They phone me continually about republishing a book I wrote 15 years ago. I never answered their calls, I never contacted them in the first place. Highly annoying. Avoid at all costs!

This company contacted my father who resides two hours from me and left a message on his vmail about my book I self-published on my own offering to provide support to me. This alarmed me as to how they located my father's number or was aware that I self-published my own work then it hit me they must rely on "skip tracing" a process that bill collectors and scammers rely on. I contacted them on today (1/25) to inquire about how they received my fathers number and to request it be removed and I received some alarming news. I told the rep who took the call why I was calling and she asked for my name and name of my book. I asked her why did she need the name of my book however thinking it was harmless to reveal it I gave her the name. She then tells me after searching that my book was with the acquisitions department. I was confused and asked her what did she mean because I did not do business with them and have no working relationship with them. She transferred me to someone else who was of no help then I was transferred to a Roberto(?) whom I was told managed my account. By this time I was furious and told him my frustrations and requested to know why they contacted my father and why they had information in reference to my book. He cross talked the entire time and then became rude and offended in my frustrations with their poor business practices and how they were not answering my questions. He concluded with that they do not have my book in their possession and they only had my number as I must have completed a interest form online. I told them what the rep before him said regarding my book and also shared with him that if I had completed a online form I would have used my personal number opposed to my father's number. I explained in detailed on my recorded line and told them my line was recorded that I do not grant them permission to use my work, promote my work, be in possession of my work and that we do not have any business together regarding my published works. I have provided this to my attorney who will drafting a communication to their agency as we truly do not know their intent. My concern is what reputable business skip traces an author to try to locate them to promote their services. The large publication agencies do not operate in this manner. This is poor business practices and speaks to the integrity of an agency. Be aware if you are so brave as to enter into business with them. This was predatory at its best.
These people have been repeatedly calling me at my home (I don't even know how they got that number, and I have never contacted them)
These people have been repeatedly calling me at my home (I don't even know how they got that number, and I have never contacted them) unsolicited about my ALREADY PUBLISHED books and manufacturing lies about our "appointment" to talk--again, I NEVER contacted them. This is a predatory vanity press that is a shameless money grab. Avoid at all costs.

If Stratton Press gets hold of your money. It is gone even if they never do anything for you and your book. I gave them over $900. several months ago to republish one of my books. the day after I had to ask for my money back because of family emergency. I had not even given them my manuscript. I have contacted them until I am sick. They just give me the run-around and nothing results. They do not honor their money back guarantee. I do never recommend this publisher with their high pressure sales woman to any author. ***, Texas
Stratton Press had a superb team that walked with me through the process of publishing my book. Jerry, Steve and Christine were very professional and did not sacrifice the quality for the sake of time. Jerry has been very patience and available whenever I had questions or concerns. Steve and Christine were equally helpful, and interacting with Dean has been very enriching. It has always been my prayer that I could develop a relationship with a publishing company that would see my potential and I believe Stratton Press is that company. At the time of my experience with Stratton Press, though the Country and World were experiencing unprecedented challenges in life, yet they continued to communicate and work with me. I highly recommended them to any serious author. Thanks a lot.

This company has called me relentlessly for over a year (closer to 2-3) about a book I didnt even write called Against My Will
This company has called me relentlessly for over a year (closer to 2-3) about a book I didnt even write called Against My Will. I dont know how they got my number. Worst of all, they somehow got my sisters number and have been calling her about me, too. I have already emailed them asking them to stop. They havent. They are harassers and scammers. Theyre also inefficient, given that they havent taken the 3 seconds of reasonable thought it would take to see that I dont even have the same name as the author they are trying to contact.

This is absolutely, positively, without question, the worst self publishing company in America
This is absolutely, positively, without question, the worst self publishing company in America. My wife writes children's stories in verse and rhyme. We have successfully published 11 books with three different publishers. Until now. The person we were working with did not even know what the word verse meant. Yikes! The illustrations could have been taken off of any template. We cancelled the contract on August 30 and we are still waiting for our refund. We were contacted on Dec. 4, 2019 and the person said he was going to accelerate our refund. Needless to say his accelerator is in need of repair. Writer beware.

I gave them $1,883.98 of my money and they did NOTHING IN RETURN!
I gave them $1,883.98 of my money and they did NOTHING IN RETURN! They said they would publish my book and they did nothing but take my 5 payments...and I am retired with $13,500 annual income. I wrote to 6 employees that I dealt with and several departments. Not one of them to reply to their stealing almost $2,000 from me. It has been so incredibly stressful that no one would acknowledge their theft. My name is *** and I have had no recourse to these people. How can they sleep at night to be so corrupt? I have a record of all their bills and they took all my money with no conscience. Please help. Sky R sucked me in but Jeff R and Bradlee C Edward P Aaron D and Kristoffer R knew the truth of this and no one would reply to my email or snail mail letters.

