new location french vanilla
In sault ste marie we have a Tim hortons and esso gas station togeather, this location is close to me but it has the worst product service and long wait time.
I go there twice daily and am very disappointed the drink are never full and when I ask them to full it they get attitude which I dont deserve.
I love your drinks and food and dont want to have to drive farther for good service. I have complained to the location but nothing seemed to come out of it and I'm not the only one who has had problems.
My email is [protected]@hotmail.com
This was a large French Vanilla which is a little more then half the cup along with foam. I worked at a Tim's years ago and I wouldnt havr served out somthing like that. You should get what you paid for.
take out cups
I am shocked that in 2018 you do not have proper recycling bins for your take out cups. I know that you sell 2 BILLION cups of coffee each year and Tim Hortons can't be proud that most of these are still sitting in landfill. I asked at the store what happens to the cups that people use in the store (the majority were sitting with store take out cups) and they said they put them in the garbage. In the garbage for us is a trip in a semi to landfill in the USA for the cups to then percolate methane gas and for the lids to take hundreds of years to decompose. Please be environmentally and socially conscious of how we need to move forward to zero waste. Please be a leader in zero waste and have proper bins and signage for the cups that you provide. In Europe they are banning single use plastics as we will have more plastic in the ocean than fish by 2050!
I have read in your press releases that " The Canadian Press that customers will soon see new packaging, marketing campaigns and an emphasis on being environmentally friendly." I hope this will also include a well marked recycling centre and emphasis on bringing your own mug. The "roll up the rim" actually discourages people from using a travel mug and I am hoping you can find a way to encourage people to reuse and recycle instead of the opposite. Please be part of the solution not part of the problem eh.
staws
Hello,
I have been a customer of Tim Hortons for years and I have always drank my drinks with stars no matter what it is including coffee. The last few times I have gotten my drinks the straws have been lower then average quality.
I try to take them out of the wrapper and each end of the straw slips and it has been cutting my lip.
Beyond disappointed in the quality of Tim Hortons.
Increase the quality of your products.
Thanks,
zero employee communication
My son and I visited Tim Hortons. I ordered qty (2) 2 breakfast sandwiches for 4$. 2 on a bagel with sausage egg and cheese, 2 on a croissant with sausage egg and cheese. The girl at the counter made a big production saying I am unable to get the croissant for the (2) for 4$ special and I will have to pay extra. I told her that was fine just give me them without the "special price".
We waited right next to the "kitchen area" where they make their food. The employee making the sandwiches yells "there are no more croissants we only have bagles". He continued to yell at the cashier "I told you we don't have any more croissants...stop selling them"
The cash register is less than 5ft away from the "kitchen area". I told the "kitchen area" employee that I had to pay extra to get those on croissants and that's unacceptable!
He put them on plain bagles, and told me it's only a $.50 difference and I cant wait back in line (which at this point was 8 customers long)to get my 1$ refund.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
First you charge extra to put a sandwich on a croissant vs a bagel...second I pay "extra" and in the end lose out on money after this humongous spectacle that could have been avoided as the "kitchen area" was 5 ft away!?
I have told numerous people this story, and they will no visit this location. It has diminished drastically.
smoke in restaurant
Close to every night when I visit Tim Hortons at 4228 Midland Ave, in Scarborough Ont.Canada, smoke is released from end of day duties into the restaurant. This is very bad for my heath as well as other customers who leave from it.This happens at around 10pm with some nights being worse than others, like this Monday Oct 22/18.I was forced to leave from the smoke which was in my eyes and lungs. This is a health and safety issue that must stop when customers are present. If this continues, I will be forced to contact Heath Canada and the Fire Marshal.
caramel latte
On MANY occasions that I have purchased a Latte and it is ONLY Half full before I have even taken a sip! When I am paying $3.45 for a MEDUIM drink I would expect it to be fill with the proper amount.
