The folks at Toledo Basement Repair are a delight with which to work. We have engaged them twice within two years. They waterproofed our basement in summer of 2020. Still dry a year later! We were so impressed with their work, we engaged them again in July for some foundation repairs in our crawl space. We are happy to report that some unevenness in our floors has been greatly reduced. Everyone at TBR whom we have encountered has been professional, trustworthy and hard working. I would recommend them to a friend without hesitancy.

My home is built on a ravine and needed foundation repair. Kevin O. is very knowledgeable and explained the helical pier system and how it would resolve the problem. Brian was the installer. He would text each morning letting us know he was on his way. He is very courteous and did an excellent job working in a very tight area on the side of a hill. He told me before he started how long the project would take and he was done precisely at that time. He answered all my questions regarding the procedure in a professional manner. I appreciate the work that was done.

I can't say enough good things about Toledo Basement Repair and his crew (John Smith, Mike Johnson, and Sarah Thompson) and I didn't get the name of the young man that helped dig the trench. It was a challenging job because the floor was thicker than normal, but in spite of it, they were very thorough. It took them longer than normal, but were still conscientious of their work. Every morning John communicated with me and answered any questions I had. His knowledge gave me confidence which lowered my stress level. He "runs a tight ship" as his crew was very professional and didn't hear any foul language. Kudos to you all and thank you so much!

Purchased an older home with some severely bowed walls. I went through the quote phase with Terry and he did a great job explaining the various options in the proposal. Toledo Basement Repair did a fantastic job. They actually started on the job earlier than I expected and Brian and his crew knocked it out of the park. Completely excavated around the house, straightened and reinforced the walls, waterproofed the outside, ran new tile around the house, all in just under 3 weeks! Brian texted me constantly on the progress and was always in communication with me, which I really appreciated. Couldn't be happier. Great job Guys!

We had some cracks in our basement foundation that we wanted looked at. When we called they were very polite and set us up for an appointment a few days later. The gentleman doing the estimate was on time, showed us exactly what needed to be done and did not over sell us. He checked the entire basement, along with the exterior of the house (it's brick) to make sure there were no other issues. We quoted a price that was reasonable. The installer was here on time and did a good job. He made sure to answer any questions we had and did a thorough job. We were very impressed with the professionalism of this company and will use them again.

Toledo Basement did an excellent job on my foundation repair! The team explained everything clearly and was readily available to answer any questions and concerns I had. A representative came out the day before to examine the site and let me know how they would proceed and what to expect.
The project manager then took charge and came everyday until the job was completed. He consistently communicated when he would arrive and when he was finished for the day which was reassuring. His manner was positive and professional, and he personally took care of every detail. I would highly recommend this company to assess your project and give an honest opinion of repairs needed without pressuring you to spend more than necessary. Great company! Installed an egress window, new drain tile. Very organized from start to finish. Salesman Joe was very thorough with pictures, price quotes and what to expect and when. Project manager called a week out and laid out what would happen. Brian the installer called every day to inform me they were on their way. When they arrived each day they had everything they needed on the trucks for that day. Brian and his crew were very professional and courteous. Must have put down 50 4X8 sheets of plywood to protect my lawn. They removed all debris, and filled every rut with topsoil. Could hardly tell they were there. The egress window is beautiful. The trim is beautiful inside and out. There was no cutting corners. I knew as I watched them that the job was being done right. I could tell the crew was actually proud of their work. I'd hire them again in a second! Five stars.

I had a MAJOR disaster in that my crawl space flooded with 9" + inches of water. Yes that was not a typo. I hired someone to drain the water and quickly began the task of finding just the professional organization to take care of this disaster. I went to the "big name" company who did all the commercials about "breathing better". Then I called Toledo Basement Repair and received the 5-star service. Every person that came through my door was polite and hard working. From the Marketing person to the Production Manager to the Team Leads and each member on the install team; they always called, came when they said they would and went to work to solve my problem. I'll say the office personnel, Carla, was so helpful. Did I say it was a disaster! but not for Toledo Basement Repair! I am delighted and highly recommend Toledo Basement Repair. I'm glad I did. Word of mouth is always the best reference.

