TCGplayer A haven for trading card enthusiasts

Hey fellow card collectors and gamers, I've got to tell you about my experience with TCGplayer. It's been a game-changer for me! I've been diving into the world of trading card games for a while now, and TCGplayer has become my go-to spot for finding those elusive cards to complete my decks. From Magic: The Gathering to Pokémon, they've got an impressive selection that's hard to beat. The website is user-friendly, making it a breeze to search for specific cards or browse through their extensive inventory. I've found their prices to be competitive, and the marketplace setup gives you options from various sellers, which is fantastic for price comparison. One thing that stands out is the community vibe. It feels like a platform run by people who are passionate about TCGs, for people who share that passion. Their customer service is pretty responsive too, which is a relief, especially when you're dealing with rare or valuable cards. However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. I've heard a few grumbles about shipping times and card conditions not always matching descriptions. But from my experience, these are exceptions rather than the rule. Plus, TCGplayer's buyer protection has got your back if things don't go as planned. Overall, if you're looking to buy, sell, or just check out the latest in the TCG scene, I'd definitely recommend giving TCGplayer a shot. It's a solid choice for newbies and veterans alike. Just remember to read the seller reviews and you'll be golden!

TCGplayer Buyer Beware: TCGplayer's Selective Review Filter Skews Seller Ratings!

So I've been using TCGplayer for a while now and I noticed something kinda off about the reviews. Whenever I drop a review that's not all sunshine and rainbows about a seller, it somehow gets yanked off the site. I'm just trying to give other buyers the real scoop on what's up with these sellers, but it seems like TCG Player isn't having any of that. Every negative review I've posted has vanished into thin air, and the only excuse they give me is "we don't agree". That doesn't even make sense, right? I mean, they weren't the ones dealing with the sellers or buying the stuff, I was. So how can they just decide to disagree with my experience? Honestly, it feels like they're just trying to keep the seller ratings high, even if it means buyers might not get the full story. That's not cool. Watch out for this if you're using the site, cause it looks like they're playing games with the feedback to make a few extra bucks, and that's not fair to us buyers.

TCGplayer Misled by BinderPOS: Promised No-Shipping Setup, Left Disappointed

I recently got Binderpos after being told by the reps that we could set it up without the shipping option. But after talking to them a few times, it became clear that disabling shipping just wasn't doable. I tried to get a hold of a manager or someone higher up to talk about this, but they wouldn't let me. Instead, they just said that I should contact them if I wanted to deactivate my BinderPOS account. They didn't even say sorry or try to make things right.

TCGplayer TCGplayer Review: Your One-Stop Shop for TCG Cards and Accessories

TCGplayer is a pretty cool spot to check out if you're into trading card games (TCG). They got a bunch of different sellers, kind of like Amazon Marketplace. You can peep their ratings and reviews to figure out who you wanna buy from. I've copped three times from their sellers and it's all been good so far. If you're looking for a dope spot to grab some TCG cards and accessories, definitely give TCGplayer a look-see.

TCGplayer Disappointed Gamer: TCGplayer's Slow Shipping Misses Tournament Deadline

So I needed some cards for a tournament and I ordered them from TCGplayer on a Sunday. I even paid more for the faster shipping cause it said it would take 4 days max. I was pretty sure they'd get here before the tournament. They got the shipping label sorted out by Monday, but for some reason, the post office didn't actually get the package until Wednesday. Now it looks like they won't show up until the next Monday, which is way past the time they were supposed to get here. That's like twice as long as what was promised and I paid extra for nothing. Definitely not ordering from them again.

TCGplayer Nearly Trashed My Purchase: TCGplayer's Risky Shipping Method for a $3 Card

Bought a single card off TCGplayer, wasn't anything pricey. They shipped it in an envelope that could've been mistaken for trash. Almost tossed it out without a second thought. When I finally opened it, I chucked the ads that came with it before realizing the card was actually tucked inside one of those ads. They didn't even bother to put it in a sleeve or a top loader, no sort of protection at all. Good thing it was just a 3 dollar card, or else I'd be out here trying to get a refund. No way another player or a serious collector would ever think to send a card like that.

