Ordered items. 6 days later still not shipped. When I called about it, was told I could get my money put back on my credit card within another 10 days. They took my money instantly and now they want to keep my money for a total of 16 days and still no items.
This is a total failure on their part. Fast free shipping is just a slogan, has no bearing on reality.
Delivery
Ordered and paid for a new Laser Printer. Marked as in stock etc. I live in Florida. Then received an email telling me it shipped, and delivery was for... next day etc. No truck. Then at 5:30PM I received another email telling me of a delay since the printer was now in California. I cancelled the order but wow, it had already shipped etc. So the computer said it was in stock in Florida, but it wasn't. I am now set back 9 days waiting for them to catch up to reality. Last trip to Staples for sure.
Shipment
After placing an order [protected]) with Staples on the 15th of November, I received confirmation that I would received order on November 17th by 5 pm with Granite State Shuttle service. On the 17th by the end of the day the tracking was updated to, "Delayed delivery" and that I would receive order on the 18th. I never received the order and the tracking did not provide an update. On the 19th, I called the Rochester NH store and inquired about my order. The person did not have a clue on what to do and ended up after useless talk giving me a phone number [protected]) to call. After calling that number and a few prompts, I was speaking with someone with poor English and speaking skills that also could not help me track my order. At that time I disconnected the call. Zero customer service! So I called Granite State Shuttle in Dover NH and a Pleasant gentleman looked up my deliver and said they are backed up because a driver was out sick and That I would receive my order on the 20th. As of this time I am still waiting. I don't blame the employees, It's the lack of real Management!
General service
Something similar happened to me today. I wonder how upper management is training these employees how to treat people who may, just, not, have, a, mask on them at the time and instead prefer to follow the social distancing guidelines.
As a customer I was expected to be polite and calm while their staff was dismissive, rude, and patronizing. The customer service girl laughed at me as I exited and told me to "have a nice day!" in the most patronizing tone.
Their Acts violated my freedom to express myself calmly, to feel safe from ridicule.
Perhaps as a remedy Staples can focus more on teaching their employees how to encourage Store policy from the Standpoint of the fundamental laws and freedoms that they too enjoy and are required to follow.

Epson printer and customer service
We bought a Epson ET7460 printer with the insurance program. We have had problems with it and were told Staples could not help since we had insurance. We did get another printer from epson with the same problem. Again- NO help. We want another brand that does not have a feeder problem.
You should not sell insurance knowing it does not help. I have been on with them for more than 1.5 hours and they said its Staples or Epsons fault. The store manager said there is nothing they could do to help. I run two companies and will not buy from a company that has NO customer service and does not want to help a customer.

I purchased an office chair at the Staples store in Webster NY so I could work from home. The chair was a high end $269.99 chair. I assumed that because it was made by LA-Z-Boy that the workmanship would be of superior quality and it would last for years. Less than 2 months from the purchase date I noticed that the chair was tilted. It appears that the gas lift is defective. When I asked Staples to exchange it I was told that they have strict 14 day return policy. I would think given the current crisis and the need for people to work from home that Staples would make exceptions to the policy (as many retailers and service providers have had to do). I was willing to return the chair to the store for an exact replacement and reassemble it so I could get comfortably back to work. Since all of my business is desk work this is a significant issue.

I ordered some shipping boxes and packing tape on Monday October 28. 2019 and their carrier, Prestige, which was an unmarked rusty van, delivered them Wednesday October 30...cardboard boxes delivered in the rain, unprotected, and at least 3 or 4 of those boxes in the bundle were already somehow mechanically destroyed...I have no idea what happened but I refused delivery. I called Staples and they agreed to reship on Thursday October 31...but when 6pm arrived and my order didn't, I looked up my order. The shipper lied and said I refused the Oct 31 order! Chat reordered and said they go out ASAP...but the email confirmation said Monday November 4th. I just told Staples chat to cancel the entire order but I'm not sure I got through to the guy so I responded to the confirmation with a cancel order as well...and included an explanation. I'm done with Staples and no $10 courtesy coupon is going to change my mind. Perhaps they shouldn't rely on slugs driving beat-up child molesting type vans to make their deliveries. Never again.

The chair came with faulty hydraulic and jammed wheel. The store would not replace, exchange or refund. Thank god i took the protection plan. well guess what. The protection plan was also denied. whats the point of this payment if it does not cover what its for. with that being said :

I am complaining because I came to Staples in Santa Monica only to find out there is no Wi-Fi available to me to do business and be able to print some important documents I needed to bring to a client today.
I am so upset about this because it affects my business. Staples is supposed to be the place you come for your business needs and I have always been very loyal to Staples however for me this is a huge problem and changes my perspective of the company.
WiFi is a basic need and should be available at all Staples stores because it is part of what we expect as a customer.
I spoke with manager and he had no explanation. He seemed to wear that it's been an issue for other customers and I don't even know what to say except for I hope you get it resolved because I am going to change my loyalties do a different situation if I can't count on Staples.
This is such a simple thing that can make a big difference in how I view your company.
