SafetyGearPro I ordered goggles from their company on June 3rd

I ordered goggles from their company on June 3rd. July 1st rolls around, and there's been no update. I contact the company and was told due to COVID restrictions, it's taking a bit longer. Item should be shipped out within a week. Okay, understandable. July 13th rolls around, still no update. I contact Customer Service again and am told that my order has been delayed due to supply chain issues and that my order will not be set out for another 6-8 weeks. I request a refund for the order and receive an email from them on July 20th confirming my request. No response. I email again on July 22nd asking how long it takes to process a refund. On July 23rd, I receive an email stating my order has been shipped. While I did receive the order as described on the website, the delivery process and customer service response was frustrating as all hell. Would recommend going somewhere else.

Absolutely the worst customer service and online shopping experience. For get talking to a human. Pay special attention to the "No Hassle Return Policy". No bigger hassle is closer to the truth. 75% of your purchase price will be applied towards another pair of glasses, refunds are limited to 50% of your purchase price. I was so frustrated , I took the 50% and cut my losses.

I ordered prescription safety glasses and waited 2 months before finally just cancelling the order, after 5 weeks they said there was a delay getting the frames to the lab but after another 4 i still heard nothing even after e-mailing 2 more times.

WileyX Saber Advanced ANSI Rated Prescription Safety Sunglasses. 02-2023 update: I bought a second pair and had a terrible experience. They did not give me the 10% discount they said they were going to give me and made me wait for ages for a pair of sunglasses without any prescription. Customer service is absolutely terrible!

SafetyGearPro Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Placed the order in June 9 and was just contacted almost 2 weeks (June 18) later that my order was delayed due to no stock. What type of company is that? I've been following up as they claim the processing time is up to 10 business days. I waited for almost 3 weeks...way beyond their lead time. Their customer service kept my order was still in the lab and would be expedited. They finally shipped it on July 22 and I received my product on July 27 but guess what...the glasses did not even have prescriptions on them. I was so furious because this means they had been lying to me all along about my order was still in the lab. It's not even being made! I sent them back the next day. On August 3, they said the remake was started. Today is August 18 and I still hear nothing from them. I'll contact the credit card company that this company is fraud to get my refund.

Placed an order on June 5th, 2022. Still nothing, cannot contact anyone via phone or email. Thankfully it was only a $20 order for a replacement nose piece, save your time and money and stay far away from this company. TOTAL SCAM!

We ordered safety helmets in February 2022. After 6 weeks I contacted Lou *** with SafetyGearPro regarding the order and he informed me they were on back order. In June I asked for a refund since they were still on back order and was assured our credit card would be credited back. Still no credit to our card. I work for a small rural volunteer fire department where every dollar counts so this is especially frustrating. DO NOT ORDER from this website as it is a scam. Not sure what it takes to shut something like this down but something needs to be done.

I ordered safety glasses 7 months ago, it took 12 weeks to get them. I liked them but after 3 months the left lens started a crack from the top down. These are safety glasses! The lens should never crack! Lou said they will not replace them. This could turn into big problems if something happens while wearing them.

Ordered prescription safety glasses July 11. Received them 2 months later with scratched lenses and missing additional lenses that were advertised to come with the set. Different glass case than the website advertised. I had tried on numerous occasions to cancel this order after five weeks, but was constantly emailed that they were "checking with the lab" Their website also states they will expedite shipping if late..that didn't happen either. Had to chat on Facebook messenger in order to talk to any customer service today and was told these glasses only come with one set of lenses...ad says clear, smoked, and yellow. Clear will only have Rx. Sent a picture of the scratched lense, response: send them back for our lab to review. Return policy with the company is 50% on prescription glasses so I can only imagine what I would get back. These guys will steal your money and literally tell you to " have a great day" Disgusting

THIS CO. NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! Well, I to received an empty envelope with just the packing slip! I to was told to file a claim with the ***. I tried that, can't file a claim because these idiots don't insure the packages. I waited almost 4 week for my empty envelope. I used this Co. several years ago with no issue. I don't know what happened to them since COVID! Customer services is useless they are in the Phillipines-3rd party. I guess I am fly to Texas to shut this place down myself!

Completely disgusted! I placed my order for high vis mesh pants on June 13th 2022. I have asked multiple times when they would be shipped. I got the same response of "We are monitoring your order very closely". Today is August 2,2022 and I still have not gotten my items. This company is trash and I will never buy anything from them again!

I wish I had read these before ordering. I guess it is definitely worth it to do your homework and research when ordering from new / not certified companies. I can attest that much of what is written in the other reviews has also happened to me. SCAM.

