Enhancing Family Safety with Life360: A Personal Perspective
As a user of Life360, I have found the app to be a valuable tool in ensuring the safety and well-being of my loved ones. The features provided by Life360, such as location tracking and driving safety alerts, have given me peace of mind in knowing that my family members are safe and secure. The app's accuracy and reliability have been commendable, allowing me to stay connected with my family members and receive timely notifications. While there have been occasional issues reported by some users, my overall experience with Life360 has been positive, and I would recommend it to others looking to enhance their family's safety.
Love this app!
My family has used this app for several years. I raised 3 girls and it has definitely gave me a peace of mind knowing they are safe and where they tell me they are going. I don't use it to spy like some people think parents do. There are a lot of sick people in this world and if something were to happen to one of my family members I can trace where they have gone to. It has only glitched a hand full of times and certainly not enough over the years to give a bad review. Recently someone stole my sons phone and I was able to go straight to the location and get the phone back with this app. No crash detection does not work but I can track how fast my new drivers drive or slow. Which helps me guide them.
The reviews are hilarious
You can tell which reviews are written by the kids trying to get the app banned. The review starts out saying it ruins the relationship with parents then says they ARE the parent. One says it sells your information to the government. As if the government needs to buy that information OR would use an app to get it... LMAO. Multiple reviews contradicting itself one sentence after the previous. My kids learned how to used the app to their favor. They said they never felt spied on because we didn't use it like that. My husband and I only used it when the kids texted us to say they needed a ride and didn't know the address. We decided as a family to participate and no one was forced. Ridiculous to say that an app ruins relationships.

He will definitely help you without any drama.he is very choosy so be sure to make mention of reference
Really Helpful App
I use this on my iPhone all the time. My husband travels weekly (long flights + long drives) so I use it to see when he's on the road vs in a meeting vs at a hotel so I don't call at a bad time. When we're both home I don't really check it - it will let me know when he's on his way home from the office and that's enough for me. Overall just great for coordinating and being able to tell if people are safe without bugging them. Once my kids have cell phones I will definitely ask that they keep this running. I don't like the idea of not being able to get in touch with someone, or found myself, if there's an emergency.
I haven't had any experiences with really random locations being reported but I don't like look back at my husband's day. I don't have time for that.
Excellent App!
This app has been wonderful for our family. There are obviously some kids that don't like it (as is evident by the pretty humorous tantrums being thrown in the comments here). If your kids are well behaved and for the most part trustworthy, then they will probably like this app too. If they like to sneak around and don't want their parents to know their whereabouts, then they probably won't like the app. This is a huge compliment to Life360! To those that complain about battery life, the app needs GPS to determine your location, and GPS radios typically require a significant amount of power, especially if you use drive detection mode. Your complaint about this would more accurately be directed toward the phone manufacturer. This app can't do its job without GPS location updates.
The most credible hacker alive
Thanks to the internet, so much has changed. I will like to share this here: I once had a cheating wife that connived with my employee to rob me off my company. I had my suspicions though so to clear my doubts I had to make a deep research for the best hacker to help me out. I found this hack genie on Google and read good reviews about him on many blogs, I contacted him via email at...
[ COMPUTERWORM. HACKER (a t) HOTMAIL dot COM] and he got me all the information I needed to stop them. I will forever be thankful to this guy for saving my life and business I built with my hard earned money.
Additionally, If you are a business owner and want to keep track of your workers, clone hard disk, cell phones, all social media networks discreetly without blowing your cover. Also, Website hack, school grade, credit score hacks you can contact him at his business address above
Had to call for roadside assistance last night &they actually came thru big time!
