Last time I order from here
I have an upcoming event and found a dress on the T.J.Maxx app, I ordered knowing I had plenty of time to get it before my event unfortunately they are extremely slow getting things shipped. Every department store I’ve ordered from has always shipped within 2-3 days of ordering, usually next day. T.J.Maxx finally just shipped it out today after 8 days, now let’s see how long it takes to get here!
I’ll stick to Macy’s or Nordstrom next time or Amazon.
Just tried tracking my order on the app and no matter how many times I’ve tried it won’t work. SO FRUSTRATING!
Update: it’s now 3 weeks since I ordered and I finally tracked my package which was sent ups but instead of delivering it to my house T.J.Maxx has it delivered to the local post office and now I have to wait for them to process it and send it out! Another couple days to wait thank god I ordered another dress from Macy’s for my event which came in 2 days. I will return the one from T.J.Maxx if it ever gets here and will never order from here again!

Where is “APP” support?
There is definitely a problem with this APP!
Never could get digital rewards to work. Even when the store app was working. Then poof! Open app and nothing! Pages were empty. I even signed out, deleted the app, then downloaded again. The header was at the top of an empty page. I could tap account, the menu would appear but that was it!
You can’t get “APP SUPPORT”! This isn’t an order or store problem, or a rewards card problem! It’s an APP PROBLEM. NO APP SUPPORT! DOES ANYONE READ THE REVIEWS?
I thought maybe I’d been hacked — until I attempted to get help (spending 30 minutes searching everywhere!) then began to read reviews.
Is corporate aware of the issues with the app?
Do investors know the issues with the app?!
You can get the names of board members, but you can’t contact them. You would think, that with all the different boards and committees, there would be someone following up on APP issues, ensuring proper working order, ease of use, etc.
Anyway, I guess this saves me money.
BAD FOR BUSINESS
Worst App Ever
This is the worst app I’ve ever used! Get a new developer! I actually cancelled a TJX Card several years ago because it was so difficult to use and manage my account from this app. I was completely frustrated after spending several hours over several months with the customer service and technical support departments trying to resolve the issue. I gave up and cancelled my card. The last time in the store my purchase was large and I was offered a significant discount on purchase if I signed up for the card. The cashier told me that a lot of improvements had been made to the app and website of the past few years making it much easier to navigate and manage...I just received my new card and attempted to register to make the payment. The website and app are still AWFUL! For some illogical reason you have to have 2 separate ID’s and Passwords for the Credit Card and the Rewards Card...Come ON! Make it simple! Hire the developer that developed the Fry’s Grocery App and Rewards Card...so easy to use and points automatically added to card. I’ve spent too much time already on this and will be cancelling this new card as well.
Bad app and no knowledge customer service
I download this app to make life easier when shopping either at store or online. So I set up whatever I have to on this app. So this is the problem part, under pay with card, I link my tjx reward credit card. They asked me for security things as normal like other app does by sending the verification code through my phone. Somehow I changed my cell phone and the one on tjx reward card was my old cell. On system mentioned if I don’t see my phone, please call [protected]. So I called and explained what happened. First rep, I repeated four to five times what happened after he tried to do something and got back to me once he didn’t know how to solve the problem that I called the wrong number. So he gave me [protected] in case I lost the communication but he would transfer me to another department. The second agent did the same. Finally she gave me another number to contact [protected]. But I have to call during the week. It seems they don’t do well on system set up or about the reps whom doesn’t know how to solve problem?! I don’t know. Honestly this kind of set up a new phone happened to me on other app but once I called customer service. They solved the problem professionally and never give frustration feeling toward customer. The worse of the worst experience using this app. I don’t recommend to use it at all.

