Awful, scammy, seedy franchise for Heathrow Airport. They miraculously found chunk out of a tyre on return of vehicle. I had no knowledge of this at pick up but later found a photo of the wheel arch that happened to have also recorded the prior damage. In the interim they charged for new tyre. Surprice Car Rentals Outrageous charge for minor scratch!!

The cheap price (5 euro/day) turned out to be too good to be true. They get their money anyway they can.

The employee who inspected our car when we returned looked and looked unitl he found a barely visible scratch. You know the kind; it will disappear with one swipe of a cloth with a little car polish.

AND FOR THIS THEY CHARGED US 202 EURO! Wouldn't even talk to us about it and treated us like trash at the counter.

We recommend Europcar. They told us they don't even look at surface scratches or dents that are less then 10 cm.

Surprice Car Rentals The worst experience

We rented a car at Belgrade airport. This was by far the WORST experience so far:

- They didn't provide all the services contracted online- we booked wifi and the child seat. They managed to find a seat at the end, but we had to take the car without wifi for the same price.

- Insurance that we booked was not valid for them, so they made the offer with their own insurance.

- And the worst thing is that they tried to SCAM US when we dropped off the car. They wanted to charge a parking fine, while the fault was made one day before we took the car. The guy at their desk refused to contact the parking service and acted rude, saying that we should contact them, it's not their business. When I said I don't have any phone credit left, and we are in a hurry to catch a plane, he said he can't lend me a phone by any means. After recharging at the gas station near by, I contacted the parking service that confirmed that the fault was made on a day before we took the car. After a parking service lady had confirmed that directly to the desk guy (I passed the phone to him), he didn't even apologize.

It is so said that services like this have a licence to operate. So, friendly advice, AVOID THIS AGENCY.

Surprice Car Rentals Unacceptable treatment and shady practices: My review of Surprice Car Rentals

My recent experience with Surprice Car Rentals was less than satisfactory. I had to wait for one hour and ten minutes in line before getting to the counter. The staff was extremely rude and unfriendly. They acted as if we were stupid, switching between English and Portuguese words without any explanation and ignoring me when I spoke Brazilian Portuguese.

The company seems to be shady as they kept adding little extra things to pay for without any proper explanation. They seem to assume that we should know everything without them having to tell us. This left me feeling frustrated and confused.

If you're Brazilian, I suggest you don't rent a car from this agency. The way they treated me was unacceptable and made me feel like trash. Despite booking in advance, my experience was far from smooth and I would not recommend this rental company to anyone.

Surprice Car Rentals Terrible Experience with Surprice Car Rental at Antalya Airport: No Car, No Refund!

Booked car in Antalya, Turkey airport, but no one appeared on arrival. Had to ring and wait. Office manager refused to hand over the car as he claimed my cards weren't credit cards and holding a deposit wasn't possible (even though they were valid credit cards). Stranded in Antalya for one night and booked with another rental company with no issues. However, still haven't received prepayment for Surprice booking.

Surprice Car Rentals Beware of Surprice Car Rentals: Deceptive Fees and Charges

Don't even bother with Surprice Car Rentals (surpricecars.com), they are really bad.
These guys will try to trick you with low prices, but then they will come up with all kinds of fees and charges that you never expected. Plus, they will find every excuse to charge you extra for even the slightest damage to the car that you didn't even know was there.
And their so-called "basic insurance" is really expensive compared to other rental companies. You'll be much better off with a well-known brand like Avis or Hertz, where you know what you're getting.
If you use Surprice Car Rentals, be prepared to be ripped off. You might think you're getting a good deal, but in the end, you'll end up paying way more than you expected. So avoid them at all costs!

Surprice Car Rentals Stay Away from Surprice Car Rentals: Sketchy Charges and Shady Business Practices

OMG you guys, Surprice Car Rentals (surpricecars.com) was a really bad experience and I'm not sure if I'll ever use them again. We had a super sketchy situation when returning the car. They totally charged us extra money from our VISA with no good reason. NOT COOL.