I've had the life360 app for a few months &overall, it's given me &my circle more peace of mind. I don't feel like my privacy is being invaded like I thought I would &I've never had any issues with the app not functioning properly. The real test was last night, I had to call for roadside assistance after AAA told me (after 3hrs waiting for them to show up) they were sorry but they wouldn't be able to make it out to me at all. I was in disbelief and livid as it was now pretty late &I'm in an unfamiliar area. Anyway the light bulb clicked on &I remembered I have roadside assistance through the 360 app! Long story short, one phone call to the service technician &he then sent me one text that included a live link to my request of service showing me the drivers ETA &all other necessary information to keep me informed! I am so happy &I'm grateful for this app! Well worth the annual price &will continue to recommend to everyone I know!
Excellent family GPS app
It provides GPS location for your circle of family and friends you get to sign up. This means you can check to see if they are at work or school and shouldn't be bothered with a phone call. Or if you are trying to pick them up, it connect to Google Maps to navigate you to their location. Or if you want to know where they are on a long road trip, or traveling the world, Life 360 will show you where they are at. If you zoom into the map, a google earth photo will fill the map to show you what stuff Google Earth shows is really in that area, not just a map representation...
It also has little dots on the screen that represent crime spots for that location -- good to know if you are staying or visiting an area to be on extra alert.
It also works world wide. For example, while in mainland China, we could locate each other via the phone. You really can't ask people for direction unless you know Chinese... It also shows the battery status of your circle of friends, so if someone's low on power, you might text them they need to charge up... Or it could be a lost phone just about to 'disappear'...
Big duh -- it uses your GPS so turn it off if you're running down on battery... It can help to turn off wifi location finding as that's also a big battery hog. IMHO, that info is mostly of interest to Google, not individuals wandering around the globe.
Also, if you change phones, you have to monkey around with moving your GPS location to your new phone, or all you'll see in where your old phone ran out of battery. No, it also won't show people where you are when flying in a plane...

Life360 Complaints 50
On August 6th my son was in a bad car accident
On August 6th my son was in a bad car accident. Fortunately, he was not severely injured, but his car was declared a total loss. We are subscribers to Life 360's Gold Membership plan. Part of this membership is crash detection and notification of emergency responders to the scene of an accident. None of this happened at my son's accident. My son did have his phone with him which was located in a cup holder. I sent in a complaint to Life 360 by email on their web site. They sent a response back asking for more information, which I sent to them. They sent a second email asking for more information regarding the accident, which I sent them. They sent a third email saying they never received a reply from me and were closing out the complaint as rectified. I sent them back a response that I most certainly had replied to both emails. They sent a fourth email again asking for more detailed information, which I sent them. I never heard back from them again. This was a couple of weeks ago now. I sent them a fourth email asking for a response to my complaint. They are not responding to any of my emails. I have read other complaints similar to mine on the internet about the lack of notification during accidents.I feel this company may be committing fraud and endangering its customers by offering services that are not given. This was a very serious situation that could have been much worse. They do not even have the decency to respond to my complaint. I have uploaded the claim I received from my insurance company regarding the accident.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have been trying to work with this company for a refund of service. They auto-renewed my service and charged me without me knowing it was signed up for the service. I ask day of charge that they cancel the service and refund the month. I am billed a year in advance. The program is not giving me what I need, and I no longer need it. Their website is not easy to navigate to get help. I have emailed and talked to support, but no help has been rendered at this time. My request is to refund my money for a service I have not used yet.
In July 2022 I purchased a gold membership through Life360 web app services. The agreement was for *** for the purchase. Due to the lack of clarity when using the app and services - I inadvertently purchased the same product the same services and duplicated all of the same information. The app/company has no recourse for this - no refund is offered when this occurs and due to the limited warnings of duplicate purchases - I almost purchased a third program without even realizing it. The app has very little clarity in the purchase process and even less in explaining no refunds are available- even though the company can see the duplicate purchase and no benefit to having purchased the product twice - more services were not offered but the exact same thing. I requested a refund for one duplicate account with the intention of keeping the original purchase and agreement to no avail. I have spent days trying to get a refund. Asking for a contact number to the corporate office and attempting to get a resolution with little support. I am asking for help in getting a refund for one purchase made in error.
