Terminix monthly service contract - continues to bill
I signed a 1 year monthly service contract. At the end of the contract I emailed my sales person Matthew Foster and told him to cancel my contract. He pretended like he did not know who I was and told me to call the office for billing questions.
I called the local office as I was told in his email and cancelled the contract. The woman told me a service rep would be out to remove the termite traps and my contract would be complete. The service rep came on the day I was told and he did remove the traps.
Today I was just billed again for the service. I emailed Matthew Foster once again and told him I called the office as he told me and I wanted him to take care of the cancellation and the refund. He wrote me back a one line email saying to call the office about billing questions.
When I called the office I was on the phone with the woman for almost a half an hour trying to get this cancelled. I am not going to waste anymore time. If I don't hear back from them I will simply do a charge back and cancel the debit card they have on file.
DO NOT EVER SIGN A CONTRACT WITH TERMINIX.
Desired outcome: Please refund and cancel my contract as requested. I have the emails with Matthew Foster showing dates and times of our communications.
Have not received pest service
I entered a year contract, paid for the first visit and have been trying to get my initial service. They scheduled it and never showed up or called me. So I called the office. And called again. And called the main number. And called again. Each time I called, I received a promise that someone would take care of it. It has now been 3 weeks since the date of the contract. Who runs a business like this? We just need pest control.
Desired outcome: Receive pest control services this week.
Bed bug
So few months back I paid 1500 dollars to get rid of bed bugs... They sent a guy that had no idea what he was doing and heat treatment was not done first service just mattress protectors as nd spray I c a led and complained they said they'd come do it right but took a month or so to get them back here as nd they sent the same guy when we left I asked had he been trained he said not on that machine you could see where he did parts of the couch no beds were touched I called again and they were supposed to get someone right back out I got message they were on their way n never heard from them as gain now it's hot and my place is infested...
Either someone gets in my home within a couple days and my issues taken care of or i'm hiring a lawyer this is my last and final attempt and i'm filing a report next right now with better business bureau tiffany harrison [protected]
Subterranean termite baiting system bait barrier annual plan.

In 2017 we decided that we wanted a termite contract on our home. We did NOT have termites but we figured we planned on being in the house for a long time so it would be a smart investment for us. We priced a few places. Terminix was the HIGHEST price up front but the LOWEST annual price. So we decided being that we planned on staying in the house for many years we would go ahead and spend the extra money up front & save over the long haul.
Well that have tried to increase the Annual fee every year!
Here is what is in the fine print. They make it small on purpose so no one tries to read it. I took a picture & blew it up so I could read it better.
"(Renewal Term) for so long as purchaser owns the property described on the Inspection Graph by paying the Annual Term Fee set forth in this Agreement prior to the expiration of the Initial Term or any Renewal Term."
I still own the property & want to my my Annual fee of $250 and not $462.24 which they are billing me for.
Desired outcome: Honor my yearly contract for $250 as agreed or refund the original $1337 & I can go elsewhere!
Termite service
I have been getting billed for termite service every month and it was supposed to be cancelled. I have called the office here at Shelbyville, KY and talked to several people-they say they have to contact a mgr. Put on hold for15 t0 20 minutes for an answer and told I can't talk to mgrs for decision till Monday. This is after being told someone will call back. They did not, I called them and same ole answer cb. Who trained these people, and are they taught how to handle business or aggravate?

I moved six months ago. I signed up with Terminix about 3 months ago. I have had nothing but problems. It’s taken a month and still no call back from a supervisor! I juggle two kids and two dogs all day and have been totally inconvenienced by them! No one will help me. NOONE! First I had two different inspectors from there check my attic. The first lord telling me we have a raccoon up there and basically was trying to prey on a stay at home mom to make a sale. The second inspector said the complete opposite. Then I call because I have wasp nests in both my attics as well as stink bugs which is preventing my husband from putting mesh on the vents. Four or five times I have had a technician here to tell me they don’t have a ladder! Then a manager Carlos calls and leaves a message telling me the complete opposite of what every representative has told me as well as technician. I called him and left a voicemail and NEVER got a call back! Then I had a rep send a level 3 email to the higher ups and still have not received anything! I am so angry and disappointed! Never will I recommend this company to anyone!

