Sumissura This company is a scam.

I ordered pants from this company that came in MASSIVE. I'm not positive whether the measurements were inaccurate or whether the company was incompetent, but I'm starting to suspect the latter. The pants were so large that the tailor I took them to had trouble bringing them in enough to fit. I ended up having to send them back and request they remake them with new measurements done with the tailor. Sumissura sent back new pants made from the first set of measurements that were - again - massive - and told me they wouldn't remake them and that I needed to get them tailored. Now they're unresponsive to my requests. Do not trust this company!

Recommendation: DO NOT BUY

Sumissura Disappointing Experience with Sumissura: Poor Fit, Misleading Customer Service, and Hidden Costs

I had a really bad experience with Sumissura. I ordered a pair of pants and when they arrived, they didn't fit me at all. I was really disappointed and frustrated because I had been looking forward to wearing them. I contacted customer service and they told me that I had to return the pants at my own cost in order for them to fix them and send me a new pair. I was really annoyed because I felt like it wasn't my fault that the pants didn't fit me, but I had to pay for the mistake anyway.

To make matters worse, the customer service representative told me that they would reimburse me for the shipping cost, but when I received the credit, it was only for my next purchase. I felt like I had been misled and that the company didn't really care about my experience as a customer.

The reason the pants didn't fit me was because the crotch measurement was too small, but I hadn't been asked for that measurement when I placed my order. I had to go to a local tailor to try to get the pants altered, but they told me that they couldn't fix them. It was really frustrating to have to go through all of that just to get a pair of pants that fit me.

To top it all off, I received a tax and duties invoice from Fedex for $20. I was really angry because I felt like I had already paid enough for the pants and I didn't think it was fair to have to pay even more money.

Overall, I would not recommend Sumissura to anyone. I think that the company is misleading and doesn't really care about its customers. I also think that the quality of the garments is not worth the high prices that they charge. If you're looking for high-quality clothing, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Sumissura Sumissura Suit Review: Disappointing Fit and Customer Service

I bought a suit from Sumissura's website, and I was very precise with my measurements. However, when the suit arrived, it was all wrong. The pants were too tight and short, and the jacket was bulky. I took it to my tailor, and he said that he couldn't fix it because of the "strange" way it was made. So, I had to send it back.

I emailed the company, and they asked for additional information in multiple emails, which was very annoying. Finally, after paying for shipping myself, I sent the items back. I received another suit, but the pants were weirdly proportioned. There was a huge area between the crotch and the top of the pant, creating a weird fold in the front pelvic area. Again, my tailor said he could not fix it because of the odd proportions, so I had to go through the whole return process again. I was forced to pay for shipping, and I received a pair of pants that were sufficient, but not great.

The suit overall looks fine, but I was hoping for better. It ultimately took about 4 months after my initial order to receive a wearable suit. I'm a bit skeptical about the quality of the stitching based on what my tailor said, but I've only worn it once. So far, it has held together, but we shall see.

Sumissura Disappointing Experience with Sumissura: Poor Quality and Lack of Customer Support

I recently had an experience with Sumissura and unfortunately, it was not a positive one. I placed an order for a skirt on May 16th, 2022 and was disappointed to find that it took significantly longer than 30 days to be delivered to me. This was especially frustrating because the ability to open a support ticket was removed after 30 days, leaving me with no recourse to address any issues with my order.

To make matters worse, when the $170 skirt finally arrived, it did not fit me at all. I decided to take it to a local tailor to see if it could be altered, but due to the significant sizing issues, the tailor was unable to make any adjustments. In fact, the tailor was shocked at how poorly the skirt was made, exclaiming that "it's a complete circle!" The skirt was so long that it fell to my ankles, despite being advertised as a high-waisted style.

Overall, my experience with Sumissura was extremely disappointing. The lack of customer service and return policy, combined with the long delivery delay and poor quality of the product, left me feeling frustrated and out $170. While the silk material was nice, it was not enough to make up for the other issues I encountered.

If you're considering ordering from Sumissura, I would strongly advise against it. In my opinion, it's not worth the risk of losing your money on a poorly made product with little to no customer support.