I ordered 4 cameras from this company. Upon arrival one was broken, the others cannot be installed due to their incompatibility which was not indicated before purchase, but is acknowledged during installation. I requested a refund and emailed them within 2 weeks of receiving the cameras, but no response. I have contacted the company on six occasions via email, *** but they are not responding toy request.
I purchased a Life360 app to keep track of my family members. Somehow, a duplicate account of the app got setup on my phone with the app. I was unaware until it renewed, and immediately tried to contact Life360 for a refund. It renewed on August 24th of 2022 and I was unaware, as notice was sent. I contacted Life 360 numerous times starting on August 27th, and was unable to to reach anyone, and when I finally got through ( all this information to contact them is well hidden ) they informed me that no refunds are possible! It just renewed a few days ago! I feel these are really duplicitous business practices hiding information, not allowing access to customer care, for an erroneous account in the first place! I want a refund of the $99 renewal fee, as I never wanted this account in the first place, no notice was sent for renewal, and hiding information about this account and restricting access to the means of canceling it!
I received a text message from Life 360 on May 10, 2022 welcoming me back to life 360
I received a text message from Life 360 on May 10, 2022 welcoming me back to life 360. The text said if I was using a new phone to log out of the old phone so I could continue to use location sharing. I immediately contacted life 360 to inform them that I at no point signed up for their service and wanted this discontinued! I never authorized anyone to add me to life 360 plan nor was I notified and this appears to be fraudulent. I have been communicating with multiple representatives at life 360 for approximately two weeks and they have informed me they are unable to provide me any information about the account in order to protect the member. I was also told the account was most likely created in error but they would not tell me why they thought that. I am going through a divorce which has included multiple restraining orders and I still have safety concerns. The last thing I want is for him to know my location at any given time. My last message to life *** this matter. I have asked for someone to contact me by phone so this could be quickly resolved!I have been told multiple times they only conduct business through email. I let *** know I feel this is potentially serious enough to contact law enforcement to file a report. I really wish I could be helped at a lower level to find out who is involved and if it is not my spouse then I would not need to involve any other parties. The email I used to communicate with this company is:
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I received 3 emails from Life 360 dated March 21, 2022. 1) Ad for Life 360 Service, 2) a "payment receipt " (See upload) Receipt said price $0.00, FREE 3) An email (also on uploaded document) saying at some length that "It looks like you want to cancel your premium subscription" and that I had to contact them to avoid a $4.99/month charge.I never contacted these people, agreed to anything at all much less a premium subscription, and have not provided a credit card to them. This is a scam and needs to be stopped. I would never contact someone for any purpose in an unsolicited email to cancel something that I had not charged. It appears I can't be charged but companies should not be allowed to conduct "business" in this way. We have enough problems in the world without scams proliferating by folks who are trying to make a fast buck off of unwary consumers. Please investigate this fraudulent business activity.Summary:I DID NOT SIGN UP OR GIVE A CREDIT CARD TO THIS OUTFIT. i AM NOT GOING TO RISK CALLING THEM TO "CANCEL". THIS IS A SCAM. BBB: INVESTIGATE.
I wanted to get Life360 to keep up with my father since he has dementia and sometimes get lost. He went into the hospital and I put the app on my phone and his phone for when he got out I would know where he was, just in case. It said to pay $9.99 a month or $99 a year and I had to put my Credit card in before I could get the 7 day free trial. So I did , in the meantime my dad went to a nursing home so I got in Touch with them to cancel since I didnt need it now. They said I didnt have a subscription that I was using the free part. So I said to myself maybe its because Im in The free trial. So i get on my bank account one day and they charged me $9.99. I emailed them and they gave me Instructions on how to cancel a subscription. I couldnt find anywhere that said I had a subscription and even on the App Store it said I didnt have subscription but yet I was charged for it! I emailed them again and they said they couldnt find where I had subscription and to get in touch with iTunes or Apple. I cant figure out how to get I touch with anyone. Iv sent many emails to Life360 and cant get any answers on canceling my subscription since they say I dont have anything to cancel. My next thing is to close my card and get a new one. I called my bank and they said they couldnt do a stop payment on a reoccurring account., I had to get a whole new card number. Now Im wondering if a hacker did this on the Apple app. Is there something you can do to help me?
