Never ever order from here, my order is showing successful but since its been more than 50 mints i called and checked. And guess what? The call center agent answered saying that my order was never placed. What kind of joke is this? Are you kidding me? After waiting for more than 50 mints. This is what i am getting. Its such a shame. Shame for this company & shame for the service provider. Btw i received a feedback saying that the restaurant was having issues with the network, for god's sake if there was an issue why the hell there was no notification. No pop up messages. Really bad! And restaurant's name is Karam- Al Sham
mistake in delivery date
A day before I placed pre order to be delivered next day but yellow cab called same day order ready for delivery, told them delivery date for next day. Yellow Cab called me again talabat not mntioned it but they will deliver next day.
On the same date, Talabat assured me that my order will be delivered on the stated time, but Yello cab said there is no order on their record.
Yellow cab keep on chasing Talabat for confirmation but nothing happened. At the end, it was passed my delivery time still no action from Talabat.

KFC - delayed and wrong order twice !
Order KFC from Talabat isn't the first time for me. But this time is really the worst ever. They got my order wrong. Not once but twice since I sent him back the first time. Waiting for 3 hours (order time is at 22:23 on 15th Feb) and now is 01:23 and it's been been 3 hours but I didn't get my order still. How ridiculous the service is! My husband spoke to the manager but he hung up the phone. Completely ignoring the problem and the phone was off when we tried to call him again. Terrible!

I placed an order via Talabat for MacDonald online by 1:13 pm, till 2:55 pm no one showed up, I called many times to follow up, 2:30 pm the driver called me speaking indian only, no english, no arabic ? MY QUESTION IS: how he will communicate with customers? second he is new in the country and don't know Dubai well as per him so why guys you are sending him for delivery? he got lost and called one more time to send him location by whatsapp? and still couldn't reach the location, 3 pm i have to cancel the order.
the problem is that I am at work and the order is for home for my kids. they were waiting for almost 2 hours, this is ridiculous, I am sorry to say that, I cant believe this kind of service / and in Dubai ?
I will not use Talabat anymore for orders and will not recommend to any of my family members or friends.
Note: I paid by Apple Pay application, need my money to be refund as soon as possible and thank you very much for your kind service!

live chat assistance is a waste of time
Talabat live chat assistance is of no help. I was terribly inconvenienced because the restaurant did not want to deliver my food claiming its National Day and the traffic is alot with road blocks. I was called and told this 20 minutes after placing the order and the driver was still making a decision whether to deliver or not. Live chat did not offer anything for the inconvenience caused only that he hopes my food gets to me. I mean really if it is a problem delivering on this day why doesn't talabat have a message on its site instead of taking the money from our cards and then expecting us to wait. Talabat has lost me as a customer because if how this matter was addressed.
Actually in this case my food never arrived. But the restaurant manager phoned and apologised explaining how they tried to deliver but could not and live chat confirmed they will refund my money. So under the circumstances I do understand the problem and I will continue ordering from talabat because they will refund me.

Today was probably the worst possible delivery I've seen by far with talabat. Not only was the delivery more than 40 mins late above the average min delivery time for a mere wrap and hummus plate. Please tell me how you would accept it for yourself. Unbelievably disappointing service. I will make sure everyone knows your inability to communicate to the customer that orders are late and that you are generally just bad with delivery times. You should be penalised for this
refund not received
On 21-Oct 18, Talabat cancelled my order due to restaurant says that my order is out of stock. This was not reflected on their site and they only inform me when I followed up which is 45min after I placed the order.
They promised to refund my payment (w/c I did via card) with 2 options, 1- refund to my bank which will take 5-7business days or 2- refund on my talabat credit account, they mention that my the refund should be available after 30-60 minutes. I went to choose the 2- option as refund will take shortly and Im very hungry and I wanted to take another order. Talabat representative confirmed that they will refund to my account.
After 60min, i check my talabat acc but no refund.
It's 23 Oct 2018 now but still did not receive any refund. I contacted talabat and they keep on making different stories. First is that they mistakenly refund it to my card, 2nd is they change the processing time for talabat credit refund .

The most inept, incompetent drivers I have ever encountered in my life. They ask you for your location when it is clearly stated on the order. Why should I have to add some unknown driver to my phone and then whatsapp him my location when he can find it in the order?! The delivery guys are always late and you are lucky if they dispense the correct change. The last time I ordered, my order amount was 83 riyals and the driver asked for 90. I asked him for a receipt and he said he did not have one. I was certain that my order did not cost 90 and verified my order later to realize that it was in fact 83 and not 90 but the driver had already left by then. I then called talabat and complained abd was told that the proper disciplinary measures were to be taken to ensure that this driver never does this again. I don't mind handling a driver a 7 riyal tip but he should not have to lie to get it. Talabat go? More like talabat NO!

Not only she cancelled my order before even attempting to contact but she said Talabat the order was cancelled because i said the restaurant cannot meet my special requirement so she cancelled it as per my request.
Please find below conversation and i very clearly told if she cannot get in touch with them she is to contact me back within 5 minutes and let me know followed by cancelation instead she cancelled and walked away!