Sumissura Disappointing Fit: My Review of Sumissura's Navy Blue Wool Blend Slim-Fit Ankle Pantsuit (Oberon)

I recently purchased the Navy blue wool blend slim-fit ankle pantsuit (Oberon) from Sumissura for $255.22. Although the package arrived on time, I was disappointed with the fit of the suit. I even took the time to watch their measurement videos to ensure that I provided accurate measurements.

The jacket was the biggest issue. The chest area was extremely loose and seemed to be three sizes too big. The button placement was also off, as it was located under my belly button instead of at the smallest part of my waist. Additionally, the suit appeared to be a two-button suit with only one button added, instead of the one-button suit that I had ordered. This was not what I expected, nor was it what was shown on their website.

The pants were not terrible, but they were not what I had ordered. I had requested a slim fit, but the pants were more like culottes. The waist and hip area fit fine, but the thigh and knee area were very loose. They did not resemble the picture shown on their website. I understand that the material is not stretchy, but this was not explained on their website. If the material can only be made into a loose fit, then that should be clearly stated, and the slim fit option should not be offered.

Although Sumissura offers a 25% reimbursement for alterations, I am not sure if it will be enough to fix the jacket. I have submitted a support ticket on their website, but I have not received a response yet. Overall, I was disappointed with my purchase and hope that Sumissura can rectify the situation.

Sumissura Disappointing Experience with Sumissura: Ill-Fitting Shirts and Strict Customer Service Deadlines

I gotta say, I was really pumped to get my hands on some custom-made shirts from sumissura.com. I mean, who doesn't want clothes that fit like a glove, right? Unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived. When I received my order, I was pretty disappointed to find that all three shirts were ill-fitting, despite my careful measurements. I even double-checked my numbers because I've done some sewing myself and I was pretty confident in my measuring skills.

I immediately reached out to customer service to try and get the ball rolling on a solution. They had me take one of the shirts to a tailor, but even with their best efforts, the alterations would have cost more than what I paid for the shirts in the first place. Plus, there still might not have been enough fabric to make the necessary changes, especially in the arms which were super tight. I did get reimbursed for the tailoring, but I had some personal stuff going on that delayed me sending pictures of the shirts to customer service. By the time I did, I had missed their 30-day deadline for resolving the issue.

Now, I gotta warn you, if you're thinking of ordering from sumissura, you need to be on top of your customer service claim. They have strict deadlines and don't seem to have much sympathy for tailors taking longer than expected or for customers who can't prioritize taking pictures of their ill-fitting clothes quickly enough. I'm now stuck with three shirts that I spent a pretty penny on and can't even wear. Honestly, I don't even want to wear them because this whole process has been so stressful.

I get that companies need to resolve customer complaints in a timely manner, but sometimes life just gets in the way. It would have been nice to have a little more understanding from sumissura given that I did everything they asked of me to address their mistake. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from them again and I suggest you don't either.

Sumissura Disappointing Custom Suits from Sumissura: Cheap Fabric, Poor Fit, and Fake Buttons

I gotta say, I'm not one to leave a bad review, but I just had to share my experience with Sumissura. Me and my crew of five ordered custom suits for a wedding and let me tell you, it was a disaster. I was so nervous about getting the measurements right that I went to a tailor to make sure everything was spot on. But when my suit arrived, it was a total letdown. The waist was way too big, and they didn't even ask for my waist measurement, just my "stomach". What's up with that? And the crotch was so low that it made the rest of the leg look all wonky. Plus, the fabric was cheap and unlined, and I'm worried they're gonna rip if I bust a move on the dance floor.

The jacket was no better. The sleeves were way too long, and the bottom of the armpit hung way too low. And get this, the buttons on the cuffs were fake! They were sewn shut and just for show. What a ripoff.

Now, I will say that customer service was pretty responsive, and they refunded the bill for tailoring. But they also made it seem like the mistake was on my end, which really rubbed me the wrong way. I had my measurements taken by a tailor, for crying out loud! And they had the nerve to say "Remember that you can update your measurements in your user account, so you can avoid measurements mistakes in future orders." Ugh.

