I purchased this dress January 2018 from StyleWe and would like to return it. It must be illegal for this company to have a return policy that offers a small cash refund or credit since I must pay shipping to China. Now i have a dress that REALLY does not fit, not going to use your cash to taylor it. I am upset about not being able to return this dress. This company sent my orders late. They were returned. They promise to refund my account in 7 days. This has not been done. I have no merchandise. The merchandise was sent delayed, shoddy, poor quality, not as described, poor fit. FedEx charged me for customs in excess of the value of the items. Repeat emails get a canned response. Phone goes to VM. Emails are cut and paste responses. There is no " Kitty" or " Alice" in customer service. They are not reputable and have no intention of honoring their refund policy. This company violates laws on disclosure and transparency. This company is a scam and a fraud. I have yet to see a refund. The items cost more to return then they are worth. This has cost about $500. I have no items. They are all returned as unfit. The items came in plastic that was smashed. From Malaysia.

So, I ordered a dress, which was not cheap, and boxed it up for my wife at Christmas. She opened the box on Christmas Day, I picked up the dress and held it for her to see, and she immediately said, "no, that's just not right for me." I had mis-judged whether she would like it. So, I personally take the dress, Box it up and send it back. I did not ask for a refund, just store credit. My wife never tried the dress on, or really even held it. When I inquired about my store credit, here's what they said: we cannot give you a refund because your dress has a strong smell of perfume. How insulting. It's insulting to my intelligence. Can't they come up with a better reason for such a scheme? I boxed it. And I don't wear cologne. It absolutely had no "strong" smell of anything! Do yourself a favor, and stay away from these people. These kinds of things are the way they make their money. I suppose they will do anything they can to save on shipping costs, either to and from China.

The dresses are beautiful and high quality. The problem? Processing and delivery time. It takes forever to receive the item. So when it's been 2 weeks and my order hasn't even been processed, I turn to the chat feature on the site. Puh-lease! What a joke. The chat feature on the website is useless. I don't know if they are robots or brain-dead people on the other end of the chat, but they are useless and have no clue how to provide the right answer.
In the world of Amazon and Zappos, Stylewe is trailing so far behind on customer service and satisfaction, it's embarrassing.

Don't you carry real leather handbags any longer? All I see is PU which I think is plastic. In the past, I've purchased very lovely leather bags. Your handbag on the web seem to be mostly evening bags. It has been a while since I bought the bags so maybe your products have changed, I can't buy clothes because sizes are so off for American figures. As a 4-6, I had to purchase extra large!

Clothes look nothing like they do on their website. When you try to return it you find out returns must go to CHINA, where YOU pay shipping and customs. They offered a 15% refund which you will take because expense of shipping items to China is ridiculous, plus items may not make it within window of return. So out of $287 I can't wear, I got a measly $43 back. Oh and I get to keep the ugly ill-fitting clothes. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY SHOPPING HERE

I purchased two dresses from Stylewe, not realizing that they LIE on their website. Both looked awful and I immediately wanted to return them. And that is when I discovered what they DO NOT SAY on their website: that returns have to be shipped to China via REGISTERED service (ie, DHL, Fed Ex, or equivalent) at ENORMOUS cost. If you don't return using that service (which costs MORE than the price of the two dresses), they will not refund. In other words, whatever you buy you have to keep. If you return, it will cost you MORE than the purchase itself. NONE OF THIS IS STATED ON THE WEBSITE. BEWARE!

it's been 3 weeks since I placed an order, each week I emailed them to ask about the status. Such as where was my order & why was it taking so long.. I ordered 4 dresses. I received the items 2x later than the expected time frame (per their promises and expectations) and was only sent an email when the first package shipped out. I had to email the company two weeks later to find out the tracking numbers and status. The two dresses that had arrived the latest were, unfortunately, delivered later than when I needed them, so I chose to return them. In addition, one of those two dresses was advertised as a cotton blend, when it is in fact - per the tag and interior label - a 61% rayon, 31% polyamide, and 8% elastane blend. It is a very heavy and uncomfortable dress. When I pointed this out to customer service, this was their response:
"Thanks for your email. Upon checking with the designer: the Composition of item #121760 are correct. it's Cotton-blend.
Sorry that you are not satisfied with the item(s).
Our return center is located in Guangzhou, China. According to our return policy, customer is responsible for return shipping cost and any other related return charges (including possible custom fee). Your refund will be processed after our return center received and inspected the return package.

