Cashier rudeness
I went in to buy a few donuts this morning to the Dale Road Location. A store I have been pretty much visiting daily for over 30 years. I was a little discouraged when the only open cashier was a young black man who from earlier visits I determined to have no love for white people. He never says a word to me. I pointed out which donuts I had in my little bag, and he proceeded to ring up the wrong ones. I said "I didn't point at that one, I said I had 3 of these", pointing at the proper picture. He took offense and pushed my bag back out from under the plastic shield (which should have been removed ages ago, and is one of the reasons the clerks cannot hear customers), and told me to go to the other cashier, that he wasn't going to wait on me. Then he threw my bag of donuts across the counter towards the other register. I asked what he was doing throwing my stuff and he replied "whatchu' gonn do bout it". At that point the other cashier decided she was him and told me he didn't hear me, and told me basically that I was wrong to point out the mistake. I left the store I've been going to for decades and I will never go back again. 7:10am 31 May 2023.
Lack of service
I was at united dairy farmer located at 5023 Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45212 at 2:50 PM. I purchased gas then I went inside to get an ice cream and I was told they were not selling ice cream today. I was the only customer in the store. I do not understand why I could not get an ice cream. It is an ice cream store thank you. This happened 5/16/2023 2:50pm.

You guys had a promotion for buy two 20 oz Cokes products and get 5 cents off a gallon and I couldn't find the other receipt cuz I already did this once before and you gave me my other you gave me my five cents off a gallon but I was supposed to have 25 cents off a gallon but I couldn't find the other receipt I have found the other receipt now and I want my five cents off a gallon I have a picture of the receipt it was in my wallet at the time I made the first complaint I could not find the receipt but the only thing on the receipt is the two Cokes and whether the promotion was up over or not the sticker was still up on the cooler and it should be honored. So I am old 5 cents off a gallon.

I want to make a complaint about the cashier on the morning shift. Very smug .Makes you feel like you are bothering him to ask for something. I avoid this location because of him. He's on his phone sitting down when you come in. And he acts like I am inconvenient him to ask for something. Please talk to him. I don't think he needs to be overly happy, but his body language and demeanor gives of a bad vibe.