Honestly, even after getting it tailored, I still feel like crying when I put it on. If you're someone who's really particular about the little details, I would definitely not recommend ordering from Sumissura. But if you're not too fussy and don't mind a few flaws, then maybe it could work for you.

Sumissura Sumissura Review: Poor Quality, Slow Customer Support, and Unethical Practices

I recently made a purchase from Sumissura, ordering a two-piece suit and blouse. The jacket and blouse were perfectly fitted to my exact measurements, as promised by the tailors. However, I was disappointed to find that the pants had a strong odor of cigarette smoke and mold. It was clear that these were not my pants, as the measurements were entirely off.

When I contacted customer support, I was told that "these things happen" and that it was acceptable for a tailor-made product to not be tailored properly. This was unacceptable to me, as the measurements were so far off that they matched the auto-measurements that Sumissura assumed when I was completing my purchase.

It became clear to me that the factory staff, who I believe are treated more like slaves than employees, have impossible targets and an overwhelming amount of work to complete. As a result, they only complete the most expensive parts of the suit, leaving the rest to be ditched.

While the company does offer a 25% reimbursement for adjustments, the response time from customer support is slow and often takes days or even a week to receive a response. When I requested new pants to be sent, the company stated that they would only reimburse me and that I would have to pay for shipping if I wanted new pants.

I purchased this suit for three events and gave over two months notice, but the company failed to deliver a quality product in time. In fact, I ended up purchasing pants off the rack that fit better than the ones provided by Sumissura.

Overall, I believe that Sumissura is a dodgy business that is not fit to be running. The company's practices are anti-human rights and do not align with modern ethical standards. While I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews before making my purchase, I hope that others will learn from my mistake and avoid this company.

Sumissura Sumissura Review: Not for Hourglass Figures - Poor Fit and Customer Service

So, I gotta tell you about my experience with Sumissura. My friend got a suit from them and it fit like a glove. But, let me tell you, I'm a bit curvy and it was a whole different story for me. I gave them all my measurements, including the fact that my waist and hips have a 28 cm difference and my bust and waist have a 25 cm difference. But, they didn't seem to understand what an hourglass figure is. They thought I was just round and short.

The pants were a disaster. They were loose on my hips, but so tight on my waist that I couldn't even sit down. And the crotch was way too low. The pant legs tapered so much that they looked ridiculous and were several inches shorter than my measurements. The jacket was no better. The arms were way too short and there was no waist to it. It was like a shapeless tent, but for some reason, it was tight around my shoulders, so I couldn't even move my arms forward.

I reached out to them to fix the suit, but even after sending them photos with the problem areas circled and highlighted, they still didn't get it right. The replacement jacket was better, but still not great. They still didn't understand that my bust is bigger than my waist, so it was more of a straight-line sack than anything else. And the pants were still terrible. The waist was a bit better, but still too tight around my hips to sit down comfortably. And those tapered pant legs made me look like a short, dumpy Tim Burton character.

Honestly, I didn't even bother sending it back again for repairs. The cost and effort of postage were just too much. I just took the loss and learned my lesson about ordering cheap stuff from overseas. I'm pretty sure they don't actually tailor the suits like they claim to. They probably just have a few generic sizes in stock and pick the one that matches your largest measurement. If you're straight and slender, their outfits might be okay. But if you've got curves, don't even bother.

Sumissura Sumissura Coat Review: Tailoring on Point, Fit Disastrous

I was super stoked to order a coat from Sumissura that would fit me like a glove and that I could design myself. I filled out all the forms with my deets, like my height, weight, and age, and they turned it into measurements. I checked them twice and they were pretty darn close, which was impressive.

When the coat arrived, it was a beaut. The tailoring was on point. But, alas, it was not made to fit me. I was practically squeezed into it. The only place it fit was in the shoulders. I had even lost a few pounds, so it should have been a little loose.

Luckily, they had a handy dandy spot on their site for opening a ticket and uploading pics, so I did all that and got an email back pretty quick. They asked me to send the coat back, which cost me a little less than $25. They also asked me to re-measure, just to make sure the mistake wasn't on my end. All the original measurements were within 1/4" of the new ones.

