Tim Hortons parking

I have been a customer of Tim Hortons for perhaps 45 years and in general I am happy with your products and service. However, I recently visited your store

Sep. 30, 2019 Dining purchase TIM HORTONS #1335 EDMONTON AB Sep. 30, 2019 1.25

And had a coffee and donut using my Tim card to pay for part of it. I had been to that store 4 or 5 times before as it was a handy place to relax and wait for my son's medical appointment to end and then he would phone and I would pick him up.

Unfortunately, I did not realize there was a one hour limit on parking(I had never seen this at any other Tim Hortons) and I was there more than an hour and got a $63 ticket which I appealed to no gain.

I have paid the ticket as I don't wish to be hounded by some collection agency but the experience has left a "bad taste" regarding Tim Hortons.

Tim Hortons new lids for hot beverages

Please re-design your new lids or give customers options to use your old lids.

Myself as well as 80% of people I have asked all dislike the new lids.
1) The mouth peice is too high making for awkward lip placement when drinking.
2) the mouth peice is too far in towards the centre of the cup, which makes it difficult to sip the last drop that sits on the edge when you drink unless you move your head forward.
3) I can't anticipate the temperature of the beverage. Old lid mouth opening was large so you could feel steam on lips before even drinking it.
4) the amount of liquid you get per sip is fixed because the opening is too small. Is there an air hole on this lid?

The one positive is that this design does no drip from the underside rim of the cup as the old lids did.

I have actually stopped getting my morning tea from Tim Hortons because I don't like lids!

Tim Hortons drive thru worker

I have been a regular at Tim Horton for over 15 years, and I won't go back. Tim Horton's has always been my favorite restaurant. I went through the drive-thru at about 10:07 a.m. before Sunday School. I placed my order with someone who wasn't good at taking my order. When I drove up to the window to pay for my order, I wanted to just drive away but thought that would be rude. I paid for my order, then after I drove away I threw the food and drinks away. I believe the name tag said Tammy, this lady smelled so bad, her appearance was very nasty. I am very picky about who prepares my food. She wasn't clean at all. And when she handed me the drinks, she didn't know what she was doing, and almost spilled them. She wouldn't even tell me which soda was diet.
I know this lady is never clean because I have seen her before at a public school I had done volunteer work at. Also, I don't want to have someone prepare my food that hurts babies and brags to everyone about it. What she tried to do to that baby was unspeakable. I know there will be many others who feel the same way when they see her. Since I won't go back that already results in 4 customers lost. My son, daughter, and husband. And when people find ask me why I won't go to my favorite restaurant anymore, they won't neither.

Tim Hortons condition of store and drive through

-There used to be 2 drive through lanes, one has been closed for over a year
-The speaker at the drive through hasn't been working for 3 weeks and they haven't bothered to fix it, making the one accessible lane very slow and you have to order at the window so no orders are ever ready
-If you go between 7-9am, they never have Timbits or other popular baked goods.
-Currently have been waiting in the drive through for 20 min, with only 4 cars ahead of me

Tim Hortons good, coffee, employees

At 9am on October 7 2019, I walked into the Tim hortons I go to everyday, I ordered a extra large double double and a sausage and bacon breakfast wrap. After being told twice there was no such item on the menu I said look up at the number 8 and it's exactly what I ordered and finally she said oh ok. So after paying for my stuff I walk over and watch the kitchen lady making food, by no means is the work station close to being clean but there is an old wrap sitting there with everything on it but sausage and then she comes to my order and throws the sausage on it and uses that old wrap, she hands it to me I open it and the wrap is burnt and everything in it is ice cold, unfortunately I was in a hurry so I couldn't turn back but I just couldn't believe the service there. And just to put this in perspective, myself and the couple guys I've worked with for the past 6 years have been going to the same location everyday between 4 and 6 times a day. They know us well enough that when we walk In they know our order already, but after so many times of food being burnt or wrong coffees being made or burnt roasted coffee I think myself and the other guys are done with Tim Horton's, we will be taking our business to some other coffee shop. Not to mention the amount of times the one girl who basically throws your drinks and food at you through drive thru or rips your money out of your hand, and how many times I've waited for my change and never gotten it back, I'm sorry but regardless if it's 5 cents or 90 cents it's still theft. I think the Tim hortons owners and ceo need to give there head a shake and do something with the stores to make them better for customers.

The location on Vodden St E and Kennedy Rd in Brampton is the worst Tim Hortons in Canada. I've been going to this one for over 5 years daily. The owner is a joke and needs severe re-training in mamagement and ownership. This location makes the entire company look like trash. The employees get away with their nasty treatment of customers cause the owner i...

