On 02/13/2024 A contractor was hired to cut down a tree in my back yard. He supplied a Certificate of Liability Insurance he did not have a policy of what was covered just the limits on the damage that may occur. He cut the Tree and Landed in my Neighbors back yard trashing her Fence, Trees, and a swing. I ask for a policy to see what was covered and they refused to give me one to read. Yet they told me I should have read the Policy before he did the work. Does not make sense. The tree was cut in the limits he paid for coverage. They said they sent an Adjuster out to survey the damage I never saw them or got an estimate. I paid for my neighbors damage myself cause it was not her fault. I had to hire another Firm to do the work cause the guy who cut the tree ran, never saw him again. It cost over $12,000 the repair out of my pocket. I am an elderly man and do not have 12 grand to throw around. They have been giving me the run around since the day I filed the claim which was soon after. They say they have to go over the Policy to Make sure of everything, how long does it take to read a Policy. Every week the say I will let you know something in a few days. Thimble and their Insurance hacks are holding me hostage. I have never delt with such incompetence. I do not recoment Thimble or there adjusters Sedgwick. This has been a stressful disaster. As of todat its been 38 days.
