Don't get the Schneidermans Credit Card. You won't be able to cancel it. The card is held by TD Bank and nobody answers the phone, and the online portal is a loop with no option to cancel.
Terrible online shopping experience, customer care is a joke, they don't care
Terrible online shopping experience, customer care is a joke, they don't care. Schneiderman's doesn't give you a purchase number to track your purchase, you have to call customer care so they can find it. It seems like online purchases aren't regularly received and acted on without the purchaser asking. Online orders of items in stock can take 30 days or more with free delivery to your garage. Customer Care told me I had a showroom floor piece that wasn't mentioned. I live far from the distribution center and couldn't get the item delivered or even pick it up myself in a timely way. Schneiderman's Customer Care is an oxymoron. I cancelled my order.

Two years ago me and my wife bought a sectional from this place. The sales lady told us to get the platinum warranty because it covers anything that could go wrong, so we did. There's springs in the cushions and four out of five cushions have springs that have blown apart. The warranty company won't fix it because the springs are in the cushions and not the frame. I called the manager at Schneiderman's two weeks ago to talk about the issue. I left a message and didn't hear anything back. Last time I checked a $1,500 piece of furniture should last more than two years. Go somewhere else for your furniture needs.
This company is terrible
This company is terrible. My wife and I bought a sofa from them. I asked at the start to make sure the sofa was in their warehouse in Lakeview and the lady assured me it was. We went ahead with the purchase and even double-checked to confirm the sofa's availability and when I could pick it up. The sales lady said anytime between 8am-4pm. So I took the day off and went to pick it up. What a waste of time. I live in Hamlake and it took me over an hour to get there. There was no couch. Not only did I lose work time and money on gas, they didn't even offer to help or compensate for my losses. They didn't seem to care at all and said I have to come back when the couch is available, which could take 3 months. This company is a scam and heartless. I won't shop there again and they should be investigated for their fraudulent tactics!

After 3 years, the fabric on the footrest on the recliner we bought from Schneiderman's has completely worn out. A technician from Schneiderman’s checked the chair and said the design on the footrest was faulty, causing the fabric to wear out too soon. We've used the chair normally and never wear shoes inside the house. We took the insurance package called "E-CARECOMBO" that they offered with the chair. But when we made a claim, they said they don't cover worn fabric. Schneiderman’s won't stand behind their product. Also, Schneiderman’s has been dragging their feet for almost 4 months in our complaint process. The first "customer care" manager said they were waiting for a fabric shipment. When we followed up, we found out that this manager had left the company, and the new manager said the chair was discontinued and there was no fabric available. Schneiderman’s hasn't offered any reasonable solution.

I bought 2 recliners from the Woodbuy store on 11/28/28. They finally came on 3/08. When they were less than a year old, the seats started feeling like wood because the padding was almost gone. Because of Covid, the stores were closed. We got their E-Care 5 year Protection Plan. I called customer service on 6/26 and talked to Allie. She said they would order the parts and fix them at our house. 3-4 weeks went by. I called Allie again. She said it takes about 5-6 weeks for the parts to come. I waited about 4 more weeks. I called Allie again and left a message. No reply again. Finally, on 9/1, I talked to a customer service manager. The manager said Allie doesn't work there anymore and there's a new contact. She said she would check and get back to me. She said the parts were ordered and a new customer representative was assigned. She asked for a claim number. Allie didn't mention anything about claim numbers. (Actually, the sheet we got in 2018 about the 5 yr care package doesn't mention claims or anything. It just has Schneiderman's phone number. We don't have anything else about the Protection Plan.) The manager said she would check with the Protection Plan representatives and the Customer Service Representative and someone would get back to me. Again, no call. It's now 9/14. I will also contact the Attorney General's office. This is fraud, plain and simple. I see from other posts that others had the same problem. Schneiderman's sells the Protection Program, but no one tells us about the terms and conditions policy that's supposed to be mailed to us after the purchase, which we never got. They take the money for the Protection Plan, but don't fix the problems with the products they sell.

I bought a three piece sectional on 9/25. They said it was in stock and scheduled delivery for Oct. 7th. But two days before, they told me only one piece would come and the other two in mid-November. I asked for a refund on Oct. 5th, but as of Oct. 10th, I still haven't gotten it. This is either dishonest or a mistake. They should refund our hard-earned money quickly, in our opinion. I've bought a bunch of furniture at Schneidermann's before. Not sure what's going on with them now.

