Unexpected return of a purchased item.
I purchased a Hisense 6.3L Air Fryer with Digital Touch Control Panel for R1449.00. Order #[protected].
They tried twice to deliver the item after I had arranged a time I would be there.
I even suggested that I would collect it at the Takealot depot. I was told I cannot do that as I asked for delivery.
The next thing I saw on the tracking was they have returned the item and refunded me. I still want that order at the price paid.
I have purchased many times from Takealot and was very impressed with their service up until now.
If they cannot deliver then at least let the customer know to collect.
This type of service is definitely not acceptable.
Desired outcome: Honor the price I paid and resend the item.

I ordered a remote and received a flask
I ordered a universal remote and I received a flask, I have had no access to my TV for 2 weeks and I have not gotten a response from takealot yet. They went all quiet and silent on me even when I logged a complaint. I have been waiting for a reply and it been logged. It's been 2 weeks, none of my calls are being answered and there is no communication whatsoever. It was the first time I ordered online but I regret every moment of it.

An order that never got delivered
I ordered 4 items on takelot, a cellphone, ear pods, the screen guard for the phone and the phone cover. When my delivery came, the cheapest items were in my box, which was the screen guard and the phone cover. The actual cellphone and the ear pods were not in my box and were never delivered...
I have been liaising with them for over a week and my order has still never been delivered.. I paid for an order of over R3000 and only received 2 items. Till today the error on their side hasn't been rectified and they keep on sending me miscommunication.. I am quite disappointed and will never be buying from them in a hurry. The item that I received in my delivery was instead a Peppa pig reading book.. which I never ordered. I have logged numerous calls and sent endless emails explaining what had happened and they still keep on sending me wrong information. The items on my order that were never delivered seems to be logged as items that I want to have returned, but these are the items that I never received.. to date, I have not received my order.. and I ordered these items on the 25th November

Parcel lost in transit
I purchased an item on Black Friday, and was told it would be delivered by Wednesday 30 Nov. However never received it so when queried was told it had been mis-routed. After much back and forth I was told it was on its way to the delivery address. Only a few hours later I received another email saying it had been lost in transit and I would be refunded, as they did not have any more of the product in stock, and I had purchased it at the discounted price.
Further querying led to me being told it was re-routed to their warehouse. When I asked if it would be sent back to me, I was told that it was not true it had been re-routed to their warehouse, but that it had in fact been lost in transit.
Desired outcome: I would like to receive the item I paid for at the discounted price.
Samsung Curved Monitor
I ordered two Samsung Curved monitors with takealot.
Only one monitor was delivered.
I went to the Takealot pick up point in Bethlehem.
They said they would help me and get my monitor.
After have been there 7 times this still has not been resolved. They promised to call me back twice, which they did not do.
The last time I was there I said I want my money back. Then they said I have to take it up with the delivery company. This is unheard off.
Please help me sort this out with Takealot.

Incorrect item delivered
I ordered a Xbox series x on the 23rd November 2022 and it was delivered on the 27th November 2022. The box contained a ups and not a xbox. I immediately sent an email. Was told they're investigating and will get back to me. I logged a return as requested and the ups was collected on the 1st. I now been told I must wait for your processes before I get a xbox which can take anything from 2 days to 21 days. This was supposed to be a gift for my sons birthday the 4th. Takealot made the mistake but we must suffer the consequences. How ridiculous is that¡!

I ordered a 1 x Five Star 5KVA, PWM 48V Solar Hybrid Inverter from your website and paid for the item on time, only to receive an incorrect product. I was told to follow the return process which I have done.
I have now received mail from Takealot as follows (Unfortunately the item that you wanted is not available and we have therefore credited your Takealot account.

This is very unprofessional coming from Takealot, very poor service. As a client I have done everything from my side to ensure that my order is placed on time and payment is done on time. Takealot failed me as a client by delivering a wrong Item. For Takealot to now say the item is not available is not acceptable, Takealot is now pushing the risk to the client with very little care.
To go further the item that I paid for is still advertised on your Takealot site and this is an indication that Takealot is pushing the risk to me as a client, the item is still advertised on your website at a higher price.
I hereby request Takealot to deliver the correct Five Star 5KVA, PWM 48V Solar Hybrid Inverter and take responsibility instead of pushing the risk to me as a client.