I signed up for the free trial and tried canceling before i was going to be charged but I couldn't find it in my subscriptions and I was still charged almost ***. I sent them a request for my money back on a Friday Jun 17th the same day they charged me and it is now Jun 29 almost 2 weeks later when they said it would be refunded in 7 days. I just want my money back for this horrible scam service.
Tile
Do not buy from this company. I placed an order on 2/16 my mistake. I immediately contacted the company via chat and they would not help me. She said they were having system maintenance and were unable to cancel my order. It was lunchtime on a Friday. No way were they having system maintenance during the day on a Friday. I'm in IT and no legitimate company does this. They told me that I would have to return it and wait for the refund. I told them it was unacceptable and that I needed to talk to someone. They said there was no way to call them. She finally said she could schedule a call for the 17th, but that wouldn't work because it will ship today. I've tried to find a phone number for anyone, even the corporate office, and it's impossible. I see here that they have never responded to any of the complaints, so that tells you how much they care about their customers. Terrible company.
Claimed loss: $90
Desired outcome: Cancel my order

I found a phone number on the Life360 website in the help section (still impossible to contact the Tile company, but Life360 bought Tile a few years ago). I called it a couple of times and it rings once, then disconnects.
Phone support: Life360 customer support also offer phone support. The phone number is [protected](subscription queries). The line is active during regular working hours, Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time.

Very difficult/impossible to cancel
when you try to cancel on the website, it will tell you that you must cancel on the platform with which you registered (if you can remember!) you Should be able to cancel on website or app. there is No number or email on website to contact anyone. I am assuming my only option is to cancel my credit card and get a new one in order to stop my payments. I would not trust this company ( I am cancelling because I bought the Tile to go along with the app so I could track my elderly mother and the Tile never worked)
Claimed loss: one month of membership, price of tile which never worked
Desired outcome: just wat my membership canceled
APP
I have used their App for over 2 years - I cant afford a new phone - I have an I-phone 6 and it is IOS up to date
Life360 allowed me to "download an older version" of their App for a very long time - and I even had a silver paid membership for a year - on very same i-phone -
NOW I CANT RE-DOWNLOAD their App - forcing me out of using it ...
WHY ?
Life360
They wont give you the option to start your membership immediately. They only offer a 7 day trial first and you cant use alot of the options like road side assistance nor get in touch with customer service outside their m-f schedule until its over. So if you started it on saturday like i did you cant tell them to give up the trial and charge your card until your 7 days os up
Desired outcome: Give the option to not have to go through the 7 day trial.
life 360
I've been a member for years. It amazes me how increasingly complicated it is to reach them since they have become successful. I have two people on my account. myself and my husband. This morning, he let me know he couldn't access app. I could not believe the idiotic list of help articles I would've had to wade through to make sense of what to do with my problem. FORGET customer service. It no longer exists with these people. I propose we the people get together and form our own service. I am thourghly p.o.