Terminix - Pest Constrol
Since I have signed up with Terminix, I have requested a copy of the contract
at east 7 different times and they still cannot send me a copy, but they have my address and email. They have made many appts with me as I take off work and they are a no show, no call. When I call in to ask what's going on they offer no apology but reschedule. I have been noticing that they are also rescheduling unbeknownst to me. Recently they were come out on the 24th but when I called in they said is was rescheduled for the 27 but yet again they did not show up. I asked to talk with a manager about 5-6 times and they say they will have to call me back but no ever does. I asked to be let out of my contract since they are not honoring their end and they stated I would have a $600 early term fee. This Terminix is out of Ft Smith, AR. I will never use them again. As far as I am concerned they are scamming me out of $100 a month for 12 months. And it cost me $400 Deposit so this is $1600.00 for 1 year of service for ants and terminates they majority of the time when I call they will not come out.
Desired outcome: I want 6 months refund and to end my contract. I have taken off work 5 different time that cost me money and loss of wages.

I signed up for a Rat Exclusion Contract on 3/4/22. One of their technicians came out and placed (Supposedly) 12 sticky mats to catch the rats under my house. I have since started with another pest control company - they only found 5 sticky mats. The inspector that I signed the contract with (Jose Ayala) told me a technician would be out to check the traps every 2-3 days. I have not heard one word from them since. Have texted-called no one responds to me. I called Terminix Main number - have spoken to 2 different customer service reps - told them I want to cancel the contract - they were not delivering any of the terms I was promised when I signed. They will not send me a copy of the contract I signed. I finally received a call from the sales manager from the Gardena office — Kevin Mulcahy - told me he will put the refund through. Nothing has been refunded. I have been working on this for 2 months. Worst service ever.
Service
Through a paid contract with Terminex extermination service in my zip code area, this service company was supposed to clean my attic of mouse droppings. A service date was set three different times, (April 7th, 11th, and 21st, 2022) and each time no one showed up. I complained to the Terminex manager the second date (the 11th) and the manager promised me service today. (4/21/22). No one showed up. I tried to reach the manager and my call was not returned.
Desired outcome: I would really like the service done in my attic - I paid for it and I have grandchildren visiting soon, so I really don't want this done too close in time to when they visit.
Roach extermination
Last date of 3rd spray 4/7/2022. The technician came out 3 different times, there were large number of German Roaches in rental home we rent. The treatment had little effect on the roaches they are now still running everywhere. Technician said he could not get to where they were at. My husband gave him a ladder and he climbed up to attic and said he did not...

