This place is like any other used car dealership
This place is like any other used car dealership. They sell cars that look nice, but you gotta be careful 'cause they're actually junk. Their repair shop is a total joke. Don't even bother, just stay away.
I bought two cars from TLC Motors Inc
I bought two cars from TLC Motors Inc., and both of them have had problems. It has been a real hassle having to take the vehicles back to the shop multiple times, and the issues never seem to get resolved. I definitely won't be purchasing from them again, and I suggest you avoid them as well.
My son bought me a car from TLC Motors Inc
My son bought me a car from TLC Motors Inc. as a birthday/Christmas gift. We chose the car we wanted and were told it would be ready by the next Monday. When we went to pick it up, it wasn't ready. We had to wait for them to finish. They promised to do an oil change, detailing, and replace the broken headlight switch. The only thing they did without us having to take it to their shop was the cleaning and detailing. I strongly advise against buying from them. We're also still dealing with an ongoing issue!
I wasted my time going to TLC Motors Inc
I wasted my time going to TLC Motors Inc. I drove for over an hour to see and buy a truck. They confirmed my appointment before I left home. When I got there, I saw everyone watching The Avengers. Then they were like, "Who's gonna help this customer?" It wasn't very professional. I asked about the truck, but it was nowhere to be found. The salesman who tried to help me made a few calls and told me to go to the detail shop, which was only 6 minutes away, because "we always send our vehicles there before showing them." So I drove to a place called the machine shop, where they said the truck would be. They told me it would be outside and unlocked if I wanted to see it. I arrived at the detail shop after leaving TLC Motors and searched for the truck. Still couldn't find it anywhere. Did I really just drive for over an hour with my 3 kids for no reason? Yes, I did. If you care about your time and money, I recommend going to another dealership.
My wife bought a car from TLC Motors Inc
My wife bought a car from TLC Motors Inc. and they told her that if she bought the extended warranty, it would only add about $2.00 a month to her loan. She agreed, but it turned out to be a total lie. The warranty actually added $50.00. On top of that, they added a $299.00 charge for something called "Other." When she checked with the credit union for a better interest rate, they were shocked at the high cost of the warranty and offered her the same thing for half the price. They also asked her about the $299.00 "other" fee, but she never got a straight answer. She called TLC Motors Inc. to cancel the warranty and the $299.00 charge, but they never called her back or answered her messages. It seems like they have caller ID and are avoiding her calls. They really ruined what should have been a pleasant experience. I suggest going to reputable dealers and checking reviews before setting foot on their property.

I bought a 2017 GMC TERRAIN from TLC Motors Inc
I bought a 2017 GMC TERRAIN from TLC Motors Inc. on July 25, 2022. Three weeks later, while I was getting on the highway, the vehicle suddenly shut off on me! The air conditioning and heating system stopped working completely! Whenever I make a sharp turn, the vehicle shuts off completely. They were supposed to send me the closures for my tire caps and the piece for my backlight, but I kept getting the runaround.
I bought a car from TLC Motors Inc
I bought a car from TLC Motors Inc. in September . I had an inspection done by someone else, and they found a problem with the oil. I told TLC about it, and they said they would check it out. But they didn't really fix it. TLC claimed that the oil was at 93%, even though I specifically asked them to take a closer look. They didn't do anything about it. So, I took the car to a mechanic in my town, and they found that the lower oil pan was bent. I had to pay $220+ to get it replaced.
Another big issue is that TLC told me the car hadn't been smoked in. Well, they were lying. They must have tried to cover up the smell, but once that wore off, it was obvious that the car had been smoked in. The salesman who helped me was alright, but the rest of the staff has been ignoring my calls and all that. It's really disappointing how they haven't even tried to fix the problem. I definitely won't be buying another car from TLC.
I bought a car from TLC Motors Inc
I bought a car from TLC Motors Inc. last July, but there were some problems with it. They said they would fix them, but I couldn't reach them afterwards. A few weeks later, I discovered more issues that were already there. I've been trying to contact them since then, but they never call back. I've been struggling with these problems and spending more money on them. They didn't properly inspect the car before selling it. I even got an extended warranty, but it doesn't cover any of the problems I'm facing. I wanted to trade the car in, but I can't because I paid way too much for it and dealerships turn me away. I'm considering getting a lawyer, but I can't afford it because I'm already spending too much money. Many of the issues with the car are safety-related.

I made a transaction with TLC Motors Inc
I made a transaction with TLC Motors Inc. on 2/14/2022. I paid $16,000.00 for my trade-in and $15,749.00 in cash, making a total payment of $31,749.00. During the transaction, the salesperson, Christian C, assured me that they would repair the scratched surface on the back right fender wheel well. He even said that the repair would be so good that "only you would know the scratches were ever there."
TLC took my vehicle, a 2017 Ford F-150, for the repair. However, when they returned the truck to me, the scratches were still visible. I immediately contacted Christian C to express my dissatisfaction with the unsatisfactory repairs. TLC Motors responded by saying, "That's what we said we would do."
I didn't stop there. I spoke to Christian and his sales manager in person at the TLC property. I showed them the scratches after the repair was supposedly complete and expressed my concern. Both of them assured me that they would get in touch with me and find a solution to address the repair issue.
Unfortunately, despite my efforts, I have been unable to reach them by phone. I have left several messages, but it has been over a month, and I have not received any response from TLC Motors. It's disappointing and frustrating.
The stock number for my transaction is ***.