Desired outcome: Response and action to resolve complaint
Complaint
This is too long to describe and I am tired of retyping everything and working on this issue for over two hours to no avail. I need to talk to a live person as there is a dispute over the charge for upgrading & I already have an account and rhey are requesting all this info they already have, I can't use life 360 without this help and my husbands account was gone on his phone and we are unable to re put in his info so he can use it too,
Don’t stand behind their plan benefits
Company does not stand behind their benefits! My son was the victim of a robbery which included our vehicle, his phone and his wallet. With our Gold membership we should be eligible for a $250 protection. I emailed as required. Took them days to respond (after more follow up emails from me) with the claim form. Filled the form out and sent the CAD police report I was able to obtain. Again days go by and they tell me they need the full police report. Immediately responded that the full police report isn't available due to this being an ongoing robbery investigation. Gave them the name and all contact info for the detective on the case so they could verify. Continue to get the same canned response from Life360 customer service that they need the full police report and it has to be received within 15 days of the phone being stolen. Asked for the name and phone number of a supervisor. 3 days later I get a call on my cell phone with NO CALLER ID. It's Life360. Go back and forth with this "supervisor" saying he's sorry but there's nothing he can do that they need the full police report and it needed to be within 15 days. Asked to speak to someone higher up and he said there's no one higher than him and he needs to follow their policy. Explained that my son was a victim of a crime and I will get them the full police report as soon as the investigation is over. Told them this wasn't a simple "someone stole my phone from my locker" situation. Told him I'm sure he has the power to make a note in the file that the police report will be provided as soon as it's available to be released. He absolutely would not do this. IT'S OBVIOUS LIFE360 doesn't want to stand behind their product and plan benefits. It's beyond unfortunate that a victim of a crime is further punished because it is not possible to get the police report. LIFE360 should be ashamed. And I find it very interesting the supervisor called from NO CALLER ID. It is clear this company wants no actual contact with it's customers as you cannot find a phone number anywhere. So frustrating and defeating.
Desired outcome: I request that Life360 keep this file open until the criminal investigation is complete, the full police report is made available and I can get it to them. I want them to stand behind our plan’s $250 stolen phone protection.
Customer Service - LACK of Live Chat or Call in Support
The fact that this company only allows you to submit a ticket and you always get a standard FAQ back is simply frustrating. The feedback is always one email and done and no way to interact by replying or talking with someone. Their product services availability and reliability is spotty to say the least, one day a feature works and next not, and I spend hours trying to fix it myself and sometimes it resolves the next day. Not want to leave without noting the 48 hr outage without notification that left most parents worrying and little response on that as well. Just a note after doing an online ticket - oh sorry we had an outage should be back up maybe in 48 hours. Not proactive at all. I am very close to cancelling; this product and company could be great with an investment in real customer service vs Bots. They say they have chat - but no- it's just a bot too that submits a ticket.
Desired outcome: better customer service and live/chat interaction with customer
Complaint
Stop working for 7 hours. Send note to customer service but I was told to wait 24h?
No phone to call. Life 360 is not working with my x’ circle and I am paying for that. My child start driving today. If something happens to him, you will hear from my lawyer

Fix life 360
Give me free service for the inconvenience
Have a customer service we can call
Life360
I can’t access my account on my son’s phone and there isn’t a customer service representative to talk to to get help. I keep trying to change my password and nothing is working. I have looked online for a phone number to call and the numbers listed are no longer in service. With the amount of money I spent on this service, there should be a phone number to call to resolve issues. I will tell everyone that I know how crappy Life 360 is and that they refuse to offer assistance to their customers who have problems that need to be resolved l.
Desired outcome: Want this resolved.
Random Subscription Billing
My son told me about life360 so we can stay connected, he downloaded the app on my phone but we never set it up & I NEVER used it. Two days ago there was a pending charge on my account for GOOGLE life360 in the sum of $108.24. I was, & still am, dumbfounded. I never put in my card, never opted for a plan, never even started the free trial. I contacted my bank & they said that I will have to contact life360. I sent an email, they said they had no record of my email address being associated with them. They told me to look in the 'payment & subscriptions' part of my google profile to cancel the subscription, but guess what? I don't have a subscription so there's nothing for me to cancel. Again, I email them back trying to find out how this happened, & again, they tell me that if I am being billed through Google I have to reach out to Google Wallet. But I am not being billed through Google. I never got a bill, I don't have a receipt, just this charge! I have never had something like this happen to me before, just a random charge from Google for a service I did not select? I wish I could call them. Like, someone took my money, someone has a record of accepting it, who was it? This app sucks & this company needs to be seriously reigned in, or I guess closed down.
