Saskatchewan Telecommunications in Regina is not good for internet service
Saskatchewan Telecommunications in Regina is not good for internet service. My internet goes offline and it takes days or even weeks for them to fix it. Their response time is substandard and pathetic. When I call for technical phone service, it leads to nothing. They ignore my requests for new equipment and their technicians can't seem to troubleshoot the reoccurring problem. It's frustrating.

Sasktel told us in 2020 they gonna give us new internet service
Sasktel told us in 2020 they gonna give us new internet service. We said no, but they said we had to take it or lose our internet. They said they would put the cable underground, but they only put flags on our lawn. In the fall, they said they couldn't bury it, so they put it over the neighbor's fence and along our fence to the box. In 2021, they said they would bury the line, but nothing happened. Now it's August 2022, and they put flags again, but nothing happened. We don't like the flags because our grandson is 2 years old, and they are dangerous. Sasktel never comes back to remove them or finish the job. We tried to contact them before, but nothing happened.
I bought a new phone from someone and Sasktel blacklisted it, even though it was only ever used on my account
I bought a new phone from someone and Sasktel blacklisted it, even though it was only ever used on my account. I got a brand new phone in the box from someone through Sasktel. My account is ***. I only used it for about 4 months from November , and then one day it stopped working. Sasktel blacklisted the phone because of problems with the original purchaser's account and wouldn't help me. They said the police needed to look into it, but the phone wasn't reported stolen. Sasktel wouldn't help me even though they're the only ones who can remove the blacklist, so now I can't use the phone. They tried to sell me new deals to buy a new phone and switch my plan to them. The police are investigating further. Sasktel employees refused to help or answer my questions and said it was my fault for buying it. They did say at first that the original account purchaser had account problems and they needed to talk to her to fix it. ***. ***.
I got SaskTel to upgrade our Internet in March
I got SaskTel to upgrade our Internet in March . They said I needed fibre, so I agreed. But the installer did a terrible job. They ran the cable across my neighbor's yard and fence, and left it on the ground where people walk. It's dangerous and ugly. I didn't complain until June, and then again in August. They kept saying they'd fix it, but they never did. I even wrote to the President, but all I got was empty words. They buried a new cable, but the old one is still there. I don't know what to do anymore, so I'm complaining to ComplaintsBoard.com.

I had a problem with a telephone box in front of my house and asked Sasktel to move it
I had a problem with a telephone box in front of my house and asked Sasktel to move it. They asked me where it was and where I wanted it moved. They sent me a picture of where they thought it was, but it wasn't there. I asked them to move it to where they said it was, but they wanted me to pay $3400. I asked for proof that they had permission to put it there, and they sent me a document from their legal team. It says they can enter public places to put up poles and wires, but they have to restore the ground and not interfere with travel or access to buildings. The box is partly blocking access to my property.