So get this, apparently we drove through some automatic toll gates on the way from Faro to Lagos. I had no idea there were even toll roads, but apparently they're registered on this little windowbox in the car. The toll for that route was only 6.60 ?, but then Surprice Car Rental charges a whopping 180 ? for it!? That seems like some major shady business to me. They just took the money right from our account without any kind of explanation or notice. It's not like they showed us any proof that we had even passed through any tolls, so I don't trust them at all.

This has left a really bad taste in my mouth about Surprice Car Rentals, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. It's a total shame because it seemed like their prices and rental process were really good, but if they're going to try and pull something like this, then forget about it. It's just too much hassle and it's definitely not worth the money in the end. So, unless you want to get ripped off and have a totally hopeless story like us, I say stay away from Surprice Car Rentals.

Surprice Car Rentals Surprice Car Rentals: A Disappointing Pick-Up Experience

I gotta be honest, the pickup process at Surprice Car Rentals was a major letdown. The rental agreement said there would be a "Meet & Greet" but that was nowhere to be seen when I arrived. I even told them my arrival time and flight number but still, nada. It was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I waited around for 30 minutes before I finally caved and called them up. Even then, they just kept lying to me that a car was coming to pick me up and that it's only 5 minutes away - what a joke. After an excruciating 1.5 hours of waiting, I just decided to cut my losses and go buy a bus ticket instead.

Would you believe it, as soon as I left to go get the ticket, they finally called to say they were outside the terminal in a private car. With the driver who was the same person who I had been waiting for. I know it's just a small detail but it kind of bugged me a bit - like, why not have someone else do the driving so that the paperwork can be done in the meantime? And let me tell you, that paperwork took AGES. Like half an hour just to do the other person's, then another half an hour just to do mine.

So overall, it took me a whopping 1.5 hours longer than I was supposed to pick up the rental car. That's almost 3 hours after my arrival. But to be fair, the drop off experience was pretty flawless. So there's that. Overall, I'd say Surprice Car Rentals is...surprising.

Surprice Car Rentals Terrible Experience with Surprice Car Rentals: Late shuttle, car given away, and deceitful staff

I recently placed a reservation for a Golf size car to be picked up at Venice airport with Surprice Car Rentals (surpricecars.com). I had to change my flight schedule and gave them a call a week in advance to let them know. They informed me that everything was in order and all I had to do was show up on the day of pickup.

On the day of arrival, my flight was on time but, after a considerable wait, I had to call Surprice Car Rentals twice to get the shuttle to come to pick me up. When I finally arrived at the rental location, I started the necessary paperwork and was told that my rental had already been given away to someone else because I was late! However, I made it clear I was not late and that I even had to call twice for the shuttle to pick me up, but the staff person was not helpful. Instead, he offered me a Fiat Panda, which was a downgrade from the car I had reserved. Normally, in such situations, companies upgrade the rental car at no cost.

This entire encounter felt like a blackmail, a stranded situation in a parking lot in the middle of nowhere at night. The staff person was deceitful and rude, constantly changing his story and making all kinds of excuses as to why they could not provide me with a proper car. The car park was completely packed with other cars, making it difficult to locate the car I was given in the first place.

To add to my disappointment, Surprice Car Rentals has a full-to-full petrol policy, yet the car was given to me with an empty tank. The warning light came on after only driving 30 km! So, I ended up spending an extra EUR 20 to return the car with a full tank.

Overall, my experience with Surprice Car Rentals was extremely poor. They took advantage of me at every opportunity and left me feeling ripped off. I would not recommend this rental car company to anyone.

Surprice Car Rentals Surprice Car Rentals: Cheap Rates with Overcharging Tactics

I usually rent cars about 3 or 4 times per year and I always try to find the best deal available. I've never had any problems before with other rental companies, and this time the rates with Surprice Car Rentals seemed good. When I went to pick up the car, the worker only took a minute inside the dark garage to look at all the scratches on the car. They didn't give me any copy of the report they made, but I did notice that there were already some minor scratches in different parts of the vehicle.

During my trip, I drove outside of Lisbon to highways and other areas where there were no problems with parking and lots of space everywhere. After using the car for 6 days, I went to return it and let me tell you everything was completely different from the pickup. It was a hot July day in Lisbon and with the sun beaming down, two guys checked every single inch of the car. They found a new scratch on the alloy wheel that was tiny, minor, and nearly impossible to see, but they charged me 170? for it. This was well over the amount that I had paid for the whole renting experience.

