donut
Today I went to Tim Hortons on Jasper and 101 ave in Edmonton. I ordered 2 boston cream donuts and french vanilla coffee. I planned to eat my donuts at home, so when I get home and eat my donuts they were not Boston cream. The reason I am complaining is because I am charged a speciality price for the Boston cream which is 1.19 and not get a Boston cream. Unfortunately I don't have a receipt but I did purchase with a gift card. This is not the first time that this store has screwed up my order. thank you
service at coppersmith tim hortons
Regularly I order a BLT with no mayo on my way into work. Over half the time I get a sandwich covered in mayo. I then have to spend my lunch break going to exchange it, leaving me no time to eat.
My complaint is that the people making the order does not bother to read the entire order screen.
Half the time I end up just throwing the sandwich away because I don't have the time to deal with their incompetence.
attitude of employees
I know the feeling regarding attitude. I am in Northern Ontario, Canada, and the "attitude" (or lack thereof), of the TH employees here seems to be Take what you get and pay what we tell you to pay. If you don't like it, tough, take it and shut your mouth.
I was sharing a lousy food experience from a previous visit with the girl serving me. I joked that at least they had the food I had ordered last time and told her about what happened. I was simply sharing it, not submitting a complaint. Then a girl at the sandwich counter started inquiring about our conversation. The server told her it was nothing and that I was simply telling her about a missing menu items experience. The sandwich girl insisted on knowing what was missing and upon being told, began berating me regarding how it was out of their control. I tried to say it really was not her affair, but since she insisted on becoming involved in what had started out as a conversation not concerning her, it quickly turned into the incident I described below.
I told an employee today to "Mind her own business." When she didn't, I raised my voice, repeated the statement and had to do it again because of her sticking her nose where it had not been invited, but this time I raised my voice louder and added, "Shut your mouth." I walked away with my order, sat down, and had to endure several employees convincing each other that I was "guilty of verbal assault". They had been told by myself that it was all on camera and they could talk to the manager if they wanted, yet not once did a manager come forward, nor was afforded the right by any of them to even talk to a manager.
Yes, I was loud, but if saying what I did makes me guilty of verbal assault, then they are guilty of harassment and negligence.
The sad truth is that customers are no longer "right" regardless the situation, they are "tolerated".
I have put in a call to head office for the manager of this franchise to contact me. Yes I raised my voice. Yes I was a little rude. But YES, I am tired of being treated like "just another dollar" by some of the employees at this location.
Since it is a small community, I won't say exactly where it is, but I will say I am north of North Bay, Ontario, Canada.
Customer service? The definition these days should be, "since I'm the customer, what can I do to service them."
counter service
What I saw today at the Tim Hortons in Bonnyville was deplorable. If it had happened to me I would have gone straight to a lawyer. While I was waiting for my order to be prepared a kindly older gentleman placed an order at the counter for a coffee and a sausage and egg sandwich. The sandwich came up rather quickly however the drive thru started to get busy and the service obviously switch to your more important customers. I watched as 5 coffees of the exact make and size went out the window while this gentleman waited to receive his. Watching all the time, I could see his frustration at being the second class person in your store. When the coffee was finally made and put before him the top wasn't secured and it spilled all up his arm, onto his cloths and all over the floor. For a minute there, the server and all of us stared at each other. Not so much as a I'm sorry or Can I get a cloth nothing from your employee. Just a look of annoyance that this old man couldn't handle having a half prepared coffee thrown his way after waiting a good 5 mins for his coffee as the more important customers where served. Frustrated he just left, got into his car, cleaned himself up as best he could and drove off. Good work Timmys, I will never set foot in another of your stores again unless you are absolutely the last option on the road. To treat any customer that way is horrible, but an older gentleman, come on guys.
service
I went through drive thru in Listowel which has two lanes and the second lane is never open so I waited ten minutes to get to speaker placed my order turkey club on whole wheat with no tomatoes.. She was rude at the window told me to hurry with my money and also dropped some of my change then told me to get it off the ground they were not allowed to touch it... My sandwich had tomatoes on white plus had which looked like a half bottle of mayo on it! I went back thru and asked for a new sandwich she said where did I get it I said I was just through this drive thru she said no you were not and closed the window told me to go away I went inside asked for a manager she said they are gone for the night I asked to speak with a supervisor she said on break go away or I will call the cops! Very disappointed with the kind of service I got.. I live in this town and the owners own both of the stores in this town and they don't care about there customers at all this is not the first time I have had very poor service from this place! I will be telling my friends and family not to go there!
banana bread and customer service
I arrive to the drive-through at 13 and Gratiot I was not happy with the banana bread I ordered it was stale and hard and when I was paying for my order to the drive-through one of the co-workers were sitting on the counter which I thought was very unprofessional on her phone. To this Tim Hortons all the time are usually come. Of course everybody likes Fresh Bakery or just fresh stuff. But the bread was totally seemed outdated and staled was very unsatisfied
all 3 tim hortons in strathroy, ontario
You obviously have a severe training issue with all 3 tim hortons in strathroy, ont.