I would like to first congratulate TJX for developing an app that is this terrible, non functional, and frustrating to use. You’ve truly set a new standard for dumpster fire apps. Honestly, I am almost impressed by the laundry list of issues that I have encountered consistently in my many attempts to do literally anything on this app… almost. The fact that this is a major retail chain’s official app and not the first development attempt of an 11 year old is appalling, and frankly a little insulting as a customer. This is nothing new, and patches to “fix bugs” are released, yet this remains to be one of the most poorly rated shopping apps. Investing profits in their app, which would in turn increase sales, is clearly not on their to-do list any time soon. Hmmm.
Undergrads could, and do, develop better apps than this. My toddler could develop a better app than this. A three legged dog with cataracts in both eyes and major arthritis could develop a better app than this. These are just a few of my money saving ideas to improve the usability and function of this steaming pile of vomit your company calls an app.
Other possible developers that would vastly improve your app? I’m so glad you asked. A crab (any crustacean really), that old sprouty potato that rolled to the back of your pantry that we both know you saw and didn’t pick up, some sidewalk gum, multiple cats stacked on top of each other to form one very tall Voltron-esque cat, a slice of cheese, an empty amazon box, etc etc.
In all seriousness, if you as the downloader want to browse and save items to your favorites on this app, there’s a 10% chance it will suit your needs. If you intend to place an order, pay your card balance, or use it for more than 2 minutes at a time without it crashing, I would suggest saving yourself the headache. Personally, I am really pulling for the stack of cats idea. In the meantime I will just use a computer or shop in person like some kind of peasant.
TJ Maxx- Y’all are lucky I’m broke and love a good deal. If I could afford this quality of new items anywhere else, I’d be gone in a second. Get to work fixing this app right meow.

WORST APP! Deleted!
Always indicates incorrect log in information, but I can access it just fine from my Mac. It won’t link my information and EVERY SINGLE TIME I’m at the store, the cashier says “Just download the app” heavy sigh….ummm NO THANKS! I usually invite the employee to review the app reviews to further explain the issues so many people are having.
I have 13 other store apps on my phone that work seamlessly. This app needs significant help!

Very un-user friendly
This app signs you out frequently and even upon updating passwords it says you have the incorrect password even though I can log in with it online. The connection with my rewards account is terrible as well often showing zero rewards even though I have an email with my rewards code. Causes a ton of frustration when in-store shopping so I usually take a snapshot of my reward from my email so it can be scanned at checkout. Worst shopping app I have.

It has been several months now that the T.J.Maxx app does not work. Whenever I go to Shop it brings up a white screen. I have deleted the app several times and reinstalled it. I have done numerous comments to T.J.Maxx directly via email no response. I normally spend $3000 around Christmas time with TJ Maxx stores, not this year I didn’t spend a dime.It’s a shame they can’t respond to their customers complaints or fix their app so it works properly.

Don't waste your time
I totally agree with the reviewer who stated "worst app ever". I have spent way too much time trying to get into it. Multiple times I have had to reset password. I love how it tells me to contact customer support. What a joke that is! Once I finally found a number there is no option to deal with app issues. After 4 minutes of listening to their options and choosing something, I still got no where. Deleting app the moment I am done with this review. It's a waste of time!

Wish I could give this app a ZERO star rating!
When I first downloaded the app I had no issues linking my card and could see my rewards. However, within the last year this all went bad. I can no longer see my rewards and cannot link my card via the app, nor online. I tried calling customer service and was sent to a “technical” team member. She was no help. She told me I needed to delete the app and clear my cache. I did both and still cannot link my card! What a joke! It’s as if the company wants to make it more difficult to use your rewards. And now as I’m trying to send this it keeps telling me the “nickname” is already used. Good grief!

App is one of the worst I’ve ever used
It says I now have $0 in rewards. But for the past year I’ve had between $40-$70. I just logged into the website and it says I have $70 in rewards. Checked the app again and it says $0. I tried to used my rewards in the store yesterday and they didn’t show up. Also had to pay a stupid late fee of $40 or so because I had a balance of like $5 that was like a day overdue. I have autopay set up on all my cards monthly that pay the entire statement balance but this one doesn’t offer it, so I have to constantly check this app and I hate doing that because it’s not user friendly at all :( I’ve been debating on canceling my tj maxx card because of this app

So Bad
This app annoys me to all ends! I can never see my rewards certificates. And then recently when I tried to link my card, it made me create a whole new account. And after all that I still can’t link my card. I tap “link card” and it just takes me to the rewards section of the app, which is blank. so now I have 2 accounts and got nothing out of it. And when I call customer support they don’t give any helpful info or advice. I love the TJX card and the store, but this app needs to be reevaluated, and redesigned. Due to these issues, I’m forced to use the desktop version to check my rewards, which is not the worst but can be inconvenient. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

great store - the worse app ever
the worse app ever. been trying for two years to get it linked. store manager gave me their phone number bc she gets so many customers who can’t access their reward online certificates. she gave me their phone number that the store clerks use. if you call any other number / including the number on their card or other number, neither one answers! the manager told me she gives out the number to many frustrated customers. so it has been a year and i just tried again. they send me reward certificates to my email and then they disappear and can’t be found anywhere. nothing on the account - same email - for rewards.
just use another card besides that synchrony card/. they make it frustrating for a reason.