What a huge mistake we made ordering before we checked the reviews. Save your money do not order from this company. We placed an order and cancelled within hours we did receive a cancellation order number but was still charged the amount. Trying to get the refund thus far has bee a challenge, basically we were charged for nothing. Calling the company is like calling the black hole no response or replay. Companies with business practices like safety-gear pro should be put out of business forever! The way they operate their company tell volumes of what type of people run this company bottom dwellers for sure! If you could leave a ratings of - that would be how I rate this company .

Initially, I was very pleased with the price of prescription safety glasses and those who I had ordered them for were pleased. Any chance I got I referred people to the site. However, in July, I ordered a $15 replacement hard hat suspension for myself. By September I still had not received it and was never contacted by customer service for any explanations. Left voicemails on a couple occasions and despite the "24hr response time" they pride themselves on, never heard back. Finally emailed and was told because of covid...yeah, understandable. I get a marketing email from them DAILY and they couldnt blast anything out just warning that deliveries are being delayed! Finally received order a couple weeks later. All in all took 2.5 months to get the item just to find out I ordered the wrong one. I did sit on it for a couple months before I stumbled on it again and tried to initiate an exchange. I was told that I was outside their 30 day policy and there was nothing they could do for me and they stopped responding.

A lot of what the people below have stated.. Frankly, I'm appalled that such a company could advertise themselves as a seller of safety gear and I'm not sure I'd trust my eyes with anything that comes out of their lab after my experience. I have a noticeably high prescription which already leads to issues with RX lenses, but normally I at least have a vendor warn me away from frames if the prescription would not work. That wasn't the case here. After the 16 business days came and gone, still no news or communication on my WileyX Saber Shield with RX. When it was finally sent to me, I opened the package to find that the RX insert was scratched (despite scratch resistant coating being paid for), and had impact marks on the top of the right lens.. How on earth a pair of ANSI RX inserts have damage from shipping is beyond me, and it leads me to believe that the lab simply sent these out to restart their timer as they knew I would RMA them. This is where the rabbit hole really begins. You either put your eyes in their hands, or you accept a 50% refund regardless of the RMA reason, even if they sent something defective from their own factory. You can also get a 75% store coupon, or you can put your ticket back in their lab's lottery bowl and pray that whatever they send you will stand up to a safety emergency if you were unlucky enough to run into one. Frankly, while I'm willing to take chances, I do not take chances with my eyesight. If this company finds it okay to send out damaged and defective safety product from their lab with no QA, then that tells me enough about the level of trust I should put on this company. For those of you that somehow dodged the bullet with your purchase, I'm not sure if I should feel good or bad for you. While you dodged that bullet, I certainly hope your purchase lives up to the safety standards that this company is promising you. I personally lost my faith during my experience, and will be going for a full refund through my bank.

This is a scam I ordered my glasses for fire season. And nothing will update after waiting a month and customer service telling me they are making them. They Finally tell me they haven't even started on them. And will only give a half refund.If your a fire fighter or a first responder please. Save your self some time,money, and stress.

I ordered prescription sunglasses and it took them 4 weeks to send me glasses. When I received them the prescription was so far off it was ridiculous. I tried to contact them via email and phone over 3 times with no response. Finally after calling them repeatedly someone picked up. After explaining my problem they recommended returning glasses for review. I sent them in, but heard no response for 10 days, so again I had to contact them. They agreed lens were not correct and would send me out a new pair. It took over a month and they arrived still not correct. I contacted them again and sent back glasses. They said they would correct problem, but by this time (over 3 months) I told them just refund me. Unfortunately they only refund half of your purchase price. They authorize refund. Then they found out I started a dispute with my credit card carrier, so they said refund could not be sent because of this open dispute. It was my mistake not researching this company and their refund policy. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!

I ordered some prescription safety glasses from SafetyGearPro, as they were one of the only places I could find that offered them in as high of a prescription as I require. My order took nearly 2 weeks to manufacture, which is understandable, and after nearly 3 weeks, I have finally received my prescription safety glasses. As long as they took to manufacture, I had attempted to contact SafetyGearPro for an update of some kind. some apparent mistake, my prescription was quite literally only half correct. My right eye I could see wonderfully, but my left eye was as if I wasn't looking through a lens at all. As to how such a major error could be made, I originally had thought that I made the error in inputting my prescription. Upon checking over the receipt and cross checking my ordered prescription with my current prescription from my eye doctor, I discovered that I had input my prescription correctly, and the error was made on SafetyGearPro's end. At this point I will attempt to get a refund for an incorrectly manufactured product.

