I would give 0 stars if I could. I paid $149 for a dryer that I don't use everyday. A year and a half later, the wiring was faulty and exploded and gave me a 2nd degree burn on my forearm. THANK GOODNESS IT WASN'T MY FACE. I thought the LEAST they could do was refund my credit card. They apologized for the inconvenience and said NO REFUND, they could only replace the dryer. INCONVENIENCE, was such a poor choice of words by April, in customer service. I wish I could post pictures of what my arm looks like and the burnt, split wire.

This company has the worst customer service ever
This company has the worst customer service ever. 5 tries to get them to honor their return. You spend 10 minutes on the phone with a representative with no authority to help with a legitimate guaranteed return. They then need to find one of 3 supervisors to help - Ralph, Janice or Julie - who are never available. They then promise resolution, a call back or email that never happens you chase them down and the routine begins again. I now need to file a credit card claim, because after 5 tries, I'm out of the return period. Rrturn policy is a scam.

Service was excellent! I did not receive the hair dryer on the day expected. I called SRI and they were very helpful in tracking down the hair dryer. I was able to get it at the Post Office before it was shipped back to SRI.
I contacted customer service via email to make sure the hair dryer I purchased was ok to use on gray hair. I explained that in 4 uses over an 11 day period, my hair seemed dry and frizzy. Customer service replied instantly and said it was fine for gray hair but reminded me different hair (people) has different needs. They said I had a 60 day return period to decide if I wanted to return and gave me exact date. They were very helpful and I appreciated it.

This company is terrific.. The product that I purchased from SRI was Renew Glow.. I am a cancer survivor, I'm so happy to say. When I had chemotherapy my hair was falling out so my long hair was cut super short to try and hide the bald spots. However, I was searching for a vitamin to help restore my hair growth and replenish my body with nutrient and I was fortunate enough to find Renew Glow. Renew Glow is the best product I've used..My hair grew back alot healthier and faster. This product also helped my skin and nails tremendously.. Thank you SRI for creating a terrific product

I purchased the Infrarose Curler from the Skin Research Institute. The curler is very nice, with a temp readout , soft handle and sturdy swivel cord. For me that was the main selling point, to save time. Not only does the SRI straightener work just going over the hair once, but my hair ends up very straight and super soft, even when used with product in my hair. This is a salon level straightener in my opinion. I also received the item quickly and with good communication confirming my order and when it shipped. I am very happy with my decision to upgrade.
I had an issue because I didn't properly put the shipping address correctly for a purchase I sent as a gift . I have great praise for the Renew Glow Vitamins. I received excellent customer service regarding my questions about the product from Ann. As a woman of color, growing my hair has been a challenge. Choosing a great product can very complicated but the vitamins does what is advertised. Taking these vitamins has helped my hair grow from above my shoulders to down my back. My hair is healthy and long, my skin is glowing and my nails are long and strong. I am a regular customer!

Great product and customer service! I bought the hairdryer from this company and it was excellent! I say this because it has a magnificent heat protective setting/feature that does not cause hair breakage. Also, the customer service was excellent! I dealt with a Monica, the assistant team leader from the customer success team. I mean she was so so nice! She showed compassion, follow-up with me, and just made sure that I was satisfied with the product. I would definitely do business again with this company. I hope this post helps you customers out there to make that comfortable decision to purchase their good quality products!

They call you back days later to say my order is on back order and they are going to "upgrade" me to a different flat iron and it will be shipped that day... Still waiting! Called again and had to leave a message again they called to tell me my order is on back order. I emailed them a week ago and I am still waiting as of 06/15/2050 for a response. Bad customer service! I should have just ordered someplace else and been done with it now I have to fight to get my money back! UGH!

This is extremely important to me because I reached out to cancel my order even before I received it due to unforeseen circumstances. My issue was addressed extremely quick. The company offered a generous addition discount knowing I liked their product to see if they could help me fulfill the order. Unfortunately, I still needed to cancel and their customer service team provided a full refund within 24 hours. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you are researching and thinking about purchasing from this company, I'd highly recommend you do so. I intend to do so as well as soon as circumstances allow.

