I booked a table at tgi in Newport at 8:30 , we arrived , the place looked dirty. Floor had chips and other mess over , seats were sticky , when I went to the toilet they weren’t clean and locks were broken. I ordered food about 8:40 we waited a little while when it arrived the starter was ok we had the vegan chicken . After this for main I had a sirloin steak medium rare and it came out well done , my partner had the vegan burger she said it was cold. She had garlic chips on the side and they were so greasy (oil dripping). The bill came to 55 pound wouldn’t be going here again!

Food cold, food didn’t arrive, drinks wrong
We visited your Royal exchange restaurant as a works Christmas party of 8, the table was booked for 4pm, myself and another friend got there at 15.45 as not to be late, and were told we had to come back at 4pm, to which we asked “could we not have a drink At the bar,? “ We were told “it was closed” and we had to come back, the weather was bad and our party guests would be there soon so could the 2 of us sit inside to which the lady went “oh go on then” and walked away.
The rest of our party turned up and we were abruptly told you only have till 17.30 to vacate at Theo’s point it was 16.01 and we had t been seated or any orders taken.
We got seated and drinks orders were taken, my friend ordered a porn star martini which was served in a whiskey tumbler! Being a cocktail establishment she asked for the correct glass as the drink only went 1/4 of the way up the glass, she was told they didn’t have any, in drinking this drink it was bitter so she sent it back to the waiter, who changed it for something else.
Our food came, starters were lovely apart from 1 person didn’t get her wedges, she was vegetarian, so we had all eaten so she told the waiter not to bother bringing them as we would move on to the main course.
3 people had the Christmas menu and all 3 meals were stone cold, when I say cold I mean I mean you could of given it to a child that was weaning, the waiter offered to change the 3 meals which he did, but it took ages and by the time we got ours everyone else was finished there Meals, and were coming up to the allotted time that we had to vacate, which was stressful, the waiter said “it’s ok you can stay till you are finished” which was very nice all considering! We then had dessert which was lovely mine was cheese cake, but my plate must of come straight out of the dishwasher as it was red hot, I ate it anyway! As most of us left the main meal due to the chicken been chargrilled longer than it should have been it was very tough, but hot. We paid the bill, of £230 + and left , the wedges were taken off the bill, the whole experience was a shambles, although one member of staff stood out called Steven he couldn’t apologise enough! We will not be visiting that establishment again.

Food quality drastic decline
12/6/2022 12:30 p.m.we tried to go i to TGIF #1190 only to discover a locked door. Going arond to another door we entered a dark, dank reception area. We ordered fish and chips which tasted like fish sticks from the freezer. The Half rack of ribs were not any better. It was explained that this location is having issues getting shipments and product. This was the worst meal we have had in a long time
Desired outcome: . Therefore, I would like corporate to visit this location and correct the drastic decline going on. Start in the kitchen and move on to the menu. Return the Original menu an food quality.
Service
We sat down at 7.15 or there about. Waited 20 mins for staff to come and ask what we wanted. Drinks took another 30 minutes to arrive. We then had to walk to other side of restaurant to get a manager to come and take our food order. She didn’t write any of this down and when our meals did arrive I had chilli on mine that I’m allergic too. My daughters was cold so both meals went back. Then then brought us new which was lovely. Then 5 minutes later two more arrived where they’d double ordered. We would have had another drink but staff were so busy we couldn’t catch their attention. By which time had gone on so we asked for bill. That was the quickest thing they brought all night. We do come very often as my daughter loves it. This was definitely our worse experience and £50 I wish I hadn’t spent. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks Claire

On the behalf of some of the workers at Orland park TGI fridays i would like to raise awareness on how the staff was treated and how the store was ran. Before Caroline Devries became Gm the store was doing well ! After she came that’s when it went down hill. She would close the store early . When a cook didn’t show up in the morning time she refused to cook so thar resulted to us only doing to gos only. She also allow cooks and servers to take food home uncooked. When inventory day came she would lie on her numbers to make it look good. She used to say All the time how she wanted the store to close so we can all go to tinley and make more money and get bonuses. Frequently she would use the “N” word because she thought since her kids was half African American she could. When it came to the safe we barely had money she would take money out to use for gas since she lived so far and Bassem wouldn’t give her a raise. She would never be at the store the shift supervisors ran the store! Now that orland closed because of her lack of careless she will be Gm in tinley and they are stealing money there ! They are discriminating against the workers. I have multiple witness who is willing to write statements
Tgi fridays bacon & ranch chips
I purchased a bag at a local gas station & not one single chip was flavored ! I thought it must be a single mistake. Went back a week later & bought another bag & the exact same thing ! Of course the store said there was nothing they could do. Contact tgi fridays. Of course not a single word.. did not even eat the chips. Waste of money I will never get back.

