I went to Superior Car Credit in E. Dundee to get a car, but they did me dirty. They went ahead and signed me up for a car without my permission. And when I tried to talk to them about it, they wouldn't budge on the loan terms. They also had the nerve to install a GPS immobilization system in the car, even though I never agreed to it in the paperwork. It's just not right, you know?

I'm really disappointed with Superior Car Credit in E. Dundee. I bought a car for $12,000 and within one year, I've had to get it fixed five times. Two of those times, I had to get the entire engine replaced. It's frustrating because I've only had the vehicle for less than a year.
To make matters worse, when my car is in the shop for repairs, I asked if I could get a test drive in the meantime. However, they refused my request right after I made my car payment. I don't understand why they wouldn't allow it, especially when I need a whole engine replacement that will take up to a week.

I got a car from them in July . I made 5 biweekly payments for the vehicle. The payment was due on September 10, but I tried to pay it on September 12. They locked me out of my online account, so I couldn't pay. They took back the car on September 13 because my payment was 2 days late. They said I had a grace period in the store to make the payment. When I talked to the financing department, they said the late payment was the first one. I made 5 payments before that on the same website they locked me out of.

Turns out, that was a lie. Now I'm trying to get a new car, but it's been impossible. The reason is that the car they sold me has a high negative equity. I owe $8,610 on a car that's only worth $2,000! On top of that, they increased my monthly payment from $200 to $240 every two weeks starting in July . So now I'm paying $480 a month. Can you believe it? And to make matters worse, my interest rate is a whopping 28%. I can't even trade in the car because the value is too low. Every dealership I've visited has told me there's nothing they can do. I had no idea about any of these changes until I called them, and when I confronted them, they simply confirmed it. This dealership should be shut down! They lie to people about everything!

We had to jump-start it using my vehicle and let it run for 20 minutes. This made him late for work. He drove it around town to charge the battery, as we didn't want it to die again if he went 40 miles out of town. He brought it back home and turned it off, but it still wouldn't start. He ended up taking my vehicle to work, leaving me with no car for emergencies. We tried to contact Superior Car Credit, but they didn't answer all week. Then, they expected a payment on Friday and finally called us because we hadn't paid. The finance manager was really rude and said it wasn't their problem. I told them it was their problem because they sold us a lemon and we couldn't use it at all. She then transferred us to the general manager, who apologized and said they would send a tow truck to pick up the car. After 3 days, they finally called and said it had a bad battery. They replaced the battery, but I had to pay them another $200. Now, they won't give us the car back because I didn't pay the initial payment. I'm not paying for a car that didn't work, especially when they didn't return our calls for a whole week. They are refunding my $200 payment, but I also want a refund of the $100 down payment.

Neither of them works together to resolve any issues. You can find many websites where people in my area talk about how bad their service is. I bought a car from them in November , and the car was fine until 5 months ago when I started getting codes on my car. I had to get an emissions test, and it turns out I got 10 codes and my muffler needs a lot of work. A week later, something went wrong with my engine, costing me more money. It takes them a month to 3 months to provide service, depending on their workload. They think I didn't bring the car in for service, but I have paperwork to prove it, and I've been keeping up with the oil changes. So, the option was to let them do the work, but I couldn't afford to pay extra on my car note. Therefore, I decided to get it fixed on my own time and try to work out something with payments until I can get it fixed. They were disrespectful and didn't give me any options. We all go through something, but they only seem to care about benefiting themselves and not about their customers' wallets and how this is affecting us. It's unfair and not right. I have also been on time with my payments, but I didn't make a full payment on 2/25, and they repossessed my car this week. I've never experienced this in my life. I know it takes a few missed payments for repossession, which I am not. And they don't take into consideration my situation with the car and on-time payments. I have had cars that are paid off from second-hand car lots, and I have never had this issue. So, I would like to do something about it and get this issue resolved so it doesn't happen to the next person. They need to update their policies to help the customer in times of need if necessary. They also haven't been reporting my on-time payments to the credit bureau, and it doesn't show up.