Then, I waited. And waited. It took a whole month to get the new coat back. Meanwhile, they sent me emails reassuring me that the new one would fit like a glove. But, when it arrived, I was mortified. The fit was all wrong. It looked like they just added 2" to every measurement from the first coat, including the shoulders. Now, the shoulders hung down over my arms and there was a weird wrinkle down the back under the arms. I doubt that coat would fit anyone. The shape was just all off.

I would have to take the coat to a tailor to get it fitted correctly, which they said they would reimburse me for. But, I'm not convinced it's fixable and I've already spent enough time, energy, and money on this disaster. I'm certainly not going to spend more money that I may never get back.

I emailed them to express my dissatisfaction with the coat and they never even replied. The only good thing about this experience is that I won't have to wonder what it's like to have them make me a coat anymore. I know, and it's not good. I'm also relieved that I didn't order the more expensive fabric or extra linings because they don't give refunds at all!

This is not a company I would recommend to anyone, under any circumstances. I'm out $239 for the coat plus the cost of shipping it back. Lesson learned.

Sumissura Sumissura Review: My Experience Ordering Custom Shirts Online

I was a bit scared to order from Sumissura after reading some negative reviews about the quality of their clothes. However, I decided to take a chance and order some shirts from them. As a professional who works long hours, I am very particular about the clothes I wear. I need to be comfortable, but also look neat and professional. Overall, I was happy with my order. I ordered seven shirts and the fabrics were decent, and the fit was great. They were exactly what I wanted, and I don't regret ordering from them.

I have had custom shirts made in Hong Kong before, and they were super nice. However, that was because I could choose premium fabrics from samples at the tailor's shop. The highest price for a "premium" fabric on Sumissura was only about $99 for a shirt. This tells me that the fabric will be good, but not great. While there may be exceptions, I generally follow the rule that the higher the price, the better the fabric.

If you're considering ordering from Sumissura, here are some tips to help ensure that you're happy with your order:

1) Be honest about your weight.
2) Take your measurements multiple times to confirm their accuracy. If possible, have a tailor take your measurements because they know exactly how to measure your body. Remember the phrase: $#*! in/$#*! out. If you don't take the time to get accurate measurements, your shirt may not fit properly. Don't rush this part. I spent a lot of time on my measurements because I wanted my shirts to be longer than what's normally available. I have a long torso and hate shirts that end above my crotch line. I prefer my crotch line to be covered, so I needed a longer blouse/shirt. I was very happy with my shirts based on this alone.
3) Choose the best fabric available. Sumissura doesn't have a great selection of fabrics, so your choices are limited. Whatever they offer, make sure it's the best they have. It seems like they have a lot of low-quality fabrics in their inventory.
4) Try to avoid customer service if possible. I wanted a customized French sailor shirt and was willing to pay extra for a good fabric, but they didn't understand my request and kept offering to make the shirt out of a fabric I didn't like. It's a Chinese company, so there may be a language barrier. If you need customer service help, your battle may already be lost.

I believe the negative reviews from other customers, so I can't guarantee that your experience will be good. This was just my experience, and I was pleasantly surprised with my order. I'll wear the clothes for a few weeks to see how they hold up to laundering/dry cleaning and will update my review with that information. These are huge issues for me.

Everything arrived on time, and the shirts were well packaged.

Sumissura women's suit

I bought a suit from sumissura in August.

The jacket is too tight around the shoulders.

I submitted a ticket but the sizing dialogue would not accept the correct sizing for the shoulders, which is 2 inches wider than what they took down.

The approved tailor in my area says they no longer work for hockerty and that the suit cannot be fixed.

Hockerty/Sumissura are now ignoring my messages. They have a legal duty to remake the jacket.

Desired outcome: I want either a refund or for them to remake the jacket correctly with 19.5 inches shoulders as advised by the tailor THEY sent me to.

Sumissura Disappointing Experience with Sumissura: Poor Fit, Cheap Fabric, and No Refunds

I recently had an experience with Sumissura and I must say, it was quite disappointing. I had ordered a suit from their website during the summer and was excited to receive it. However, when it arrived, I was shocked to find that it was two sizes too big for me. I had provided detailed measurements, so I couldn't understand how this had happened.