Our contact with Terminix started on Nov. 26 or 27th 2021. We had an Airbnb home when a guest reported bedbugs on Nov. 26th. We acted quickly, made a call, why we choose Terminix over Orkin, they did not charge for an inspection. 11/29/21 Taycee Williams came to inspect and found bed bugs in back bedroom on queen bed. I was the one to make contact with Terminix; Jan Clark, however Brian Clark was present when Taycee inspected. Money was given to her that day, 11/29/21 for $967.50 to treat the bedbugs. She had Brian's contact, email and supposedly his phone number, and was to receive a phone call or email to inform of treatment date, we waited and waited for that contact; I again contacted them, got a date, however those details are not documented and they did not show up at the time scheduled. We did finally get the service done on 12/6/21. After some research of my own and beginning the clean everything in the home began I found evidence that there were bedbugs in the small bedroom, however it was not reported (by a professional)
When treatment was done we were not given any documentation, supposedly their system was down. From get go something just didn't seem right, remember saying think we've been scammed. Made numerous phone calls after this to get paperwork, schedule an inspection which they were to call us for, called a manager, Shawn Kirby, he assured me that my concern would be passed on, still nothing. I made the mistake of saying sometimes my husbands and my communication lacks. They took that and used it against us, very unprofessional and pointing a finger at us as customers to feel it was the communication that was the problem.
Inspection on 12/20/21 that I had to call as no one was getting back with us, set it up for 12/21/21 in the afternoon, Jerry Jenkins comes a day early, just by chance I was able to get there. I had complaints to share of our dissatisfaction, and that I was concerned I saw a live bedbug. He assured me that nothing was there and that he supposedly treated to give me peace of mind. We closed the door, gradually got everything cleaned after we bagged everything, I mean everything up and laundered to assure nothing was missed. No one was in the house other than putting away items that had been cleaned, vacuumed. I trusted Terminix, hind sight I should have been looking for the beasts but did not... offered the home for rental, trusting it was good. And the person fixed the bed, and bedbugs! I called Terminix, no name of number could be given to me, however I could write a letter, finally my case was heard then I was to wait; Tyson was to call me within 48 hours, no one called, found the number on our contract for complaints, someone was to call me within 48 hours, Scott. Still waiting!
We need the word to get out, we were treated poorly and taken advantage of! Took our ignorance and profited from us, but seriously something was off from get go. NO ONE NO ONE else should be scammed and treated as we were. The word needs to get out not to contract with Terminix please! I would love to be refunded our money, wouldn't it be nice to also recap our loose of revenue, but mostly stop this kind of deceptive business. Thank you for looking it this matter.

The Terminex location at 2680 Roberts Ave NW Ste A Canton, OH 44709 was called due to mice in our home in Medina, Ohio. When the salesman "Tracy" got to our residence he was on full "Salesman" mode according to my wife. My wife, bless her heart, is terrified of these mice! She wanted this problem mitigated as soon as possible. I later learned, this is exactly what they pry on. People that are so upset that they don't hear that all Terminex is doing, is taking your money for an insurance scam! When she signed up for this "pest control" They told her that the house would be mitigated "Seal all penetrations that the vermin can enter the home". We have a 2,700+ square foot house plus a three car garage, so it's not a small house. They also stated that she would get a $200.00 discount... never happened. They charged us $200.00 for adding four small strips of duct tape on the bottom of the garage door weather stripping! The techs that came to "Mitigate" the house actually worked on the house for less than 10 minutes. I know this because I have a security camera fixed on the side of my house facing the driveway where they parked. The rest of the entire 1/2 hour they were there, was spent eating their lunch! So basically I spent almost $1,700.00 for these guys for 10 minutes. Oh yeah... They NEVER even entered the house! So they actually never knew how bad the infestation really was. When I called to complain to Tracy (multiple times) he finally said to me that all I had to do was go online and send back the termination of the agreement) I did exactly that, and was still billed in full. My wife has been going through some very difficult times with her ex-husband, and was terrified that this would effect her credit, so she paid the invoice in full without my knowledge at the time. Prior to her paying them, I told her that I was going to call our attorney and dispute the charge, but I was too late. She paid this from FEAR of them ruining her credit! Anyone reading this, PLEASE stay far away from this company. They are totally dishonest, and couldn't care what they are supposed to actually do. They should never be in this business! Ironically, Within 48 hours of my wife's payment to them, I received a CANCELLATION of the contract! Unbelievable!
Desired outcome: I want the $1,200.00 back that my wife sent them! She should have never paid them for something they lied about!! They can keep the $500.00+ for the 10 minutes of work and a few bait stations they threw around the outside of my house...

