Straight Talk Wireless Multiline discount plan & billing issues

I have been over charged the last two months. Customer reps have destroyed my account to the point my four phone lines have been removed from my account. I’m working to get the fourth line back on my account customer rep is accusing me of not owning the phone. I have spent hours on hold & hours explaining the issues over and over. They do not understand English and do not understand how their system works. They hang up on me when they don’t know what to do. Then I have to call back and wait on hold again to do it all over again. I’m due a substantial refund because of over charges. I want to leave the company after being a faithful customer for over a decade.

Desired outcome: I want my overcharges paid back. I want all my phone lines on the same account.

I called yesterday 09-10-23. I explained my issues. The representative told me that the line that was removed can’t be put back on my account because there is an error in the system. She told me I had to let a representative with higher capabilities to repair the service. She said she filed my problems with that department and that they would call me at 2pm est on 09-11-23. It’s almost 6:30pm est now on 09-11-23 and they have not called and my issues has not been resolved.

Also the refund promised two weeks ago has not shown up on my credit card.

I get a run around every time I call. No one knows what’s going on or how to fix it.

Straight Talk Wireless Customer care

I have been a customer for 10yrs with you and I pay for 2 lines [protected](mine) and [protected](my wifes) yesterday my phone got destroyed and I went and bought a brand new straight talk phone at Wal-Mart well then my wife liked the new phone more then I did but I was happy with her old phone I called customer care got disconnected twice but once I got thru they switched my wife's SIM card to the new phone ( A03) and its working that's fine we wanted it that way but now as far as my line is going they tell me I need to buy a new SIM card and minute card and I'm going to lose my number and the remaining minutes I have for the month just because me and my wife hadn't called 2 of the same ppl in the last 60 days even tho I have verified the 4 digit pin that I set up with my account so it just feels like you all are trying to rip me off or make me do and learn new stuff that I don't want to do

Desired outcome: all I want is to keep my phone number I've had for 10yrs and the remainder of my minute card on my wife's old galaxy s21 which I'm still paying on

Straight Talk Wireless Replacement phones

The service is great and the phones are comparable to other companies phones. My complaints are about how they handle replacement phones. I bought a new phone back in May. That phone ended up being defective from the factory not by my hand, and I needed a replacement. I did not ask for my money back thinking they would just send out another new phone after receiving the defective one. That is not what happened. I have waited 4 months for a new phone and have received a refurbished one instead. I was told that the warehouse sends out available phones whether that be new or refurbished. None of this was explained to me when I sent my phone back. So if you have a defective phone ask for a refund and just reorder yourself. Now I have a refurbished phone with a defective screen and my only option is to send it back and get another replacement whenever one becomes available. And that phone could be another refurbished phone.

Desired outcome: I want a new phone. I bought a new phone I want what I ordered. The phone being defective was not my fault.

Straight Talk Wireless Updating my credit card

8/28/23 I started at 8:58 I tried to updated my credit card because my phone was off all I wanted to update my cc. I call three time and no was able to help me they told me to call my bank and I did and my bank said everything was good no problem it was on the phone company side. All I want to do change my expire date and cv number. And I was told they could not do it I ask why, and they said they could not tell me. Tell me why I have been a custom for years never had a problem. Use another credit card to get my phone on the card today I wanted to used my same cardis its for bill only I want to change to the card I have been used please get back with me

Straight Talk Wireless plans and servie

Purchased a new phone and upgraded to the silver plan for me and my son unlimited talk, text and data charged me $107. 45 July11, 2023. Spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone with customer service to make sure both phones were upgraded and under my name and auto refill. But then this month nope they charged me $37. for my son account the bronze plan UGH. Called again today 8/16/20 spoke to Jenny for 25 minutes with my son on the line to get this straightened out lines merged Silver plan auto refill took out of my account today $40.55 only to find out 2 hours later she did not upgrade my sons line which would have been another $4.11. Called customer service to be told that no he could not be upgraded until the end of his plan REALLY they don't have the capability or the technology to do so. Then I asked at least 20 times to speak to a manager or supervisor to be hung up. That is not the first time I have been hung up on by this company.

Desired outcome: both $40.55 and $37. for me and my son's plan for August reimbursed to my bank account

Straight Talk Wireless 2 line silver plan unlimited high speed data for $75 + tax/fees

Purchased the 75 dollar silver plan. Supposed to get 2 lines of unlimited talk text and data. Got one line, the other line stopped working after one gig was used. Called, they hung up before I even described the issue. Called back and spent about 15 min on the phone supposedly fixing the issue which they blamed on a glitch in their system. They said the issue would be corrected within an hour and to just restart the phone in about an hour. They claimed the internet would work again and be set to unlimited. So I got a ticket number from them and then my phone stopped working right after that call. I could make calls but no internet. I call back, another 15 min and they fixed my phone. Then rebooted the other phone, the one I'd originally called about, and it still didn't work. Realized why they said wait one hour to call back if it didn't work. They had closed up for the night. So my wife is still without internet. It's issue after issue with this company and often they just hang up on people before the issue is even described.

