State Farm has partially denied my claim stating there is no evidence of hail damage on multiple areas of my roof. I have had a couple of different roofing companies inspect my roof the past year and each roofing company has photographed and documented hail damage. State Farm had their adjuster come out and inspect my roof and they denied damage, except for the back portion where my skylight is. The adjuster also proceeded to dismantle two rows of shingles from the back portion of my roof, exposing my roof to leaks, without sending someone to tarp that portion before it rained on bare decking. Multiple neighbors in a 1/2 mile radius from my house has had their roof replaced due to hail damage. My contractor has submitted pictures of the hail damage extended all over the roof and State Farm still denies any evidence of damage, yet the adjuster decided to take two rows of shingles from the back portion of my roof and State Farm has placed a tarp on that back portion. The adjuster submitted his findings and said that the roof should be getting bought. When the managers investigated the claim, they didn’t make a decision for over a month, which was not done in a timely manner. I have damage from hail on my roof, my gutters, and other areas around my property. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB also. I have been with State Farm for years and never filed a claim and never missed a payment. My roof has hail damage as you can see in the many pictures submitted and I am fed up with State Farm.
