ticketsales.com is a rip-off
ticketsales.com is a rip-off. Partially my fault for not confirming their reputation prior to the purchase of concert tickets, from what I thought was the concert venue. Turns out to be a third party ticket sale. There was no evidence of this fact through the purchase process, nor of the exorbitant service charge until check-out. I ended up paying $776.34 for tickets that cost $339.36 at Ticketmaster. Fine print says all sales final. I'm pretty angry. I contacted ticketsales.com for some resolution. Silence!
Recommendation: just go to Ticketmaster directly
I previously wrote a poor review for ticketsales.com due to what I perceived as deceptive practices. I was contacted by a representative named Alex, and my complaints were addressed and rectified.
Worst decision you could ever make in ordering tickets!!!
Promised a suite and no such seats exist. It is a scam from the get go! They pay no doubt a lot of money to get reviews even down to a conflicted bbb reviews that says they are accredited and they are not. It shows them being a a+ rated company and actually have a rating of a f even though they are not accredited. Bbb takes the time to rate them because of high volume of compaints. They way overcharged me for tickets with a markup that is no disclosed until you get your cc statement. Absolutely nobody there to take phone calls and the chat box that is being tended to is there solely to let you know that under any circumstances you will not get a refund, apparently even if your concert has been cancelled. Do not make this mistake unless you want to give your money away. Some reviews say they would rate as a zero if they could but actually it would be more like a negitive number!
Recommendation: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY....IT IS A SCAM FROM THE START!!!!
Terrible Experience with Ticketsales.com: Invalid Tickets and Poor Customer Service Ruined Elton John's Last Tour
So, I bought some tickets for Elton John's last tour at Paycom Arena on January 30, 2022, at 8 pm central time from ticketsales.com. But when I got to the venue, I was denied entry even after scanning my tickets multiple times at different gates, like 8-10 times. The ticket box office/cashier told me that my tickets were invalid and fake, and my name wasn't even in their system. They advised me to contact ticketsales.com directly. But the show had already started, and I missed over half of it being on hold with ticketsales.com. It was my birthday gift, and I was so disappointed.
After 45 minutes of waiting on hold, ticketsales.com finally told me that they would give me new seats, which were far worse than the ones I had originally paid for. I paid $538.98 for the tickets, and I was promised compensation from the management within 24-48 hours, but I never heard back from them. I called multiple times, but I was hung up on before finally reaching someone. They asked me to fill out a form to get a refund, but I just want my money back. I paid for good tickets and missed half the show, which was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Ticketsales.com ruined everything, and their customer service was terrible.
I don't understand why the tickets they sold me were invalid, and they never explained it to me. They just sent me new ones after 45 minutes of waiting on hold. I want a refund immediately, and I shouldn't have to fill out a form for this. It was a horrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend ticketsales.com to anyone.
TicketSales.com Review: Buyer Beware of Hidden Terms and Delayed Ticket Delivery
I was trying to buy tickets to see Coheed and Cambria at the Anthem venue in Washington, DC using my trusty smartphone. I thought I was on the Anthem venue site, but I must have clicked on a TicketSales.com ad by mistake. I didn't realize it at the time, but I was in for a big surprise.
After completing my order, which was assigned Order number ***, I didn't receive any tickets. Instead, I got a notice that they would buy the tickets for me later and send them to me by 7/24/22, which was only two days before the concert. I was shocked and started to look around online to see if anyone else had experienced this. To my dismay, I found many complaints about TicketSales.com, including a lot on the Better Business Bureau BBB site. Most of the complaints were about people not understanding the terms and not receiving their tickets on time.
I became more and more worried about waiting five months to receive my tickets. I started to wonder if I would ever receive them at all. When I went back to the TicketSales site, I saw that all sales were final, which made me even more anxious. To make matters worse, my friend bought better tickets than mine from a normal ticket vendor site, and they cost less than half of what I paid TicketSales.com. He received his tickets right away, which made me feel even more frustrated.
I decided to contact TicketSales.com on their chat app and asked politely and repeatedly for a refund. However, they politely refused and eventually ended the chat, saying that their answer was final. I was left feeling helpless and frustrated. I decided to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and found many similar complaints. My Complaint ID was ***.