I had a table book for half past 5 last night at your Glasgow branch for my daughter birthday before we went to pantomime. When we got to tgi we were meet with a que right out the door I went to your security and explained that I had a booking to be in form that I still had to join the cue in the rain with 3 kids and my elderly mother. I Join the que which I was in for abt 20 min to receive a email to say my booking has been cancelled leaving me and my party with nowhere to eat. My table had been booked for over a week beforehand so think this is unaceppable services for a big chain like tgi. My daughter was so looking forward to her tgi treat for it not to happen

Awful experience
I booked a meal for 10 people for my daughters 11th birthday on Tuesday 15th November the who experience was t for good, food orders took over 30mins to arrive, when my meal arrived the waitress past me a bowl of halloumi fries and the bowl was red hot I dropped it on the floor and burnt my finger, she did nothing about it just said sorry, I asked to see the manager and said I needed an ice pack which took nearly 30mins for her to bring it. Everyone received their meals apart from my daughters who birthday it was because the chef had burnt it so it had to be re done, she was then sat waiting for her meal and it came after we had finished ours. I never received another bowl of halloumi fries. I had taken a birthday cake so that they could sing to my daughter which I had stated at the time of booking, they brought the cake out on a hot plate and placed it in front of her and walked off, not one member of staff would sing to her after I asked? Another table behind us got the whole restaurant staff singing. The bill then can and it was over £272 and the whole experience was upsetting not just for myself but for my daughter on her birthday. I would appreciate it if something could be done ie compensation, so that my daughter can come and enjoy the experience she should of got.

In Colerain Township area, I met up with a Co-worker at this location, the first Waitress name was Amy, Amy's customer service was horrible at first, she didn't come back and ask us if we wanted anything we had to get someone else to ask her to come to our table, we was not assisted any kind of way, she waited on other people, and really not us persay, we didn't receive good customer service from this waitress at all, me and my co-worker was shocked when the waitress asked us to cash out with her because she is about to leave, and I said we are not done with our food, yet, she hung out for a little bit, to see if we would cash out with her, we was not done with our food and drinks yet. she said that her son was waiting on her, and she gave us the bill and she seemed a little personable towards the end of her shift, and I said to my co-worker, had she started out being personable like this I would have tipped her, then another waitress by the name of Gidget, at first she seemed personable, at first but then when I gave her the bill that Amy gave us which is the first waitress and she said let me go to the back to check this receipt and see if it's the right receipt, and then she shouted out loud, ya'll had $60.00 worth of drinks, I said I can afford it, it was embarrassing and the receipt amount was different from our original receipt with Amy, this last waitress acted like we were about to steal, and we are hard working women who do not have to steal we were targeted and mistreated, also the waitress told us not to come back and I said that I won't. I talked to the Manager about this and the Manager said that she would talk to her, and hope that we do come back after this waitress said not to come back, me and my co-worker were furious about this situation and we may never patronize this restaurant again.

