Jewel cleaner by soaq
I purchased 4 of these jewelry cleaners to give as Christmas gifts. I received an email saying that they had been delivered when in fact, I had not received them. I checked the tracking number and noticed that they had been delivered to a PO Box in an entirely different city in TX. When I emailed their customer support they said that their records said it was still in transit and provided me with a link to track. I call the USPS customer service line and through automated service was told that the tracking number is associated with a SCAM. I am so upset! I fear my identity has been compromised and I will never see the products I ordered.

This is an all time low for The Grommet. Seeing a product like this tells me that things have a way of slipping through the cracks even with your great team. Please regain your integrity and remove this product from your list.
The thing that get's me is that you guys thought this product was good enough to have it be the head line for your email blast today. I'm sure you'll find plenty of suckers to buy this, but to those of us paying attention, this looks like a scam. But as PT Barnum famously said, "There's one born every minute"
If these are the kinds of products you're selling now, I have a warehouse full of plastic bottles filled with local Northern California air that I'm selling for $20 each. Please let me know if you're interested in selling them on your website. ;p

I will not buy from them again!
I bought three items from this site and one item was incorrect. The Grommet support seemed nice, when I contacted them they said they'll send out the correct item right away. I shipped the wrong one back and according to their rep I was supposed to get an exchange within week or two.
After three weeks of waiting I decided to contact The Grommet to see what was going on. They said that everything was fine and said that there was nothing to worry about. One week later I contacted them again and received the same reply. I still haven't received anything except for tons of empty promises. I will not buy from them again!

Calendar
The first week of December 2016, I purchased a calendar as a Christmas gift. The Calendar arrived on time, but only after looking at the calendar I realized it was for 2016. Why would they even be selling a 2016 in December 2016? The listing did state it was a 2016 calendar, but the information was not that obvious. I would not expect anyone to be selling an outdated calendar at full price. The fact that they were even selling this product, leaves me no trust in the company or its products.
Awful customer service
While they do have some interesting products, their customer service is AWFUL. I received an email saying my order had shipped. When I still hadn't received it a week later, I found out that in fact it hadn't shipped yet. They then repeatedly ignored my request to cancel the order since it would be arriving too late to give on date I intended. Then they asked for my opinion on their customer service and when I advised them of how poor it was, I got absolutely NO RESPONSE.
So if you find something you want, make sure you really really want it and there is no need to receive it in a timely manner.
Furthermore, if you find something you like, check to see if it is on Amazon. The "unique" product that I ordered, was available on Amazon with Prime shipping.
Shipping
Placed an order on 12/6 for a water bottle. Happened to check the site out due to a coupon. Took nearly 2 days to receive order confirmation, which was weird already. I had to submit a help ticket for order information. Shipping information was the usual, USPS tracking number through email. The problem is that as of today (12/18), nothing has changed on my tracked shipment, still showing that USPS is waiting for the package to get to them. It's been nearly 2 weeks since I put the order in and I haven't gotten any updates or reasons as to why it's taking so long to ship my order.
The other weird thing is that my order doesn't show up at all in my account on their website. Kind of a red flag for an online shopping experience.
I just submitted a ticket to cancel my order and will no longer buy anything from them. I am also letting my friends know to stay away.
I understand that it's holiday season and that things can get backed up, but not hearing a peep about your order while it's already late is a pretty bad sign.
Terrible website
Ordered a gift from The Grommet and did not receive it. When I contacted The Grommet customer service I spoke to a very nasty rep who did not want to listen to me at all. I tried to explain that I did not receive my order but the person was very rude and did not lot me to tell a word! The worst customer service I ever experienced! They never helped me and provided no information about my order! What a terrible company to deal with!

Seller refused to take stuff back
Scam. I have purchased stuff from www.thegrommet.com and no one has warned me that I couldn’t return all these items, if I have opened them. I of course opened the stuff and wanted to try it, but the quality wasn’t so good. I asked the rep about refund, but it was useless. The seller interrupted me and told that I wouldn’t get my money back. Avoid this website.
They refused to accept my card
I had experience on the website www.thegrommet.com. I placed the order and entered my card details, but the website refused to take it. It was mentioned that card holder’s name didn’t exist and the card was expired. Seriously, everything was ok with my card. But I tried to contact the customer services, but they simply didn’t exist on the website. Run from this company and it doesn’t worth it to order from this scamming website.
Seller doesn't provide any help, but your order was lost
We ordered two original presents from the company www.thegrommet.com. The seller sounded professional and really nice, but in result we wasted money and this seller refused to help us. He sent the order, but it was lost somewhere. We contacted the seller, but he told us that it hasn’t been his problems. So be careful if you use this website or leave comments if you have horrible experience with this seller.
I can't reach the seller and return my money
I bought earphones from the website www.thegrommet.com. It cost me about $50 and after several weeks I haven’t received them. The seller provided me the confirmation email, but it didn’t provide any useful info. As well as the seller didn’t reply to emails and I have no idea what to do now. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Can you provide any good piece of advice?