In conclusion, I would advise anyone to be careful when using TicketSales.com. They may not be what they seem, and you could end up paying more for tickets that you may not receive on time. It's always best to use a reputable ticket vendor site to avoid any unnecessary stress and frustration.
TicketSales.com Scam: Charged for Unconfirmed Purchase
So, I was checking out TicketSales.com to see if I could get tickets for a local event. I was hoping to buy three tickets, but I wanted to make sure that the date worked for everyone before I made the purchase. The website said that there were only a few tickets left, and the timer was counting down, so I wanted to be ready to buy them if my friends agreed to the date and time.
I entered my credit card and other information, but I didn't confirm the purchase because the date didn't work out for everyone. I closed the web browser box, and I thought that was the end of it. But then, I got an email confirming my ticket purchase!
I was really upset because I didn't confirm the purchase, and I didn't want to pay for tickets that I wasn't going to use. I called Ticket Sales right away to explain what happened, but they said that I had agreed to the terms and conditions and there was nothing they could do.
I even tried to dispute the charge with my credit card company, but they said that the process would take too long and I might end up paying for tickets that I never used. I called Ticket Sales again, but they still wouldn't help me.
I feel like I've been scammed, and I'm going to do everything I can to get my money back. I'm going to report this company and take them to small claims court if I have to. It's not right that they can take advantage of people like this. They stole my money, and I didn't even confirm the purchase!
TicketSales Review: Deceitful Tactics and Overpriced Tickets - Avoid at All Costs
I recently had an experience with TicketSales that left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. It's unfortunate that I didn't read the reviews beforehand, but I hope that by sharing my story, I can help others avoid the same situation.
I was searching for tickets to a specific venue and TicketSales came up in my search results. The venue name was in all caps at the beginning of the website, which made me think that I was purchasing directly from the venue. The prices seemed reasonable and they showed that there were still tickets available, so I went ahead and made the purchase.
However, I quickly realized that I had made a mistake. I was charged double the price of the tickets and there was a $200 fee on top of that. I tried to cancel the purchase, but was told that all sales were final. I was shocked and frustrated that I had been tricked into paying so much more than I had intended.
I later found out that TicketSales sells tickets that they don't even have and they protect their shady sellers. It's likely that these sellers are actually part of the same business, but they've found a loophole to operate in this way. It's a crafty and deceitful tactic that preys on unsuspecting customers.
I tried to cancel the purchase through my credit card company, but they said that there was nothing they could do. I felt helpless and disgusted that there are people out there who are willing to take advantage of others in this way.
In the end, I learned a valuable lesson about doing my research before making any purchases online. I hope that others will take heed and avoid TicketSales at all costs. It's not worth the risk of being scammed and taken advantage of.
Terrible Customer Service and No Refund Policy for Cancelled Events: My Experience with Ticketsales.com
So, I bought some tickets from ticketsales.com for a concert that I was really excited about. The tickets were sent to an AXS account for access, which was all good. But then, on the night of the concert, I got an email from AXS saying that the show was cancelled. Bummer, right? The next day, AXS sent another email saying that tickets purchased via AXS would be refunded within 30 days. But what about my tickets from ticketsales.com?
I waited a bit, but I never heard anything from ticketsales.com about a refund. So, I finally decided to contact them myself. The person I spoke with from customer service was not very helpful. In fact, they repeatedly told me that the show was NOT cancelled. I mean, come on! I even showed them the email from AXS, but they still wouldn't believe me.
I submitted a ticket through their online service, but no one ever got back to me. According to their website, I should have received compensation if an event is cancelled. They even have a policy for it! But no one has ever contacted me about it. I'm entitled to a refund, but no one will give it to me.
To make matters worse, the two men I spoke with over customer service were incredibly rude to me. I mean, I'm a single mother and $164.88 is a lot of money to lose out on for an event that was cancelled! It's just not fair.
Overall, I'm really disappointed with my experience with ticketsales.com. They didn't follow their own policy for cancelled events, and their customer service was terrible. I wouldn't recommend using them in the future.
Terrible Customer Service and Refund Experience with TicketSales for Cancelled Comedy Show
I recently purchased tickets from TicketSales for a comedy show at the Houston Improv that was scheduled for March 4th, 2022. Unfortunately, the show was officially cancelled by the venue in February due to the comedian being in rehab. Since then, I have been trying to get my money back from TicketSales, but it has been a frustrating and disappointing experience.
