payment and attitude
I went to Tim Hortons in Jamestown, NY on North Main St. around 9:50 am on 5/12/18. I went through the drive through, I ordered a medium French Vanilla ice cap and a regular bagel toasted with butter and cream cheese. I pulled up to the window gave the lady a twenty. I know that my items came to $5. and change. Now this is also my fault because i was on the phone, however, she did not give me back my change nor did she give me a receipt. Me being on the phone did not realize until later in the afternoon. I called the restaurant, and whoever answered the phone was very rude to me. Asking if I had a receipt, Now if i didn't receive my change how was i to have a receipt. She did not ask for my name of number, Just straight out told me she could not help me. I have been in customer service since I was 15 years old, I do know that you at least ask you customers name an phone know, and count the drawer to see if it is off. I was always taught the customer is always right, and to treat them with respect. If i was that persons manager she defiantly would have been talked to.
What the hell are you talking about
unprofessional behavior by barista
Hello,
Yesterday (May 12, 2018) I placed an order at Tim Horton's at Trimble and 10th in Vancouver at around 6:10pm. The order was as follows:
1) 3 timbits
2) Two medium iced coffee with single cream and one with 2 sugars and the other with no sugar.
At first the barista gave me two iced coffees with no cream and one with 2 sugars and the other with 1 sugar. She then gave me a cream pod to put into the one with 2 sugars and then remade the one that needed to be without sugar. Please check the photograph below. It has so much cream and when I held the two iced coffees together and asked does it look like they both have the same amount of cream she said, yes and then rolled her eyes and walked away.
We're all human and can make mistakes, my issue is not with the mistake. My complaint is how she kept being unprofessional and sarcastic when it was her who got the order wrong twice. It seemed like she was giving me something for free and I was being a nuisance.
cream of leek soup
Around 6pm on Saturday 12th 2018 I went through the drive thru at 525 welland Ave st. catharines to purchase a cream of leak soup combo. I continued on and ate it after. Half way through eating my soup I chomped down on a broken price of rock of some sort. It chipped a tooth and cut my gum. I immediately spit it out and inspected it and found out it was a rock. I called and complained to the store and asked to speak to someone and I got a supervisor who said she would speak to the manager and she was willing to give me a free soup? She took my name and not my number. I'm very angry that this has happened to me and great full I did not feed my children this who always eat what I eat. If the Manger of the store or nobody takes me seriously I will have to contact for legal advice as it was Un believable that the supervisor didon't know what to do. I have kept the rock and the rest of the soup and the bag. I was hoping someone from head office could contact me on this matter. My name is Cyndee Brazier and my number is [protected]
Service
I've had to experience some the most rude, ignorant behaviour from an employee at the tim hortons location here in bay roberts located on lt. Stick drive just off the conception bay highway - it's actually attached to the shell gas station at 11:30 am
Saturday may 12th, 2018
At the drive thru I ordered my kids a strawberry smoothie and asked for yogurt and she asked if I wanted extra yogurt I sad no just a smoothie with yogurt... She then started to literally lecture me over the intercom about the difference in smoothies and how to order — I actually stopped her and said ok I just want a smoothie with yogurt and i'd like finish my order — she kept on lecturing me!
- when she finished her lecture — I said ok I would like 2 four cheese bagels one with cream cheese the other butter and before I could say anything else she cut me off and rudely said toasted?
I said yes - but I said to myself ok fine —
Then she proceeded to again lecture me that when ordering I have to specify toasted or not and she literally went on a rant about properly ordering and how orders go wrong especially when people don't specify! — so I got abrupt and said — look just stop and can I finish my order and I said it rudely -
If that wasnt enough — she says i'm cancelling your order for swearing at me!
Huh!
For one thing I did not swear at her!
Actually I was doing my best not to cause I knew it wouldn't help plus my children were in the truck with me!
I did not swear at her!
So fine drove up to the window and I asked the girl at the window if she was the girl who I was speaking with — she said no I just came from the back — ok another girl came up handed me the drinks I asked her for the girls name -/ and she says oh I just came from the back — I asked the guy who handed me my bagels and he said the same!
Seriously!
So no one was out in front - obviously trying to cover for that rude girl — so I said i'm not leaving this window without her name then one lady finally said her name was valerie I said ok and left!
But i'm sooooo over this location and I know i've had 2 other occasions of really bad service - once in store when an employee (an older lady with glasses) yelled and insulted my kids who were 11 and 12 at the time in front on me and my kids good kids!
I've heard others speak about this one location and it's surprising to me that one spot — this one spot here in our little town can be so awful!
And it's not getting better!
But i'm done with this location and the from my handful of visits to this location i've had 3 awful experiences which includes today - but like I said i'm done but I do expect tim hortons to do something about this location it's disgusting
steeped tea
I always order my steeped tea with 1 and a half milk. Alot of the times they give me coffee. Tonight I wanted to try out the new location on 97th ST and 137th Ave in Edmonton. I asked the cashier to put more milk in cause it didn't look right when she brought it back it still didn't look right. I smelled it at that point and noticed it was coffee. I said this is wrong I ordered steeped tea. She brought it back. Still wasn't right. Seemed like not enough milk but at this point I was annoyed. The cashier wasn't very pleasant. So I just took it as it was tea after All.
not served bread with soup, told they hadn't baked it yet (11:30 a.m.!!!)