It's become so frustrating i will no longer even purchase them. I believe this is terrible customer service that your employees would still attempt to serve the Latte even with a noticeable weight difference. As soon as I am handed my drink I can FEEL that it is not full and I get nothing but attitude when I ask the employee to open and see how fill it is.
A Tim Hortons experience should be anything but frustrating. Unfortunately I have found it's only becoming more and more disappointing.
hershey hot chocolate
hello, I ordered a medium Hershey hot chocolate with marshmallows, was charged for marshmallows, however, didn't receive marshmallows in my hot chocolate. I have provided pictures for your review, I would like to be reimbursed for my hot chocolate. I have never complained however I have been receiving orders that are incorrect more often than not so I thought I should say something now.
staff
It first started at ordering was cut off trying to order wasn't finished then go to window she was been rude I couldn't even get my coffee in my cut holdered and she was say hello another words hurry up as I told her I was passing the bagel back to my child to get helllo passing the other stuff closer saying to her please wait getting a bad look so yes I did tell her she was been rude to get a smart remark of have a nice day
my order
I went into the Tim Hortons yesterday, located inside of the noco express at 6125 main St in Williamsville ny. I had ordered a medium iced cap. The people working were very professional and all. When I got my iced cap, it was milky and watered down. I asked if they could possibly make me a new one. They did. This one was worse then the first. I don't know what it is about that location but every time I have ordered my iced caps from there, it's always watered down and milky. Basically it's like taking half a cup of cream, putting it into a cup then adding water to it and drinking it. I also have a video of what it looked like if you would be interested in seeing it. There is never any coffee flavor in them. It's always just disgusting. I really think someone needs to look into that location and figure out what is going on.
cashier
Location: 5919 Macleod Trail SW (in shell gas station)
Calgary Alberta
Around 3:20pm at October 22
I was in line waiting to be served
And when two girls came in she decided to serve them first
I asked why I didn't get served
She just ignored and didn't listen to me
I am a regular customer, and was surprised to be treated this way
I would like to hear back at to what actions are being taken for this ride behaviour.
food
Good afternoon,
I just stopped by a Tim's on the corner of Sources and Hymus. I waited 8 minutes with one person in front of me, but that's ok. What isn't ok us paying 4.09 for 20 Timbits, and then to open the box at home and I have only 15! Seriously, I get not having 21 or 22, but to not even have 20 just isn't right.
Thanks for listening.

Tried the waffle egg burger recently and found it too sweet - my husband also had the same comment. Please Tim Hortons, either lower the sugar level or have a "sugar free" version.
cleanliness
2013 Lawrence Ave W, North York, ON M9N 0A3
Historically the staff does not clean tables and floors during evening shifts. On the rare occasion someone comes out to clean they do all tables with same dirty rag ... simply spreading stains evenly.
My friends and I have been observing this for 3 yrs.
The last straw is the current plague of flies. A combination of house flies and fruit flies in the seating area and in the serving area for the last month. We have visited once a week for 4 weeks. It has gotten progressively worse.
lack of employee service and health concerns
On October 21 2018, I arrived at Tim Hortons on 373 Lyndock St
Corunna, ON approximately 8pm. There was only one other person a head of me waiting. I over heard her stating that she was waiting over 30 mins for them to get her order right. I too was also waiting a long time to place an order. There were two employees up front over in the drive thru corner and I noticed at least two employees in the back area. Both in conversation and one changing the garbages. After about 5 mins or more of waiting, one of the employees out front finally called to an employee (male, reddish hair) who was changing garbages to come up front and serve me. As I watched touching dirty garbages, he came out to the front, took my order and handled cash and then handled the bag and the paper to get my muffin and then handled my tea, with out washing his hands or putting on gloves.
Also the female bathroom was disgusting and dirty, their was poo all over the seats and it looked like one of the toilets overflowed earlier and one toilet is really wiggly on the floor.