Manager calls police unwarranted
On 12.6.2022 between 12:30am & 12:55 am, I went to the udf on Kenwood & Hunt Rd. to get a milwaukee's best. I've been a regular since I moved here in June & have built with rapport with most everybody that works there. So I go and see the rack in the cooler empty, but a fresh case of beer was in the cooler behind the racks. I went to the counter to ask Louise's wife for the beer & she attempted to give me the run around saying if its not on the shelf they don't have it; but since I already spotted it I let her know then she told me to wait for Louie to get out the bathroom. After a while she realized how long it was taking so she walked over to the entrance of the cooler. Then Louie rushed directly out the restroom, and she told him to go get the beer, at which point I suggested she just finish getting it because "Louie didn't wash his hands." They were extremely dry, and there was never any sound of an air dryer or paper towel dispenser. Now, if I had been inaccurate, it would've just been a lighthearted joke - but he got so offended he threatened his wife to "quit because of me", at which point I patted him on the shoulder in congratulations- same way I did back when he told me he got promoted. He then turned, approaching me and pointing in my face & violently said "never touch me again", at which point the police were called and lied to as if I was the threat and not this 400 pound loose cannon. A lot of the coworkers agree he's become extremely abusive since the couple started working together. I'm all for empowering the mentally disabled with nametags and titles - but there's a major difference between having a title & possessing the competence to not be abusive with such a facade of power. Please stop abusing 911. Stop calling police & lying on folks in secret hopes you get to witness yet another unwarranted, unarmed black murder.
Desired outcome: There ought to be compensation for the laws broken & the rights violated in this situation. The store is not their home, neither any patron their children - & that fact should be respected at all times: mentally disabled or not.
Employee Was Rude to me and my mom
At 5:30am on 10/30/2022 the employee that was working at store #051G Woodford/Ridge Rd. confronted me and my mom because we was sitting in there to get warm cause it was 44 degrees outside even though we didn't purchase anything and basically kicked us out even though we wasn't doing anything wrong or upsetting any customers (even though we was literally the only people in the store other than him), and was a total jerk to us about it too.
Desired outcome: An apology to me and my mom from the store,corporate,and/or the employee,the employee to get written up for unreasonable customer confrontation,and the employee to get fired or transferred.
Manager Blanchester Ohio
I have been shopping at udf in Blanchester for a few years so I'm familiar with the lady day manager, not personally, just who she is. I have been in there several times when she's been there and several times she lets the lines get piled up with customers and not helping when a register is not being used. I know for a fact that she is fully aware of it, but choses to ignore it. She's not very nice to her employees either.
For the most part the employees are good and friendly. I've never had a problem with them, but she is irresponsible and insensitive to her customers and employees.
Udf store/gas station
I tried to get gas at the 11620 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246 location just a few minutes ago and could not. Why offer gas if people can't get it when they need it? I work from 11am to 11pm and am pretty tired after work. I don't normally have a lot of time before work to stop and get gas. I definitely won't be shopping at that store again. The rest of the lights were on and people were working inside. They need a whole new staff at this location. This really shows how much UDF cares about all of it's customers.
Desired outcome: Keep the pumps on at night for people that work weird shifts.
Large strawberry malt
I just had the worse malt I ever had from udf fairfield, oh. My son brought it to me for fathers day and it tasted like a cup of expired warm milk with no flavor at all! It seemed like some employee either did this on purpose or has no idea how to make them! My son knew I loved them and stopped by around 08:30 pm today at this udf to get one. To make matters worse I tried to call to tell the manager several times and nobody answered the phone! What a rip off!
Desired outcome: An apology and a gift card!!
unauthorized credit card charge
The UDF in Springboro Ohio simply charged me $25 twice for a gift card
on my credit card on March 3rd. With no exaggeration after 14 phone calls to the store and customer service in Cincinnati (I think) they are not refunding my money. They know the charge was done in error but they continually say they can't just give it back. I guess they can take it in error but can not give it back.
I am so amazed at this lack of judgment on there part, what can I do?
Desired outcome: Just give me my money back that you acknowledge you owe me. It's that simpleand also don't make me follow up on this. I have had too many promises to call me back and no call.

I am complaining about the changes that have been made to the UDrive as far as earning discount amounts towards fuel. Now they expire in a month and this gives me a reason not to stop at UDF any more to use this perk. I loved that the points did not expire and so I could accumulate for a few months. Now I am no longer interested in going to UDF as often to earn the discount. This was the major reason why I frequented UDF so much. Now you are no better than any of the other vendors that offer discount fuel points. I will not be as anxious to go to UDF now as the benefit has been taken away.
Desired outcome: It would be great for the fuel points discount to not expire for six months instead of a month.
Unfriendly customer service
I believe this may be the first time out of hundreds of the hundreds times I've been to UDF that the cashier rang me out without saying a single word. On June 24th I stopped in at UDF located in Gahanna, Ohio on Cherrybottom Rd. and ran in to get Hamburger buns. I pulled up and noticed that 2 windows had been boarded up as well as one side of the door. I asked what happened and the clerk stated they were broken into 2 weeks ago. One clerk working and no social distancing, clerk was not wearing a mask and the store was dirty. With everything going on today with covid, sanitation and disinfecting are necessary!

Went to UDF at Rivers Edge Milford Oh Bought gas then parked in front of store to go in to buy ice cream. Two clerks standing behind counter, neither greeted us or offered to help. one was busy playing on his phone. We were not sucessful putting in an order on the kiosk and gave up and left.
I used to haul gas for UDF, but this and other recent experiences tells me they have lost their customer first focus.
We will not be back to UDF.
