Surfshark VPN Review: Not Worth the Hassle
I gotta say, Surfshark ain't all that great. I mean, sure, it's supposed to keep your online activity private and all that jazz, but it's just not worth the hassle. I've had so many websites not work when I'm using it, and the tech support is always telling me to change this setting or that setting. It's like, come on, can't you just make it work right the first time?
And don't even get me started on the number of times it breaks. It's overwhelming, really. And when it is working, the performance is just so slow. I swear, it feels like it's taking twice as long to load anything when I've got Surfshark turned on.
Honestly, I end up turning it off more often than not, just so I can actually get things done online. But then what's the point of even having a VPN, you know? It's supposed to keep you safe and secure, but if you can't even use it without it causing more problems than it solves, what's the point?
And it's not like Surfshark is the only VPN that's like this. I've tried plenty of others, and they're all pretty much the same. It's like they're all just trying to make a quick buck off of people who are worried about their online privacy.
So yeah, I wouldn't recommend Surfshark or any other VPN, really. They're just not worth the hassle.
Surfshark Review: Beware of Location-Based Billing and Poor Customer Service
Yo, just wanted to give y'all a heads up about Surfshark. They be billing based on their location, not yours. So even if you get an invoice or confirmation with the date you ordered in your country, it might actually be a day earlier based on where they at. And let me tell you, that [censored] cost me $166CDN in charges. They billed me before my credit card cycle even started in THEIR COUNTRY!
So I hit them up to try and fix it, but damn, their customer service was whack. They couldn't even address the issue and just asked me to stay as a client. Like, are you kidding me? Ain't nobody got time for that.
Honestly, there ain't nothing special about their service anyways. So I cancelled that [censored] real quick. Don't waste your time or money with Surfshark. They don't care about accommodating global customers or providing good customer service. Straight up zero outta ten.
Surfshark VPN Review: Great Price and Support, But Connection Issues
I gotta say, Surfshark is a pretty solid VPN. The price is great and the support is always there for ya, 24/7. I went for the two year deal and I gotta say, when I'm connected, my computer runs like a dream. No lag, no fuss. But, I gotta dock a couple stars for the connection issues I've been having. It takes forever to boot up and connect. I timed it and it took a whopping 2 minutes and 45 seconds just to show up on my computer after double clicking the icon. And since the last two updates, I keep getting a message saying "detect another VPN". I don't have another VPN, so I gotta dismiss that message at least 3 times before I can even get started. And then, to top it all off, I get a "Surfshark not responding" message. It's a real pain in the butt, let me tell ya. All in all, it takes me about 4 minutes and 45 seconds just to connect. It's super annoying. I reached out to support and they told me to uninstall the program with Revo uninstaller. I did it 5 times, but I'm still getting the same messages. I tried all the protocols, but nothing seems to work. I'm not sure if anyone else is having these issues, but despite all that, I would still recommend Surfshark. It's a good VPN at a great price, and the support is always there to help ya out.
Unleashing the Power of Creativity: A Review of 'The War of Art' by Steven Pressfield
Folks, please be aware of this company, they are charlatans and crooks. From and HONEST review I have been dealing with them and now reported them to MasterCard Fraud Investigation team.
They are refusing to return my monies and as I promised them in my last contact, I will on these review sites call them out as what they are Petty Thief's.and as I told them FEEL FREE to press charges against me for naming you this way if you have the courage!
As like others I have been duped for the subscription fee and now warned them I will continually demean their name on these review sites until they return my money or press legal charges against me
Also folks do not be duped by these positive reviews?...is it not strange that every time there is a negative?.out flows a bunch of positive reviews!...it is automated AI Bot replies as are the response nonsense letters you receive from them when questioning them and pursuing your fees return
Disappointing Experience with Surfshark VPN: Unfulfilled Commitments and Limited IP Addresses
I bought a VPN plan from Surfshark about two years ago for a great deal of $48, which was supposed to last for 27 months. However, I recently received an email from them stating that my plan was about to expire and that the new plan they were offering was only for one year and for $58. I was disappointed because I had received an email from them when I first signed up stating that the next plan I would receive would be the same offer I had received.
I decided to reach out to their customer service team to inquire about the discrepancy. I explained that I had received an email stating that my plan would be for 27 months and for $48, and that I expected them to honor that commitment. To my surprise, they responded by offering me a two-year plan for the same amount of $58.
While I appreciated the gesture, I couldn't help but feel a bit frustrated that they were only offering me the same deal that they were offering new customers. It felt like they were only doing it to keep me as a customer, rather than because they valued my loyalty.
To make matters worse, I found that their VPN software didn't always work well in my area of interest, Canada. They only had an IP address for a specific city, which could easily be detected by Bell Media software and blocked streaming.
Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Surfshark. While their customer service team was responsive, I felt like they were not respecting their commitments to their customers. I would recommend looking for other VPN providers who are more respectful of their clients and have better reviews.
SurfShark VPN Review: Kill Switch and Location Issues
I wanna talk about SurfShark, which I used a couple years ago. I got it cuz it had good reviews and the price was right. But it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. They got this thing called a kill switch, which is supposed to block all internet traffic if the VPN ain't connected. But lemme tell ya, it ain't foolproof. One time, I accidentally opened up TOR browser, which is supposed to be super secure and all that, and it connected like there was no kill switch at all. I could download stuff and browse like SurfShark wasn't even there. But my other browsers were blocked. So I gotta ask, if TOR can get around SurfShark's security so easy, how many other apps can do the same without me even knowing? That's a big security risk, if you ask me.
So I told SurfShark about it, and they straight up called me a liar and said it was impossible. But when I asked for my money back, they gave it to me right away. They knew something was up, but they didn't wanna admit it. So I don't trust 'em and I ain't gonna use their service again.
Oh, and another thing. Sometimes their app would say I was connected to one location, but when I checked on ipleak.net or ip8.com, it would say I was somewhere else entirely. Like, I'd tell it to connect to the Netherlands, and it would say it was connected to the Netherlands. But then I'd check on one of them sites and it would say I was in London, UK. Like, what's up with that? Can't trust 'em after all that.
Beware of Surfshark's ToS: My Account Got Suspended Without Explanation
I've been using Surfshark for a while now, and I gotta say, I was pretty happy with it. I signed up for their 2-year plan, which promised unlimited use, and I used it for all sorts of things like email, social media, and Google accounts. But then, out of nowhere, my account got suspended for supposedly violating their Terms of Service (ToS).
I was pretty shocked because I always thought I was following their rules. And to make matters worse, they wouldn't give me a refund for the rest of my subscription. Even though I had a lot of time left on my plan, they said I couldn't get my money back because of the alleged ToS violation.
I tried to get some answers from their customer service, but they didn't really give me a clear explanation of what I did wrong. It's frustrating because I still don't really know what happened.
I get that they need to have rules, but they should make it clear what those rules are. Nobody wants to have their account suspended without a good reason. And if they're going to take away someone's access to the service, they should at least explain why.
I'm still waiting to hear back from Surfshark, and I hope we can resolve this. But if you're thinking about signing up for their service, I'd recommend reading their ToS really carefully. You don't want to end up in the same situation I'm in.
Overall, I still think Surfshark can be a good VPN service. But they need to work on their communication and transparency. When it comes to people's access to the service and their money, they need to be more clear about what's going on.
