I work for door dash and when I came to get the order, which they took almost 5 minutes before they responded, then it took almost 15 more minutes before it was brought out. She said I forgot a cup holder. I have so much on my mind being the only hop. I told her I need the cup holder and that I'd pull up by the door so it's not to much trouble. She just...

I visited a Sonic location and was ecstatic to as I am a fan of the desserts. As I was ordering, I ask do you have strawberry ice cream? I am told yes so I say ok let me have strawberry ice cream with hot fudge syrup. Fine. The order comes out and it is incorrect. I was given strawberry milkshake with hot fudge. I informed the employee who went in to...

I’m complaining about a manager from the sonic drive in in Stilwell ok. I order three medium butterfinger blast and one Oreo blast and I find something orange looking in my Oreo blast. I don’t know if it was butterfinger pieces mixed in with my Oreo blast or not. I’m allergic to peanut butter and nuts. So I went back to sonic and had a manager come out to look at the blast that she made and she said it was a small m&m and I told her I didn’t trust it and I didn’t ask for m&m’s in my blast. I asked for Oreo blast so she snatched the blast out of my hand and she made another one but she only took the out the m&m part and added more ice cream and Oreo and but she didn’t go far enough down to get the rest of the m&ms out. She should of threw out the ice cream out and made a brand new one. And this is a manager doing this. Come on now surely someone can get it right.
Desired outcome: I want to get what I ask for and not anything extra
Product and service
On 4/19/23 around 5:00 pm, I placed an online order. 1 large unsweet tea x ice, 1 large unsweet tea reg ice and 2 large sweet teas. I had 2 stops to make before getting home went to give out the teas and all were sweet except for the 1. And the sweet teas were just sugar water basically with hardly any sugar. When I had pulled to the window the girl had asked and said oh you are ?, and I said yes as she chuckled. Point of this is that about 3 weeks ago I had to file a complaint for a refund because I placed an online order and once I had arrived sat there for about 10 minutes until someone came out to let me know that they were out of tea. I said ok, so you will get tea in tomorrow? They said they have tea but they ran out and didn't want to make anymore because they were going to close in an hour an 10 minutes and if they don't sell it will have to throw it out. I said excuse me? Then refund my money please. He went in got the manager and she came out and told me they couldn't cause I ordered on the app and got hateful with me. Since then I have only gone in twice of an evening and every time they see it is me they all come to the window to look and then I am afraid they will spit in my drinks. How does a whole staff know about a complaint and why am I a target for these young kids? I am completely done with this store! 95% of the time you can't even use the stall to order because there are signs on all of them saying drive thru only! I have been going to this Sonic a lot longer than these people have been working there. Think that their District and Area Manager actually needs to step up and do something about the store!
Desired outcome: Would love to see Upper Management actually take action. How about they actually go by different times a day on different days and see outside how things are there and then clean up the inside crew.
Window person
The reason Sonic takes so freaking long is cause they have workers sitting at the window playing with legos like that’s more important than their job been sitting here 10mins. Tell me why I get to the window and I give the girl my card and she closes the window and I looked over at her and she threatens to spit in my drink loud enough where I can hear her to the other employees like is [censored]ing funny so I called manager and I tell them and their excuses. Oh they’re just kids no absolutely not. Her name is joana atleast that’s what she said.
Desired outcome: I want her fired!
Wrong order/hostile attitude when trying to correct
I made a large order today at the Sonic location 4140 E Kiehl Ave, Sherwood, AR 72120. There were five vehicles in the parking lot, to include mine. They initially tried to bring me the wrong order, which I told them that was not the right order. When they did bring me the correct order, they did not include a sausage/egg/cheese biscuit that I had ordered and was charged for. I tried to contact the staff via the red intercom button for approximately 5 minutes and finally walked into the store. I told the “gentleman” working there that I had tried to call via the intercom and that I need either my order corrected or the money back for that item. He said he would give me money back while cursing, (using language to include the “F” word, “MF” etc.). I told him I was not cursing and he really should calm down, in which he replied “I don’t give a “F”. He would not stop cursing and throwing a fit, so I left without my refund to diffuse the situation. I still have my receipt, and Sonic owes me $4.19 plus the applicable tax that was paid. Also, I suggest you implement anger management training as well as workplace violence training so coworkers will be able to identify the warning signs of a deranged worker.