I placed an order for this product that was on a Black Friday special. I chose this over other similar Black Friday specials that are no longer available. There was quite a long wait for delivery of this product, but I accepted this wait for the price (R2,499). I have just received notification that my order of this product has been cancelled as the product is no longer available. However, they are still advertising it on their app (albeit at a much higher price).
This is not the first time that this has happened when I have ordered products on special.
I cannot buy this product at the higher price (R4,499), and I chose not to make purchases of this product on other sites because Takealot has generally been a reputable site up until now.
I now believe this to be a ploy to get people onto the site.

I have a problem checking the description information on my last two orders
I made two separate orders of Fine health - PVC Interlocking tiles because it did not allow me to order more than 4 sets hence the 2 orders. It was delivered on 12 Nov 2022. The problem I am having is that it appears to be from different suppliers because the one set seems to be thinner (less than 5mm). I am unable to find the description of the product when I'm looking at the order to ascertain the thickness of the tiles. The Tiles are not meshing properly due to the discrepancy, and it would be unfair for me to write a review based on this mismatch. I would like to return the one lot, but I'm not sure wrapping is the correct one because I unwrapped all the tiles. I reordered another 4 square meters.

Wrong product delivered
On 2022-11-20 I ordered the Shiatsu u shaped neck massager and had it delivered as a priority so I could pick it up the next day (today), however, I received the wrong product which was the Heat Therapy Massaging Pillow. I returned it immediately as I was at the pick up point still. Do the pickers not look at the pictures? They are completely different products. I needed that today, now I had to order it again and hopefully I will receive the correct thing tomorrow. If not, I am going to the ombudsman,because why do I pay more to prioritize if I don't get what I paid for and now I have to wait for my refund. It is unacceptable. Incorrect refund received on return
We ordered 25 of a specific item which was for our clients for the Festive Season. Unfortunately, most of the items were damaged when received. So, we returned all 25 items the next day. The total of the order was R11 240.00. We have only been refunded R4 044.00. Where is the rest of my refund and no-one will revert back to me. I have sent numerous complaints and e-mails. Surely this is fraught?

I ordered usa - za electrical conversion plugs from takealot and on the day of the delivery I was not at home takealot has marked my order as signed by me and delivered but my items are not here, takealot should partner with the postal service or something to avoid packages getting lost, we are in africa here.
I attempted to find out how takealot deals with situations like this and i'm not impresses with the customer support system, every order should have a easy to locate help chat room or phone number to call, it is annoying trying to find out how to resolve this issue.

I purchased a battery Narada 48v 100ah lithium battery from Takealot and now i have a problem that requires technical support and I can't get it because takealot on their documents said it was sold by Nexnovo which appears to be a company in Lagos that uses a financial company's number in south Africa which really got me worried as to why and who will provide support, the Takealot website doesn't give you a number to call instead i got a number through another source to try and call and no answer after an answering machines took the call. i paid R28000.00 to get this pathetic experience. i need someone to call me urgently i even tried to reach out to Kim Reid

I received delivery of my order on Wednesday 16/11/22. Upon opening the package an hour after the courier had left, I noticed that the item was incorrect as I had ordered Left and Right and received 2 Left sides. I proceeded to call the courier that had dropped the package off and she advised that I should take it to the Takealot Pick Up point to return the package. At the Pick up Point, the Takealot Staff member that assisted me advised that I should log a return on the app first, which I did then. She then refused to take the package as she mentioned that the Status on the return should be moved from assessed to return to completed before she could take the item back and she advised that it would change over night. 17/11/22 I went back to the Takealot offices again only to find out that the status has still not changed and they cannot take it back. Contacted their customer care 3 times and spoke to 3 different consultants after leaving their offices. Today is the 18/11/22 and I still have the package and the status still has not changed.! When you call the customer care, the prompts on the phone exlpains how quick and easy returns are (what a load of sss)
