Best App
Honestly as a young adult who struggles with organization and dealing with medical bills, appointments etc, this app makes it extremely easy to navigate and organize your needs. It deserves a full 5 star rating.
If you have Stanford, you seriously need this app because it will genuinely make your life more organized.
From ordering your prescription, looking for doctors, messaging your physician, setting up appointments, paying bills and more, it’s super easy!
10/10
Awesome for frictionless healthcare experience
This app lets me to not only schedule my doctor appointments, but now it lets me to automatically checkin for the appointment without ever having the need to talk to anyone. Its simple and seamless. I like that it even offers to show directions to my doctor once inside the clinic with those maps. I noticed that I can even order medication renewals with the press of a button without having to message my clinic. Love how they are trying to make so many of the common tasks frictionless, just what you expect from Stanford. Oh, and please add Apple pay support for bill pay.
Update 4.0 has me in an endless loop to update
The app was working fine until today. I updated the app as told when I initially opened it and now I’m in an endless loop of the app saying to update and the App Store only showing OPEN. I was able to access the app to message my various doctors, check results of my tests and do e-check-in.
Today, I received a message for billing. I couldn’t access through the app due to the endless loop above so clicked on App Support from the App Store and eventually was taken online to the site. Was able to get to the last part where I entered the 3-digit code and submitted when it crashed.
Well designed
As a patient, I find the app well laid out and highly functional.
However, when I get notified of something, it’s not always clear on the app as to how I get to what I was notified for. The notifications icon in the top corner of the app does not show all notifications but rather just a subset.
For example, I received a push notification “Assigned content from your care team”. Tapping that opened the app but just brought me to the Home Screen. Clicking the notifications icon did not list this push notification. Only after reading an email for the same notification did I learn how to get to underlying content.
Terrible and spammy
This app is terrible, non stop alerts that are incorrect. Incessant commands to check in for appointments days away. When I try to login to stop the spam the app claims that I didn’t have a valid password. Despite the fact that I’ve use the password before. Stanford apparently loaded back laboratory tests I kept notifying me that tests were available, I don’t want a notification that I had a test a year ago!
The only way to get around this was to delete the app, and in addition I’m going to have them remove my phone number from my records. It seems pretty drastic but after a weekend filled with phone calls and alerts I’ve had it with Stanford.
Doesn't handle password change well
Overall, I would say I liked the app… Until I change my password. Then the touch ID feature kept entering the wrong password (even after I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, and even after I correctly typed in the password and click the "remember this password" button). The app only gives you three login attempts before it locks your account, and the only way to unlock it is to call in and have someone do it for you. This is extremely annoying. I have been locked out several times. The last thing I have yet to try is resetting all of my settings. However that means I have to set everything up all again, and that would be extremely annoying. I already complained about this to the people who unlocked my account, but it didn't seem like they were going to do anything about it.

Very convenient! Awesome app if you are expecting!
I got this app when I first found out I was pregnant. It is really helpful having notification reminders of appointments pop up on my phone a few days before and the day of my appointments. I like that all my information from each one of my appointments is always listed, as well as my test results. I never have to waste time again waiting and calling my doctor back because she would send me a personal note over the app letting me know about my test results. I always pay my bills online, so being able to pay my bills over the app is convenient. My favorite part of the app is being able to send a message to my doctor and having her or her assistant respond back within a few hours of sending. I have never had any problems with this app and I first downloaded it August . I would highly recommend this app to anyone.
Best Health Care & Best Doctors/Staff!
I’ve had some pretty complicated health issues over the last several years (well since 1979); in 2010 more serious health issues popped up which I unfortunately brought here for proper diagnosis in 2020; I was needing a game plan to fix my issues and to hopefully have a healthy and happier life moving forward. Dr Gupta, his amazing team of Doctors, and Staff have been incredibly kind, extremely knowledgeable, fast to act to help my condition(s); helped me with everything from my medical approvals, to the hospitals, my procedure(s), to the proper medications. I do need to say my medical history has NOT been normal on any level. Today, I feel better than I have in almost 12-years, I have actual natural healthy color in my face & skin (I had no clue I’d been so grey/dingy-looking for years), I have starting to loose weight, I sleep better, I eat better, interestingly enough my vision even changed for the better now that I have good blood flow and no SVT’s, and I haven’t had any AFIB or SVT “events” as I call them landing me in ambulance or ER (which is miserable). In years past, thought I’d had some of the best health care for example at Cedar Sanai Los Angeles, and private Concierge doctors in Lafayette (Northern Calif). BUT I hadn’t. I am so great full and appreciative for the care I’ve received and am receiving here. I highly recommend Stanford Heath Care, I cannot tell everyone how better my life is, and how Thankful I am for Dr. Anurag Gupta’s knowledge, the decisions we made together to hit my complicated issues head-on, and for his incredibly kind bed-side manner which makes you feel “everything is going to just be ok”!
My medical care here… well It’s been ABSOLUTELY life changing to say the least!

Stanford my health app
First I use the Stanford app. Was great. Than later couldn’t let me log in. After that day I never able go back to use the app. It is very inconvenient for me. I called Stanford technician many many time still not able to log in.
I don’t get it
Went through all of the trouble to check in before, only to be hit with a stack for forms when I walked in ?
Receptionist says check in doesn’t work unless the stars are perfectly aligned, and you are on the wi-fi (which is not working) ? Her words, “it’s finicky”.