Onion rings, chili cheese coney
My onion rings were old and it seemed like they had been redunked in the grease to ever be reheated. My chili dog was cold in the middle actually cold all over but ice cold in the middle. The chili was so cold my cheese wasn't even melt I ordered it with mustard onion and don't know why but they put left mustard for three of them on the very top of it and got all over the packaging all of my hands and they didn't seem like they give it crap about their customers there it's three employees sitting around a table when we pulled in they were still sitting there when we left. I'm sure my husband's just a nicer person than I am I've worked in food service too long and I'm way too picky because I've been a dietary manager in a nursing home and I've also ran a Burger King for 4 or 5 years so I know how to run a restaurant and I know that I do not allow my employees to serve food like that cuz it's a reflection on us I will not be coming back to this location but if you would like to hire me to show your people what to do and how to be more cleanly I can do that but they'll probably all quit when I get a hold of them cuz they're lazy bunch of lazy kids is all you have there
Desired outcome: Your whole crew needs to learn how to change fried grease and serve fresh food to give your customers excellent service for they will want to return I don't even know how you have any business
Wasted parking spaces/inactive stalls
please, please, please supply your locations with colorful peel & stick linear banners (same length & width as the sides of your stall video menus that face incoming traffic. the banners should read "mobile order pickup" and be affixed to non-working video menus until the stalls are repaired...then peeled off and thrown away. that way sonic does not waste available customer parking for a space where customers cannot place an order...and sonic does not continue to make point-of-purchase customers mad when they pull into a stall where the ordering system is out of order (sometimes for an extended period). with each non-working stall clearly marked for convenience of order ahead pickup, the customer not ordering ahead knows to avoid that space, or at least has no one to blame (but themselves) for not reading the banner. right now, multiple sonic locations force customers to pull into "dead" stalls, from the line of traffic behind them, only to sit and wait till traffic clears, because they had no warning that the numbered stall was out of service. this is a universal problem, i have noticed, because i eat at a sonic somewhere everyday, sometimes twice a day. go sonic!
Desired outcome: WIN/WIN
Quality of food and the customer service
Whom It May Concern, My name is john steward, and I placed a Door Dash Order from 4810 Wilson Rd, Humble, TX 77396. (store 5665) , and the order was horrible. I order a sonic combo, tots, w/ rt 44 large cherry limeade, a sonic cheeseburger combo, tots w/ rt 44 tea, and a med cheddar peppers. first of all, I understand that yall have no control over door dash drivers, but I took the food back to the location asking for a manager so I could have the food re-made. When I arrived I spoke with two employees by the name of Iyanna & shamara they advised me that they were on a break but they didn't mind getting the manager for men so Ms. Shamara went into the restaurant to get the manager , and that when another young lady came out that wasn't the manager and tried to give me a bunch of rebuttals speak, and once I asked her do she taste test before servicing the community, and she stated that she doesn't drink sprite.I had to stop her and let her know that as a manager I would want to make sure that taste the product first, and that when she walked out my face and told Trinity you can handle this mess. Yes, I called her stupid and that was when trinity tried to snatch my receipt out of my hand and stated that she wasn't going to re-make an order and I can take it up with door dash. That when a gentleman came out by the name of Derrick (a very Very awesome man ) came out and sat with the other two employees Iyanna & Shamara they told him the situation and he went out of his way to re-make the orders just to deescalate the situation Because I was literally pissed that this child tried to snatch something out my had that she wasn't trying to fix but take my only proof of purchase and do god knows with it. Those 3 individuals can tell you the truth about the matter because they are the ones who gave me names while the other female employee(no name tag) kept telling them yall don't have to talk to him yall on break. I'll never go back to that location because it ran by a bunch of unmanned kids
Desired outcome: It doesn't matter because the situation will always remain the same. The second lady that came out in the red (I sent pic of her) should never have come out when I asked for a manager knowing she isn't a manager
Below standard food
Around 5pm I went to Sonic to order food for my family. When we got home and settled to eat. The food was a disappointment. It was very poorly made not ar all at SONIC standards. The meat was dry the mayonnaise was no existent, very little lettuce (like 2 pieces) one soggy tomato and 2 pickles. It looks like a McDonald's kids burger...McDonald's burgers look better then what we got. For the money we spent ($50.00) THIS WAS AWFUL! SO SAD. I called and spoke to the assistant manager on duty she apologized and said she would talk to the kitchen staff.
She offed to replace the food if we would go back and return all the food. I explained I didn't want to have to take the food away from ours kids and pack everything up excluding the kids and head back up there to return the food then have to wait for it to be re made and come home. It's to much of a hassle.
Desired outcome: We want all the burgers remade, or a refund.
