unethical behaviour, on the meat department
on 5/5/2018 visited the location #193, Moreno Valley, Mss. Shania, ( meat department) asked me what I need, said a salmon and swait filet, I asked polite, if can be fry, yes, she said, already upset, because I asked for complete piece of filet, she was give me a cutting pieces very small, said to comeback in 20 min, I did, she was talking with a guy, not a customer, not even asked me, I asked, if the fish was ready, she pointed to the end of the counter, said Is there, so I said, nice customer service, she gave me the ugly look, and I walk away, and then I returned and asked for her name, she said it, and I went to the cashier paid my items and said I had a bad experience with one staff member, called a manager on duty, Sonya C. came, listen my complain, it's been happened more than 3 times and today number 4, and then I asked Sonya if I can write a complaint, said yes, then, meat department manager, Serg( not really good in names) apologies, I mentioned the situation, when Sonya came and said they don't have no more complaints forms, I am taking this moment to complaint about this girl, thinking why, because we are Hispanic? racism, please be aware, of this girl, when I come to the meat department and she is there, I just walked away, but I wait too long to do this complaint and today was enough, and please take in consideration my request, I hope she understand, we are consumers, not a beggars. ( and she will be promoting this week for a manager? wao, should be happy}
cashier rudeness
I was making a purchase at your San Bernardino Baseline Street location when I overheard cashier Christina R. speak to her fellow staff rudely and embarrassing her in front of customers. While she was not rude to me as a customer, I believe that staff should interact appropriately especially in the presence of customers. Christina R. called the bagger to come bag in a demanding voice and then said, "who are you to think you can just stand around and talk." This was demeaning to the coworker. You can be in command in a respectful manner. No one should have to work under these conditions.

Bought a box of Cleo-Leo brand oatmeal raisin cookies from store #27. I bit down on a cookie & something stuck my gum & inside of my mouth! I spit it out & there were two pieces of wood. Looks like a broken toothpick. Unbelievable! Customers, please be aware of eating these cookies or heaven forbid giving one to a child. I will never buy anything from the bakery again.

My daughter works at Stater bros at 57075 Twentynine Palms Highway, Yucca Valley, CA 92284.
On wednesday feb 28 she was working the bread section at that store location aprox 7;30 to 8 am . She was being harassed by a man named " Glen ". My daughter just turned 20 in january and this guy is in his late 50's early 60's.
Glen shows up every wednesday morning early and hangs around in the store for about 2 hours. During this time he spends at least 20 minutes trying to talk to my daughter and following her around.
She confronted him and asked him in a curt tone to stop trying to talk to her and following her. He immediately went to other store employees asking why she was mad at him.
So instead of being he fellow employees concerned with Glens odd stalking behavior, another employee brought glen over to her and told her to apologize, which she refused to do . The head cashier " Vicki" said in a very loud voice for all to hear "WHATS WRONG WITH HER"!?.
This made my daughter cry and go to break room, Her manager adam asked her what was wrong and she told him about GLEN . ADAM acknowledged that Glen was a bit of a creep and had actually had similar experience with his own daughters and glen.
My daughter wanted to tell her union rep about the stalking from glen and harassment / bullying from other employees ( Vicki), but Adam told her not to cause a ruckus about it and that her rep ' Alan Kontra" wouldn't do anything about it anyway because they are friends.
My daughter feels like this stater brothers is a unsafe work place and her safety is in jeopardy. She feels Her fellow employees from the manager, down are not concerned and harass/ bully her because of her concerns .
I hope the right person reads this and this is resolved.
I work at store 134 in la Mirada. A co worker of mine named Rebecca Gonzales has been harassing and bullying me for months now and it’s getting ugly and to a point where im being chased out of my job bc management doesn’t wanna do anything about it. She’s pretty much getting away with it and Im tired of this girl mistreating me and others very badly. Any suggestions would really help.
bear republic ipa
I bought a 12 pack of Bear Republic IPA last weekend and the taste was not anything near an IPA of the past. The expiration date is July 2018 so I'm not understand why this could be the case. I bought also bought, at the same time, the New Belgium 12 pack of IPA, and it's much better.
Anyhow, don't mean to be a pest but I've been a loyal customer for many years and these craft beer do go at a premium so I'd want to voice this and hopefully not see a trend in quality.

The store on East Avenue J and 20th St East is supposed to open at 6:00 am they never do. This morning Donna M. the only cashier arrived at 6:02 am as I was standing waiting for them to open, the gentleman opened the door to let her in and then locked the door. The Manager walked up a couple of minutes later and I asked him you do open at 6:00 right, to which he sheepishly said yes. I have to be at work at 6:30 so every minute in the morning counts, why can't the employee be required to be there in time to start at 6:00 and may I suggest a stronger Manager.