Every time I call their customer service representatives, they tell me that the show has only been postponed, despite my numerous confirmations from the Houston Improv that it was officially cancelled. I have called over 100 times at this point, but they refuse to let me speak to anyone in a supervisor position and have given me absolutely zero updates since the first email I received in March telling me that it was postponed.
It is very hard to believe that they are constantly reaching out to the venue for confirmation, but have not received any response at all. It feels like they are holding my money hostage and ripping me off. It has been 7 months now and they have done absolutely nothing to correct the situation. I am owed $200 and it is frustrating that I cannot get anyone to fix it.
I am absolutely disgusted by their lack of concern for their patrons and their terrible customer service. I will never buy tickets from this site again and I urge others to avoid it as well. If I could give negative stars, I would. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had with no follow-up and no expected resolution. It is a shame that a company like this is allowed to operate and take advantage of people.
Ticketsales.com Review: Scam Alert and Terrible Customer Service for Avett Brothers at Red Rocks Tickets
So, I accidentally bought some tickets through ticketsales.com when trying to get tickets for the Avett Brothers at Red Rocks. The AXS app redirected me to this 3rd party reseller, and I didn't really pay attention to what was happening. I bought the tickets in April 2021, and was told that they wouldn't be released to me until July 8th 2021, which is only two days before the show. I'm traveling from out of state to see this show, so getting the tickets so close to the event doesn't exactly make me feel confident that everything will be okay.
I've tried calling, emailing, and live chatting with this company, but I can't seem to get a straight answer as to why the tickets aren't being released to me. At first, they told me that the tickets hadn't been released from Red Rocks, but when I called Red Rocks, they said that wasn't true. When I told the customer service agent this, they said that the person reselling the tickets hadn't released them yet. So, I asked them to contact the person reselling the tickets, but they said they didn't have any information for them. How is that even possible? It seems like total BS to me.
When I told the customer service agent that I was going to dispute the charge if I didn't get any answers, they threatened me and said they would make my life hell before they gave me my money back. I've used other resale ticket platforms like StubHub and Vivid before, and I've never had these kinds of issues or terrible customer service. And if you email ticketsales.com instead of waiting on hold for 35 minutes, they won't even respond for 72 hours. Who does that?
Honestly, this company seems like a total scam, and I'm probably going to have to fight to get my $1200 back. I would definitely not recommend using them.
Buyer Beware: Terrible Experience with Ticketsales.com
I thought I was buying tickets from a good place, but boy was I wrong. I got an email asking me to review and accept the tickets, but I didn't accept them. Then, two days before the event, I got the tickets in my email. I was skeptical because I didn't accept them. The email said I was in "Row O," but there is no "Row O" in the venue. I wanted to be in "The Golden Circle" with a clear view of the stage. This was a big deal for me and my 83-year-old mother-in-law who has a head injury and is homebound. She spent her last birthday in the ICU. I looked for our seats and found out that there is no "Row O" in the venue. I should have done some research before buying the tickets. I got two tickets to "N row, seats 1 and 2," but I couldn't find them in any of the venue seating photos. I called the venue, and they said those seats don't exist. I wanted to get seats close to the aisle for my mother-in-law. I called the number on the ticket, but it was invalid. I looked online and found out that ticketsales.com is not listed in BBB, and if they were, they would get a "Z" rating. That's not good. I was worried that we might not get to see the show at all, so I bought two more tickets for the next day from another vendor. They were better seats and cheaper too. I finally got in touch with a man at ticketsales.com, and he was polite but refused to refund me. These were not the tickets I ordered. Even if the seats exist, they are not in "The Golden Circle," and they probably have obstructed views. I would not have paid so much for seats that were not fantastic. Do not buy from this vendor! I learned my lesson the hard way, but I will tell everyone I know about this.
TicketSales Review: Scam Alert - Do Not Trust This Site for Concert Tickets
I was really bummed when I found out that Smithtix was no longer around. It was the only way I ever bought concert tickets. But I was determined to find a way to get tickets for my boyfriend's birthday surprise. That's when I stumbled upon TicketSales. I thought I could trust this site, so I went ahead and bought tickets for my boyfriend's favorite band, Asking Alexandria, who were scheduled to perform on June 13th. I received a text a few days before the show saying that my tickets were emailed to me. When I opened the email, I downloaded the 'etickets' which had a note saying to 'ignore the incorrect name or price information on the tickets'. The name on the tickets was Matthew Taylor, which was not my name, and the price was $38.00, which was a huge difference from the $180 I paid for the two tickets. But I figured I could show them the email and the tickets at the door if necessary, so we went ahead with our plans.