TCGplayer TCGPlayer Review: A Reliable Site for Collectibles with a Huge Selection

I've been using TCGPlayer for a while now and I gotta say, most of the time it's been pretty good. I mean, there were a couple of times when things didn't go as planned, but that was because of the USPS, not TCGPlayer. Those guys can be a real pain in the butt sometimes, you know what I mean?

Anyway, overall I think TCGPlayer is a pretty reliable site. I'd even say it's better than eBay in some ways. Of course, it all depends on which seller you choose to buy from. I always try to go with the ones that are verified or have a 100% positive feedback rating. That way I know I'm getting a good deal.

If you're into collectibles, especially trading cards, then I definitely recommend giving TCGPlayer a shot. They've got a huge selection and the prices are usually pretty reasonable. Plus, they've got a ton of different sellers, so you can always find what you're looking for. Just be sure to read the reviews and check out the seller's ratings before you make a purchase. That way you can avoid any potential headaches down the road.

All in all, I'd say TCGPlayer is a solid choice for anyone looking to buy or sell collectibles online. Sure, there might be a few hiccups along the way, but that's just part of the game. As long as you do your homework and choose your sellers wisely, you should be good to go. So go ahead and give it a try!

TCGplayer TCGplayer Review: A Scam or Just Another eBay?

I gotta say, my experience with TCGplayer was not great. It's like they're just another eBay or Facebook marketplace, ya know? They don't actually sell anything themselves, they just connect you with some other seller. And let me tell you, that can be a real problem.

I had an issue where they took some money out of my account, but then never gave it back. And when I finally got the seller's info after making a purchase, I saw that they had a really bad track record. They were selling damaged, fake, weighed, and resealed packs with glue on them! I tried to message the seller, but they never responded. And even though I asked TCGplayer to step in and cancel the order and give me a refund before the seller could send anything, they didn't do anything. All they did was tell the seller about my bad review and try to "resolve" the situation.

Honestly, I think this company is a scam. They don't seem to care about their customers at all, and they're just out to make a quick buck. I wouldn't recommend using them if you can avoid it.

TCGplayer TCGplayer Review: Beware of Seller Issues and Unreliable Service

I gotta say, TCGplayer ain't all sunshine and rainbows. I've had some real issues with them lately. I'm a seller, and I take photos and videos of all my sales to make sure I'm covered if anyone tries to pull a fast one on me. But even with all that, I still get customers who complain about not getting the right card. And let me tell you, dealing with those scum balls is a real pain in the butt.

One time, I had a customer who said he got the wrong card and that it was damaged. I refunded him, but then TCGplayer shut me down and took away a whole month's worth of payments - $4400! Can you believe that? It's like they don't even care about their sellers.

And don't even get me started on some of the other sellers on TCGplayer. Some of them work for TCG itself, so you know they're not gonna give you the best service. I bought some boxes from two different vendors - Amazing Adventures and Unicorn Card Shop - and both of them had been repacked. What a ripoff!

But the worst thing that's happened to me on TCGplayer was when I sold a box of Commander Legends during the height of the COVID lockdown. The kid who bought it sprayed it down with Lysol and then complained that it was damaged. I told him to return it, but instead of sending it back to me, TCGplayer had him return it to them. And then they resold the box and took the sale out of my account! Can you believe that? I lost the box and the money.

Overall, I gotta say that TCGplayer has some serious issues. If you're a seller, watch your back and make sure you're covered for anything that might go wrong. And if you're a buyer, be careful who you're buying from - some of those sellers are real scum bags.

TCGplayer Tcgplayer's Lack of Communication Cost Me Over $6000 in Cashback Promotion

I'm a huge customer of tcgplayer, spending over $300,000 USD every year on their website. I've been waiting for months for their cashback promotion and have asked them multiple times to let me know when it's happening. Unfortunately, they decided to release it randomly for only 24 hours with only 4 minutes notice. To make matters worse, they didn't even bother to contact me about it. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated that I've lost over $6000 because of their lack of communication.

To add insult to injury, I'm currently on an international business trip and had to stay up until 3am just to try and place my orders on their malfunctioning website. It's been a nightmare trying to navigate their site and I've had enough. This is the final straw for me and I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

If you're considering buying from tcgplayer, I highly recommend looking up the seller's name on Google first. You can often find the same products for a 15%+ discount by purchasing directly from the card shop. Plus, you won't have to deal with tcgplayer's egregious seller fees or their extremely lacking customer service. It's just not worth the hassle.