Tim Hortons customer service

Hello, I am a regular Tim Hortons customer and I always go to Tim's for my breakfast. I have been to many locations and am always satisfied with my food and service. However, I went to one of the Tim Hortons today around 9 am (Oct. 6, 2019) which is at 7995 Dixie Rd, Brampton, outside Petro Canada location and got the worst customer service experience in my lifetime. The employees there care more about their personal talks and EGO rather than their customers. Here is the whole situation - I went there around 9am to grab my coffee and food. I was waiting at the counter from 5 mins and nobody was there to take my order, though all the four staff members (girls) were busy in their personal chatting. There was one other, the only one customer in the store waiting to order the food too but the staff didn't care about anything and were busy chatting. After observing that, I asked them if they are able to take my order because I was running late. Then, after 2 mins, one of them came to the counter to take orders and the other one standing on the side asked me to first go outside and ask my friend ( who was sitting in the car) not to park there ( the car was there from 10 mins and she didn't care about that before as she was busy talking). So, I said is that okay if I order first and then go and tell him to move the car as I was ready to order, she said NO, go outside first and then come back to order. I don't know what kind of attitude she was showing to me. I just wanted to place my order because I didn't want to wait another couple of minutes as I value my time. So, I left the store without getting anything and they did not even care to apologize for the inconvenience caused to me. Of course, I would never wanna go back to that location where customers are not valued at all, but I want Tim Hortons customer service policies to be reviewed with those staff members at that location who don't care about their customers and keep their own ego above that so that it does not ruin other customers' mornings like mine. I would greatly appreciate if you look into this matter seriously and make other
customers' visit to be pleasant.
Thank you so much!

Tim Hortons customer service

Just ordered lunch at your Kanata and found your cashier rude and unhelpful
We are visiting from the UK and felt very uncomfortable with her attitude
We were not greeted with any smile or acknowledgement and although we have a British accent I didn't think we are that difficult to understand
3 times I had to ask for an Ottawa Senator's doughnut only to be glared at and a "what"? as her reply
Our drinks were slammed down in front of us and our chicken wrap and English muffin were slid across the counter
There was no please or thank you from ANY of your staff
We are shocked that this Tim's store operates in this manner and from a popular chain such as yourselves
Shocking attitudes and behaviour from your staff we won't be returning

Tim Hortons money

This morning at approximately 11 AM I drove to my favourite Tim Hortons which is located in Deerfoot city .
I ordered my usual coffee with some plain croissants some treats for my dog and a muffin for my child .
When I got to the window to pay I had an old $20 bill .
Now keep in mind I did not want to get rid of my old Canadian money but this is the only cash that I had at home so I brought it with me .
When I handed them the money a lady came back and said they could not except it because it could be fake .
I said to the girl how was an old $20 bill fake have you not ever seen a $20 bill and she replied no I have never seen one of these .
I tried to educate her to let her know that this is a $20 bill before the new 20s came out which may not have been in your time but this is a $20 bill .
She argued with me and I told her to go and get a manager as she turned around to leave she said so everybody could hear oh my god this is not a big deal .
When she came back she said the manager will not except the money I replied is your manager young and has never seen a $20 bill before and she replied yes I said well I would like to speak with him and she replied that he's not in today so I Astor then how did the manager say you can't take a $20 bill which she would not give me an answer to and just kept refusing my money .
All she kept arguing was that it could be fake it could be fake it could be fake which in turn I had to keep replying this is an old $20 bill and just because you may be 16 years old and I've never seen a $20 bill this is called money .
First of all to lie to me and say that the manager won't except it when the manager wasn't even there is disgusting second of all to say loud enough all my God this is an a big deal as she's walking away to get the fake manager that was not there that day is disgusting absolutely a palling that an employee who is probably not over the age of 18 could say something like that right in front of a customer.
How Tim Hortons is employing these young kids with no knowledge and bad attitudes is the most disgusting form of customer service I think I have ever experienced in a very long time .
Back in my day you would never speak like this in front of a customer you would never treat a customer that way nor would you lie to a customer about having a manager around .
I am truly a palled by the customer service I received today and to receive it from somebody who is 30 years younger than my age is absolutely the most embarrassing and shameful act that an employee can show .
After she refused my money lied to me and was rude to me I went to the Tim Hortons up the street ordered my meal got to the front to pay and the young boy took my money looked at it and said oh my god this is so cool you don't see a lot of old 20s come in here anymore are you sure you want to use it because I would be saving these,
Now this boy must've been around 17 years old and knew exactly what a $20 bill looked like.
Now again you had an employee refuse money why are you to the customer and then mock the customer right in front of them Tim Hortons should be truly ashamed for hiring people like this absolutely so unprofessional and disgusting that an employee would show this type of behavior in front of a customer and peers I am truly disgusted and saddened at the lack of professionalism and courtesy and complete lack of knowledge .
I will never use this location again as well as I will post this on all social media outlets I am truly horrified at this experience and I will make sure that everybody I know and everybody they know hears about this story .