I ordered soup and was surprised there was no bread in the bag but it was FILLED with crackers. When I asked why no bread, she said they hadn't baked it yet! It was lunch time, 11:30 a.m. on a weekday. And she didn't mention it to me when I ordered or received my soup. So you just don't give the customer their whole order? That's not okay. I paid for it.
Also, I ordered an iced tea with extra ice, but there was hardly any ice and it was warm! So I asked for an extra glass of ice.
AND the last time I went to Tim Horton's the same drive thru worker said she hates the customers AS I WAS EXITING the drive thru with my food! All I asked her was what kind of soups they had and the price of a large iced tea. I guess that makes me a bad customer?
She should be fired.
my steep tea half milk 2 sugar
1060 finch avenue west north york Ontario m3j 2e2 at this location I buy my tea and my breakfast everyday between 6 am to 6:15 am. Since last week the lady that takes order from the microphone she forgot to add sugar few times last week and I asked her is there sugar inside she said no I said I ordered with half milk 2 sugar and she said that to me next time order properly sir ... and made a new one and I took my order and today may 10 2018 around same time between 6:00 am to 6:20 check the camera if you guys have acces I have black truck ford they did my order wrong and I told her to add sugar she gave me attitude and said samething next time order properly sir... and I said I ordered it right at first you guys forgot to add it and I said you know what I been coming here everyday almost everyday you guys don't even say good morning you guys don't even smile plus giving me a attitude with your mistake I got mad and left this is not the way to run a employee at work Tim Horton
choice of whipped cream
My grandma and I always love going to Tim Horton on a hot summer day or after school to get a frozen hot chocolate. We always loved the chocolate whipped cream. When you got rid of it we didn't really think the drink was as good as it was with chocolate whipped cream and didn't get the drink as much. We would like you to bring back the chocolate whipped cream even if it'll be a slight upcharge to put it on a drink, we are okay with that.
delivery trucks running for 3-4 hours outside of our home
The residents who are West facing in One Bedford (Corner of Bloor and Bedford Rd, Toronto) are continually woken at early hours to a Tim Horton's delivery truck running on high idle / or with the coolant system running. The truck often arrives before 6 am and does not leave until 9 am. The noise is unacceptable. We addressed this months ago and the truck was silent for several months. For some reason the noise and duration of delivery are once again a problem. Please address. Thank you.
unethical behavior, wrong order
Upon receiving my order, the staff at the window was unfriendly upon informing them we do not speak french. After I got my latte, I arrive at work to taste water in it; absolutely disgusting. I call them, and request to speak to the manager to voice my concern and make them aware of what's happened as I am a regular customer there. She answers the phone, once I advise her what has happened she starts to argue with me, and becomes very rude telling me a latte has milk not water and there is no way. I offered to take it back, and she taste it then, and she continued to argue with me. Very unprofessional, and is not in the place to be a manager if that is how she handles with customers. I said are you a manager? I am just letting you know, and telling you as a customer. She yelled back at me she was, and she made the coffee. Never in my life, have I received such service, nor have I heard of anyone else I know receiving such.

attitude problem with the staff
Yesterday evening went to have a coffee with Tim hortons al Naeem mall Ras Al Khaimah branch. I ordered the cafe late and received cappacino and try to asked the counter staff and he is explaining such a rudely way this is cafe late only not cappacino if you want have otherwise don't waste our time.I am totally disappointed the way he replied and this brand is one of my favorite place and this kind attitude person in the store the image of store and brand will get spoil.
#7 breakfast combo @ 8:35 am (mon may 7, 2018)
I came to my office early this morning to find that my breakfast combo is missing the hash brown inside. I was patiently waiting at the store for my order and I was in no rush even if it took time for order to made properly, I was completely okay with. I understand that Tim Horton's attempts to promote high quality service at a fast-pace to maintain its customer base, however why are the employees rushing. Please advise that I do not require a refund or anything, but I want to ensure this is being addressed appropriately so a similar incident does not occur in the future.
accessibility/customer service.
Hello,
Friday Evening May 4th, 2018. I headed towards my local tims in Milton Ontario (Derry road And Bronte Inters) to get my regular order. After spending over half an hour in the drive thru line, I was unable to place my Order at the drive thru screen because of unavailibity of the system, when I got all the way up to the drive thru person, they told me they were only taking cash very abruptly and because I didn't have that. I had to come in and wait in line again. After further waiting 20 minutes inside I was greeted with a Subpar employee who had no interest in taking my order. My coffees tasted burned (as they could have been old). As an ex employee of Tim Hortons my self (worked at Steele's Avenue with Don and Penny 8 years ago) I know how high the standard is and was set pertaining to customer service. Not only was my time wasted but the store was incredibly unapologetic and showed no empathy. This experience truly is disheartening and it leaves me with an incredibly bad taste for the company. I hope you understand.