Chips
I bought tgif chili cheese crinkle fries for a two year old child. He put the chip in his mouth and immediately started screaming. I thought he bit his lip or tongue. Screaming spitting and drooling I couldn’t figure out what was wrong! I couldn’t see blood or anything else and he continued screaming pointing to his mouth. I decided to try a chip. These chips are hotter than flaming hot! Nothing on label says HOT! No ingredients point you there being any heat yo these chips. I don’t know if they were poorly labeled or put in the wrong bag. I intend on contacting my attorney!
TGI Friday's Service, Overcharging, No Discount access due to website faulty
TGIF MAJOR CATASTROPHY
9:00PM 5/21/2022 Our party of 5 dined at TGIF inside GOLD COAST CASINO on 4000 W Flamingo LV NV 89103.
We've been a Friday Rewards email member, for several years, and therefore asked, as usual, for the free chips & salsa, that we NEVER RECEIVED, when the server ASKED FOR PROOF!
Server stayed with us for over 10 mins as we tried multiple times to access YOUR TGIF website with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WORKING. WEBSITE INACTIVE, GREAT WI FI CONNECTION, BUT COULDN'T EVEN SIGN UP NEW ACCOUT. (Even a month later on 6/25/22 New account sign up is unaccessable!) YOUR WEBSITE WAS FAULTY!
Server said he would send the MANAGER! OK! ...WE NEVER SAW A MANAGER ALL NIGHT!
Without conformation, due to YOUR FAULTY WEBSITE, NO chips & salsa!
Server came back, took orders, understanding that APPETISERS WERE DISCOUNTED IN THE BAR, WHICH IS WHERE WE WERE, BUT THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN!
Other orders which were specific, and written on the check, were IGNORED!
SEVERAL attempts to access YOUR WEBSITE DISCOUNTS, were unavailable due to YOUR FAULTY WEBSITE! YOUR WEBSITE WAS FAULTY!
Food arrived, by 4 different staff, not knowing who ordered what! THEN...
THEN, THEY DISSAPEARED! We never had ANYONE to check on us, refill, everything ok? NOTHING!
Only to bring the check, with NO DISCOUNTS, NO CHIPS & SALSA, NO MANAGER! NOTHING!
EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE, OVERCHARGED, WITH NO ATTENTION TO DETAIL!
Desired outcome: Value of our entire check +$150 reimbursed
Food and Timing issues
We had a party of 6 booked in at Resorts world on Sunday 26th June at 7.30pm under the name J. Reay for a 20th Birthday celebration. We had also booked an escape room for 9.30pm at Resorts World, Birmingham, allowing 2 hours for our meal. We were shown to our table, we ordered drinks for everyone as 2 of our party were running 15 mins late. The drinks took 20 mins to arrive, the restaurant wasn’t overly busy and seemed well staffed. Eventually at about 8pm we were asked for our meal order, 3 of us wanted steak, others wanted nachos and other sides, we were then told that there was no Steak, no corn, no sweet potato, no nachos, and no slaw. The waitress explained there had been a giant mix up and they hadn’t got all these items. Most of the foods not available were TGI fridays signature items, the reason for going as the party love TGI food. After selecting next meal choices and obviously without the sides of choice we ordered, and in view of the time it took for the drinks, we ordered the starters to come at the same time.
The meal eventually arrived at approx 8.50pm. The food was good, but obviously disappointing to not have our meal of choice but also lacking the main sides that you are known for. The gravy that accompanied the dishes was absolutely stone cold but by now we were running out of time, so just left it.
We just about managed to eat what we wanted from the meal but had no time to wait for dessert as we had been there nearly 2 hours by now. Had we not ordered the starters to come at the same time as the main, I don’t think we would have had time to eat our main courses.
I appreciate that sometimes there are issues with deliveries etc but to not have 5 of the main food items that people go to TGI fridays for, seems very poor. Had we known in advance, we would have changed our booking to another night. We had nice evening and the food that we ordered although not what we originally wanted, was nice. Considering the restaurant wasn’t overly busy, the timing for service of the actual food was very slow.
In the end, we paid nearly £250 for a very poor choice menu and a two hour
Desired outcome: Drinks were included, but we would like to return when you have a full menu and would appreciate a TGI voucher towards the cost of a proper TGI meal. 😀

I was booked in my local TGI Fridays, Newport road Cardiff, on 31st December at 3pm.
I booked a table for 6, which consisted of 5 adults & 1 child. I did not include my 5 month old baby in the booking as they would not need a high chair and would not be in a pushchair. I planned on holding the baby during the meal as he does not sit in a high chair yet.
Upon arriving at the restaurant for a New Year's Eve dinner my family was turned away as there was 7 of us.
I pointed out to the young girls at the entrance that children under 11 are not included in the rule of 6 but they checked with other members of staff and we were told the only option available to us was to be sitted separately in the restaurant.
We then left and thankfully were able to find a different restaurant with room to accommodate us.
I have included a screenshot of the current alert level 2 guidance for wales, point no.5 clearly shows children under 11 are not included in the rule of 6.
Could you please educate your staff on this point and in order to provide good customer service they should check these rules before refusing custom.
It was a very disappointing experience.