They can either not read or just don't care about what you order. I order an ice cap, a medium coffee with milk & sugar, a medium coffee with one milk and they ask me if the order is correct on the screen I say yes but that doesn't seem to matter because they can't read my ice cap comes made with milk and my coffees are made with cream! Yesterday I went in and ordered a chicken noodle soup, a vegetable soup, and a large ice cap oh and low and behold I get 2 vegetable soups and an ice cap made with milk! This happens 5 times a week so 5 times out of 7 days unreal! A couple of years ago I actually called the franchise owner and complained and he actually said "if you don't like it go else where" well now I am going to take his advice. I'm sure mc donalds will appreciate my $30.00 a day purchases.
A very unhappy ex customer!
in store matter
I walked into a Tim Hortons in Somerville New Jersey about two weeks ago or so and it was on national free donut day and they decided to tell me that they chose not to participate in the free donut give away which was very upsetting to me and I had children with me who were very devastated. I also saw online that the same day the had a chance to win free donuts or tim bits for a year by giving the special word. So I asked one of them I heard they are also doing free donuts or tim bits for a year if you give the word and one employee said no it was on for the morning but it never stated online it was for the morning it stated the first person to say it wins. so when I asked if anyone had told them one man said I don't know I wasn't here in the morning and another man looked at me strangely. This was such absurd service that I have ever received at a Tim Hortons before. I think that this is completely unfair and that I should be getting free donuts for a year. clearly, they do not know what is going on with contests and that the owner or manager of that location is really inconsiderate with deciding they don't want to participate which is very upsetting that they would do such a thing.
service and respect and day old products
Tim Hortons at 590 Baseline Rd Unit 240, Sherwood Park, AB T8H 1Y4.
Today, June 10, 2018 ant 11:30 A.M. I received my order at the Tim Hortons mentioned above.
Ordered a medium dark roast coffee and a Apple Fritter. Coffee was great. As the fritter was brought to the window it was dropped on the floor, albeit in a bag. After picking up the bag the hostess paused for a second and then re sealed the bag and handed it to me. I asked for a new fritter. She handled it to the crew working with her and they went around the corner with the bag and came back with the same bag, same wrinkles in the bag, unbelievable.
I thought this can only get worse, took the fritter and left. The fritter was stale and hard, not close to being fresh. It did get worse.
The experience was terrible. Crew shows now respect for the customer and your product lacks the freshness one is used to.
Guess I will have to shop somewhere else perhaps.

general manager and assistant manager
Both the GM and AM stood smoking on our business property next door. When confronted, the GM and AM both refused to pick up their cigarette butts off of our property stating that no one was at the store to clean them up. Their your butts, and you cant pick them up yourselves? The GM refused to pick up his cigarette butt off of our property after I had asked him to, and proceeded to pull the door shut in my face saying he was busy. What kind of management is this place hiring?
unethical behavior
date Jun 9, 2018 around 7:30 pm at drive thru swift current high way store 1930. So I ordered 1 extra large double double, wedges with ranch and salted caramel ice cappuccino .
so when I got my salted caramel ice capp I thought there's a salt, so I asked the crew that there's no salt toppings ( I expected there's a salt toppings like in other coffee shop) . My tone is very polite but unfortunately the guy crew answered me a very rude tone . He seems it's stupid question plus his eyes rolled up. while he's saying " there's no salt it's blended ", that makes me so upset the way his behavior towards me.
First of all that product is very new at your store . Second I don't deserve to be disrespected because I just asked a simple and polite question.
This is totally a bad experienced for me .
I appriciate your prompt action on this matter .
Thank you .
manager and employees
i Don't think it's very professional to treating Customers and other employees like garbage! The Tim Hortans in arcade NY is way beyond ridiculous! I will never bring my children into there anymore! Some employees are so high on drugs, it's Quite frightening for them to be be a around hot things, some of the employees when I'm in there, treat each other like garbage! The way they talk to each other is unprofessional and shouldn't be talked in place like that! Especially the Manager the Mariah!
customer service
I was a frequent customer of Tim Hortons. I recently had an experience at the store at 340 Front Street in Toronto (corner of Front & Blue Jays Way) that has caused the end of going to any of their restaurants. I originally ordered a sausage breakfast sandwich combo with sausage on the side and a second breakfast sandwich with sausage on the side. They short changed my order by not providing my one of my breakfast sandwich. I complained and the customer service was rude and unprofessional. After not being contacted back for over a week, I called back. Finally Melissa, the manager of this store contacted me and we came to a resolution of a refund and a free sandwich. When I went to the store to get my sandwich they gave me a sausage breakfast sandwich with the sausage on the sandwich. I'm a vegetarian. I always ask for sausage on the side. I feed the sausage to my dog who loves it. I mentioned 4 times that the sausage is on the side when I ordered. When I told them it was wrong they refused to replace it and were extremely rude and said I should eat the sausage sandwich. I contacted Melissa again and she refused to make this right. I contacted customer service again and they said they will have the District Manager contact me. I was never contacted. I called back a week later and they refuse to have anyone contact me and provide what I paid for.