Desired outcome: I want my money back. I want you to delete my info from your data servers.
Life 360 Membership
I have tried more than once to cancel my Life 360 membership due to it not working on our phones. I continue to be billed for the service (which we are not even able to use) after I have followed the necessary steps to cancel my subscription. I called the ph # listed in the contact information on their website, but was not able to reach anyone due to it being a fax number. This has been very frustrating, and I would not recommend the service to others.
Desired outcome: Would like to have membership canceled and no longer receive a bill for it.
Life360 Incorrect information like phone calls received
Life 360 causes horrible problems when inaccurate information shows up on my account. My husband thinks I received a phone call from someone (a man) that I don't even know. I was on my way home from picking up food for the evening, and just before arriving home, Life 360 shows that I was on the phone with someone, but I did not receive a call. I was not on my phone. How does this happen? The phone call was not even listed on my calls list, but my husband thinks I am lying.
Desired outcome: I would like an explanation of how this happens, and an apology.
Life 360
I thought I was being charged $4.99 per month for the service and was charged $49.99 per month. The service was also not what I thought it was supposed to be. I only wanted a GPS service. I was mislead. Funds were taken from my account on 4-9-21. I want my money. I have spent hours emailing this organization with no replies and am very frustrated. I want my money back. Can Anyone tell me how to get my money back?
Desired outcome: $49.99
I have also been trying to discontinue my membership. It is very misleading, does NOT work, and I have not been able to contact anyone from the company due to the phone numbers being inaccurate and "no longer in service.' Yet I keep getting charged every month. Very frustrating!

I upgraded my subscription from Free to Silver Plan in July 2019. I paid for it is full. Despite all efforts to email or call them I get told I have no account with them. I do and it is still operational. Now I am being billed for the Gold plan which I do not want and am being charged $10.81 per month. I do no want this plan and have disputed this charge with by bank. I am unable to reach anyone at the Google service line as instructed and am told that due to the pandemic they have a reduced staff and no one is there.
Desired outcome: Delete charges for Gold charge in 01-18-2021 and change my plan back to Silver
App life360

My wife is accusing me of possibly cheating on her because the app showed me magically flying to an apartment complex that I have never been to several miles away and magically flying back. I was at my office the entire day and never left until my drive home in the evening. What causes your app to do this. This isn't the first time that is showed one of our family members at a location temporarily and then back to their actual location. Once again, what causes your app to make this kind of mistake?
Well apparently, my bf can now walk on water and back in the middle of the night. He is a little freaked out thinking he is sleep-walking, however, he did wake up dry!
Wish I knew cause I recently had this same experience with my husband
I have had life360 for a year. I have never seen it make this type of mistake ever. If your wife suspects you are cheating on her that has literally nothing to do with this company. I hope you can work it out.
The app showed my son was at an apartment about a half mile away from church where he was supposed to be. When I found him, he was in fact at the church. It has also changed my arrival time to work on occasion. Most recently it recorded me as showing up at 10:26am which was correct for that day. Later in the afternoon it showed that I had been at work since 1:30pm. My wife took a screenshot and sent it to me. I checked and sure enough, it said at work since 1:30pm. When I got home it reverted back to a 10:26am arrival time. This is a problem. It does not look good when my wife checks on me and I arrived at work 3 hours after I left home when my commute is 40 minutes.
About Life360
The app also offers driving safety support, giving insights into driving behavior and providing crash detection with emergency response services. Life360's plans come in different tiers, including a free version with basic features and paid subscriptions that offer more advanced capabilities like roadside assistance, travel support, and identity theft protection.
The service is built around the concept of a "Circle," which is a private group that users create for their family or friends. Within this Circle, members can communicate through the app, receive notifications when someone arrives at or leaves a designated location, and access the aforementioned safety features.
Life360 aims to provide peace of mind to families by helping them stay informed about each other's whereabouts and well-being, especially in emergency situations. The app is available on both iOS and Android platforms, making it accessible to a wide range of smartphone users.