I am writing to you because of my frustration and disappointment with a problem I have with my Terminix pest control contract. I am a termite and pest control customer for over 10 years. During early 2020 I needed to temporarily cancel my pest control service because of financial circumstances. When I first entered my pest control contract it included my 2 attached properties under 1 contract. (3142 & 3144 Schley Ave) Recently my financial circumstances improved, and I called to reinstate my earlier contract with your Armonk/White Plains, New York branch. I was told that the old contract was not possible, and the new agreement would consider my properties as 2 separates, and I would need to pay 2 times as much as before. I was paying $151.34 / qtr. As a long-term customer, I thought the branch would accommodate my previous contract and continue our long-term relationship. I would hope that Terminix can be flexible and help me continue your service.
Attic clean up and insulation
Serve them right! We recently hired them to perform a clean out and blow-in insulation for our attic. According to their field inspector, it will be a 2 days job. Day 1 they will come out to "vacuum everything out down to the bare bones. All the trash, debris, rat droppings, old attic insulation and contamination will come out." And, Day 2 they will do the blown-in insulation. However, the contractor they sent out refused to clean anything but just took out the insulation, leaving in all the rat droppings and debris that was supposedly health hazardous. Not to mention that one of their crews kept going to the back of our house (for whatever reasons) when the entry to the attic was all the way in the front, which my partner had specifically directed them to. Our indoor camera shows her walking past the camera recording range to our master bedroom several times. The house is currently going through a major renovation so we already cut off all the water and swept up everything on the floor in the bedrooms and kitchen area to have it ready for tiling. However, after this crew left our property, the floor in our kitchen and bedroom were wet with a foul smell of urine. It's extremely disgusting! While we have no camera in these areas to know what exactly the woman was doing, one could have guessed with the trail of clues! Their work should be just in the attic and the attic entry is in the front, she has no business going into our kitchen and bedroom, multiple times!
I was unhappy with their finished "cleaning" work as it was not what I had agreed to and paid for. So I refused to let them continue their blown-in insulation work the second day. The manager finally called me and asked why I was unhappy with the work. I explained to him that according to his field inspector, I expected to get my attic completely clean out, free from all debris first before the insulation goes back in. With a very rude tone, the guy told me that I was "oversold" because that's not in their work scope. Well excuse me but it is not my fault that your field inspector "oversold." We have his email with the work that needs to be done listed out. The guy hesitantly came back and said he will send the crew back out "after 10 AM on Monday" to clean and vacuum the attic. My partner and I both work so I replied to him asking for a time window when they will be there since "after 10 AM" is a very open day and we can't be there the whole day. He did not respond to my question. Also, I told the guy that his contractor kept going to the back of my house and now we are left with a foul urine smell after they left. The guy immediately dismissed it. He denied that nothing like that could happen. Even if I have no solid proof of what she did back there, I have recordings of her going to the back of the house where she has no business to be. The retard just brush off the issue and said I need to talk to their contractor because that's "his crew". I don't see why I need to talk to their contractor. I paid them for the project, and it's not my responsibility to manage their contractor and the quality of their work. It's Terminix's job to do that. We thought going with a company as big as Terminix would guarantee the quality of the work but this is completely NOT the case. It's the worst customer service ever. I will never use their service again.
Service Plans
I would like to raise a few issues that I have had experienced with Terminix. When Manuel Hanson out of the Newburgh office came to my house on December 22, 2021. He said that he was Marine, just like myself and that I can trust him and that I should sign up for the all exclusion package with a monthly subscription price and that I can cancel it at any time. He told me that I am not really supposed to tell you this and not many people know this, but you can cancel all of these services at anytime and you will not lose any money or any of our services that were already completed.
When I had issues with the work that was done and the same problems that I had with mice in the attic, I called to find out why I have not been billed for anything and how do I cancel the plan. The initial person that answered the phone was really nice, it was not till I was transferred to someone in Newburgh. They are extremely rude and do not answer any questions. I was told that I can’t cancel the service and that there is a penalty to cancel and the original amount that I was told was going to be $1,400 bucks for the exclusion service, it is actually $1,628.
When I called Manuel Hanson to ask him why he misrepresented the company, he stated that he got promoted now and that he can’t help with this and that he is the branch manager in Newburgh and if I need help to call the 1800 number. When I did call the 1800 number, I was told that he is not the branch manager, and that Katlin Collins is. I was lied to about the Terminix services, and I wish to terminate without any penalty all and every service that has been completed be Terminix.
I never signed up for a monthly service, nor did I ever have any intentions to sign up for a monthly service. I was told that I can cancel it at any time without penalty and that I did not really needed it and Manuel suggested that I just try it out for a month.
Desired outcome: Cancel all services from Terminix and never ever ever again have to deal with unprofessional people and professional liars.