On the day of the concert, we stopped at a restaurant for dinner on our way to SLC for the show. My boyfriend pulled up the venue's website to see what time the doors opened, and that's when we saw the bad news. Asking Alexandria had dropped off the tour due to their vocalist's throat infection. We never received any information from TicketSales or the venue about this change, so we were in a panic. We had paid $180 for tickets to see Asking Alexandria, and now they weren't even going to be there. We didn't even know who the three other warm-up bands were. And to make matters worse, TicketSales refused to give us a refund. The woman I spoke to on the phone had a hard time understanding me, and I had a hard time understanding her due to the language barrier and the noise in the background. She told me that I was out of luck and that the company would not refund me because I did not pay for the added ticket insurance. I was so frustrated and angry. Why would I need ticket insurance if the company wanted returning customers or added customers from reviews? I felt like I had been scammed.
I decided to file a fraud claim with my bank, the BBB, and the attorney general. I also wanted to leave a review for TicketSales on Google, but I couldn't. All of their good reviews seemed fake, and I couldn't leave a review at all. So I decided to leave a review everywhere I could. I want people to know that TicketSales is a scam. In the 24 hours since this incident, I have learned my lesson. I will always buy tickets directly from the venue or wherever the venue has linked on their website. I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through. Do not trust TicketSales.
Fraudulent Ticket Sales Company: Tickets on Sale Review
I just bought some tickets from TicketSales (ticketsales.com) and it was a total disaster. I got four tickets for $320 and everything seemed fine at first. I received the tickets through my Ticketmaster account the next day. But then, two days before the event, I checked my account and saw that the tickets were voided. I contacted Ticketmaster and they told me that the seller had requested a refund. I couldn't believe it! How could the tickets I had already received be voided? I contacted the seller, Tickets on Sale, and spoke with Fernando. He said they would try to resend the tickets, but he wasn't sure if they could because they had already been sent. He told me to contact them if I didn't get the tickets by noon the day of the event and they would refund my card the full amount.
I called back the day before the event and spoke with Joy. She was nice and asked me to screenshot what I was seeing on my Ticketmaster account and email it to them. I did that while we were on the phone and she said they received the email and would contact the seller and resend the tickets to a different email account. She told me to call back if I hadn't received the tickets by 8am the day of the event. I still hadn't received the tickets and called at 8am and spoke with Joe. He was really rude and told me there was nothing he or I could do. He said I could receive the tickets as late as 1-2 hours before the event. That was ridiculous! I called back right away and spoke with Trish. We talked for 42 minutes and she said the seller provided proof of transfer of tickets and there was an issue on Ticketmaster's end. She told me to contact Ticketmaster again.
I called Ticketmaster for the third time and they told me the event was on my profile but there was a zero balance and zero tickets. They told me to contact the seller directly. I called Tickets on Sale again and spoke with David. I told him I needed to speak with management to resolve my problem. He said management doesn't take phone calls, but he was on the customer service escalation team and would look into my situation. After being on hold for 15 minutes, he hung up on me! I called back and spoke with Lewis. He was more helpful and said he would speak to management directly about the issue. After several long holds, he told me there was nothing he could do.
I asked him why they had a 100% buyer guarantee if they don't honor it. I asked why Fernando told me I would be issued a refund if I didn't receive my tickets before the event if that's not their policy. He apologized and said that was their policy. Since the tickets were initially received and the seller provided proof of transfer, even though the tickets were voided and inaccessible, there was nothing he could do.
Don't buy tickets from this company! They will leave you running in circles trying to get your tickets. I'm out $320 and can't go to the event that was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my dad. Save yourself the time, money, and headache and buy directly from Ticketmaster. This company is fraudulent.
They act like they are the site that you want to go to but are a 3rd party. Will not let me return the tickets right after I realized the mistake.