I really like this dryer - it's quiet and dries my hair much more quickly than my previous one. After a short while using it (within the 60-day return window and well within the 1yr warranty), the motor died on me. Given the relative infrequency of similar incidents being described in the reviews I'm assuming I just got unlucky - it was working quite well before this happened and most reviewers have been using it much longer than I. It happens, and I'm usually not upset about these kinds of things as long as it's taken care of. Customer service responded quickly - a new dryer is on the way and I received a prepaid shipping label for my original dryer, so all it cost was a little bit of time.

They certainly took my money, but there's no way to track the order on their website. And they notified me that the item had shipped, but the tracking number link, which says is Newgistics Parcel, takes me to a website called Hermes, "the parcel people." NEVER HEARD OF THEM. And the tracking number provided by Skin Research Institute is 26 characters long; however, when I put that into the tracking box on Hermes, it says it's too long - that it can only be 16 characters long. I've tried to email them several times to no avail. SURE WISH I'd checked out ComplaintsBoard.com before I made this purchase. I guess my $125 dollars is GONE. What a bummer. I despise companies that rip people off - especially those of us who work HARD for our money!

I love the products, but the shipping time was horrendous (on the straightener) and the ordering process was very confusing. All in all, I ended up spending over $200 on 4 products--which I thought I was getting for $179. I guess not a big deal in the end since the products are so good. I thought I would go crazy waiting for the straightener to arrive--it took a month. I think they were waiting for one to be returned (what?!?) When the products arrived, it was obvious to me that these had been returns from dissatisfied customers which did not make me happy AT ALL. The boxes had been tampered with, and the product was obviously repackaged. I've had the products for a little over a month now, and I am happy. They are very good salon quality, and the straightener is the best I have ever used. If the company gets their act together on their marketing, order process, and shipping---they will have a good thing going.

Do not order from this co. they use deceptive selling practices. hile going thru ordering process for 2 bottles of their product, they flashed all kinds of other products OVER the whole screen, including a tempting offer for 4 bottles at half price. I thought I was just looking at it, but it quickly ADDED it to my order and IMMEDIATELY FINALIZED the order, bringing the total from $68.00 to $160.00. I immediately sent an eMail to SRI to cancel total order and, since I was using PayPal, I copied this eMail to them. PayPal honored my request, but SRI ignored it. Instead SRI confirmed order 2 hrs.later, which I again cancelled telling them I will refuse acceptance if it arrives. But they proceeded to send it anyway- evidenced by their "noreply-your order has shipped by USPS" which arrived in my email in-box this morning. I will refuse acceptance when it gets here. What a SCAM! which may not be the end of the saga - what a hassle.

If I could give them a minus I would. I was placing an order for a blow dryer and another offer popped up. I was interrupted with a call from my credit card company verifying my purchase. I didn't read the fine print and pressed the purchase button thinking I was finalizing by purchase of the blow dryer and then a screen popped up that said I also purchase the product that popped up. I immediately looked for a phone number to cancel the unwanted purchase and there wasn't one. The only contact info was a email address. I emailed them to cancel but never heard back. Then I got a email that my order was being processed and it had a customer service number. I called that number and was put through to someone trying to sell me a life alert. I stated I wasn't interested but she just kept going on and on. So I hung up. I am now trying to cancel the whole order. We will see what happens. I think this company is a scam. BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased a flat iron as a gift
I purchased a flat iron as a gift. When I needed t return the flat iron because of change in hair needs, Ralph was awesome.
He took the time to here why I needed to return the item, and offered a discount of $40 should I want to keep it.
When I declined he cheerfully explained that I would receive an email providing the necessary steps to follow in returning the item.
We discussed the need for outstanding customer service relationship and respect to the customer when a need or problem arose.
He said something that I Will remember and take to heart in the future. He said, "we all are customers at some point in our lives. As so we should all practice good relations."
I was so impressed with Ralph's outlook I decided to keep the flat iron for myself and give the product a try. And also to take advantage of the $40 markdown.