I bought a used Toyota Sienna from TLC Motors on May 30
I bought a used Toyota Sienna from TLC Motors on May 30. When I test drove the van, I heard a clicking noise when I turned. I told my salesman, Jerel, about it and he said they would fix it if I bought the vehicle. So, I went ahead with the purchase. On June 4, we took the van to their repair shop for the necessary repairs. They kept it there for two days and then told us that we had a bad cv joint, which they replaced. But after driving the van for just a few days, the noise came back and got louder. I tried calling the dealership and the repair shop multiple times in the following weeks. Initially, they told me to call different people, but I always ended up leaving voicemails and never received any return calls. I even sent a direct message to Jerel, but he didn't respond either. The problem that was supposed to be fixed when I bought the van has only gotten worse over time, to the point where I don't feel safe driving it anymore. I will have to take it to another mechanic to get the repairs done.
I bought a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe from TLC Motors Inc
I bought a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe from TLC Motors Inc. on February 4th, 2022, and it turned off on its own after a week and a half. I called them multiple times, but they kept saying the general manager (GM) would call me back. I waited for weeks and even started sending emails. Here's the conversation I had with Chad. They also lied to me about the trade-in value of my previous car, a 2018 Honda Accord Sport. The bank verified its worth at $24,000, but they only offered me $18,000, even though I had done all the necessary maintenance, including an oil change and recently replacing the fuel injectors for $1800. When I checked their website, I saw they were selling similar cars for $26,000. They claimed it was due to the mileage, but that was obviously a lie. Chad assured me that the GM would call, and they even recorded that conversation. However, the GM never called, and I didn't receive any follow-up calls to check on the car, otherwise they would have known it had stopped working. I ended up having to pay $2000 for repairs because I needed transportation and was relying on them. Additionally, the tires were in very bad condition and were already 6 years old. It's clear that they didn't conduct a thorough 70-point inspection as they claimed. I have already contacted my lawyer, and I'm waiting to see if TLC Motors Inc. is willing to address the issue before I proceed with legal action. If they don't, I will take further legal steps.
I bought a Used 2003 S-10 from TLC Motors on March 2nd
I bought a Used 2003 S-10 from TLC Motors on March 2nd. They told me the vehicle was safe and fine to drive. Within 24 hours, I took the truck to my mechanic for inspection. My mechanic found a rusted hole in the frame and said it was dangerous to drive. He warned that the frame could snap at any time. I have an invoice from a reputable mechanic to prove it. I immediately informed the dealer, but they were unhelpful and unwilling to cooperate. They suggested I bring the truck to their mechanic for inspection, but they refused to give me a refund because I bought it "as is." I assumed their mechanic had checked the truck to ensure it wasn't totaled. However, they sold me a truck that is now considered totaled due to the high cost of repairs. They lied to my face when I asked them about it before signing the papers. Their carfax report didn't show any rust damage, unless it was manipulated. The only thing they offered was to have their mechanic look at it and possibly fix it. However, from the beginning, they gave me the runaround and threatened legal action if I pursued anything. This company should not be in business anymore. I could have died driving off their lot. They didn't take my concerns seriously when I called them and wanted me to bring the unsafe vehicle back without informing me of any possible solutions. TLC Motors will deceive you.
I bought a 2003 Mercedes Benz E 320 from TLC Motors on May 5
I bought a 2003 Mercedes Benz E 320 from TLC Motors on May 5. I paid $4045 in cash for it. Before the deal, I asked the salesmen two important questions. I asked if the title I was getting was a salvage title and if the car had been repossessed. The salesman told me no to both questions. I decided not to pay the taxes right away, but I still haven't received the title, which I found strange since I paid cash for it. They said it would come in the mail, but it never did. Then, a lady from the title and registration office at TLC Motors called me and said my title had arrived. She gave me a title with some other papers to take to the DMV. It was basically everything I had already signed, but this time there was a repossessed affidavit attached. This was something I specifically asked the dealer about before buying it. I always make sure not to buy any vehicle that has been repossessed. I've only had this car for 47 days, and it has been in the shop for over 25 days. This is why I don't buy repossessed vehicles. Previous owners let them go back because they know the cars are no longer good. My question is, how can you not know that a car you're selling isn't a repossessed vehicle if you're the one who repossessed it? And there was a lien with your company's name on it. The sales manager said nobody was aware. I've already paid $2500 for repairs on a car I've only had for 47 days, and I only paid $4000 for it. I want my money back or I want to be reimbursed for the $2500 in repairs.
I bought a car from TLC Motors Inc
I bought a car from TLC Motors Inc. on June 28, 2022. On the first day, it started leaking oil. I took it back to their repair shop, and they said they fixed the problem. However, the car started leaking oil again. I had to take it back for the second time. They returned it to me, claiming it was fixed. But after two months, the car completely broke down on the side of the road. I had to get it towed back to TLC's repair shop, where it sat from Thursday afternoon until Wednesday when I finally had it removed. I called on Tuesday to get an update and asked to speak to the shop manager. When he called me back, he seemed frustrated and asked me what I had been told. He continued the conversation by speaking over me and suggesting that I wanted him to prioritize my car over his other customers. I never said that; I just wanted to know why there was a delay. This $30k car was just sitting in their gravel parking lot for days, and it was the third time since I bought it. As the shop manager's attitude worsened, so did mine. Eventually, he refused to work on the vehicle. I had to have it removed and taken to another shop. They quickly identified the problem as a broken rear axle, caused by loose and missing bolts. They fixed it within 24 hours. It turns out that this "premium used car," as Joe M claimed, was not so premium after all. To make matters worse, the owner of TLC Motors Inc. was even more unprofessional. He made a social media post saying that I threw a "tantrum" and blamed my son for mistreating the car. He even claimed to have personally witnessed it. I admit that I did get upset, but I'm sure I'm not the first or last person to react this way. This so-called premium used car had been in their shop three times and sat there for days without even being looked at. Since I bought it, it has only been repaired by their shop, and none of these repairs were covered under warranty. It cost me $2000.98.