Stay Away from TicketSales.com: Shady Practices and No Customer Support
I usually don't mess with 3rd party sites, but I got stuck with TicketSales.com and it was a hot mess. I ended up paying double what I should have for my tickets. And then, when I got to the venue, they wouldn't let me in because the tickets had someone else's name on them. I was so mad! I called their customer service line and had to wait on hold for like 20 minutes. They didn't do anything to help me, just said they'd "look into it" and gave me a half-hearted apology. No refund, no nothing. I missed the first act and was so bummed out.
I tried to follow up with them a few days later, but they wouldn't let me talk to anyone who could actually help me. All I got was the same old story from their customer service team. They were no help at all. It's like they don't care that they sold me tickets from someone who wasn't even the real owner. It's shady and messed up.
I'm still trying to get my money back, but it's like pulling teeth. They won't give me a refund and they won't let me talk to anyone who can actually help me. It's so frustrating! I wish I had just bought my tickets directly from the venue. Don't make the same mistake I did. Stay away from TicketSales.com!
Request for ADA Accessible Seating and Affordable Tickets for Elton John's Last Tour
I've been trying to get some help with ADA tickets from TicketSales since early this morning, but I haven't received any response yet. I'm disabled and I've been waiting for years to see Elton John, my favorite musician, on his last tour. I don't want to miss this opportunity, but I can't afford the regular tickets and I need ADA Accessible Seating. I've left my name and phone number four times already, but no one has called me back.
I'm on disability and I don't have much income, so it will take me a year to save enough money to pay for the tickets. I'm permanently disabled for over 20 years and my life is very hard on a daily basis. Going to this concert would mean the world to me and I should be able to enjoy one thing in my life. I haven't even been on a vacation since 2002, when I visited my uncle in Illinois who was dying. It was so important to him and me that I got there in time to see him before he passed away.
I'm hoping that TicketSales can help me with ADA Accessible Seating and less expensive tickets. I would appreciate any help you can give me to make my dream come true. Thank you for your assistance with this request. My name is Christine Rogers and my phone number is ***285.
Frustrating Experience with Ticket Sales Customer Service - Order #*******
My event is in just two days, on January 6th, and I am feeling pretty stressed out. I ordered my tickets way back in October, and I thought everything was all set. But when I clicked on the link to access my tickets on January 1st, I ran into a lot of problems. I tried using multiple browsers, both on my phone and my laptop, but nothing seemed to work. After several attempts, I finally decided to contact customer service for help.
At first, the customer service representative I spoke with told me to try everything all over again. But when that didn't work, they said they would send me a new link and to try again tomorrow. I did everything all over again, but still, the link wouldn't work. I was starting to get really frustrated. Then, on Monday, I spoke with another customer service rep who told me that I hadn't "exhausted all of my efforts" yet and that I needed to be patient and wait until it got closer to the venue.
The next day, I chatted with yet another customer service rep who seemed really helpful. She suggested that we try using a new email address, which didn't really make sense to me, but I was willing to try anything at that point. Unfortunately, I still didn't receive a new link. She then told me that it could take a couple of days to "convince the seller to reissue the tickets," but she assured me that I didn't need to worry because they guaranteed my tickets.
Today is Wednesday, and I still don't have my tickets. I spoke with a third customer service rep who told me to be patient and that the tickets might not arrive until right before the show starts. I was really upset when they told me that they couldn't guarantee my tickets, especially since I had paid for them over two months ago. The show is sold out, and I'm starting to worry that I won't be able to get in.
I noticed that the TicketSales team asks everyone for their order number, so here's mine: Order# ***.
Overall, I'm feeling pretty frustrated with the whole experience. I understand that things can go wrong, but I wish that the customer service reps had been more helpful and reassuring. I hope that I'll be able to get my tickets soon and that everything will work out in the end.

TicketSales Review: Disappointing Experience with VIP Parking Pass for Dave Matthews Band Concert
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with TicketSales. I was trying to get a VIP parking pass for a Dave Matthews Band concert at Jones Beach, and I ended up spending over $115 for it. But when they sent me an email with a link to accept the pass on Ticket Master, nothing happened when I clicked it. I even talked to Ticket Master and they said there was nothing on my account to accept. And get this - apparently parking passes aren't even supposed to be transferrable! So what was I even paying for?
Anyway, TicketSales sent me another link, but when I clicked on it, I got a message saying the offer had expired or been withdrawn. Like, what the heck? I paid for the pass, and I didn't even get a refund on my credit card. And there were still days left before the concert, so how could it have expired already?