I ordered a Tim matin on English muffin with bacon. We waited 20 minutes to get our order (pictures to prove) and the bacon was undercooked and the English muffin was burned. The lady in the kitchen kept screaming to the other 2 employees and it was just a horrible experience. I had to ask 5 times what the problem was and other people in the restaurant left their food untouched since it too was under cooked.

Tim Hortons customer service

One of the worst experiences i had in my life. I went to get my daily breakfast croissant, the employee refused to toast it as it's Tim hortons policy, i asked for the manager since that's my daily order! She refused and said the manager isn't in premises and she offered to help claiming that she's the supervisor ( i am not sure if even that's true).
I told here i need to understand why did you refuse to do my order the way i want it is that a new policy. She advised it has been like that forever, i assured her that yesterday morning i had the same, she said no way. I told her yes way i am telling you that's what i am getting, am i lying! She shocked me when she said i am not sure if you are lying or not! Away from the devastation of not getting my order i also called a Liar by one of your employees? That's not acceptable at all. I am expecting your action shortly or i'll pursed on legal action fo such inappropriate action. Contact me at [protected]@icloud.com

Tim Hortons cleanliness

I frequent the Tim Hortons in Saint Lazare, Qc. (1766 Chemin Ste Angélique) and the parking lot is never clean and tidy, I can't comment on the inside because I always use the drive-through. Today I had enough and took a picture of the large garbage can that you pass just before you order and it is absolutely disgusting! Hard to believe so I attached a picture and just in case you are not sure what you are looking at I took a close up so you can see the filth that has been adding up as no one gives a [censored] because it has been like this for months.

And you may as well take a minute to send your Tim's owner in Matawa, Ontario a note that his restaurant is also disgusting inside and out. We passed through there a few weeks ago and could not believe the way this place is kept, makes no sense.

I realize that every case is different because these are franchise owners but I cannot imagine that head office would put up with this for one second.

Good luck with these owners.

Every time me or anyone else I know goes to this Tim hortans the owners are slow and the people are rude and the drinks are never made how anyone wants it's disgusting. Way to ruin a nice morning everytime. These people, workers never add the right amount of cream/milk/sugar/flavouring that is supposed to be added yet they fully seem to understand when you ask... Tim Hortons milk

You should really have dairy free options like almond milk or coconut milk. More and more people are going vegan every day, and SO many people are lactose intolerant! There's such a big market there, so many people would go to a Tim hortons instead of star bucks. So much cheaper. A lot of people go there just for the coconut milk. Unfortunately they don't have all the teas you do. Please consider !

Tim Hortons french vanilla cappuccino

I buy a French vanilla almost daily and whenever I order a large my "large" is a medium. My cup is always at least a quarter empty. It has never been full. Is it possible that the machines have not been recalibrated since the cup size changes. It's very discouraging to pay the extra for the large to receive the same amount I would have had I ordered the medium.

Tim Hortons coffee

How [censored]ing hard is it to count to 1, 2 or 3? Is it too hard or is it something every semi-educated person learns in kindergarten? Even if its too hard y'all still got fingers on each hand to help ya out, so now why is it when ordering a coffee at some stores wether you order a triple triple or a double double or what ever, what you end up paying for is a mystery! I used to spend even budget for $100/week for coffee and what ever but that stops after this packaged vomit in a cup I was served today never again you ignorant, arrogant s.O. B's I will never spend another dime at your stores and i'll be lobbying the rest of canada to do the same untill a change of ownership back to a canadian owned company or a removal of all the ignorant staff who feel they should be the idiots to decide what people are going to take down the highway from your drivethru windows! At almost $2.50 for a cup of coffee you would think a person would get what they ordered but not here in canada oh no we have to put up with the incompitance, arrogance and ignorance when trying to buy a cup of morning coffee! Congratulations it was tim hortons that took me away from making coffee at home, and it was tim horton's employee's inability to make a cup of coffee as it was ordered who forced me back to making coffee at home! Good job, thanks for making sure customers know you don't give a dam about how they're being treated or served at your stores, this is not my first complaint about being served something not suitable for a pigs slop bucket, but it most definately is the last!

Tim Hortons kit kat latte

I usually stop 2-3 Xs per week and get a ten pack of Tim bits and a large iced coffee. Yesterday I saw the sign for the new kit kat latte. So I thought why not let's try it. Usually drinks are pretty warm and I wait a bit to take a sip. So now I am on the highway and take a drink, having no clue that the actual kit kat was put in the drink. Now it has soggy/soaked wafers that do no dissolve floating in it. I almost spill the drink because at first I was not sure what wa# actually in my cup. Not until I get to work and remove the lid do I see the soggy gross mess. I try to strain it out., but it was still undrinkable.
I myself am not a fan of soggy thing floating in my hot drink. I don't think the sign explains and I would like a refund.

Thank you