I think the staff should be retained in safe handling of food and not keeping their customers waiting for long times.
bad customer service
Bought on oct 21 2018, around 8:50pm at 5525 Ave Auteuil. Returned back asking the cashier if she would eat this dry lemon bread, well she would, then says to another staff she thinks it's dry, like mocking how I felt about this lemon bread. I asked her for it back cause I wanted to take it out of the bag to show it. When she finally gave it back the lemon bread was crumbed so I took out a piece and placed it infront of her. I said tell me it's not dry. She picked it up and crumpled it right in front of me. Would not stop swearing, I asked for a refund and she threw it at the front of the cash. I told her that this is not how you deal with the public, she replied she doesn't care and told me she doesn't care if I come back. And more swear words. When I asked for the manager and her name She wrote it on a piece a paper, I didn't notice the 2 names and when I asked her she grabbed it shoving it in my face, see it's there can't you read. I then told her that you shouldn't be acting like this to a me as the client and she says to clients like you yes I do. My daughter had said to me I guess this is just a job to her. And the girl actually heard us and yelled across to my daughter saying do you actually work.. The other staff member was very quite and we thanked her, but we were being mocked my the staff that had served us, repeating what we're saying. We are a big customer of the 2 Tim Horton near our home, when we go through drive thru some of the staffs know our order before us completing it. Now that must say to you how much we buy Tim Horton coffee ( at least 2-3 times daily) I wish to speak to someone about this matter. Staff name was either Antonia, or Danielle.
espresso machine
The Iroquois falls Tim hortons is always left behind and do not fix their appliances that break down, they do not offer espresso or hot apple cider drinks as their excuse is the machine broke down and it simply no longer available. Why would it not be replaced or repaired?
And while I'm here making a complaint I'd like to add that I was very upset that Tim Horton's stopped serving oat bran apple muffins!
this tim hortons sucks
Everytime I go to the 88tb and 125th tim hortons location they always screw up on my order. There rude they dont speak or understand proper english, completely ignorant when issues are brought to there attention and I will not tolerate it anymore not only do they screw up at least once a day, how come theres no manager in location for 3 days... They should have someone who understand english on the head set so the orders dont get screwed up. 3 days in a row my order was screwed. Done with it I will never go to this location again
They behave like this is because they are immigrants. Immigrants don't necessarily behave in the same fashion or way as white people would. Immigrants (non whites) don't share the same way of doing things that whites would. They don't share the same heritage, religion, behavioral methods and expectations, folklore, and language that we have. You would expect immigrants to bring their behaviors with them from their old country. People's behaviors don't stop at borders. When you bring in people from 3rd world countries, you also import their 3rd world behaviors. In addition, Surrey has an increased crime rate in which the majority of the new criminals are immigrants. Again, people's behaviors don't stop at borders
misconduct/mistreatment of employees
on Friday, October 19th, I was waiting in line and happened to overhear the manager speaking very inappropriately about another staff member to a staff member in front of the staff of subject and all of the customers. She was very rude and the staff member in question looked as if she was about to cry. I am a regular and see this sort of behaviour on a daily basis. It's also not unusual to hear her screaming at her staff when they make a mistake or a problem arises. It is incredibly unprofessional and quite annoying to see the staff who are trying their very best to be treated so terribly. I've had quite enough of this place and the drama that the manager brings in everyday.
hockey cards
All the tim hortons hockey cards I have been getting are bent in the center. Only reason for that is the rare cards are thicker and noticeable when bent threw the package. Seems to me the employees are bending the cards and keeping the thick packages for themselves. I have not gotten any of the rare cards only the common ones. I get about 4-6 packs a week. Sometimes more. It's not fair to us when they are keeping the good cards like they are.
employee tried to steal my daughters money
I went to Tim Horton's in Hawkesbury Ontario on McGill street and my daughter who is 4 years old wanted to pay for her own small chocolate milk. She put her change on the counter and the employee who served her took all her change, which was about $4 and the milk was $1.77, and proceeded to put it all into the cash register. When I asked her what she was found she said "I don't know" and I told her I wanted to speak to a manager and she got the supervisor who told me is was no big deal. The employee's name was Annisa. I am outraged and disgusted!