I tried to get in touch with customer service to sort things out, but they just kept telling me to accept the pass on Ticket Master, even though I kept telling them there was nothing there to accept. And then, out of nowhere, they just stopped responding to my emails. But now they keep emailing me with these "special offers" for other events. Like, are you kidding me? You can't even give me the thing I paid for, but you expect me to buy more stuff from you?
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend TicketSales to anyone. They're just trying to keep my money without actually delivering the product I paid for. It's pretty messed up if you ask me. So if you're thinking about using them, I'd say avoid them at all costs.
TicketSales.com: A Warning to All Concertgoers - Stay Far Away from This Site!
So, I was browsing TicketSales.com and found the concert tickets I was looking for at a sweet price of $35. I didn't end up buying them right away, but three days later, I went back to the site and saw the price had jumped up to $115 for three tickets. I clicked on the "I agree" button on the next page, and in the little disclaimer, I saw the price was actually $324.84! I was so shocked that I accidentally clicked on the submit button (I was using my phone and almost dropped it). I immediately contacted their chat support to get a refund, but they said they couldn't do that. I then called them and asked to speak with a manager, but they also said no refunds were possible.
Now, I know I clicked on the button, so it's my problem, but come on! The tickets are available on two other sites for $52.50 CDN each, and there are tons of them! I understand scalping, but how can they charge such high fees when there are still plenty of tickets available? Who in their right mind would willingly click on that button? When I spoke with the guy on the phone, he told me the ticket price was $82.50 each, plus $7 for delivery, and a whopping $71 for a service charge! $71 for emailing me tickets? I can pay only $10 for a service charge on Ticketmaster.ca. How is this company still in business? Honestly, take my advice and stay far away from them. My final cost was $417 CDN, which should have been $180 (and still can be for many of you). It's daylight robbery!
Fraud Alert: My Terrible Experience with Ticketsales.com
My experience with Ticketsales.com was absolutely terrible. I was redirected to their website from Ticketmaster, and I thought I was buying from a reputable company. However, I ended up with this broker, and I still don't know how it happened! I spent almost $500 on multiple tickets to a concert, but I never received them despite trying multiple times. I spent approximately two-and-a-half hours on the phone with representatives of this so-called company, who kept giving me the "good news" that my tickets were allegedly being transferred to me. They directed me to various websites and apps where I could receive them, and even had me set up extra accounts with alternate email addresses. However, I could never receive the tickets, and it was a frustrating experience.
Finally, when I asked for a full refund, I was told that their TOS put the onus on me, and I would not receive a dime! I was shocked and felt cheated. I have a word for that, and it's called FRAUD. I was so angry that I opened a case with the Better Business Bureau and simultaneously with my credit card company. It was only then that I received a full refund and an apology within a week's time. However, it doesn't do much to help me as I have multiple disappointed would-be concert attendees to deal with, and a LOT of bad feelings towards this company.
I will never, ever do business with Ticketsales.com again. If I could leave zero stars, I would. It was a terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. It's important to be careful when buying tickets online and to make sure you're dealing with a reputable company. Don't make the same mistake I did!
TicketSales.com Review: A Total Scam - False Promises and Poor Customer Service
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with TicketSales. I was super excited to see a show in February 2022, so I bought my tickets from them in December 2021. But then, on February 2, I got an email saying the show had been rescheduled to May 26. Bummer, but I figured it was no big deal. The email said my tickets would be delivered two weeks before the show, so I just waited patiently.
But then, on May 2, I got another email saying the tickets wouldn't be delivered until two days before the show. Okay, fine, I can deal with that. But then I got three more emails saying the delivery was delayed even further. I was starting to get a little worried, but I figured they knew what they were doing.
Fast forward to May 26, the day of the show. I still hadn't received my tickets, so I contacted TicketSales to see what was up. They told me I'd get my tickets at least two hours before the show, so I waited. And waited. And waited some more. Finally, 30 minutes after the show started, I contacted them again because I STILL didn't have any tickets. That's when they dropped the bombshell on me: the show had been cancelled.
I was pretty upset, as you can imagine. They tried to offer me store credit, but I wasn't having it. I insisted on a full refund, and after some back and forth, they eventually agreed. But they wouldn't give me any idea of when I could expect to see my money back.