I contacted customer service and after almost a month of back and forth, they offered to remake the suit for me. I was hopeful that this would solve the issue, but unfortunately, the new suit still didn't fit properly. To make matters worse, the quality of the fabric was cheap and it wrinkled extremely easily.

I had ordered the suit with the promise of a high-quality custom made suit, but now months later, I ended up with an unwearable suit and was out about $350 Canadian. Customer service kept insisting that I send back measurements and have the suit remade, but they refused to refund anything. It made me wonder how cheap the fabric must be if they can afford to keep remaking it instead of refunding even a partial price.

Honestly, I would have been better off just getting a suit from Zara. It would have been better quality, a much better fit, and not to mention cheaper. It's a shame that Sumissura didn't live up to their promises and left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Sumissura Sumissura Review: Unprofessional Lining and Poor Customer Service

I recently purchased a woman's skirt suit from Sumissura for a whopping $560. I was excited to select the lining of my choice, but unfortunately, my experience with the company was less than satisfactory. When I received the suit jacket, I noticed that two different materials were used for the lining. The sleeves had a white striped lining, while the rest of the suit had a dark-brick orange paisley lining. This made the suit look unprofessional and not at all what I had expected.

When I contacted Sumissura to get this issue corrected, I was told that the white striped lining used on the sleeves was their standard lining. I was surprised to hear this, as nowhere on their website did they mention that a standard lining would be used for the sleeves. I even mentioned that I had previously ordered a suit with all gray-paisley lining, but I received no additional communication from the company.

I was disappointed with Sumissura's customer service, which was non-existent and lacked accountability. I wanted them to admit their error and at least send material for the correct lining and cover the cost to have the suit fixed. However, this did not happen, and I was left with a suit that did not meet my expectations.

Overall, I would not recommend Sumissura as a company to purchase from. Their lack of transparency and poor customer service make them an unreliable option for anyone looking to buy a suit. I hope that they can improve their services in the future, but until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Sumissura Terrible Experience with Sumissura: Poor Quality and Bad Tailoring

I had a really bad experience with Sumissura. I was so excited to order a suit from them, especially since they advertised the "highest quality" wool. But when I received my suit, I was really disappointed. The fabric was so thin and transparent, and it attracted lint and hair like crazy. I couldn't believe that this was supposed to be the best quality wool they had.

But that wasn't even the worst part. The tailoring was really bad. The zipper was sewn on crooked, the seams were all bunched up, and the buttons didn't even work. And to top it off, the blazer was dirty and they didn't even bother cutting off all the threads. I was really upset that I had spent so much money on something that was completely unwearable.

When I contacted Sumissura about getting a refund, they refused to give me my money back. They only offered me 20% of the value to spend on their website. But why would I want to spend more money on their junk? And to make matters worse, I had to pay for the shipping back if I wanted them to fix it. It was such a hassle and I felt like they were just trying to scam me.

To add insult to injury, they lied to my credit card company when I opened a dispute. I couldn't believe that they would stoop so low just to keep my money.

Honestly, I would not recommend Sumissura to anyone. You can find a better quality suit at H&M or Forever 21 for a fraction of the price. And if you really want a good quality suit, just spend the money elsewhere and have it tailored. Trust me, you will regret buying from Sumissura like I did. So please, avoid them at all costs!

Sumissura Sumissura Tuxedo Review: Poorly Cut, Cheap Fabric, and No Refunds

I recently purchased a Black shiny Tuxedo with shawl lapels from Sumissura and let me tell you, it was a complete disaster. I have never seen such a poorly cut suit in my entire life. It was definitely not made to my measurements and the fabric was so cheap that it felt like I could use it to clean my floors. To make matters worse, the suit was shiny AF. I mean, I know it's in the name, but I wasn't expecting to look like a disco ball.

I was extremely disappointed with my purchase and to top it off, Sumissura doesn't offer refunds. I suspect that all the positive reviews are fake because I can't imagine anyone being satisfied with their products. If you're thinking about making a purchase, I strongly advise against it. I wasted ?200 on a suit that I needed for a wedding and it was a complete waste of money.

The only thing that Sumissura can do for you is make amendments up to 25% of the value of the item. But what's ?50 worth of amendments going to do for a rubbish suit? If you have money to waste, then go ahead and make a purchase. But if you're like me and you don't want to throw your money away, then stay clear away from this company.

