Puppy mill
Our puppy arrived sick and passed away shortly thereafter. Kristy/Sam Houston ghosted us, she went radio silent and did not honor her “guarantee”. This is a puppy mill, beware. Horrible, horrible experience! My young children were devastated. From the time the puppy arrived he needed medical care. Thousands and thousands of dollars in vet bills later to try to care for a sick puppy and provide him with the quality of life he deserved, he passed away. He was only 2. Please avoid this breeder at all costs!
animal breeder
We purchased our female rottweiler in May of 2014. After 2.5yrs she started having seizures and her vision in one eye started to deteriorate. We had to have our dog admitted to the animal hospital where she was started on phenobarbital in order to control her seizures. I called Sam Houston Rottweilers several times and left several messages without a returned call. When we purchased our dog Kristy gave a "health guarantee" which us complete bull. Now we are stuck with a dog that is blind in one eye and requires anti seizure medication twice daily. Please don't buy from this business they are crooks!
I had a similar situation with a dog we purchased from Kristy and Sam Houston Rottweilers in 2014. He arrived very sick. He was shipped. She assured me it was safe. I think he was sick before she sent him. Unfortunately he was never a healthy dog and lived a very short life, which was absolutely devastating for my two young children. We spent thousands of dollars trying to provide a good quality of life for him but in the end he was suck and suffering. Kristy ghosted me, never honored her guarantee and went radio silent. From what I’ve been able to gather, they are a puppy mill. Please please please do not do business with this person/company.
9 month old puppy had to be put down
Our beautiful puppy developed a limp at six months. At 9 months he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. We had to put him down. When I contacted the breeder regarding the diagnosis she stated " I've never heard of that in Rottwrilers". We are now in the process of filing a co with the tx licensing board. Beware of these breeders.
