Unauthorized credit card charges.
Enrolled in Starz 6 month plan for $43.99 never opted for continued service. One week prior to completed 6 month period I received a charge for $1.01 from Starz. I Notified Starz I cancelled subscription they charged my credit card for another $43.99.
Contacted customer service via email numerous times, they stated refund was sent.
30 days have elapsed, no refund.
Desired outcome: Refund for $43.99
Removal of The Virginian series
PLEASE bring Encore-western The Virginian series back! We are such huge fans of the show - it is our very favorite - and we don't have a lot in our daily life that brings joy, but being able to watch The Virginian has brought joy into our life. We are very disappointed and we beg of you to PLEASE bring it back. Please reconsider putting it back on

Why did you take our most favorite shows, Lawman and The Virginian off the daily lineup? They're the biggest reason we subscribe to Starz! Please keep these programs that us seniors live to watch! We watch from beginning to end and then rewatch them!

There are many more Westerns that are less popular than these mentioned but I think they are worth airing. I enjoy the Western Channel, but get tired of seeing the same ones over and over and over.

Trial subscription, still getting billed
We signed up for a starz trial through Amazon, kept it for a month then cancelled it. We continued to get billed (4 months now July, August, September and October) and can't access starz through Amazon (since it was cancelled). Found out the bill is serviced through PayPal, found how to turn it off in PayPal now working to get a refund. Wish us luck.
Charging me even though I don’t have an account!
I don't even have an account with Starz entertainment yet they keep charging my card! I can't login to cancel the "subscription" because I don't one! Why would I even have this entertainment when I have other better source! I demand my money back because I have not used the service and don't plan to at all! This is scamming and it is NOT okay! Please and thank you.

I signed up for a 7 day trial, watched one movie on the first day and cancelled 2 days later as I couldn't log into my acct.. They have the worst customer service ever.. Still charging my card one month later after numerous emails stating my subscription was cancelled.. Never again with these scammers! I have emailed daily as per their policy.. I have tried calling also with hold times up to 40 min too.. When I did finally reach the same rude rep she basically called me a liar

You people keep showing the same old movies over, and over each month, your program director is getting paid to much. If you'll look back check and see how may times Shane was shown, how many times Honda why don't you find and show the Searchrrs with John Wayne if I'm going to pay for this channel I want to see good movies

When are you going to change the channel lineup it's been the same for the past six years really tired of watching Laramie maverick Cheyenne over and over and over. I have been a customer for over 10 years and it seems like we are continually watching the same programs and movies. John Wayne made more than 10 movies if you're going to feature him at least show some other ones too. Your daily programming has been the same forever please put some different programming on as there are thousands of western programs out there
Not validating promotion
I signed up for a promotion Starz was running. It was a great deal. $5 a month for three months, also included is 3 Redbox rentals per month. Starz refuses to give me the promo codes for the movies.

Refused to honor $0.99/mn for 3 mn offer given when I decided to cancel
Horrible customer service! Feel like the offer I received when I decided to cancel was a bait and switch!
Started process of cancelling in late Feb and during cancellation, received a couple of offers as enticement to stay. Picked the $0.99/mn for 3 mn. Did this the night before the account was due for billing, so wasn't surprised when I was charged the full amount that month. Figured they'd make the adjustment the following month. Next month was again charged the full amount, so contacted customer service. Lots of back & forth & requests for more info. All very nice.
Ended up getting escalated to their Tier 2 Customer Service and that rep. basically called me a liar. His exact words were "After review of your subscription, we do not show any record of you accepting any specific promotion and ESPECIALLY NOT a promotion for $0.99 per month for three months." Wow! So many ways to say the same thing and he chose to say it in the most unprofessional way possible. Needless to say, his response made me so angry that I went online to cancel. Guess what! The same offer comes up again! So I take a copy of it and forward it back to them - again asking for a credit.
Long story short, rep. refused to forward my request to his supervisor and closed the claim. What a horrible customer service experience. Give the customer the deal YOU offered them and they'll probably stay. Bad business practice as well if you do the math. Absolute textbook perfect method for how to lose your customers.
After this experience don't think they'll ever step up to the plate and fix the issue. What I really want is to have the rude customer service rep fired. There is no place in ANY company for somebody who treats customers that way. Of course that won't happen, so I'd settle for a credit for the 3 months of full priced service less the $2.97 that I should have been charged.
Variety of westerns
I like Hopalong Cassidy (or at least his horse), but how about Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Sargeant Preston, etc? These all made many full length movies. How about series of Fury, Flicka and Rin Tin Tin. The only movies I don't get tired of are John Wayne, just wish ‘Hellfighters' was a western!
How about a John Wayne Channel to show all his movies, westerns, military, detective, and everything in between?
Movie with wrong description
Clicked on the movie "Hunger (2008)" on STARZPLAY to watch, as I enjoy biographies - after 10 minutes I was very confused, not one Irish accent, didn't look like a Men's Prison, no sign of Bobby Sands - because someone has obviously decided to list it wrongly - the film I started watching is definitely NOT "Hunger" about the IRA prisoner Bobby Sands, from 2008 and as described - it's some [censored] low budget film from 2009, totally unrelated.

