My son Callum (18 years old) and his girlfriend Meg (17 years old) came into your Bluewater restaurant yesterday for a meal as Christmas present from his parents.
Megan booked a table for 6.30pm but was told to wait at the bar until his table was ready which took over 20 minutes, why book a table if you have to wait?
Meg has a gluten allergy and a manager was called over straight away, the way their server and the manager dealt with her allergy was excellent and Meg felt comfortable and safe to eat there, so well done to your staff, unfortunately Callum’s beer took 15 minutes to turn up even though Meg had her coke! Their starters were lovely. When their Mains, The New York Strips turned up they were both cooked wrongly, one was meant to be rare but turned up well done and the other was medium and turned up very well done! so were sent back, it then took over 30 minutes for them to receive their food again, their steaks were both chewy and fatty and they couldn’t eat them, as they are both young they didn’t want to complain again, which is why I am emailing you. My family eat regularly at TGI and have wonderful food so I was disappointed that after spending £75 they didn’t eat much of it! Also the meal took over 2 hours, far too long for 2 people to have just a starter and main!
I wait to hear from you
Regards
Debbie Pickrell (Callum’s mum)