I signed a contract with a company that terminix bought out. I spoke to customer service when they took over and explained that Gregorys (previous company) was a small personal company and that I wanted the same personal service to include a scheduled time verified with the home owner so that inside service could be provided. I also told them that if they were too big a company for the personal service I was receiving to cancel my service. For over a year and a half of me calling and making the same statement and them assuring me they would get it right and call the next time I finally got someone on the phone that said they could not provide that and cancelled me. I did still get charged for over a year of service ($380) although service had not been done as they had not been calling and setting the appointments. They claimed that they had done the outside service and would call the next time (and no they did not). If they did the outside service I have no clue, they would not verify if they had jumped my fence to do around the back of the house. Either way we had bugs inside the house for the entire year and a half that they supposedly were treating the outside.
Desired outcome: I just want the public to know how I was treated and to expect the same.
They are terrible! ihad damage from termintes april 30, 3021 and call tjem to come inspect damage. they pro, ised to come in 2 weeks. I have called them many times and reproted them to bbb it is now 1/31/2022 and no word from them, will go to small claums court as I have pics and repair cost.

I have used Terminix for a number of years, but recently have had an issue with their scheduling. They would ignore my original time and date and would schedule me at their own convenience. I made repeated calls to them and finally told them I no longer needed their service. I received monthly billing for a service date that was not performed. I have text message documentation from the service rep confirming this. I have received a letter from a credit agency and called them. They said they would initiate a dispute with Terminix but I should also call them. I did and was advised that an email would be sent to the local office. I never heard back so I went to that office and s/w a manager who said he would call me back the following business day. He never did call me. I want this erroneous billing to be deleted and confirmed in writing. I have a perfect credit rating and will fight to the end if it is compromised. The service date in question was 5/25/2021. The service technician was Raymond Urbano and the manager is Noberto Rivera.

I have been with TERMINIX for over 30 years! I am complaining about concern over my account for Pest control. My contract started out at $139 plus tax. This service is for outside and around my home, only
Over the years my statement fluctuated without explanation or warning.
It went from $139 to $190.00 before tax. In November 2019, I had Management in my area return my many unanswered calls. We settled on $139.00 again plus tax = $150.01. I waited and waited for something in writing. I called many many times and was told Management in my area will get back to me. Well, the return call is a one-way street. If I missed the call, the message says something to the effect "sorry I missed you, please call back at a less busy time, leave a message and someone from your area will get back to you" I keep missing the calls because my phone doesn't pick up anonymous calls and the caller I.D. DO NOT SAY "TERMINIX".
As you can see from my account, the amount crept up to $185.00 without notice.
I am appalled at the miscommunication and bill increase now followed by threats on missed payments (I owe $21.73 according to TERMINIX)
I am a single parent and work full-time at the hospital near my home. I cannot deal with miscommunication and price gauging on insect control.
I understand TERMINIX is a choice. I don't have to use your service but until now I have been an excellent customer and also use TERMINIX for termite control.
Desired outcome: I WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK WITH A HUMAN BEING REGARDING MY ACCOUNT. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE CONTRACT WE SPOKE OF FOR $139.00 plus tax. I see you are offering $99.00 for new customers.
Paying for termination fee and additional charges for services not rendered
I had a termite bait station put in around my house about 6 months ago. I moved to TX for job opportunity. I have been trying to cancel my service for about a month now. I have spoken to several customer reps who have said it will be cancelled and no more payments will be processed. Those were all lies due to know the 2nd monthly payment has been processed since I have left. I explained that I had to move and no longer live there. I was finally told that I would have to pay an early termination fee on top of the remaining payments for the year which is about another $1000. This is a business that is charging me for services not rendered because once cancelled they are coming to get their bait stations.