I'm a wildland firefighter, I decided to get my own helmet for this fire season cause I was tired of using the helmets on our engine cause you don't know how many people have worn it before you! So I found one on safety gear pros website, put in my order on April 18th, they took the money out of my acct almost immediately and two months later I still have not received my order! I've tried calling the so called company but got a voicemail every time! I tried sending a message and nothing, soi emailed them and finally got a reply! The guy said that it takes 10-15 days to process the order! He said that he was going to have it expedited and rush my order since the fire season already had started! I've been sending email after email and keep getting the same reply! Now almost two months later I sent another email and have not got a reply back from them! I don't understand how a company like this is still allowed to have their website up and continue to scam people or of their money! This is ridiculous and this company needs to be shut down! Who knows how much money and how many people they have done this to!

SafetyGearPro Total failure in customer service

Total failure in customer service. I simply wanted to return my glasses (in perfect condition) for a refund because they were not suitable for what I intended to use them for. I completed their comprehensive return requirements (filling out a pdf, submitting photos) after about 7 days with the product. They responded about 7 days later saying they needed more information (the additional information they requested had already been clearly provided in the form they required with the initial return request). I immediately responded by clarifying the information that they already had from me when I first requested the return. It then took the company over two weeks to confirm my return and issue a shipping label. I sent back the product within a few days and then did not receive an update from them for 7 weeks. During those 7 weeks I made several unsuccessful attempts to receive an update on my return by virtual chatting and calling customer service. None of those conversations were helpful. Then, 2 weeks later they finally update my return request saying that my return warranty had expired and thus I could not receive a refund. This prompted a furious call from myself after which they finally agreed to issue me my 50% refund. I regret ever engaging with this company and strongly urge any consumer to take their business elsewhere rather than play the lottery with SafetyGearPro in hopes of having a decent exchange.

SafetyGearPro I ordered my safety glasses on April 4 and I got it on April 20 but it was the wrong glasses

I ordered my safety glasses on April 4 and I got it on April 20 but it was the wrong glasses. I contacted their customer service and I was given a return form via email the next day. I called them again to find out if they received the glasses and it took me 20 minutes just to talk to someone; nobody picks up for their option 2 for returns and option 3 for corporate. So I finally got to talk to someone and I was told they have the glasses and it would take 14 business days and that it is already being made in one of their labs. I sent a follow-up email on May 13. I sent another follow-up email asking for status on May 28. I finally called them on June 11 after getting nowhere with email and I was told it's still in their lab! I demanded a refund and the sales rep said he could not do it so I asked for his supervisor and after 2 very long waits, I was told his supervisor is in a meeting and that he would call me back. That was at noon time EST. I did not get a call back to I called again at 4:30pm EST and the supervisor was still in a meeting. I got an email from the same rep stating it was escalated and to keep my lines open but it's Saturday now and still nothing. This trouble is for a 190-dollar pair of glasses! I should have gone to a more reputable retailer. This is my first time to shop from SafetyGearPro and I totally regretted that decision. I am writing this to warn everyone so they won't have to go through the trouble I had to go through.

Ordered prescription sunglasses on 08/03. After 2 weeks of processing the order I received an email stating the lab I would have to pick different frames due to my prescription even though glasses I picked would accommodate my prescription. I selected different frames and sent a picture. I provided the frame color as well as the tint selection. received another email from Safety Gear Pro stating that I needed to inform them of the frame color I would like. Once again I responded with frame color and a gentle reminder that these were going to be sunglasses and thr color tint I selected. The following day I received another email from Saftey Gear Pro stating that I beeded to provide which tint I would like. Once again I replied with the frame color and tint selected. I was told that due to the new frames being cheaper than the original order I would receive a refund for the difference which I did receive an email for the refunded amount. After another few weeks of no updates from Saftey Gear Pro I contacted them via phone to check on the status of the order as its been nearly a month since the original order. Safety Gear Pro representative stated that the order had been sent to the lab but due to Covid it could take 4 to 8 weeks to process. Extremely excessive wait time from initial order to completion which could take 3 months. I told Saftey Gear Pro representative that I would like to have a refund as waiting a quarter of a year was too much. Customer service as well as processing times are the worst I have ever experienced anywhere.

SafetyGearPro Worst customer service I've experienced!

