Sweet Deals Cumulus Review: A Con Game That Fails to Deliver Promised Deals
Sweet Deals Cumulus is a website that promises to give you great deals with companies that are about to close or just starting. However, my experience with them has been less than satisfactory. I have found that they are a con game, and I would not recommend using their services.
The problem with Sweet Deals is that they promise you great deals, but they do not follow through on their promises. If a company that you have a coupon for closes, you will not get your money back. Additionally, if a company is trying to get new customers, they may not honor the coupons that you have purchased through Sweet Deals. This means that you are out of luck, and you will not get the deal that you were promised.
The bottom line is that Sweet Deals takes your money and you get nothing in return. The sellers also get nothing, which means that your money stays with Sweet Deals. If you try to get a refund, you may find that it is difficult to do so. I have been trying to get a refund for a year, and I have not had any luck.
If you want to try to get a refund from Sweet Deals, you can call them at ***867 and ask them to call you back. However, I would not hold my breath. In my experience, they are not very responsive, and they do not seem to care about their customers.
Overall, I would not recommend using Sweet Deals Cumulus. They are a con game, and they do not follow through on their promises. If you want to save money, there are plenty of other websites and services that you can use that are more reliable and trustworthy.
Misleading Fine Print: Sweet Deals Cumulus Review
I gotta tell ya, I was pretty excited when I found Sweet Deals Cumulus (sweetdeals.com). I mean, who doesn't love a good deal, right? So, I read all the "fine print" (twice, mind you) and decided to purchase 6 vouchers for services at Spa Sydell. I was feeling pretty good about my purchase, until I went to make a reservation for my second spa visit.
The Spa Sydell Rep asked for my voucher#, which I provided. Then, the Rep dropped a bombshell on me - I only had use of one more voucher. What the heck?! I read the "fine print" before I made my purchase and there was NO MENTION of usage limits other than only one per day and the obvious expiration date of January 1, 2019. The Rep informed me that Spa Sydell made a decision to limit customers using these vouchers to only THREE services PER YEAR! Nowhere in Sweet Deals "fine print" does it say only three vouchers can be used per year.
I was pretty upset about this, so I contacted SweetDeals via the methods outlined on its website early July. But, I didn't hear anything back. So, I sent a second email on July 24th, and made it clear I will expose this matter to the BBB and as many social media sites as possible. Finally, on July 25th, SweetDeal acknowledged my email/complaint; however, there was no resolution. It's now August 20th and although I've received communication on August 17th, it was vague and sounded like there might be a solution. I've asked for clarity/verification so there is no misunderstanding when I contact Spa Sydell.
Let me give you some advice - before you make a purchase of some experience or something really important, I suggest carefully reading the fine print, then contact the Vendor to be sure they are in agreement. It's a real bummer when you think you're getting a great deal, only to find out there are hidden restrictions.

On December 3rd, I bought a certificate for *** and they charged me twice. I also bought tickets for the World's toughest Rodeo *** but I ain't got them yet, neither by email nor mail. I filled out an online ticket on December 3rd 'bout the double charge and they said it gonna take 10 days 'fore someone can help me. They sent me 4 emails sayin' they ain't forgot 'bout me and that my ticket been made a big deal on December 13th. Today's the 17th and still nothin'. I want my money back for the double charge and the tickets I ain't got.
I bought $1000 credit for hotel stays on Nov 3, 2020
I bought $1000 credit for hotel stays on Nov 3, 2020. It cost me $19.95 and I got a credit of $1000. My order number is ***. When I checked my account, it showed that I had $1000 credit. Last week, I booked a hotel, but the entire amount was charged to my credit card and nothing was deducted from my credit. I called Happi Traveler (the hotel website) twice and the nice ladies there said they saw the problem and would pass it on to management. I also sent an email asking for help. It's been a week now and I haven't even received a reply. I've bought stuff from Sweet Deals before and never had any issues. I just want to use the $1000 credit I bought for hotel stays.
I bought lotsa vouchers from sweetdeals.com for restaurants and never had problems before
I bought lotsa vouchers from sweetdeals.com for restaurants and never had problems before. This time, I ordered a bluetooth speaker. The speaker don't charge, turn on, or do anything. It just don't work. I tried to contact the company through their online contact form. They didn't respond to my first request. The 2nd request, they said they sent me a pre-paid label and when I opened it, it was a voucher to an "Evil Kenevil Museum." I replied to the email, but no response. You can only send info through the online portal. There ain't no phone numbers and I don't even know if they read the emails. Buying from this company can feel like a total scam sometimes... It's a risk. I want my money back or a speaker that works.

This here's for order XXXXX that got shipped on 2/15
This here's for order XXXXX that got shipped on 2/15. Instead of gettin' them 2 flashlights I ordered and paid for, my buddy got some fishin' net or somethin'. Them flashlights were meant to be a gift for her son, and this ain't right 'cause I reached out on 2/19 explainin' the problem and askin' for a fix and replacement to be sent. Ain't nothin' been sorted out yet. I done sent 8 emails and asked for a call, but all I get is the same response sayin' they're workin' with the vendor. This has been goin' on for over a month and them flashlights still ain't been shipped. I ordered the same flashlights back in December and one was busted and never worked. I still ain't got no replacement for that neither. This company needs to step up and make sure the customer gets what they paid for. All I been gettin' is the runaround with no action. This should've been sorted out by now, but I'm still waitin' on a call and a fix. I'm attachin' them emails I done sent.