Out of curiosity, I looked up when the show was cancelled. And get this: it was cancelled on February 26, 2022. That's TWO MONTHS before they even told me about the rescheduling. I felt like they had been leading me on this whole time, and it really rubbed me the wrong way.
In the end, I had to call Visa and dispute the charge. I wasn't sure if I'd ever see my money again, but Visa processed the dispute right away. I'm just glad I got my money back.
All in all, I'd say TicketSales.com is a total scam. They kept me in the dark about the cancellation, and they held onto my money under false pretenses. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
TicketSales: A Nightmare Experience for "Frozen" Tickets - Our Review
Our experience with TicketSales was a complete disaster. We had planned to surprise our kids with tickets to see "Frozen" 10 months in advance, as a special Christmas gift. However, the week of the event, we still hadn't received our tickets. My husband spent hours on the phone with their customer service team, but the wait times were incredibly long and it was difficult to get through to anyone. When we finally did speak to someone, they simply told us to check our email for updates. Unfortunately, we never received any emails from them.
After several frustrating live chats with their team, we were told the day before the event that there was nothing they could do to help us. My husband was persistent and managed to get in touch with a helpful representative who promised to cancel the barcode on our original tickets and issue us new ones that we could pick up at the Eccles theater. We were relieved and grateful for her assistance, and she assured us that we would have our tickets in time for the show.
However, late the night before the event, we received an email from TicketSales that shattered our hopes. They informed us that they were unable to issue us new tickets and that we were out of luck. Our children were devastated, and we were left feeling angry and disappointed.
We had done everything right by ordering our tickets so far in advance, but TicketSales failed to deliver on their promises. They waited until the last minute to send our tickets, and when they were lost in the mail (or so they claimed), they refused to take responsibility or offer any real solutions.
Overall, our experience with TicketSales was a huge letdown. We would not recommend this company to anyone, and we will never use their services again. It's a shame that such a simple thing as ordering tickets for a show could turn into such a nightmare.
Terrible User Experience: Overpriced Tickets and Poor Customer Service
This company is just terrible, I had such a bad experience with them. First of all, the prices they show are just plain wrong. They say "starting from $30" but then when you go to buy the tickets, they're actually $96 each! And you can't even see where the seats are. The text is so small that it's impossible to read, and they don't even tell you about the fees until after you've already bought the tickets. And then they don't even confirm the total price! It's just a terrible user experience.
When I finally saw the total price, I was shocked. I tried to cancel the purchase, but they just gave me a robotic response saying there was nothing they could do. It was such a disappointment. And to make matters worse, they sent me 3-4 emails with different instructions instead of just consolidating everything into one email. It was such a headache!
I would never recommend this site to anyone. They charge way too much for tickets that are actually way cheaper on other sites. It's a total scam. I feel like I got ripped off and there's no way to get a refund. This company has no customer service skills whatsoever. I will never buy tickets from them again. If I could give them zero stars, I would. So be careful and don't use this site.
Buyer Beware: My Terrible Experience with Ticketsales.com
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with ticketsales.com this week. I was looking for tickets to an upcoming show and the first website that popped up was ticketsales.com. I didn't realize at the time that it wasn't the official website for the venue's ticket sales. Silly me, right?
So I went ahead and bought the tickets, but then I got an email saying that they wouldn't be sent to me until a week before the event. I mean, come on, it's four months away! That seemed pretty ridiculous to me. And then I found out that ticketsales.com is actually a third-party seller, meaning they don't actually own the tickets themselves. They just list tickets that other people have bought and are trying to sell.
Well, imagine my surprise when I went to the venue's website and found the exact same tickets I had just bought on ticketsales.com for a much lower price. And they were available for purchase right then and there! So I'm pretty sure that nobody actually owns the tickets I bought, and I'll never actually receive them.
I tried to contact ticketsales.com's support team to see what was going on, but they just kept insisting that everything was legit and that I'd get my tickets when the seller had them. But I don't think that's ever going to happen. So I went ahead and bought tickets directly from the venue's website and got them in my email within hours. So clearly, anyone who's trying to resell tickets for this show doesn't need to wait until a week before the event to send them out.
Honestly, I don't think I'll ever see my money again. But I'm definitely going to dispute the charge with my credit card company and hope for the best. It's just a shame that there are websites out there like ticketsales.com that take advantage of people like me who don't know any better.