I was searching for Scandal in amazon prime and Starz banner popped up and I received an email stating that I could watch Scandal on Starz, offer was £1 for 3 months then a fiver thereafter. I subscribed on 27.02.2020 and to my immediate disappointment, the programme I searched for eg Scandal was not available and I had to buy the Seasons. Starz has clearly misrepresented the product by LYING TO CUSTOMERS. Thankfully I took a screenshot of their lies and retain a copy of their email. Subscription will be ended and I hope no payment will be taken.

How dare you shrink the ending credits of the movies you air to where the information is unreadable! I just finished viewing "Stan and Ollie" and in the ending credits actual footage of the real Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy can be seen but is unwatchable due to the shrunken size of the images. Why do you do that? Instead of being able to appreciate seeing the real "Stan and Ollie" the viewer can watch coming attractions of "Outlander", a Starz ogiginal series. Big Deal! Boo! Shame on you, Starz programmers!
I posted a similar comment. I don't think there is anybody out there reading these things. I think this is a practical joke web site. The object is to see how many people can complain about the Western Channel.

So I've been charged for November and December for Starz app on my Roku TV. And when I go to the app on my Roku TV it says my account is lapsed and will not allow me to watch. This has been going on for a month now can u kindly contact me in regards to this? And I was literally just charged for December and it still isn't playing. My subscription is through Google play.

I have been charged for Starz but when I login to the app it says my subscription has lapsed and I need to pay again to reactivate. I was charged $9.80 on November 25 and I went to the page and logged only to be told to pay again! I literally had to sign up and was baffled as to why when I have been charged! I just want to cancel and be refunded for a service I didn't use.

Good Morning:
I received a call yesterday from a stazsplay operator asking if I had a few minutes to complete a survey. (I had recently just cancelled my subscription) I was asked many many questions and some were duplicate. After sometime I asked how much longer this would take. Only to be informed only a couple of more questions. The questions again became lengthier. When I tried to stamp the call. She began bargaining and arguing with me to stay on the call. I have never dealt with such in professionalism from a survey company. I stopped the convention and disconnected the call. Only to then be called back again. I then blocked the number. Today, the same person called again, to finish the survey from another mobile number. I said I wasn't interested and cancelled the call. She then called back again. This is beyond harassment. I'm not sure if the operator get paid on survey completion, if it is this needs to stop as they are harassing customers.
If this is not the case you need to speak to the operator right away.
subscription fraud?
I received email confirmation of my subscription cancellation yesterday, yet today at 3:20 pm Starz attempted to charge my card again for a monthly fee of $9.73. I have attempted to cancel before, and have also emailed requesting cancellation. I have also called and been hung up on while in the hold queue.
Please stop attempting to charge me for this subscription. I will resubscribe if and when there is a show I care to watch on your service.

I canceled my subscription and still was charged $9.99. I waited 2 hrs to finally speak to someone and was told they could do nothing about and would submit my issue to their team and it would take 4-6 WEEKS to investigate this problem! This is unacceptable and fraudulent and my card needs to be refunded the $9.99 ASAP! My email is [protected]@gmail.com