So I sent them a photo of the tag and interior label on the dress, and requested that - because of *their* false advertisement - they pay for the return shipping of that one dress. Here was their response:

So it is okay for them to grossly misrepresent the items they are selling, to not follow through with notifications, and even misquote/miscalculate the shipping time, but there are no exceptions for the return shipping policy even if it the return is required as a result of their own error.
I feel it is unacceptable to offer $42.50 of $170.00 worth of merchandise which I cannot even use. Again, I told them I wanted to return the dresses for a refund, but requested that they pay for the shipping of that one dress that was completely misrepresented. Here was their response:

I then addressed the issue of the dress that was being returned because of false advertisement on their end, and Alice quickly reaponded explaining to me that they do not offer prepaid labels. I will say, with all due respect, she was kind and honest about it. I then asked if I could speak to a supervisor or someone at a higher level to see if something could be done, and I received this response:

So this is the way this company handles their affairs. I have documented everything so that nobody from Stylewe can reply saying that they "tried to help me" in this particular thread and I didn't respond. I don't recommend doing business with them. It seems like they try to take advantage of the favorable exchange rate, and use the international barrier as an excuse to keep your money while conducting business in a dishonest way.
They ultimately offered that I keep the dress for a 100% store credit, but I wanted nothing else to do with them after this deceitful merry go round ride. I do not want a store credit that I will never use.
I went to paypal, they ultimately sided with the merchant saying that if I hadn't returned the dress, I could not get a refund, and then I went to my credit card - Capital One. Neither of them protected the consumer over the merchant, but my credit card company absorbed the expense because of the absurdity of the case. I appreciate that.
Just a note, PayPal reimburses up to $30 for return shipping fees. I returned the other dress back to China for $37.70 - the package went missing in transit between Beijing and Shenzhen. Go figure!

I purchased a dress from them in early October, 2017. Transaction # 9PH71512KG086061K. StyleWe says on its website that returns are easy, I would have to pay the shipping myself but does not mention that returns have to be shipped to China.
I understood that would be no problem because I had paid $12 for expedited shipping to receive the item.
The dress was not right. I contacted StyleWe within 24 hours of receiving the product and received an email from them basically telling me not to bother as it would cost me way too much money to return the item to China and it could get held up for a long time in customs, incurring more charges. Instead, they offered for me to keep the dress and they would refund me 15% of the cost.
I made a complaint to PayPal.
After several emails back and forth between myself and StyleWE, they offered to refund me 20% of the item's cost.
Meanwhile, I discovered that not only had there been many similar complaints about the StyleWe but they actually do have a distribution center in the US! I told StyleWe that I knew this and their answer was that I could only return an item to their US center if I was a repeat customer.
(Who would be repeat customer with this treatment?!).
I followed up with my PayPal complaint. Finally, I received a notice on PayPal that they would refund the item if I would return it to China! They also required that I provide them with tracking. I discovered that it would cost me over $60 to return the item and USPS does not track outside of the US. I also discovered that other customers with similar experiences had been told by StyleWE that their package had never arrived.
At that point, I called PayPal and spoke with a customer service representative.
They are looking into this for me.
This is the worst shopping experience of my life!
Stylewe is lying about having no return center in the US. Style DOES have a center for returns in the US. They allowed my friend to return to that location. We think it is because she had ordered more than one item and therefore became a "member". In an email from their customer service "
"We have a very exclusive membership here. Customers can return produsts when they become our member.
But sorry that you're not member level currently. So we are not able to provide a US return address."

