I have an order of 12 little items for the holidays, and five of them arrived today (yesterday now) - - in three different little boxes. 2 sets of the same napkins in one, 2 of the same chocolates in another, and 1 of the 7 little ornaments ( all of the same collection) in another little box. And they all shipped from the same town and address in Illinois! WHY THREE boxes? (I dread to see how many boxes the last 7 ornaments arrive it. It's not like they are glass. They're FELT. And the one that just arrived was all by itself bouncing around the shoe box size shipping box with nothing to anchor it. Luckily, the box wasn't crushed, because mostly empty boxes often arrive seriously damaged. I believe in minimal packaging, but putting them all in one box with a little bit of something wouldn't have hurt.) ***
And one more comment (because Target's "Feedback" link is offline - - indefinitely?)
They are saying that because people are shopping less there, it is an indication that we are heading toward a recession. While there may be some truth in that, I've just recently taken to NOT going into Target much anymore (for years now, it's been one of favorite places to wander, and shop) because the store by me is SO MESSY and disorganized, (with barely any employees). It has become stressful to shop in the Target store.