I just want what we paid them for without having to spend 15 to 30 min on the phone with them almost every month. Looking for a more honest company now. August 14th 2023 is the current date when I tried to fix this particular issue.

Desired outcome: Give us the service we paid for and compensate us

Straight Talk will not even talk to my husband to reverse over $1800 in monthly charges for 2 phone lines that our Verizon salesman canceled with them when we switched to Verizon because even with the imei number of the phone traded in to Verizon straight talk "couldn't verify it" because the service is canceled so Pin numbers and passwords won't work to go through their ridiculous verification processes. There is no way to file a complaint with them directly.

Desired outcome: We need a response and our money back.

Straight Talk Wireless Identity theft, misuse of consumers information terrible customer service & not in US.

Stealing my information & misleading marketing they are all located in philippines & no americans I was told just now when asking for us representative & I was denied any help! I have had nothing but trouble for the past 2 weeks, I use straight talk have for 2 years without any real issues until recently. Now my un hackable iphone has been compromised & every account with it. At 1st I thought it was apples fault but the more I dig into it & the crap service from straight talk to get a new sim card has been less than pleasant to say the least. I was also told I could not speak with a manager after they took my imei number down because I was being told suddenly my sim was locked on my iphone. Id had well over the 12 months time frame of consecutive service (this was rite before they released the new rules for 60 days to unlock sim) so i’ve had mine 24 plus months never late as it auto deducts & they never did unlock my phone or sim as promised automatically & now bc I made a ticket to resolve this with a cs rep over the phone who’s name was michelle in the unlocking department supposedly from the philippines argued repeatedly with me stating she would not forward me to a manager for assistance I have to wait full 48 hours that can not be overridden no matter what crisis I may be having as she laughs.. I do not believe this garb for one minute. But trying to reach someone that takes me seriously is impossible. I’ve went to my local walmart too no rep was there.

Desired outcome: A call from a manager with a solution & the identity coverage I pay for platinum coverage with my bill to help me figure this out would be nice. Before whoever is stealing from me leaves me penniless & homeless preferably.

Straight Talk Wireless Cell service

My wife bought a phone with service from straight talk. It worked for two days and then dropped. After calling (at time of writing) twelve times, no representative from Straight Talk can give us a straight answer. They keep asking for our zip code, which we give them, and then responding with simply "That zip code is not compatible with your device." We can safely say this is false because we have friends in this area that are currently using the same phone from straight talk that are using it. For a kick in the head we also provided the zip codes of the closest major city, the state capital, and even the Zip Code for Straight Talk's headquarters. And every time the response would be "Thank you so much for information. Unfortunately that zip code is not compatible with your device." This has been going on for two weeks, we have a lot of important stuff going on and we are both getting very frustrated. And whenever we voice our concerns the representative doesn't even seem to understand what we're saying. Half of them don't even speak english! At this point we tried to transfer to Verizon but we need the number that seems to both exist and not exist but Straight Talk in their infinite wisdom won't give us service so we can't cancel the service, get my wife's phone number, and transfer to a competent service. I cannot stress this enough. Do not ever, ever, EVER, use Straight Talk.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a written apology, a full refund for the phone and the service, and for my wife's phone number to be released so we can take our business elsewhere. This is unacceptable.

Straight Talk Wireless straight talk customer service

I returned my broken cell phone to Straight talk with the label they have sent me for in warranty phones. They sign for the phone on Jan 2023. I have all of the proof of this. I have tried week after week to get my replacement phone. I have records of many calls to them. I have talked to cooperate office. I have talked with Walmart Cooperate office. I have been assured time after time that this time they have it all corrected and I will be getting my phone. I have spent countless hour on the phone trying to get this straight. I have waited on the phone many times for long periods of time, as they are "fixing" the problem, only to have the call,"Dropped". I need my phone. But, there is not a person smart enough there to correct their problem. They are basically stealing my phone and not covering the warranty. Do not trust them. I have told them how important it is for me to have a phone. I am using my granddaughter's phone, which doesn't allow me full function of what I need. But, no one seems to care enough to do their job. So, so not use Straight talk. Use a company that will help you.

Desired outcome: my promised replacement phone that will have the same features as the one they have of mine.