I am grateful for the time and cooperation over the past few years of writing and publishing three books with Stratton Press and its affiliate
I am grateful for the time and cooperation over the past few years of writing and publishing three books with Stratton Press and its affiliate Bookgeni! I know that during the Pandemic it has been a hard time due to quarantine and lockdowns but its great to know that all progressed efficiently and the team certainly did make an excellent job of producing my books live! In the future it will be a pleasure to submit some of my manuscripts and receive such spontaneous and great customer service via email contact. I really recommend this publisher to new Authors who are testing the waters to write and publish more novels! Thank you *** and *** for your encouragement and time during a period of Self Publishing and to yourselves and your team wish you all success in your publishing services. Blessings and much appreciation for such great team work!

To whom it may concern,I am writing this review with gratitude toward Stratton Press Publishing
To whom it may concern,I am writing this review with gratitude toward Stratton Press Publishing. Last fall, I received a phone call from a project manager from Stratton. It became more of a friendly call than a request for a business arrangement. He mentioned a book that I had recently published with another publisher. Of course, I was skeptical about republishing and spent a good deal of time investigating Stratton. I was soon convinced that it was fair, and I took the offer. I am now under contract for six books. One has been released and is available for sale. Two are in the editing process, one I am working on daily and is near completion and two are in the wings. Working with Stratton has been one of the pleasures of my life. My project manager has inspired me to write and paint and do all the creative endeavors I used to do. He calls several times a week and inspires me. Everyone from the company that I have dealt with have been professional and timely with projects, and our association has only been since last November. I cannot believe we have accomplished so much in such a short time. I couldnt be more pleased.

To whom it may concern, To be sure, more than not, The ComplaintsBoard.com receives more negative reviews than positive compliments
To whom it may concern, To be sure, more than not, The ComplaintsBoard.com receives more negative reviews than positive compliments. Well, this one surely is a positive one! I recommend Stratton Press because they have gone through the rough times of the pandemic and managed to adjust and conduct business as regularly as possible which is a compliment of its own especially in publishing my book, ***. I want to give special commendation to Jem G, Senior Acquisition Specialist at Stratton Press, for her excellent expertise. Clearly, she went above and beyond the call of duty in the personable way she treated me throughout the whole process of editing, proofing and coordinating her team. Her consistency and persistence were so very much appreciated. Then on top of all this, her personality traits put a finishing touch on all of the above. In short, Jem has a professional style with a personal touch. Therefore, I heartily recommend Stratton Press to anyone needing to have his/her book published. By the way, their fee is $999.00 for the entire production of the book. So, I recommend that you contact Jem G and she will professionally and promptly guide you through the process. Moreover, Stratton Press has already gotten me positive results through their marketing program, even to the extent of letters of positive feedback about my book before it is printed!

A couple of years after publishing my first book with another self-publisher, I had gotten a flurry of calls from other publishers wanting me to re-publish it with them. I did end up re-publishing with yet another self-publisher, but the calls kept coming. One day I was contacted by a young lady named Razie from Stratton Press. There was a sense of honesty and professionalism coming from her and as I would normally quickly dismiss any other caller, I felt compelled to hear her out. I did explain that I wasn't interested in re-publishing my first book yet again, but that I was engaged in writing my second book and hadn't yet committed to any particular publisher. She took her time and told me what they could provide for me and asked if I'd be comfortable sending a few pages that they may access to see if my material would be acceptable. So, needless to say, they liked what I had and I felt comfortable with what they offered. Not to mention that Razie was top notch and ended up overseeing things for me all the way through even when my manuscript was with other team members like Jerry and Bradlee, who were also very quick to respond and professional with what they were charged to do. I was impressed with the cover design team and design layout of the book itself. I will say that the editing took a little longer than they had originally told me, but that was primarily due to the world crisis, causing layoffs and disruptions everywhere. They did work through it and kept me up to date. If I had any questions or concerns, everyone starting from Razie on down always encouraged me to contact them. As of this writing my book is live and I have my author copies and am very happy with them. They still have a few more things to do for me per my contract, but I'm confident that everything will be fulfilled in a timely and professional manor. I have two more books that I will be writing and wouldn't hesitate to let Stratton Press handle them. And, maybe even re-publish my first book again down the road.
