just left vet with a 300 dollar bill for indoor cat suffering from flea bites and hair nots been buying revolution for my indoor cat for 2 years they had to shave her and suggested i never buy from canada vet...again and switch companies... looked at package it says SOUTH AFRICA I contanted Zoietix manufacture of Revolution and they said Counterfeit is extremely common however there is no way to test this and they dont test

Rip off - flea and tick products not arriving
I ordered a very expensive order In August 2020 and was told it would arrive in 7-10 days. It did not. It has not. It is Spetember 18, 2020 today. I paid quite a bit of money for these products because my pets needed them. I am on a fixed income and have no money to order other meds right now.
All they said was that it was shipped via Canadian and US postal service and that they will not give me a tracking number. I want my money back. How can a company ship something and keep not records of it to track where it is or where it went? I want my money back so I can get flea and tick meds for my pets.
revolution anti-flea medication for cats
They charged me $124.63 CAD, of which $7.91 CAD was for shipping and handling. Now that I got the item, I see that the declared customs value is $70 AUD, and on the CBSA form it was calculated as $68.31. Not only I was overcharged by them in almost double the price, I ended up paying $18.15 CAD in import fee, meaning your overcharging did not even include pre-collection of taxes.
Contacted the customer service, they blamed postal strikes and said "As far as the declared value, unfortunately, we don't have the resources to change the amount so we receive the pre-printed stickers with that amount on them from our couriers." PRE-PRINTED STICKERS THAT THEY CAN'T CHANGE... such nonesense. I have photos of my receipts, the packaging and the customs form + the email, if anyone needs proof.
Canadians beware, this operation has only a P.O box and sells to Canadian customers out of Australia, and lies to customers and the customs agencies and revenue agencies of both Canada and Australia in terms of the money they collect from customers.

custom duties
After reviewing their advertising about such great prices, I ordered revolution which they were selling at the same price as my vet (without the vet fees for a visit). Thought it was great until I received the package with an amount due for custom duties.
I was shocked.
After complaining they advised that they mentioned this on their site. Didn't see it.
Very disappointed. Now I know why it took so long to get it. It came from Germany.

valuheart heartworm tablets for large dogs
An order I made almost 3 months ago never arrived. I've contacted customer service several times for a refund and they said that because the product was not properly delivered and is being sent back to their warehouse and cannot issue a refund until it arrives. I don't see how this is my problem. A month goes by and still no refund, contacted customer service again to get the same runaround. Will probably never receive a refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE.
Same happened to me. They should have to give tracking numbers.
tick medication
Paid $100 for tick medication from what I thought was a canadian vet supply distribution company. After consecutive messages over a two week period i find out that this company in fact ships from Australia and i can expect to wait over 30 days for my product to arrive. It hasn't arrived. I haven't been reimbursed for my loss of hard earned money. Sounds like something the better business bureau would be interested in.

I ordered Revolution from them and it was supposed to take 10 days. It has been 16 days and I haven't received it yet. I was tired of waiting, so I ordered some from Australia and 4 days later it was there with free shipping and the Revolution was much cheaper too!
I emailed them and was informed that it'll take 28 days now! Not what was advertised, and if they had told me it takes 28 days I wouldn't have bought anything from them. Karen.
flea medication
I ordered flea meds from my pet believing I was ordering from Canada or possibly US because I was billed in USD. My order arrived and it came from Germany, was damaged badly and I had to pay a $19.11 customs bill!
It does not state on their website anything about customs or that it may come from another country, unless they updated since I spoke with customer service.
They said if I want a refund I have to pay return shipping to AUSTRALIA! That is outrageous. The package came from Germany.
This is not a matter of mind change or no longer needed. It is a matter of damaged product. The customs fees was just an added kick in the gut!
I reported them to PayPal.
selling meds illegal to import. you won't get it.
I ordered from canadavet because I thought it was being sent from canada. On their webpage it says they are located in vancouver, bc. I am in vancouver, bc so I thought it would arrive in a few days because that's how long mail takes here. After waiting a month I called and asked why I hadn't received it. They are just drop shippers. They take your money then order from a company over seas and it takes months to arrive. They did not mention this when ordering. I could order it myself from overseas for less. I chose a canadian company so i'd get it quickly.
So after waiting months because it's too late to cancel I receive a letter from canada customs that I tried to import illegal drugs that aren't allowed to be shipped to canada unless you are a vet or pharmacist. The letter said my package was refused entry. I called canada vet and asked why they are selling products that aren't allowed to be shipped to canada and they literally said "customs doesn't check every package, they only spot check so a lot of packages still arrive. A lot of customers still get their package. There is just a chance they will catch it"! Seriously? You are ordering illegal drugs in my name (Like I said they are drop shippers, they take your money then order it cheap from an international company using your name and address so the blame goes on you) and they say it might not get caught! Just because you might not get caught doesn't make it okay. I can try to smuggle cocaine across the border and I also "might not get caught"! It is illegal to order these products overseas and they are well aware of it.
Don't waste your time and money waiting for a shipment that, if caught, will be refused entry into canada. This company needs to be shut down for it's illegal activity.