I went to TGI at 650 College Ave, Newark De. and sat and waited about 25 mins. for my food and that was okay, because I was told that it would take about 20 min. I walked back to the hotel and open the bag, just to find out that my salad was missing. When I called TGI Friday and I spoken to the manager name Irlene and asked her can someone bring my salad to me and she said we can't do that when it was their fault that I was missing my salad. The Hotel was about 12 to 16 steps from TGI Friday. She said to me you are going to have to come and get it and that she will give me the salad and money back for the salad, she should have comp my whole meal for the inconvenience of me walking back over there. I said to Irlene that I am going to call corporate office about the inconvenience, and she said if you call corparate I wouldn't give you your money back, I told her that I am still going to call corparate and she can give me my money back and that I will let corparate know what she done by just giving me the money back for the Salad and I was not happy, because I should have never had to go back to pick up my food. Irlene as a manager should have walked it over to me. She was not a pleasant manager. Check # 2933 Store # 1521 Bill was $45.15 and she removed just the Salad. I should never had to go back

Me and my daughter have been going to TGI Fridays for years, but last night was probably our last trip ever. You have lost 2 loyal customers.
She ordered chicken tenders, and I ordered flat iron steak.
The chicken tenders were very small, the portion was about half the usual size. The flat iron steak was not a steak, it was a few small bite size pieces, the description is very misleading, (lie). The third party with us ordered shrimp and chicken, which looked smaller than last time. The prices have increased significantly. We got a lot less food on those first 2 dinners, and our bill was $102 with our drinks, which was significantly too high for the 3 skimpy plates of food we got. I know that companies reduce portion sizes to be sneaky about increasing prices, but those portions were ridiculous! It was as if we were served kid-sized meals!
We did not feel full when we left as we usually do, we were very disappointed and my friend said he would never go back. We didn't complain to the waitress because she was the only waitress working that night, and she was very helpful and cheerful despite being the only waitress, and her being responsible for both sides of the restaurant, and she was working really hard.

Just want to share my experience when i dine-in in tgif, Qatar, Landmark Mall, Last Thursday, August 12, 2021, around 8:30pm. First When we come in all the stuff are very friendly. Then we take our orders. A filipina waitress approach us and took our orders. Before we make order we told her that we will be using our entertainer with the steak that we will order. And we ordered the new york strip and classic ribeye. Then i ordered also the tacos but before she leave she offered us to take another 1 main course (we didn't know thay tacos are one of the main course so she offered us to het another 1 main course so that it will be buy 1 get 1, this is her explanation) so since its buy 1 take 1. We got another order of pasta. We enjoyed the food so much then by the time we got our bill we were shocked. Cause what the waitress did she use our entertainer in 1 bill and the deduction only applied for tacos which that is not the planned. We told he that we will be using our entertainer in the steak. I called the manager but the manager is not available. Instead they give me the kitchen manager. I was expecting that they could do something about the mistake of the waitress. But the kitchen manager, named nasser, couldn't do anything but still insist us to pay for what they have billed us. I was so just disappointed about the service. Its not fair. So we paid the bill the kitchen manager only offered us 2 free cheesecake which is I appreciate it but i hope he was able to fix the mistake of the waitress. I hope this will not happen to any other customers.

Ruined Birthday and wasted Journey!

On Sunday the 8th Aug we had a table booked for my daughters 9th Birthday at 4pm at trinity Leeds. We arrived at 3:15pm as our daughter was really excited and wanted to get inside- like you do when your a little girl and its your birthday! So we decided to have some drinks before hand.
We got to TGIs and was confronted with a sign outside the door saying "Sorry we are not serving food today. I asked the young boy on the door how long the restaurant had been closed and he said most of the day. The boy stated he had tried to call us to let us know and that he had left us a voice mail. I checked my phone and he had called me at 3:08pm, If TGIs had phoned us earlier we could have made alternative arrangements for my daughters birthday. Another young boy came to the door as our daughter was heart broken and stated that we should catch a taxi to wellington street to another TGIs and in his words will only cost a couple of quid each way but we wasn't repaired to do that, maybe they could have called us a taxi out of good will for the poor communication. At this point that was the last thing I wanted to hear as we had already paid for wasted Taxi and train journeys to Leeds then decided against trying wellington street as he had not even checked availability for us.
You certainly gave our little girl a great day to remember... NOT!
I have wrote a few complaints out as I found this a very disappointing experience and extremely unprofessional. Not One person from TGIs as been in touch!