Looking back, I can only be mad at myself for not reading their returns policy beforehand. It's a complete shambles. I hope that my review will save someone else from making the same mistake that I did.

Sumissura Disappointed with Sumissura's Quality and Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Sumissura. I've been a loyal customer for years, relying on them to provide me with quality garments that actually fit my tall frame (I'm 6'2"). But lately, it seems like their quality and customer service have both taken a nosedive.

Just recently, I ordered a blazer from them that was completely unwearable. It looked like I was trying to squeeze into a blazer that was two sizes too small - definitely not the look I was going for. And the kicker? I used the same measurements from a previous order of a similar Sumissura blazer that fit me perfectly. What gives?

So I took the blazer to my tailor to see if he could salvage it. He did what he could, but it still wasn't great. When I contacted Sumissura about getting a refund, they offered me store credit instead of a refund to my credit card, even though their policy says they'll refund up to 25% of the garment price for the cost of the tailor. And to top it off, the customer service rep I talked to was pretty rude and unhelpful.

Honestly, I'm not sure I'll be shopping at Sumissura again. It's a shame, because they used to make great-fitting, high-quality clothes. But if this is the kind of service and quality I can expect from them now, I'll have to look elsewhere.

Sumissura Sumissura Review: Frustrating Experience with Inconsistent Sizing and Misleading Information

I've had a few experiences with Sumissura and unfortunately, they haven't all been positive. One time, I ordered a blazer and it came out perfect - I was really happy with it. However, in the same order, the jacket was 5 inches too small and the pants were 5 sizes too big. I was really disappointed, but I decided to give them another chance. The next order (with the same measurements) they sent a jacket that was 4 inches too small. I was really frustrated at this point.

Every time something goes wrong, they ask you to send pictures of your measurements. It's really important to have someone available to hold the measuring tape and take the picture. If you don't, you might have trouble getting the right fit. Even after I sent the exact same measurements that I uploaded, they still didn't make the jacket or pants right. This has been going on for months and it's been really frustrating. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company.

One thing that I found really misleading about Sumissura is that they're based in China, but they give you the impression that they're based in Europe. They even had me send my jacket back to New York one time. FedEx sent it back to me saying the address was not theirs and it was refused. It was a waste of $20.

Overall, I would say that it's probably better to save time and order from a reputable company and just get it tailored. This stuff isn't worth the hassle. The quality isn't even that good.

Sumissura Disappointing Experience with Sumissura: Lack of Attention to Detail and Poor Customer Service

So, I recently purchased a pair of custom pants for my wife from Sumissura. I followed their instructions for taking measurements and received the pants. However, as expected, the pants needed some tailoring. I took them to a tailor who made some adjustments, but they still didn't seem quite right to me.

I decided to reach out to Sumissura and sent them pictures of the pants, asking if they thought they fit correctly. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a response right away. After several requests for help, they finally responded, but it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for.

They told me that they would update my wife's measurements so that the next order would be "perfect." However, I was confused because they didn't even know how much the tailor had taken up and where. When I asked them about this, they admitted that it was just an automatic reply. I felt like they were just playing with words and not really looking at each order or email follow-ups.

Overall, I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism from Sumissura. I have asked for a full refund because I no longer have faith in them since they have lied to me on several email exchanges. I am skeptical that they will adhere to their money-back guarantee.

In conclusion, I would not recommend Sumissura to anyone looking for custom clothing. Their lack of attention to detail and poor customer service make them a less than desirable option.

Sumissura Sumissura Clothing Review: Disappointing Quality and Misleading Images

The clothes that I bought from Sumissura were a complete disappointment. I was expecting a tuxedo, but what I received was more like a pair of pajamas. The fabric was extremely cheap and thin, and it was see-through. I wouldn't even consider wearing it to a formal event. The garments had no shape to them, and they looked like a garbage bag. I was extremely upset when I received them, especially considering the cost. The clothes were shipped in a bag, and they came out completely crumpled up like a tissue. The fabric was so bad that I was afraid to iron it because it felt like plastic.