I ordered meds over 3 weeks ago and nothing. I called and they said it may be held at the border! BS! Why would your freight be held at the border if what you do for a living is sell meds and apparently sell them for years!?!?
Also this cannot possibly be a CANADIAN company! When I called the Customer Service agent said OREGON when he saw my address Barrie, ON. If you're Canadian you would immediately say Ontario not Oregon! The Vancouver address is just a front. If you love your pet then don't buy anything from this company
de-worming drug
I recently purchased Drontol from this company and it made my dog puke for a couple days and now she doesn't want to eat her her anymore because she thinks that's what caused it. It really sucked, my girlfriend wasn't even pissed, she just started crying at the fact that i fed her something from a company so sketchy like this. Shame on you canadavet.com, just pull the plug on your business because you're breaking peoples hearts. I don't know if it was expired but whatever i gave it to my dog the day we got it and yeah, so upset with this company. To the person who seems to think they should defend this company because you work for them at the desk doesn't realize the practises they do in the warehouse behind the office and should stop defending this company. Stop calling your company canadavet.com if you're based out of Australia! Karma will get you.

Purchased Advantage Flea medicine. Payment went through my account immediately. It has now been two weeks and no product, no return email and when I called they just keep saying "Oh its been mailed"... Delivery time and customer service is awful. My poor dog is so sad. We had to go out and but it at the pet store which cost double the price . So cheaper IS NOT always better. B uyer beware.

Can anyone tell me of a RELIABLE source in Canada where I can order my pet medications that are normally only issued by prescription in the States? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
CanadaVet.com makes every effort to look as if they are based in Canada - but they are not. They are based in Australia and owned by Ani Welf Int Pty Ltd. Shipment take over a month to arrive in North America, if they arrive at all. When asked directly, via email, they repeatedly stated they were based in Canada. They are liars.
It is strongly recommended that you never purchase anything from their canadavet.com website.

I ordered flea and heart worm medication for my dog Feb 2, 2012 after seeing the great prices I referred 2 friends who spent over $100 as well. The website says it takes up to 11 business days max but I did not receive my merchandise until March 12, 2012.
When I called to check on my order after 16 business days had past they gave me the run around and said they don't know what's the hold up because the order was shipped. I asked to speak with management and the lady said she could put a memo in with the dispensary and they would call me ASAP. 2 days later i receive and email confirming my order had just been shipped? I never heard from management so I called again to complain. Same run around.
Since I live in an over crowded area it is essential that my dog is treated...but since the shipping took a month and a half my dog got a bad infestation of fleas.
Canadavet.com if you would have been a little more considerate of my concern I would not be as upset with the delay but since you cared the least of this problem I will never refer you again.

I have ordered from this company since 2008 and every order has takes longer and longer to get to my house. I ordered Valueheart and Revolution on 8/24/11. It is almost 2 months later and the company will not respond to repeated emails and the phone just rings and rings... I would never buy from them again!

I, too, ordered from CanadaVet.com for years with no problems. A couple of years ago, apparently, they lost their domain name to another company calling themselves CanadaVet. They then changed their domain name to CanaCreek, which is why they had our billing and shipping info on file. I did notice that shipments began to take months, not weeks, but always received the original or replacement shipment. I wanted to place an order last week, and saw that the site is now closed. Interestingly, today I received an email from a company claiming to be Canacreek. It was a reminder to order EXACTLY what I usually order from them, and even reminded me of the EXACT date of my last purchase. My father is a State Consumer Affairs Officer, and I'm going to forward the info to him to investigate. I'll post what I find out.
Canadavet posted that there is no relationship between Cancreek and Canadavet. I dealt with Canadavet for nearly 5 years. In 2010 the product invoices began to state Canacreek rather than CanadaVet. My account number remained the same and my credit card number was still on file.
Can canadavet explain this?

Unfortunately many customers are reporting that they have problems with canacreek.com and that orders are not received and calls not taken. Some have also reported that Canacreek claims to be Canadavet or associated with Canadavet in some way. This is simply not true. Avoid canacreek.com and if you have had problems with them, please advise your credit card company immediately.

Ordered product on 12/24/10, not received as of 1/21/11. Tried to call to cancel order but held on phone for 17 min., yes 17 min. according to my phone timer. Never got to speak to anyone. Their website says orders should arrive in 5 to 7 days, not 30 days.
Sent e-mail about order, no response. Buried in their website it says that some orders come from Australia and may take up to 28 days. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company. Do NOT order from this company.