Straight Talk Wireless Straight Talk deleted a month of service

STRAIGHT TALK UP TO TRICKS

Straight Talk changed my end of service date from 9/23/2023 to 8/24/2023. I had a month of service in reserve that extended my end of service date of service to 9/23/2023. I have a picture of my account with the end of service date of 9/23/2023. What is wrong with these people?

*Update — straight talk finally extended my end of service date to 9/23/2023 this month. One month for the 4,500 points I cashed in plus an extra month of service for their mistake Just noticed they took back the extra month for their mistake. Now my end of service is 8/24/2023. I have a picture of my account with the end date as 9/23/2023.

Desired outcome: The desired outcome is to credit the month of service back to my account.

Talked with Maria, Customer Service Representative, all she did was look at my account and tell my service end date was 8/24/2023. Maria didn’t know what happened to the month of service I had in reserved to extend my service to 9/23/2023. Absolutely, no help. The above picture shows end date of 9/23/2023.

I have 3 phones (2 cells and home phone). I pay each phone from separate bank accounts. Someone got the great idea of combining the 3 bills, trying to force me to pay all 3 from one account, which is not going to happen. Has been on the phone several times for at least 30-45 minutes to correct this problem as they have removed the 2 cell phones from my account. All Customers Service Rep are in the Phillipines and their English is horrible. I received different answers each time I called. Now as of Midnight today, my husband nor I will have cell phone service. I am so tire of asking for someone in the US and being told that it was not possible. Looking for another carrier.

Straight Talk Wireless Cell phone

The first ticket 8:20 am , trying to log into my account. Agent said he updated my email and a link would be sent in 30 minutes or less. 8:36 still no email 3 hours later ticket at 12:03 new agent said 15 minutes or less will send link to change password. No link or password sent. Now another ticket at 3:42 actually spoke with someone and said she would send link to change password on updated email. 3:56 no email. I got courtesy call back, well that was a waste he did not know anything about what i needed just wanted to send me a verification text, which they already sent. What the heck do i need another one of those for you already know who the hell your talking to. Now I'm going to walmart where i originally purchased the phone and straight talk service. Never had a problem with Straight talk before. Also, my service was not to end till July 27, 2023. They moved the service end date to today July 25, 2023, and withdrew the payment, I had automatic payment. What if i didnt have the funds there? I did not get a text or email telling me they were going to do this.

Desired outcome: I would like to get into my account. If not, refund my service and take me off of the auto pay

Straight Talk Wireless Home phone service!

I have had their service for over ten years! The service has been good for the

monthly fee! BUT! Their router finally broke down and failed after years of service! When I contacted them they told me to send in my old router in and they would replace it, in 3 to 5 days once they received it at their warehouse! I sent it in, and now a month later I still have not received a new router! I have called every 5 days and received the same answer "Sorry for the inconvenience, it will arrive in 3 to 5 days!"

Their phone center in in the Philippines, their operators speak vary poor English! You can not speak to a supervisor, they all tell you they are the supervisor!

There is no way you can contact a real person in customer service it is all just menu answers! It has been the worse customer service, and company I have ever dealt with! I would advise anyone not to get involved with this company!

The worse I have ever had in all my life! I finally just gave up and canceled my

service with them! CHECK : read all the complaints about their replacement routers! They say none of them work from day one! Stay away from Straight Talk phone service! Richard

Straight Talk Wireless Ordering phone

On thursday, july 13th I ordered a phone on their website to upgrade my sons. I chose to finance this phone and I paid the first month plus shipping. After that, I got an email with my order number and the phone was still not shipped out. Mind you I paid for next day delivery/overnight shipping. Friday morning I tried to check the status of the delivery, and it kept saying “system error”. I used the messaging an agent option and the agents were beyond rude, telling me “it clearly states your order will be here between 2-3 days”. I eventually called customer service because the system said my order number/email didn’t exist. Mind you the payment processes in my bank twice, instead of once. The lady over the phone told me that the order number didn’t exist! And that I needed to call my financial institution in order to get my money back. At this point i’m beyond confused, annoyed, and wondering what was going on. When I call the corprate people to make a complaint, the person over the phone tells me that the phone is already picked up by ups and should be here monday! I explain to him the situation and he proceeds to be rude to me, mocking me over the phone, and laughing at me. I eventually hang up.

It is now tuesday afternoon and my package has still not been delivered.

Desired outcome: I want to know where my package is and why I’ve been given multiple different answers

Straight Talk Wireless Unlocking of phone

Here is the conversation I had with agent on July 12, 2024 I uploaded screenshots of it. And today July 14, 2024 they told me there was no record of me paying the fee or even mdking the unlock request and says the can not refund the money cause there is no record of any of this then told me I had to verify account never had an account horrible service Talk to 20 different people and get to 20 different answers.