Cold food/ rude employee
We went this morning to grab some breakfast first of all the girl taking orders in the drive thru had a bad attitude since the beginning of taking our order. Second she had us the food close the window in our face we wanted to ask for some hot sauce seen us there and ignored us. Third the tater tots were cold the hot dog bun was cold! This is ridiculous that food was unbeatable I went there to spend my money not to get treated poorly and receiving cold food that could of giving us food poisoning
Desired outcome: I want a refund of course an it’s obvious we deserve an apology
Coworkers
I work at the Kingfisher, Oklahoma location. I woke up Tuesday morning with a migraine. I sent a text to the manager on duty to let her know that I wasn't feeling well. The GM, Shane called me anyway. He told awhile back that I could get on the computer to check and make sure that I'm not short in my wallet. He failed to let the manager on duty know. She was very rude when she saw what I was doing. She told me that I wasn't allowed to do that. I told her that I had permission from Shane. A few minutes later, Katrina, (Lindsay's daughter) said "Mom, I need to make a drop." Lindsay turned around and handed Katrina her Manager's card. I asked to speak with LIndsey and said that what she was doing was wrong and that she shouldn't be playing favorite's. We got into a heated discussion in which she called Shane. Lindsay told me to be quiet and do my or clock out and go home. I chose to count down what I had in my wallet. She called Shane and told him. He then called me on the business phone and asked me to stay until 8 pm. When I confronted him on the phone with what he had previously told me, he said that it was up to the manager on duty, that Katrina was Lindsay's daughter, and that I needed "to walk on eggshells around Lindsay." I told him that I would not do that with anyone. I also believe that a few of my coworkers are being shorted on their hours and pay. I can be reached by phone at [protected], if you have any questions. This happened on Tuesday, February 20, 2023.
Thank You,
Priscilla
Max / taking orders
2/12/2013. 12:30ish Max was taking my order & I was trying to tell him to please make sure that my hamburger was well done, he said they are always well done, I said but they aren’t, So make it extra well done please! Read full review of Sonic Drive-InStolen funds at drive through
I visited sonic drive through and paid with my visa prepaid card. The cashier left the window with my card and came back 3 minutes later. There was a $80 on that card after I spent $6.48. Within a day and half the remaining funds were wiped from my card and nothing is being done. Sonic hires thieves! People who don’t know how to work for their own money
Desired outcome: I’d like to be reimbursed the $80 that YOUR employee stole from me.
Milkshakes, tater tots
I am very very disappointed in sonic I eat there a lot and the last few times I have ate there it has not been worth eating, a matter of fact I have throwed it away because I could not eat it, I asked for a thick thick milk shake and what I got was water like milk shake it was so thin and it hadn't happen once it has happened three times, and for the tater tots they had so much salt on them that all I could eat was one or two and the chicken sandwich was cold and they put things on it that I had asked for it to be left off that has happened three times as well, I like eating at sonic so much but I am so disappointed
No food or refund
1/18/23 at 10:40 am I ordered food on the mobile app. I called at 11:00 am to request my refund because the Sonic location was not open. The representative said I would be refunded. She sent an email confirming I would be refunded. Then I found out the refund was never issued after speaking with another representative. No apology was given and I have to wait a minimum of an additional 10 business days for my money. The last communication was on 2/3/23 at 5:01 pm and the call lasted for six minutes.
Desired outcome: Refund
Ordered from the wrong store
I placed an online order. I didn't realize I had picked the inorrect location. I tried to call and cancel the order and they said that I needed to contact corporate. So I placed the order at the sonic I was located at so I was charged twice due to the fact that they would not canel my order. Very frustrating. I usually go to Sonic Daily for the drink specials and I don't believe that will be happening anymore.

Finally got my order and the first was correct, other than the chilicheese tots being a medium. And...

I made an online order on 1-12-23 at approximately 9:11 am at 1906 Charolette Ave Nashville TN 37203. After waiting over 15 mins for a drink I pushed the button and after 2-3 mins no response and I tried 3 different stalls so finally I got out of my car and knocked on the window because I did not see anyone inside anywhere. 3 other men came up 2 were door dash drivers who needed their orders as well along with another guy who was waiting 40 mins on his online order. None of us could get anyone to come to the window or the door. We knocked several times and saw a man in the back. He looked at us and then hid from us. None of us ever got our order. And I called customer service and got a refund. This made me late for my appointment. This experience was the worst ever. After my appointment I drove back by and saw a man in a sonic uniform tall dark hair standing outside by the drive through window smoking. The same man I saw outside when I first drove up that never showed back up. This is absolutely unbelievable and a horrible experience. As a business owner I would want to know about this so I am letting you know. Hopefully you will follow up on this.