TCGplayer Disappointed with TCGplayer's Customer Service and Seller Protection

Yo guys,

I gotta tell you about my recent TCGplayer experience. It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, let me tell you.

So, I ordered some NM cards from this seller and when they arrived, they were only half in the protective sleeve. No toploader or anything, just three cards in a clear sleeve. Can you believe it? And to make matters worse, two of the cards ended up with scratches. So, instead of NM, they were LP/MP. Not cool, man.

I reached out to the seller and he offered me a 25% refund. I mean, the cards were cheap, so I accepted it. But here's the kicker - he never even acknowledged that his crappy packaging was the reason the cards arrived in such bad shape. And to top it off, he was rude to me and even blocked me from buying from his store. Can you believe the nerve?

So, I decided to write a negative review and contact TCGplayer. And you know what they said? They basically told me that my review couldn't show up on the seller's page because he offered a refund. Like, what kind of BS is that? So, apparently, as long as the seller does something, he's protected against bad reviews, even if I don't want to recommend shopping from him because of his bad packaging and rudeness.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with TCGplayer. They didn't do anything to help me out and just let the seller get away with his crappy behavior. I don't know if I'll be using their site again anytime soon.

TCGplayer Terrible Customer Service: My Experience with TCGplayer

I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend using TCGplayer. Their customer service is just plain awful. I mean, seriously, it takes them forever to get back to you if you have any problems. And let me tell you, I've had some serious issues with them. Like, I've gotten the wrong cards before, or sometimes I don't even get my cards at all. It's just a total mess.

TCGplayer International Buyer Beware: TCGplayer's Mistakes & Delays Add Insult to Injury

I've been ordering from TCGplayer for a bit now, and I know living in Canada means I gotta wait longer for deliveries and deal with exchange rates, which is fine. But when I pay that extra and then they mess up my order by sending the wrong cards, plus it's late on top of that, it's just not cool. It's really frustrating when you're looking forward to something and it doesn't turn out right. They need to step up their game, especially when we're paying more and being patient with international shipping.

TCGplayer Disappointing Experience with TCGplayer: Lack of Communication and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, my experience with TCGplayer was pretty disappointing. I was really excited to get my hands on 4 borderless solitude cards, but unfortunately, I never received them. I tried reaching out to the seller and TCGplayer, but I never got a response from either of them. It was a real bummer, and I was starting to get pretty frustrated.

Eventually, I had to file a claim with my credit card company to get my money back. It was a hassle, and it took a lot of time and effort on my part. I was really disappointed with the customer service I received from TCGplayer. The girls I talked to were nice enough, but they didn't seem to be able to do much to help me. It wasn't until the "boys" got involved that I started to see some progress.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend TCGplayer to anyone. The lack of communication and poor customer service really left a bad taste in my mouth. If you're looking for a reliable place to buy trading cards, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

TCGplayer Disappointed Collector: Received Re-Sealed Packs Instead of New from TCGplayer

I had a pretty bad experience with TCGplayer. I ordered what was supposed to be a brand new box of trading cards for like 150 bucks. It was supposed to come with 10 packs, all unopened. But when I got it, I could tell straight away that something was off. Every single pack had been opened already. You could see gaps at the corners of the seals where they hadn't sealed them up properly again. I know for sure that when you get new packs, they don't look like that. It's really disappointing cause you expect to get what you pay for, and this wasn't it.

TCGplayer Disappointing Experience with TCGplayer.com: False Advertising and Tampered Products

I recently made a purchase on TCGplayer.com and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience. I ordered a box of trading cards that was advertised as "new" and "unopened", but when I received it, I quickly realized that this was not the case.

First of all, the box itself was in pretty rough shape. It was dented and banged up, which made me a little nervous about what I might find inside. But when I opened it up and started going through the packs, my fears were confirmed - every single one of them had been opened and resealed.

Now, I'm no expert on trading cards, but I do know that new, unopened packs should be completely sealed with no gaps or spaces. And these packs definitely had spaces on each corner where the seals had been tampered with. It was pretty obvious that someone had opened them up, taken out whatever cards they wanted, and then tried to reseal them to make it look like they were still new.