StyleWE are not in the US but Mainland China. They DO have a distribution center in the US (NJ) but refuse to accept returns there unless you are a regular customer. Who would be a regular customer with this kind of scam!

I waited for 4 months to get my dresses and it's just inappropriate to provide service like this.
Speaking of the quality. It was horrible. I would never put any of these dresses on. Too embarrassing to wear, too embarrassing to even have them. And even though I ordered the L size, all of the dresses were much smaller.
Well, it's China, what did I expect? However, it's not an excuse for such an awful quality.

returning items
I purchased multiple dresses on line in two orders in august. The items arrived in dribs and drabs and as they came I tried them on and found that nothing fit and although the pictures of the items looked terrific when the items arrived the quality was not good. I requested return labels as I received the packages. The first time I tried to return something and requested a return label I was sent multiple attempts to get me to keep the merchandise with the offer of a discount on future purchases. I insisted on a return label and was sent one to Walnut California. Given that I continued to receive items I decided to wait to try on all that I ordered and do one big return. When I requested the additional return labels, I was sent labels for China. I packed up all my items. According to Stylewe they had to be in their original packages, tags attached and sent regular mail. I brought everything to the post office and they advised me not to send it regular mail without tracking, the mailing costs would be hundreds of dollars and I would need to pay taxes on all of the items. I took my package home, where it still remains and called paypal to initiate a dispute. After multiple conversations with agents at paypal, who during our conversations agreed with me that this was not acceptable, I received a dispute resolution that I should send my items back to China, I should track it and they would follow the items to assure my refund. In other words, they really didn't help me. I have now contacted my bank and they are checking into the matter. In the meantime I want to let people know about this fraudulent activity on the part of this website. On the website, they talk about easy exchanges and refunds and never mention that the company will try to dissuade you from returns by offering multiple discounts before they finally agree to take back the merchandise. To my knowledge and I checked fairly closely there is no mention that merchandise will have to be returned at the buyers cost to China.

I ordered 5 dresses and all of them were low quality. They were made of a cheap material and one of them had a hole in it. Three of them were in the smaller size, even though I used their sizing charts provided on their website. And the fifth one was bigger.

will not refund on returned items
I ordered 5 dresses on September 2, 2017. I received two dresses on September 22nd from Dubai and the other 3 on September 25th from China. Their clothes are very poorly made and did not fit properly nor did they match the quality of the online photos.
I emailed [protected]@stylewe.com to request a return label for 4 dresses. Their return center is in China. It took 3 requests before I finally received the shipping address. They kept offering me a deal where I would keep the dresses in return for a small percentage refund or store credit.
I followed their return instructions explicitly, shipping the dresses via USPS International Priority Mail (6-10 day delivery). It cost $51.50. My package cleared customs on October 5, 2017 at 8:34 a.m.
StyleWe refuses to refund my credit card for the return. As they have with many others here, they insist that they have not received the package. They keep offering me store credit. I don't want their low-quality clothes that do not fit properly.
I have filed complaints against them with my credit card company, the USPS, The Federal Trade Commission, and will continue to pursue other venues for reporting fraud.

I'm usually a pretty smart shopper - I loved the looks of the StyleWe products and they claimed to have easy returns. No, no, and no again. The clothing was awful - poorly fitting, inferior fabrics, and not even remotely appearing like it did online. I attempted to return my $125 order - only to learn it would cost $35 to send it back to CHINA. There is no wiggle room with this. I even appealed to PayPal and they still said I had to send it back to China. Please do not make the same mistake I did. I'm trying to buy the Shift Casual Bateau/boat neck long-sleeve sweater, number 1LWO953DE4. Items sent are of poor quality, and their sizing makes no sense, but you will be unable to return items because you have to send it back to China, they will not give you the correct return address, and if you send it to the origin address, they will claim they never received it. You will never get a refund from them, and you will want one when you see the item(s) they send you.