Dear All
Plz note that we sent many emails since 1/7 to add special offers and some pictures to our restaurant list and nothing happened except issuing tickets and ignoring us. They asked for my mobile number but no called me. One of the two offers expired now. It was a very bad experience with such big company.

reasonless cancel of an order.
I ordered dinner for me and my mom, this times from another fast food restaurant i had not ordered from before, but considering the previous restaurants had delivered perfectly, i did not expect this. After an hour they call me repeating my location which was correctly given by me and told me the order was cancelled due to something wrong with the location, when my location was repeated and it was correct, why wasn't i called when the delivery guy couldn't find where the location was? why cancel my order? there goes our dinner and it's late now, we can't afford to wait an hour more.
i find new resturant so i wanted to try it out i order from 1 resturant for 3 times they canceled it 3 times without calling me and telling me any reasons in the 4th time they deliverd i didnt like the food so i wrote a review that the food is bad and they should improve the food they didnt post my review

Please be informed that this is not the first time this happened to me. Am a regular customer for Talabat and I encountered many times the same problem. U r displaying offer for kababji about 20% off on all orders, kindly check attached photo below, but unfortunately we discovered that the offer doesn't exist. Please try to solve this problem at your earliest because I have been waiting for 20 mins after placing the order to know that the offer does not exist which is really annoying and disturbing.
Please note that this is not the first time to encounter the same.

My husband and I placed an order with a restaurant at 18:11. After waiting a long time we watched as the drivers location went to Lusail, then towards Qatar University. We called the restaurant who contacted talabat whose driver was doing the delivery. No help there. I had a live chat, which we have screenshotted ready to share publicly if necessary, during which all I received was an apology and a promise to speak to the restaurant, however we explained that it was not their fault, it was the driver who had been going the wrong way numerous times.
We received our order 2 HOURS after placing it. The restaurant offered to send us a free order with their own driver, whilst the talabat employee we spoke to - Reem Moustafa- LEFT THE CHAT when we were trying to speak to him. This is rude, unhelpful and just topped off a very poor experience. We would expect a full refund for this order and look forward to a prompt response to this message.

The story of how Talabat Ripped me off.
I ordered Texas Chicken on 13, my order was approved and charged me instantly on my card. At the time of delivery I get a call from the restaurant that they can't deliver and there goes my lunch break. So now I contact Talabat regarding this matter it took the agent 20 mins to confirm what I had already told him and he finally believed me that my order was cancelled. Because of this experience I decided not to use Talabat again and stick to Zomato and decided to ask for refund, the agent said if I accept Talabat credits I will get in 15 mins but for refund I have to wait 7 to 10 days, I chose refund and that's that. I fill a contact us form on 11th day regarding my refund but no response, then contacted them on live chat on 23rd and I was promised that I will get a call which never happened.
I found out on online that there are more people like me and Talabat does this often, many people get swindled and never lodge any complaints becauae the total amount is relatively small. But think how if it's 50 dhs and there are 100 people each much? For Talabat it is not small.

Hello. I just wanna explain my complaints. I'm so disappointed with the service they provide me. I was so excited to try the cookies, and finally the driver called me after an hour waiting and he said he is outside my place. So I went downstairs but I didn't find anyone there. I'm waiting 10 mins outside the street no one is come. So I decided to went inside since its after midnight already. So the restaurant called me again and want me to go outside because he is there and he said that my security guard doesn't allow him to go inside, while I was there next to the security and even I confirm with them and nobody's is come. So after a while I'm waiting outside without any confirmation the restaurant called me again and apologized that the driver is took the wrong place, so he wanted me to send my location through the whatsapp. I sent it to driver. Almost 45 mins waiting outside nobody's come, until the driver called me again and he said he finally outside. While I still outside waiting for him. So I asked him where are you, because nobody's here. He cut the call. And when I tried to called him back just to make sure where he is, instead of explain to me nicely he cut the call. That's so rude! Ridiculous! I'm the one who supposed to get upset here, you let a lady stand outside for almost an hour waiting at 1 am, is it appropriate? So please I'm using talabat for so long, and this is unacceptable. I'm really disappointed.
short delivery of items
I have 10x10 meal (Texas) - QTY 03, which includes the below as per your site. 10 pcs chicken 10 pcs tenders 1 large coleslaw 1 large mashed potato 2. 25 ltr coke 5 sauce dips.
But when I received I just had 10 pcs chicken 10 pcs tenders 1 large coleslaw - no drinks and no mashed potato. The total amount was AED254/- which I already paid.
I actually put up a party for my dear ones, and the situation while eating was really bad. I was informed from Talabat and from Texas that I am not eligible for drinks and mashed potato!

I ordered a meal from KUDO using Talabat app. KUDO is one of the participating restaurant in Talabat's current promotion "WIN AN HONOR 9 Lite". In order to participate, customer has to make an order, then take the picture of the meal with the flyer (to be provided by the participating restaurant with meal delivery) and put it on Instagram.
When KUDO delivered my order, I asked the delivery guy for the flyer. He told me that there is no flyer and we are not aware of any such promotion. I contact Talabat immediately on the live chat where I received couple of computer generated responses. Till now I did not receive any answer to my query nor i receive any flyer.
Its really unprofessional and unethical to put such fake promotions so that customers will order only from some specific restaurants. I am a frequent user of Talabat App and I was really hurt. Its unbelievable for me that any company would go to such lengths and fool their own customers in order to generate sales for some specific restaurants.
I attached photos of my order receipt, meal, promotion and screenshot of the live chat which I had.
talabat have fake reviews for most resturant i order many time and if my food was not good i write review that the food was bad but they never post it
i can assume they manipulate the reviews of the resturants maybe they write good reviews themselvs or only allow good review to be posted and keep bad review at minimum

I find it very frustrating to have been placing orders and then after 20 to 40 minutes I only get to know my orders were not submitted to the restaurant.