To make matters worse, I had spent $150 on this box of cards, which only contained 10 packs. That's a lot of money to spend on something that turned out to be a total ripoff.

Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience on TCGplayer.com. I don't think I'll be ordering from them again anytime soon. If you're looking for trading cards, I'd recommend going somewhere else where you can be sure you're getting what you paid for.

TCGplayer Disappointing Experience with TCGplayer: Slow Shipping and High Customs Fees

I've been a TCGplayer user for a solid decade now, and I gotta say, it's been a pretty sweet ride. I've always been able to find the cards I need for my collection, and the prices have been pretty reasonable. However, things took a turn for the worse in 2023.

I recently placed an order and was hit with a whopping $80 in customs fees. Needless to say, I was pretty upset about this. I reached out to TCGplayer to see if they could help me out, but they were less than helpful. They refused to refund me or take the package back, which left me feeling pretty frustrated.

To make matters worse, the shipping times have been painfully slow lately. I'm used to getting my orders within a week or so, but lately it's been taking much longer. I'm not sure what's going on, but it's definitely not ideal.

All in all, I can't say I recommend TCGplayer at this point. I'll be looking into some of their competitors for my future card-buying needs.

TCGplayer Disappointing Experience with TCGplayer: Outsourcing to a Prison and No Refund or Resent Cards

So, I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with TCGplayer. I mean, they took my money and all, but then they outsourced the product. And let me tell you, it wasn't my fault that they ended up with my money and the product! But then, get this, the product was sent to a prison! Yeah, a prison! And they opened it up as a security thing, and then realized that it was shipped out of a home and not a store. So, what did they do? They returned it! And now, I'm left with no money refunded and no cards resent from the store, TCGPlayer!

I mean, come on, TCGplayer! What kind of operation are you running here? You can't just take people's money and then outsource the product to a prison! And then not even refund the money or resend the cards when the product gets returned! That's just not right, man.

I really hope that TCGplayer can get their act together and start treating their customers better. Because, let's face it, we're the ones who keep them in business. And if they keep pulling stunts like this, they're not going to have any customers left. So, come on, TCGplayer, get it together!

TCGplayer Disappointing Customer Support and Fees: My Review of TCGplayer

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with TCGplayer. Their customer support is just plain useless. I mean, seriously, what's the point of having customer support if they can't even help you out? And don't even get me started on the fees - they're the same as eBay, but without any of the benefits.

One thing that really bothered me was the lack of a good way to message sellers. It's like they don't even care about facilitating communication between buyers and sellers. And to make matters worse, there's no seller protection against harassing buyers. I mean, come on, TCGplayer, get your act together.

And let's talk about customer service. It's braindead and slow. I don't even think they should be called customer service reps, because they don't even know what that means. It's like they're just reading off a script and not actually trying to help you.

Overall, I have to say that TCGplayer is a terrible platform. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There are so many other options out there that are much better.

TCGplayer Disappointed with TCGplayer's Seller Feedback System and Card Protection

I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with TCGplayer. They got this bad habit of hiding negative seller feedback, which makes it hard to know who to trust. Even the big sellers with like 50k+ trades, they still ship with the lowest protection possible, and that means you end up with a bunch of damaged cards. And then TCGplayer goes and hides the reviews of those cards, and defends the seller, even though it keeps happening over and over again. I mean, come on, right? Some people have even gone out of their way to find the seller's business and leave a Google review, just to warn others. It's not a good look, TCGplayer.

TCGplayer Disappointing Experience with TCGplayer.com: Missing Cards and Unhelpful Customer Service

I recently made a purchase on TCGplayer.com for a list of cards that totaled over $150. Unfortunately, when my order arrived, I noticed that $26 worth of cards were missing. I immediately contacted their customer service team through email and we went back and forth for a while trying to resolve the issue.

I provided proof of the charge that was made for the missing cards, but they claimed that it was from previous cards on the list. I know for a fact that this is not true because I made sure to check off every card after a successful purchase. It was frustrating to deal with their customer service team because they didn't seem to believe me.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience on TCGplayer.com. I don't think they can be trusted and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. It's a shame because I was a loyal customer for a while, but this experience has made me decide to take my business elsewhere.