I bought a sectional from Schneiderman Furniture, Inc. in August . I paid over $3,000 for it and an additional $500 for a care warranty. Unfortunately, the recliner stopped working. I filed a claim and it took over 2 weeks to get a repairman, who came all the way from Vegas. I live in Iowa, so that was quite a distance. The repairman looked very unprofessional and his work was sloppy. He left without fully fixing the recliner and said he might come back. I had to order a part for the recliner, but it has been over 2 months now and I still haven't received the part or had the repair done. I called the company a few times, but they initially said the part wasn't even ordered. Then they told me the part was being mailed to me and that I would need to call to schedule a technician to come back when the part arrives. However, I still haven't received the part.

Another chair had peeling on its hard surface. I got a response saying that these things weren't covered by the warranty, that it was just 'normal' dirt. But that's not true. Before this, I filed a claim and they sent me a 'cleaning cloth' to do it myself. But the cloth didn't work and when I called back, they said I waited too long to call. They denied that too. When I bought the warranty, they told me it would cover anything and everything for 5 years. Did something change and now they only cover what they think is covered?

I got a bedroom set from Schneiderman's Woodbury. It had a queen size headboard, but we wanted a king size one, so we ordered that too. We kept the queen size headboard while we finished a room in our basement, and then we opened it to install it in that room. One of the parts was obviously messed up and poorly fixed. It just wouldn't work. We called Schneiderman's to see if they could repair or replace it, but they straight up refused to help unless we paid for the repair. We never even used or opened it, and there's no way it got damaged while sitting in our basement (the repair seems to have used different parts than the other 3 good parts). We thought any decent store would easily fix this. We just want the bed fixed or the parts replaced. I got pictures of the problem.

But now, one of the springs in the recliner has stretched out and it's makin' us sit all wonky and uncomfortable. We decided to let 'em know 'cause this furniture ain't cheap and we're still in the warranty time. The paperwork says the warranty covers the frame and springs, so we thought we were good. But then they replied sayin' they won't cover it 'cause we didn't report it within 30 days. Nobody ever told us about this 30-day rule, not in person or on paper. I tried to make a claim twice, but they just rejected it both times. I remember when I bought the warranty, they said if they couldn't fix it, they'd replace it.

The mattress I got now is a Beautyrest Black C-Class. I still ain't happy with it. These new mattresses they make are so dang heavy, I can't even change the dang sheets 'cause I gotta lift the whole mattress. I got arthritis and carpal tunnel pain every day, and I'm 87 years old and only weigh 114 lbs. I'm hopin' they can make an exception for me and let me return this mattress for a refund. I sent 'em a letter explainin' everything on July 17, but they done denied me any more changes. I can't use this mattress, and it's impossible to sell a used mattress, so I gotta give it away. That's a terrible huge loss for me, 'cause I paid $3,100 includin' taxes and delivery charges. I already bought another mattress at the Original Mattress Factory 'cause they still make them old fashioned lower and lighter mattresses and it fits me just right. I had to buy a more expensive mattress 'cause all the cheaper ones are heavy, or else I wouldn't get no refund if I got a cheaper one in an exchange.

In January , I bought 3 rooms of furniture from the Woodbury interior designer. It arrived in late March. On 6/29, I noticed one of the chairs in our sunroom was falling apart and the pattern looked crooked. I called customer service and spoke to Becky. She couldn't find our original order, so I emailed the invoice and sent pictures. Becky called me back on 7/1 and said she got the pictures. She was checking with a technician to see if there was enough fabric to fix the pattern and promised to call me back. I didn't hear from her until I sent another email on 7/31. Finally, they scheduled a technician to come to the house. The technician arrived on 8/7 and I showed him the chair. He asked, "what's wrong with it," which worried me. I explained and showed him the pattern and where the chair was falling apart. He took more pictures and said someone would have to take the chair to fix the pattern if there was enough material. He also fixed the part where the chair was coming apart. Fast forward to Nov 7, they finally picked up the chair to fix the pattern. On Nov 14, they returned it with the pattern on the back now vertical instead of horizontal. It doesn't match the rest of the chair or its matching one. I immediately called customer service and spoke to Amber. She said she would talk to a manager and call me back early in the week. She did call back, but said she was waiting for a resolution, but it would be "rushed." I called again in mid-December and she said they were trying to get material. On Dec 29, I called and asked for a manager, but no one responded until I vented my frustration on Facebook on Dec 30. Finally, on Dec 31, a manager called and said they would check with the vendor and call back. It's now Jan 8, 2021, and I still haven't received a callback or a resolution.