Do not buy from Skin Research Institute unless you want a fraud case on your hands. I entered an order for 2 jars of collagen tablets for about $67 the evening of June 15, and then entered my credit card number as asked. A response came up inviting me to order instead four jars for a discounted price of $80, I placed the order for that, and immediately the message "this window does not exist" came up. This was an instant red flag, and I immediately clicked off. A few minute later I received an order confirmation for approximately double the $80 order that I thought I had placed--the plus the original two-jar order that I thought I was replacing. I immediately responded to that email with a request to cancel the entire order--their customer phone service was closed for the night. I called early the following morning and was told that the cancellation was too late, and that the order had gone out. I no longer want to even try this product because of the way the company deals. In short, they have an excellent ComplaintsBoard.com rating, and shouldn't, based on how their misleading, fraudulent on-line practices. .

When the item arrived i realized that i really did not need it and I IMMEDIATELY sent an email asking to return it. April the sales person right away offered that if i kept the dryer they would issue a $50.00 credit to use toward another product which i didn't want or need at the time so I just asked for some kind of discount fee to return it! That was declined in an long drawn out explanation how they do not charge for shipping out SO THAT WAS the deal! Most companies do not charge for shipping out when the item is over $ 100 but they almost always offer free or discounted return shipping! I spent over 125.00 for the item so i found that answer unacceptable and certainly not customer friendly! I proceeded RIGHT AWAY to mail back the pkg and the fee was just under 40.00 which was absurd to me. I unhappily paid it and then immediately emailed the company and told them that it was mailed back but it set me back bc i am a senior with limited spending. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT AFTER SHE KNEW THAT IT WAS MAILED BACK , SHE THEN OFFERED A RETURN LABEL? I saved the emails to show my senior community! she KNOWINGLY MADE THAT OFFER "AFTER" THE ITEM WAS MAILED BACK bc she had my email saying that it was already mailed back. THIS COMPANY stands out as NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY and from reading other reviews (ALTHOUGH TOO LATE for me), so many others have had negative experiences with them also. I will not let this sit as i will tell my community of over 400 about my experience. It will be in the newsletter but it will also go out via blog to the other sr communities in bucks county PA!

No updates on items purchased almost three weeks ago. Also charged for shipping when FAQ states that two items or more would be free. Purchased two items, ( 1 Claymeric Daily Cleanser - 1 Bottle (Special Offer) 27.99 CLAYMERIC-X1-FTCon + 1 Claymeric Daily Cleanser - 2 Bottles (Special Offer) 39.99 CLAYMERIC-X2-UP1), May 12th equalling to $78.69. It has been nearly three weeks with no updates or status on the items. I have emailed the company directly on their website with no reply. I was also charged for shipping and handling when the FAQ states that purchases of two items or more would not be charged for S/H. At this point I doubt the shipping process has even begun and I would no longer like to receive the delivery of said items and would like a full refund.

Once I received them I started taking the vitamins every day it has been about 2 months now and I did not notice any difference at all. I went to the website to research some more to see when I should see results. I read between 4-6 weeks. At that point I decided to contact the company and inform them that the product just wasn't working for me. I went back and forth through email with customer service. First let me say that the web page advertises 90 Day No Risk Money Back Guarantee. It has not been 90 days since I purchased them. However, you will find another part on the site that advertised 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee and that if you are unsatisfied by the results of RenewGlow for any reason, that they purchase will give you a refund, no matter how much you used with no hassle or no questions asked. When I contacted the company they told me to send all 3 bottles back. I explained more than once that I did not have 3 bottles because I had taken 2 months already! I was offered to keep the product and they would refund me 25% of the purchase price. The purchase for 3 bottles was almost $100.00. Once again I explained that I had taken the vitamins and had already gone through 2 bottles and had no results. They kept insisting that I send back all three bottles in order to get a full refund. After I explained it several times that I had taken two months worth and only had the remainder of the third bottle which I was choosing to no longer take due to the fact that they were not doing anything for me! I wouldn't mind sending this back on any normal day. However after reading the reviews it seems as if this isn't the first time they have not treated customers well. My customer service experience with SRI was beyond superb! I purchased the 5 attachment blower brush some time ago and love it. My request was if I could purchase a replacement for the one brush I use most frequently as it's showing some wear. Mico responded letting me know that they didn't sell replacement parts, however, he investigated and found that I was within the warranty period and they could send me a total replacement! Customer service is awesome! Checked with me after I had been looking at the new blow dryer. So personal and ready to answer sny questions. I have only had for a week and already love my blow dryer. It is so light and easy to pack. My hair has looked so much better just the few times I have dryer.
