I have been employed as an independent contractor driver for several months when, on or about October 30, 2023 my account we deactivated because a background report indicated my driver's license had been surrendered. As this was inaccurate I quickly had this resolved and Checkr sent them an updated background report indicating I had a valid driver's license. Additionally, I flied a deactivation appeal. 2 weeks go by and I have neither received a reply nor was my account reactivated. I have contacted driver support on multiple occasions and never received any type of resolution. Most times I am simply.told to file another appeal, which goes against clearly stated procedure. Now prior to all of this occurring, I had an incident at the Sayre, PA Walmart where I had a manager (aka Yellow Vest) tell me that I could not make deliveries with my dog in the car. When I explained that he was a service animal and I was a disabled vet, the manager refused to allow me to make deliveries and canceled my orders. This is a clear case of discrimination.
Claimed loss: $500/day.
Desired outcome: Reinstatement of my account and reimbursed for the loss I have suffered, along with all Walmart staff receiving training regarding the laws pertaining to service animals.