Worst customer service I've experienced! My order was placed over 1 month ago-the item was purchased claiming it was "in stock." Two weeks went by sunglasses still had not shipped. Called company to inquire, 10 mins on hold before a representative answered stating they would call over to fulfillment to check the status of my order...after another 10 mins on hold the representative Neil, told me "fulfillment isn't answering." I then asked him to cancel my order as I did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling about their company. Neil obliged and told me my refund would take 3-5 business days...2 days after this phone call I received an email from safetygearpro stating my sunglasses were not in stock and to pick out an alternative. UM NO, I promptly emailed back stating my return should already be in progress and I'm expecting a refund to my account in the next 3 business days. I received a reply from a Lou Javier stating he would "start" the return process for me now and to be patient as this can take up to 10 days. Here we are 15+ days AFTER this email from Lou! I'm currently on hold (38 minutes and counting) with Neil the original representative from my first phone call inquiring about my order...conveniently he is unable to get in contact with the refund department OR his supervisor! This supervisor MUST be one busy individual as I'm certain majority of phone calls are unsatisfied customers who not only haven't received their product, but have also had their monies debited from their account god knows how long ago! Would give them NEGATIVE stars if I could as they do not deserve the 1 star I had to give. Please save yourself time and money and do NOT order from this company!

if i could rate a 0 i would: so looking for new safety glasses online came across this site and they had some real good looking frames so figured i would order from them (against better judgement didnt look at reviews dumb me) so i ordered the glasses pair of bolle drifts came out to about $250 for the glasses not a super bad price as costas run around $400 so ordered the drifts get a message after paying it would be 10-15 days to process and 5-7 bisness days to ship ( little concerned but not alarmed) 12 days later order still said sent to rd lab (little more concerned starting to get alarmed) so called them up to find out what was up with the order and the lady procceds to tell me it is 10-14 bisness days +5-7 for shipping ( red flag and serious concern) but as the 14 bisness days was almost up i went ahead and chose to wait the final week 3 days later get an email stating there was a problem with the order and frames (still listed on there website as instock) was back ordered and to call. ( annoyed at this point) i call up and talk with the cs lady she proceeds to tell me that the drift fra,es are on back order untill dec 6th and would 5-7 bissness days for shipping after that (so 56-58 days from the date of order on oct 16th) so i asked what frames do they have in stock she proceeds to give me options all untasetful and not my style so i asked about another bolle type she checked and said they did have them in 3 diff colors so i chose black the lady then proceeds to tell me it would take an additonal 10-14 bisness day to switch the frames and 5-7 days for shipping putting the glasses to me at or around the 23rd give or take a couple days ( 34 days from order date if no other problems arise) it is clear they did not have the frames in stock and had to order the frames from bolle directly contradicting what the lady not 2 mins before had told me at this point just outright pissed off as after waiting 19 days that basicly my choices were to get my percription safety glasses i need for work would be nov 23rd or around dec 13th after being ordered on oct 16th. i can deal with 3 weeks annoyed it was going to take that long in first place but 1-2 months is outright absurd after she explained the times to me i just told them to cancle the order and refund my money she put the request in and i get an email telling me the refund will process in 5-7 bisness days. seems like this company dose not care about its custmers and if you order anything from them you will be lucky if you actually ever get anything and your out your money for a month min i dont like useing scam in any reviews but this expericance with safety gear pro is border line if no problems with refund they just bad with custmers and ordering and really need to fix inventory issues/ web site listings. if the refund dose not come threw and i have issues or dont get my refund this is totally a scam really hope its not anyone that reads this you are better off ordering from zenni (8 days on my last order) or going directly to your local eyeglasses place in person. ordering from safety gear pro is NOT consumer friendly and a serious waste of time

I ordered two items from this supposed company. Ordered the items on June 4th. I have not received the order and after talking to them the order has not even shipped. I have the feeling this is a internet scam. There is no real store just an office with questionable practices. I was told that 5-7 days to process and 5 days for shipping. I should have received the items by now and they are telling me the order might get processed later in the week. This is unacceptable and I think fraudulent.

Prescription sunglasses order on may 4. Recieved product but it was incorrect. returned product to be correctted April 29th. I contacted for a status update on June 16th. Was to they had been shipped out on June 18th and was giving tracking info from USPS. USPS tracking says labeled was made and are waiting for the product to arrive so they can ship. Here it is almost a month later and Safety Gear cant seem to find my glasses that I paid almost $200 for. Multiple emails have been sent

I have the feeling this is a internet scam. There is no real store just an office with questionable practices. I was told that 5-7 days to process and 5 days for shipping. I should have received the items by now and they are telling me the order might get processed later in the week. This is unacceptable and I think fraudulent.

SafetyGearPro Prescription sunglasses order on may 4

Prescription sunglasses order on may 4. Recieved product but it was incorrect. returned product to be correctted April 29th. I contacted for a status update on June 16th. Was to they had been shipped out on June 18th and was giving tracking info from USPS. USPS tracking says labeled was made and are waiting for the product to arrive so they can ship. Here it is almost a month later and Safety Gear cant seem to find my glasses that I paid almost $200 for. Multiple emails have been sent
