Every time I go into this tim hortons I am treated as though I am an uninformed/stupid person that doesn't know anything about cooking, despite being a master broiler during my teenage years. I simply request, as I do the same manner at every other Tim Hortons without refusal, a bacon belt on a pinched croissant, grilled. The woman named Roberta blatantly refuses to grill my sandwich, causing me to go to a different location where they have no problem understanding that grilled is better and a reasonable request. This appears to be plain laziness under the guise that it will burn the croissant which is not true. However, It moreso appears to be very arbitrary that a person would refuse to grill a sandwich other than it takes longer for her and therefore she becomes curmudgeonly uptight and rude to the point she drives customers away. i've been to tim hortons all across Toronto and this one, despite being the closest to my house is and always has been the worst customer service experience i've ever been subjected to. For the purposes of uniformity across all tim hortons, the training staff need to teach the front line workers that grilling a pinched croissant is ok and must be done if the customer requests, as the option is also provided in the computer system.
Best,
Sean Mckinney