If you're unsatisfied with your purchase, Sumissura offers to pay a portion of your re-tailoring costs. However, what good is that if the quality of the fabric itself is garbage? I was shocked that they're allowed to intentionally mislead people like that and get away with it. The images on their site are completely misleading, and what you get won't even look close to that. I would give it zero stars if I could.

I would strongly advise against buying anything from Sumissura. You can get a better quality suit at a department store for the same price. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Sumissura Terrible Experience with Sumissura: Poor Quality, Bad Fit, and Horrible Customer Service

Sumissura is a company that I would not recommend to anyone. I had a terrible experience with them and here are some of the issues I encountered:

Firstly, the quality of the pants I ordered was extremely poor. The material was so thin that I could easily rip it with my hands. It felt like I was wearing pajama pants instead of dress pants. I have purchased better quality pants from stores like Banana Republic and Nordstrom Rack for a much cheaper price. To make matters worse, the pants were manufactured in Shanghai and it was even printed on the box!

Secondly, despite taking my exact measurements, the fit of the pants was terrible. I followed the measurement video provided by Sumissura, but the pants were still a horrible fit. They barely stayed up on me and were supposed to be slim fit. It was a complete waste of my time and money.

Lastly, the customer service was absolutely horrible. They refused to refund me for any reason, even though they knew they were scamming me. It was like dealing with one of those Chinese companies that show one picture on their website and give you something completely different. All they offered was to pay for tailoring or to ship me another pair of pants. However, the quality was so bad that I didn't even want to bother with the hassle of tailoring or receiving another pair.

Overall, Sumissura is a complete scam and I will be taking legal action against them. I would advise anyone considering purchasing from them to think twice and look elsewhere for better quality and customer service.

Sumissura Sumissura Suit Review: Complete Scam, Waste of Money, and Disgusting Garment

This is the worst garment I have ever purchased in my life. I spent $400 on this suit and it was a complete waste of money. The suit is huge, it feels cheap, looks cheap, and even smells cheap. It's disgusting. My dad can fit into it better than I can. I thought I was getting a tailored suit, but it turns out they just adjust large suits. They wouldn't know what tailoring was if it smacked them in the face. This is a complete scam.

I bought this suit from Sumissura, a website that seems legit. They have a customer service team that makes you feel like everything is coming together. I tried to cancel my order shortly after I placed it because I read some bad reviews, but it wasn't possible. I should have taken that as a sign.

Where do I even start with this suit? The shoulders are clearly pinched and the seams are uneven. The pants are just giant pants pulled in at the waist. They didn't even try to make it look like they made an effort. This is just a money-making machine. I have other tailored suits and this one doesn't even compare. Don't waste your money on Sumissura. You will be disappointed.

And to those people giving positive reviews, I'm convinced you're either a bot or you've never experienced wearing a nice garment that's actually made to fit. You've been ripped off.

Sumissura Unable to provide delivery window and deceptive conduct

Order placed 9 Apr and confirmed same day with 2 week estimated delivery time. 2.5 weeks later advised they had supply chain and logistics issues and my order was delayed with no revised delivery date. I requested cancellation and a refund as production had not yet started. This was denied despite no foreseeable delivery window over a month after my order was placed. Furthermore the reason for the delay would have been impacting them, thus known, when I placed the order - but instead of disclosing at the time they waited till my right to cancel in 24hrs had passed and intentionally vague about the status of my order. Customer service is condescending and lacks customer centricity. There is no customer complaints escalation process. The jurisdiction means that there are limited opportunities to access any consumer protections.

Desired outcome: Cancellation of order with full refund of the order.

Sumissura Avoid them

This was the most unpleasant surprise to me. Simissura is a company with a perfect reputation, so many positive reviews about its unique and high-quality clothes.
Maybe I was an exception. one out of hundreds. I ordered one of the most expensive items from their website for my birthday. What I received looked more than just terrible. First of all, it was smaller. I ordered my ordinary size, so you can't blame it on me.
I couldn't even put it on as it was toooooo small. Speaking of quality... Honestly, I have seen better, but it's ok in general. Maybe it's just not worth its price...
Been trying to figure out how to return, certainly, I won't keep this to myself...
