On May 21, 2022at 4:00PM EST, I purchased a grande iced brown sugar oatmilk shaken espesso at the 700 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA Starbucks location. The attached photo is the drink received.
When they called the name on the order i thought it was the incorrect drink because i've ordered this drink before and it looked nothing like what was expected. The drink was 3/4 filled in the grande cup. The color looked as if the Barista may have missed an ingredient. I asked the Barista if this was the how the drink should be (e.g., 3/4 filled and as if he didn't put hardly any oatmilk or it may be missing an ingredient). The response i received from the Barista was this is the standard. I asked if he could remake the drink or add more oatmeal. He again said, this is the standard drink and when its shaken there should be foam, but the foam settled. I hope this is not how Starbucks does business by reducing the amount of beverage provided by shaking up the drink to make more foam to take more space in the drink.
I proceeded to ask to talk with the manager, Trish, who was out right rude and disrespectful. She said the Barista. told you it was standard. She was so mean i had to stop her and ask her to be nice. Because they were not going to change my drink, i then paid for additional oatmilk. After waiting 10 minutes for my oatmilk, i asked for the oatmilk once more. The manager forgot then proceed to make rude comments. I had to ask her to stop the comments and be respectful.
Desired outcome: The Barista and Manager at 700 Commonwealth Ave, Boston MA should be re-trained on customer engagement, Corporate values, and preparation of beverages. I'm requesting an apology and refund.
Music - language
The music is too loud at Starbucks, Starbuck is supposed to be a place to study, it is not a club or the gym! You can't ace studying or take an important call with music blasting on the speaker behind you, put on study music, please. Starbucks is meant to be a classy place for students and young work professionals to work and study. Mobile Ordering Store #[protected]
This store has a terrible issue with Mobile Ordering. There has been several recent occurrences in which the Mobile Service for ordering is not working. Again today, 5/8/22 - there service was down. I find the Mobile App to be very convenient considering this is basically a drive through store, however, it has been unreliable over several occasions. I do not like the fact that you have to go to order outside the store when this is not working.
Desired outcome: Please fix the Mobil app to be reliable more often. I hear that Starbucks in trying to advance with their technology - I find this to be halarious since they cannot even get their basic app to work.
"It's our store's policy..." to dump your paid for product down the sink.
My wife has been visiting our local Starbucks (Store #57214 - Maple Valley Center, Farmington, MO 643640) since the place opened and have always been greeted with nothing but smiles and courteous people.
My wife always gets the same order, "Venti Cafe' Vanilla Frappe / add five shots of espresso / extra ice (compensates for the heat of the espresso) / double blended / whipped cream" which makes her drink nearly $12.00 USD when it's rung up with applicable local taxes included. It more than fill a "venti" cup and the baristas are always keen to give it to her, firstly because she paid for it; secondly out of plain old general courtesy.
Recently, however, the store (and one @#$%^& employee in particular) has started dumping her product that would over fill a venti cup because she says, "It's the store policy. You're exploiting the ordering process to get more than one drink," to which I replied, "No... You're throwing half of what I just paid for down the sink and basically, you're stealing from me," and I was directed to, "File a complaint if you feel it's necessary.
I have contacted Starbuck's Customer Service line on three different occasions now and was told a District Manager would follow up within, "48 business hours." The first call was over a week and a half ago and I have yet to be contacted.
I don't mind spending the money for something my wife greatly enjoys, but I'm getting decidedly sick and tired of receiving half of what I paid for.

In essence... Avoid it like the plague; all the other Missouri locations actually deliver the product you pay for.
Desired outcome: I would really like to see the look on this manager's face if she went to a steak house, ordered a 12 oz steak, and watched the staff throw one half in the rubbish and her say, "It's our stores policy."

It’s becoming a rarity to get good customer service at this location. Today as I was short on time trying to get a coffee and a quick snack before my granddaughter hit her ballet class we saw the drive thru was 12 cars long so decided to go inside. The doors were locked. Ok they are short staffed. So
Not wanting to be late, we left and headed to her class. I Dropped her off and I thought ok I’ll just go back thru the drive thru. As I began to drive in, a young dark haired small framed girl was walking out to place a cone in front of the drive thru waving me out.
I was one of 2 cars she just told to leave because apparently 2 staff members just walked out. I can understand such a dilemma however it was her behavior afterwards that was so uncalled for and beyond unprofessional, as a retail biz owner (10+ years) myself, if one of my employees behaved this way towards a customer they’d be instantly fired.
The employee decided to walk over to the people in the vehicle in front of me to have a good 5-10 minute personal conversation.. which would have been fine but they were literally blocking the entire driveway going in and out and I had a 6 year old Little girl to pick up from
Class in less than 10 min. I waited. And waited and quickly realized they weren’t going to stop talking so i tried to wave at the employee, she looked at me but just turned around and kept talking.

Longer (by this time My granddaughters class is letting out) so I had to honk my horn. They talked a little longer and then
The car finally pulled away but the employee turned and yelled at me… obscenities then saying “@$&% you don’t have to behave like that”. I was shocked at her behavior! At what point do you realize you are completely blocking the road and other people might need to get somewhere? Had I not needed to go pick up my 6yr old granddaughter, it would not have been a big deal waiting a few more minutes. But again they were blocking the entire only driveway in and out. I’ll never give this Starbucks location my business ever again.
Desired outcome: Retrain your staff on customer service and Etiquette. As well as how to take responsibility for their own poor choices. And for crying out loud… get a new manager!!