This complaint is concerning ice cream cup sold under the Stator Bros brand. It seem as though the cups do not contain a full volume of ice cream. After purchasing several bags of these cups, it appears each cup is missing 10 to 15 % volume of ice cream. It can't be through evaporation or shrinkage. Why the discrepancy? In buying several packages, it appears this is not a one time production mistake. Please take action to correct this.
dry cat food may be bad
Hello, my name is Gretchen Dupree and I purchased a medium sized bag of Stater Brothers brand dry cat food in the purple colored bag. All 5 of my indoor cats have had diarrhea and are vomitting. I do not have the empty bag anymore, but I am still looking for the receipt and I should be able to find it.
I purchased the food from the corona, ca store approximately 6 to 7 days ago.
I am very concerned for all animals who are eating this food right now. Please look into it and I hope to get a reply with an explanation. Thank you, Gretchen Dupree

It was closing approximately around Before11pm One cashier available and I did hear this said cashier and another younger women on diff cashier requesting for this Aaron (or Erin ) a 6 feet man /African American? Curly hair? bagger to kindly help the cashier to bag for the customers he appears to be just roaming around talking loudly to other customers mybe he knows them and not paying attention to the request of the cashier. What an [censor] I waited for him to see if he's coming back from outside he didn't even try to help the cashier . I help myself to bag plus the cashier to bag my groceries. Kindly put an action to this attitude because it's not proper for the customer to see this service. There's no I in a team look like this guy is no team player with this closing shift.
service at meat counter at calimesa store.
On December 4th myself and my 11 year old daughter approached the meat counter at the Calimesa store. It was a fairly busy evening, and i observed Terry highly involved with a conversation with another employee. Myself and two other customers tried more than once to get her attention for service. However, her conversation (which i could clearly hear) was far more important than customers. Just by standing at the counter waiting for service, i came to the conclusion that Terry doesn't really care for a coworker named Brandy and clearly hates her job. I decided to get my bacon and ground beef in self service. It was very unprofessional, i will avoid this department in the future if she is working.

HAIRY COOKIES!
I found a hairs baked into my sugar cookies. I'm 6 1/2 month pregnant and I don't feel safe eating these cookies anymore nor do i feel okay about giving these to my children. I am absolutely outraged that my local grocery store would let something like this happen. I doubt a refund would be available due to them already being opened but i believe something is in order .

I begin eating the cookies and they were not fresh at all! they tasted like 2 day old cookies. I am very disappointed. I usually buy these all thge time. I just bought these today 12.02.17. the sell by date is 12.05.17. This is ridiculous! I tyhought starter bros had a good name regarding their products, I guess not. I was so disappointed when the cookie just crumbled as soon as I ate it. Who knows how long this box has been sitting on the shelf. My wife was at the Slater Brothers Store in Cypress, Ca.
She was at the check out with about 10 items. The check out register was
the 15 items or less. She received her receipt and was wondering why it was so costly and noticed that she was being charged for 16 extra items!
My wife showed it to the cashier and she the Manager. When the manager
came over the they started to chuckle and he asked if my wife would like
to return these items? My wife replied that she never purchased these items. While the line is being backed up he started to deduct all the items.
They wanted to keep the receipt and my wife said no and left the store
with the items she purchased. Now you wonder how many other times we have been over charged or any other costumer's. We cannot trust our

I talked to the manager about how I have bought villa roma sicilian style sausage here before and he said he would order it for me and every time I check on it its not done I also asked about valecrest turkey's both items I have bought here several times and still waiting my mother loved valecrest turkey and she is gone now when I fix it I think of her and she is will missed you sell villa roma sausage all the time I know you can order sicilian style from villa roma I left my phone number with the meat department manager several months ago I love your store and prices I would be so happy to buy both items please do what you can I'm a loyal customer

fruit quality poor
All of your fruit was kept in cold storage to long which gives poor texture and no sweet taste. I would hate to change grocery stores in that I am happy with service at all other customer service items. I shop at the new store on Florida and Sanderson in Hemet. I am sure you probably have the same buyer for the whole chain. The last item I purchased was peaches. Looked great not to soft but lacked any taste and texture. You could not tell you were eating a peach if you closed your eyes.

Stater Bro. 1045 N Garey Ave, Pomona, CA 91767 Deli Dept., time of incident 5:45pm young girl working the Deli approximately in her early 20s was extremely rude.
Since the warmers were completely empty, I inquired if they had anymore chicken cooking in the back and she said "no it takes an hour and 30 minutes to make." Mind you, it's literally dinner hours, you would think they had chicken already frying to restock the warmers for customers picking up chicken for dinner. Then I asked again, ." So when the warmers are empty you don't cook more chicken?!?!" She said, "NO" I don't know how this Stater bro runs its Dept. But isn't this her job.
This is not the first time I encountered this Dept being very unprofessional and I feel it's unfair for people who swing by real quick to pick up an 8 piece meal, yet are told "it takes too long to cook".

We went up to the store in big bear and bought some groceries for the week on monday on friday i tried to return some items but was denied. I tried to return a bologna package a turkey package two pizza packages a healthy choice entree. No where on the receipt does it state the return policy. I am very disappointed in stater bros. We dont live up in big bear only visiting and the employees were no help. Please help out if you can

Today I attended stater off of Barton rd in redlands. I went to the bakery to get a cookie for my 2 children I had with me. I stood at the bakery counter for 15 mins with no help when there were 2 individual working the deli counter. Even when another customer pointed out I was waiting before her the deli clerk said "she has to wait for a bakery clerk". Not once did either of them address me or offer to get someone for me. Never have I had such horrible customer service there before.

I am a concerned parent of an employee that works at that location Aamiya Qasem and how management treats her. She was originally told her schedule was 3-9 then told she can work 7:30 am to 3p.m.. then was called the morning of and told someone called in and if she could work the later shift. She told them no unfortunately plans were made that couldn't be changed and then was told ok just come in at 7:30 still. She did and when she got there was told go home and come back later. and she had no choice, that is threatening especially coming from a store manager to a young employee. She wasted her time going in lost a day of wages over Management not being able to get there affairs in order. this is unacceptable.
