I used them a few times to screen my new tenants and applicants. It was pretty easy and smooth. No problems at all.

I used SingleKey with a few possible renters and it's super helpful to screen and okay tenants. Their rental guarantee program gives me peace of mind against missed rents and tenant damage claims. Lots of landlords I know also use SingleKey and they love it.

I'm using SingleKey's "RentGauarantee" service and my tenant told me they want to break the lease
I'm using SingleKey's "RentGauarantee" service and my tenant told me they want to break the lease. I didn't want to do anything wrong, so I reached out to the company a bunch of times. They never answer the phone and when they finally emailed me back, they sent me a form for Canada. I tried to file a claim on the USA Financial Services website, but I couldn't find anything about SingleKey. They've been charging me every month for a year and I haven't gotten anything in return. I don't even know if my claim went through, but the Cheif Commercial Officer was on the email!

I opted for SingleKey for tenant checks and got their Rental Insurance from a provider. They sent a docusign contract for $600, then upped it to $921 without explanation. Post-signing, all documents were deleted, preventing review. I inquired about lease failure, and was told the contract starts post-signing. However, my lease collapsed as the tenant cited safety issues. I informed the provider on Jan 28th and reconfirmed on Jan 31st about the non-signing tenant. Despite this, SingleKey persists in billing me $921 and now a monthly $113.52.

I signed up with Singlekey for Rent Collection cuz someone told me to. My tenant gave them all the stuff they asked for on time. They took the rent outta my tenant's account on time on February 15th but they still haven't put it in my account. I emailed and talked to customer service a bunch of times and they said there was a problem with the system (they switched to a new one) and all the transactions from February 15th on were messed up. But they still took the money from my tenant's account on time! They keep saying my transaction is "in progress" and first they said it would take 3-5 business days, then they said it would take an extra day cuz of a long weekend (Monday February 20th was a holiday in Ontario), then they said I'd get the rent by the end of the week (February 24th), and now they're saying they don't know when I'll get it cuz they're doing it "manually". That doesn't make sense and I asked for a manager to call me and tell me when I'll get my rent but nobody's called me back yet.

I applied for SingleKey Rent Guarantee insurance program again in December 2022. The SingleKey employee confirmed the yearly price of $1242 via email. They also said that the unused portion of the previous year's Rent Guarantee insurance for $110 would be credited to my account and used for next year's payment. However, no invoice was sent to me by the end of 2022. In January 2023, I contacted SingleKey again about payment and finally received an invoice. But the amount of $1320 didn't match the promises made earlier. I contacted SingleKey again, and they told me to pay the full amount and promised to process a credit back to my original payment method for the refund I was requesting. After I paid, SingleKey stopped responding to me and ignored my attempts to contact them. They seem more interested in stealing money from customers than building long-term relationships. Additionally, SingleKey forgot its promise of two free credit checks for clients of Rent Guarantee program. I request a refund of $244.48, including $78 for the offered discount price, $110 for the unused month of Rent Guarantee, and $56.48 for the Credit Check refund for current tenants.