Best,
Ahad Gillani

I didn't receive my whole order
This morning I went into the drive-thru of Tim Hortons and a lady was very pleasant at first and then she got very ignorant her body language her attitude glaring at me she said something along the lines as I took a program for granted and I was abusing the system whatever that means. But in the end when we received our order we were missing one coffee what we ordered was a medium steep tea a small double double and a sour cream glazed donut. So I realize that I had not had my coffee and I went back and asked her for my coffee and she said that she could not help me with that and that I abused the system and she will not help me at all this is a case of mistaken identity and I asked her her name I explained to her that I don't know what she's talking about and it's uncalled for and she still refused to give my coffee so here it is at 8:25 a.m. I'm still in my pajamas I've had enough of this store it's been so many incidences like this and it's getting to be too much this is the last straw I'm walked out of there without my coffee and I'm pissed I asked the woman for her name. ... mesh is her name unbelievable customer service
the one manager is a filipino and is trying to fire me.
Everything that has happened to me at Tim Hortons in Bonnyville, Ab, Canada. I started there on November 17/2017 as a baker. Dec. 9th I was doing my cleanup and I shut an oven down too fast, and caused some damage. I owned up to it the next day, it was my fault. So now I don't clean the ovens at night anymore. Week of Christmas I was given only 2 shifts, one was an 8 hour shift and the other was a 6 hour shift. That week I only worked 14 hours. I live in Bonnyville by myself, my family isn't here, so I have no one. From Dec on I have stayed at 6 hours a day. I have been there almost 6 months, and in that time they are accusing me of breaking the fondant machine. I know for a fact that machine was broken long before this happened. I could feel liquid running down the inside of my pants. So I know that I'm not to blame for it breaking down. My store's one manager, her name is Veronica Eder. She is the one who is trying to fire me. And shes a Filipino. They need to stop trying to take jobs away from Canadians! I owned up to the fondant machine breaking down, I didn't remember that it was leaking before hand. She said that the element for the machine would cost $1200.00 but elements don't cost much. They cost like $85.00. I'm tired of taking the blame for things being broken there. Things happen all the time. Shes had it out for me since day 1. My first shift there, I was left alone for 4 hours, while my supervisor was covering other peoples breaks. She didn't tell me what I was to do then either. I suggest that you guys review this as a SERIOUS matter, because I'm not the only one who feels like this! There are others at the same store as me, who are getting blamed for things as well! I like my job, but I don't deserve to be treated this way. I'm a human being too. Who makes mistakes, and takes responsibility for her actions.
That sounds like something I'm going through right now.. and I'm trying to figure out how to report all of the stuff my own manager has done.
I placed a order for coffee and timbits and these employees did something to my coffee and donuts that I got for my baby...
I was at Tim Hortons and I placed a order for coffee and timbits and when I got to the window a Caucasian women and Black girl was at the window smiling and giggling at us I payed it no attention but then after a few seconds a guy can to the window looking and laughing and waving so now I'm like what's going on and then it was a crowd at the window and they was laughing and the black guy with dreads hand me my coffe laughing so I said you know what I don't want it ! Due to the fact they were all crowded and laughing like they did something to my food and drink and then I say I want my money back and then the Caucasian women gets nasty yelling out goodbye . This is very rude and unacceptable you don't play with people food! My baby could've got sick if I would've gave him them donuts! Lord knows what they did to them and my coffee that's very unprofessional and something needs to be done about this! I went to the Tim hortons on Walden ave the address is 1610 Walden ave, Cheektowaga, ny 14225 my reference # is [protected] and this happened at 12:41 today .

bad service
I was at the Tim Hortons on James St in St Catherine's On. Today at 9:28 am. I ordered from an oriental looking dark haired lady ( with bright red lipstick).
I asked for a medium double double and a chocolate glazed donut.
As I walked over to get my coffee from the shelf, She gave me a timbit instead of the donut. I tried to tell her dark haired coworker about the issue. Her coworker looked over at her screen, shrugged her shoulders and did nothing to fix the issue...
hashbrowns/ sausage egg and cheese croissant

I know the feeling regarding attitude. I am in Northern Ontario, Canada, and the "attitude" (or lack thereof), of the TH employees here seems to be Take what you get and pay what we tell you to pay. If you don't like it, tough, take it and shut your mouth.
I told an employee today to "Mind her own business." When she didn't, I raised my voice, repeated the statement and had to do it again because of her sticking her nose where it had not been invited, but this time I raised my voice louder and added, "Shut your mouth." I walked away with my order, sat down, and had to endure several employees convincing each other that I was "guilty of verbal assault". They had been told by myself that it was all on camera and they could talk to the manager if they wanted, yet not once did a manager come forward, nor was afforded the right by any of them to even talk to a manager.
Yes, I was loud, but if saying what I did makes me guilty of verbal assault, then they are guilty of harassment and negligence.
The sad truth is that customers are no longer "right" regardless the situation, they are "tolerated".