All the other stores on the Westbank of New Orleans do a great job of preparing and setting the order on the counter for the delivery to pick up and go on their way. However, your store at 1677 Barataria Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072 takes their sweet time packing the order which is also packed by the cashier then the order sits behind the counter where the delivery driver cannot access it needs to be handed to them. So, the driver must wait for the cashier to finish and then hope they will finally pack the delivery order. Meanwhile, customers ordering from the drive-thru can get their order faster. The manager at this location does absolutely nothing to help in this matter.
Half-filling cups because of pick-up tardiness
At the Starbucks on 949 Auahi St Honolulu, Hawaii there is a male barista that intentionally half-filled my entire order because I was late picking up my orders the previous two times.
I understand punctuality is important and lateness is rude; I also understand that not delivering goods and services being paid for id illegal. Unless half way filling my coffee as a retaliation for tardiness is included in the user agreement, then I have been wronged because I paid full price for that order.
If Starbucks wants to add late fees or expiration times to app orders then I'm all for it. This most recently took place on February 21, 2022 (I took my service elsewhere afterwards). My order is in the attached screenshots.
Desired outcome: An apology from the offender, my $1 tip returned, and 50% of my payment back. Please take back 50% of the stars I earned for that order to keep things fair and balanced.
Service
I waited 45 minutes for my drink. One person making drinks. I felt sorry for her. Unacceptable for workers to be working like this. There was an average of 10 people waiting for the duration of the 45 minutes.
Baristo
SB used to be a nice quiet place I would go to 3-4 times a week, but recently with the addition of one new vibrant personality behind the counter, I can't stay here. They laugh loudly, outrageously, yell out when the next order is read - makes us all startle. I don't want to be grumpy but wondering if there can be a staff meaning about loudness. Maybe it's my problem, but I can't sit here when they are here.
Please consider.

Desired outcome: A meeting about decorum. Friendly is not the same as falling off my seat loud, especially when it's super busy and constant, haha.
Forgotten order
Will Rogers Airport location did not communicate orders well to provide prompt service on Monday. February 21st at 11:30am. We waited almost 30 minutes to walk away with our two coffees and two egg sandwiches. One of the coffees was made iced when the order was placed as hot, so it had to be remade. The food order was completely forgotten and we spoke to two additional staff members, besides the cashier, to get our food prepared. We barely made it to our flight.
Desired outcome: Please review processes with staff to make sure orders placed are delivered as quick as possible the first time.
Sick Tea Drink
I have drank the Sick Tea from your company for years now . But lately I have had to go to several Starbucks to try and get my drink and all your employee say is we don't have the Peach tea to make the drink . or I hear We don't make that drink. so which one is it. Purchasing an online gift card
On January 14, 2022 I attempted to purchase an online $100 gift card with my Starbucks card in my Starbucks app on my phone. I loaded the $100 earlier that day. There is no option to purchase the card so I requested online help. The response was that they would get back to me in 3-5 business days. This was a birthday present and it was a Friday.
So on January 15, 2022 I visited a Starbucks store that is normally open for walk in, but was only open for drive-thru. I waited and went through the drive thru. I was told they could help me purchase the card if I come into the store but since they are not open I need to go to another store. I drove to another store, waited in line, then was told, the opposite, that I could not purchase the card with my Starbucks card in-app. They gave me a number to ask for $100 to transfer to my bank so I could go ahead and purchase the card through my debit or credit card. The customer service agent was as unhelpful as could be and told me she could only transfer $50 to my account in 7-14 days.
Desired outcome: I would like to be reimbursed for my purchase.
Yeah, you can't purchase a gift card with your SB card.

Pulled up to the drive through at around 7:45 pm. Store hours say it is supposed to be open til nine, lobby closes at 7:00pm. Waited ballpark 5-10 minutes, no response from restaraunt, place looked closed down. Left without service.

In January, 2021, I ordered the Egg White Egg Bites, and bit down on two toenails in my food. I immediately contacted the Provo Starbucks, where I bought them, and they apologized and gave me my money back, which was nice, but not enough. I was sick for two days afterwards, which makes me wonder what other surprise ingredients were in it, and completely disgusted with Starbucks ever since. I'm really sad. I LOVED the egg white egg bites, and Starbucks has been my go to cafe for years . After trying to contact Starbucks Corporate to resolve this for the last 11 months, I haven't had any resolution other than a perfunctory soooorrrryyy and a small gift card... for more Starbucks, and no follow up with my case # [protected]. The toenails in my food felt intentional, and someone needs to at least contact me. After trying to solve this privately, to no avail, I'm letting the public know. This problem needs to be fixed! Be warned. You food at Starbucks may have more ingredients than you think.

Packed starbucks long waits

am shareholder and long time customer. Christmas morning I had my 5 year and was directed to get a 10 drink order. I went to my not usually Starbucks. I placed my order inside and had to wait over 48 minutes to get my drinks. This Starbucks on Cavitt Stallman road was packed with people and need other Starbucks open. I am asking for other Starbucks to be open in the area or shut them all down in next Xmas. Also the order was completely wrong.

I ordered a small dark roast coffee with cream. The barista was busy making several complicated iced drinks with fruits and syrups but there was no one in front of me. After 10 minutes I finally had to ask for the coffee.
She had poured it 10 minutes ago and left it standing next to a machine where no one could see it.
Also, it was undrinkable because they filled half the cup with cream. She handed it to me cold and undrinkable.
How difficult is it to fill a cup with coffee and hand it to someone before it gets cold?
STarbucks barista in the location at Target (Raymer St. in Van nuys) could not give me a simple cup of coffee.
Small complaint but again - the Starbucks barista could not do a cup of coffee correctly.
Terrible experience on Christmas Eve. I'm never going back to Starbucks.