After this experience, I decided to read some reviews online and I reached a conclusion that this is their business model: cheap renting, and then they overcharge their clients with scratches that were already there. Sometimes they go by different names, such as "International Car", "International Car II", and "Surprice Car Rentals".

By the way, I challenge you to find the damage worth 170? in the photo I took. It's quite difficult, to be honest.

Surprice Car Rentals Beware of Surprice Car Rentals: Hidden Fees, Dodgy Cars, and Shady Business Tactics

I've got a bone to pick with Surprice Car Rentals. I already left a review, but it seems like they didn't take it seriously. Listen up, folks: don't even think about renting a car from this joint. Yeah, their prices might seem too good to be true, but trust me -- that's because they make their cash off of "old damages"!

Let me paint you a picture. They claim to be a car rental company for Faro Airport, but if you try to pick up or drop off your ride between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., they slap you with a 35 buck fee. What a scam! Oh, and if you thought you could just slide by and grab your keys after the sun goes down, you're in for a world of hurt. They only have one employee working at that time, so if there's a line, good luck getting out of there before dawn cracks (seriously, it took me over an hour and a half).

But that's not all. When I finally got my grubby hands on the keys, I found out that they'd given me a completely different car than the one I'd reserved. I had to go park it myself in some dark corner (one star for "customer service" -- if you catch my drift) and just pray that it ran okay. To top it off, the gas tank wasn't even full. What a mess!

Of course, I made sure to inspect the car before I took off, but since it was so dark out, I missed a teeny tiny scratch on the bumper. When I returned it a few days later, the employee immediately noticed it and told me that I'd have to cough up 215 big ones. I tried to argue my case, but since I hadn't caught the scratch earlier, I was stuck with the bill. So much for those "low prices"!

All in all, the rental ended up costing me 300 clams -- a far cry from what I was expecting. Trust me, folks: save yourself the trouble and stick with a brand you know you can trust, like Hertz or Europcar. Oh, and just so you're aware: my contract number was SCR365522. You've been warned!

I have booked a car through Rentalcars wwith Surprice Casablanca Airport and pick up was quick despite my flight have been delayed. Very friendly, efficient and helpful person running the Casablance airport location.

Carjet.com is a fraudulent Spanish company. Arrived in Antalya. Didn't receive the reserved car! The local car rental company "Surprice" promised me a refund, which I never received. Stay away from such offers!

Surprice Car Rentals Rental car compliant SurPrise car rental

We rented a car from SurPrice on July 8 for a 1pm pick up in Naples Italy. The cost was $697.30 and was for a 7 day rental. Our flight got canceled and was delayed by 1 day so we called Chase Travel who we booked the car through and SurPrice would not change our reservation to July 9th even though we called once we knew we had the delay and it was well before the actual pick up time. They told us since we could not pick the car up at the scheduled date and time, that we were basically considered as a cancelation and they kept our money.

So this is a scam of a company, that will take your money even though you have no control over weather that can delay a flight. Stay far away from this company.

Claimed loss: $697.30

Desired outcome: Reimbure $697.30

Surprice Car Rentals Car not delivered.

Booked a car from car rental company "Surprice", through "Cartrawler", to be picked up at Milan Malpensa airport for 284,49 euro, charged by Cartrawler from my credit card. Surprice was not able to process my credit card, so no rental car was delivered. They proposed a "solution" whereby I would use my debet card and pay an extra 800 euro (!) for "insurance". Of course I did not want this, so I was forced to take public transport in Italy and upon arrival rent another car, last-minute, from another company, for almost 600 euro. Cartrawler refuses to pay back my money "because there are abbreviations in the name on my credit card". Upon pick-up at Surprice however, I showed all required documents including valid ID, driver's license and credit card, and it was 100% clear that the credit card was mine and corresponded to the one used for the payment to Cartrawler. I am starting legal action now, but I still hope Cartrawler/Surprice will come forward and fully reimburse me.

Desired outcome: Full reimbursement of 284,49 euro.