At this point Tim Hortons has stolen from me, suggested a vegetarian eats their meat and provided one of the worst customer service experiences I've encountered. Now they've shut down all contact so I won't be made whole on my order. I've spent too much time dealing with and their poor process and not received any offers for further compensation for this offensive and criminal activity. In my opinion, Tim Hortons is a crooked organization that steals and does not respect their customers dietary restrictions.
the whole company
This is by far the worst tim hortons I have ever been to before. None of the employees care about their jobs, they are all very rude. None of the machines EVER work. I mean that. Majority of the times they are out of all of the food. They never have change, the lines are ridiculously long because they would rather chat than do their jobs. Everytime i go here its an issue with them and i come here almost everyday. Not ONCE do they make my order correctly, or have the things to make my order correctly. I have sent my attention to this official complaint board in hopes something will actually get done about this. I go to tim hortons very often and to go to this one puts a shame on all of tim hortons. I dont even appreciate going to any of the locations anymore because of how bad this one makes the company look. It would be amazing if something can get done about this location so i can enjoy a cup of coffee and breakfast before work FOR ONCE and not have to deal with every single rude employee that they have hired over the past 2 years. I can run a place better then them and i have no experience in management.
staff members
Tim Hortons location - 196 Cedar st Sudbury Ontario.
I was in the drive through and heard your staff talk rudely to the lady in front of me over the speaker box. Then when at the window the employee yelled at her [censored] you. Several times very unprofessional. I was not impressed to hear such language in the drive through your location has enough problems with the people who hang out there never mind your employees acting in this manure
Shyan was the lady on the speaker
Gentlemen would not provide name
I will not be using this location again.in the past I did not judge the business baised on the people that visit there but your employees acting like that makes me uncomfortable and I will get my coffee else where!
I worked several years in the service industry and never experienced that! They should be fired!
camp day date
I firmly believe that camp day is a wonderful event that provides children with the experience of a lifetime and I commend Tim Hortons for the increasing efforts to raise funds for this wonderful opportunity. However, I have an issue with the date .On more than one occassion camp day has fallen on June 6 th. To many of us of a certain generation June 6th is ingrained in our minds as D-Day on which the allied forces in the Second World War stormed the beaches of Normandy France in 1944 to invade occupied Europe. Thousands of allied forces including thousands of Canadians were injured or killed. I believe that June 6th should be held sacred to the memory of those that lost their lives for our freedom and Camp Day should respectfully fall on a different day.
Donna White
disrespectful employee
Hello.
I'm absolutely appalled by this employee's social media post regarding camp day for children. Tim Horton's does good for our community with the camp day fundraiser, and to see a post like this from an employee from my location is disgusting, and nothing is done about it. It's not right and someone that feels this way should not be working there !
Thank you for your time in reading this.
selling coffee for camp day
The radio advertisement for "camp day" was drink coffee coffee coffee.. When ordering 1 coffee order a few for the office... What about mocha's, teas, hot chocolate? Not good for camp day? Tim horton's coffee has msg, which is why some people don't drink the coffee! I like honey-lemon tea at tim hortons, if it doesn't support camp day... Which support tim hortons camp day?
customer service
On June 4 2018 @ about 8:15 a.m. i had was waiting for the completion of an order I had placed, ( Iced Capp, Timbits, and a Bagel) I'd received everything at that point except for the Bagel which i was told very nicely was being make by someone who appeared to be a manager... It took over 10 minutes for them to complete my order, the only person that was helpful and polite and extremely helpful was the person that took my order. The person that appeared to be the manager was rude. She did not acknowledge the customer standing waiting in front of her, neither did the male employee she was talking and joking with. It was to the point that other customers started to take notice, and once they realized i was still waiting, i was laughed at, and ANOTHER employee was nice enough to go up and completed my order, AND she was nice enough to apologize for it. By the time i received everything i ordered, it had been at least 20 minutes, AFTER my order was placed. I enjoy Tim Horton, usually, but in all honesty i felt humiliated being laughed at my the staff at this location and even though its just down the street from me, I'm considering driving the 2-3 miles to the next one IF i decide to go to this chain again which truly is sad because its my favorite chain.
product and the service
I have an weird experience today at the Tim Horton's on June 3rd and time around 8:30pm. The flies are moving around the food on the muffins and around food products and I feel it's not safe to buy but already my friend had ordered already and I kept silent and take a pic of that and we had thrown out the food we had purchased. That's a very bad experience for us.As the reputation of Tim's gets down with this incident