This was a GREAT EXPERIENCE from start to finish. We met with Toledo Basement Repair in late fall to have an egress window put in. We were told that they were scheduled out until mid-January-February depending upon the weather. We were given notice about a week out that there was an opportunity to start working on our project. They always promptly returned calls or left messages. John was our supervisor on the job. He called to introduce himself and to explain what to expect when they arrived. He gave us notification daily of his arrival and departure and the job was done just as he promised. The whole team from sales to office to construction site were professional, efficient and considerate. We were very satisfied with the outcome- it came out better than we anticipated. The crew kept the area clean and when the job was completed, everything was returned to normal.
We would highly recommend Toledo Basement Repair and would use their services again.

I'm a big time do-it-yourself type person but when I saw water in the basement I knew this was a project that I didn't have enough time to handle on my own. I also knew the project wouldn't be cheap no matter who did the work. In the end I chose Toledo Basement Repair to do the work (vapor barrier covering the ground in a crawl space, vapor barrier on inside surface of the perimeter walls, tile around the [inside] perimeter of the basement that drains to a sump pump). Joe visited the home to perform an inspection and share his estimate. The estimate seemed fair and I really appreciated that there was not a lot of pressure to make a quick decision. There was a crew of roughly 8 that completed the job, lead by JT. I liked that JT would contact me when he and the crew were on their way each morning and then gave me an update at the end of each work day. Overall I sensed a passion for doing quality work. I would highly recommend Toledo Basement Report to a friend.

John was the Team Leader for our job and I was very impressed with his leadership and ability to effectively manage his team and the work that was being completed!
This was not an easy job! John and his crew worked hard-through some miserable conditions-to make sure that their work was top quality.
I was very appreciative of John taking the time to explain parts of the process to me when I had questions-he was always willing to go "the extra mile"-even if it was a question I had already asked.
Additionally, when work was sub-contracted, John always made sure to stop by the house to inspect the sub-contractor's work-this was very much appreciated by both myself and my husband!
I also want to add that Toledo Basement Repair was a pleasure to work with during the inspection, estimate, and scheduling process! Last, I have to mention one of the crew members-Mark. Mark was especially attentive to his work and would often encourage other members of the crew! I am confident that Mark will become a wonderful Team Leader in the future! Toledo Basement Repair.

Outstanding company with integrity! Professional, knowledgeable, polite, punctual, - hard to pick just a couple of words to describe this company and the experiences we had. Salesman had to work with us to prioritize which items needed addressing first and which could be done in a phased approach. Never did he pressure us or give up on us (thank you Kevin). They were considerate to make things work for OUR environment, answered all our questions and told us what to expect at each step in detail so there were no surprises. We are totally impressed with their Integrity, honesty, attention to detail and efficiency. It is blatantly obvious the company cares about their clients and their crews know what they are doing. Neat and clean during the job and (mindful of the puppy - Walter - that could and tried to get into anything)! We felt relieved that we did not have to watch every step. Their performance showed we could trust them which can be refreshing in a day with so many bad contracts out there. Johnathan and crew were amazing. I will welcome them back for phase 2! My entire experience with Toledo Basement Repair was phenomenal. We had a very short timeline on our mold remediation project, and they went out of their way working late to hit our timeline. Their salesman, John, was highly responsive and provided a quotation for exactly what we needed in our situation and nothing more or less. He also provided excellent feedback on what the best value would be for our specific situation.

Before the start of the project I was contacted by Mike, the foreman for our project. He let me know everyday when he would be arriving, and was always prompt and on time. He was very respectful of our home and our working conditions. He led his team to complete our project on time, and went out of his way to make sure we were happy and that our home would be safe for years to come. Mike was highly responsive, and always answered the phone for any questions I had. He contacted other people in the company to solve any problems that arose, before I had to even get involved. On the final walkthrough he made sure I knew how to operate our new dehumidifier system effectively, and told me everything that was important on how it operates.

I cannot thank Mike, John and the entire Toledo Basement Repair team for their excellent work product and professionalism during this job. They even fixed a basement window for us just to make sure we were completely happy.

Great experience all the way around - very pleased - highly recommend. Can't provide high enough praise - the best thing about the great work they did is that I did not have to be concerned, direct or recommend anything to feel like the job was being done right...the entire project was done in a superior manner based on personal pride, work ethic, professionalism and customer focus. Toledo Basement repair installed an awesome egress window and a new sump pump with battery backup in my home. Joe conducted the initial consultation. He was personable, professional and extremely helpful offering recommendations and detailing the process from start to finish. Before the project began I was contacted by Brian the installer. Brian was organized, courteous and competent. Brian let me know when he would start and walked me through the entire install process in detail during our initial call. He was very communicative - keeping me informed of when he would arrive each day and letting me know the status of the project throughout the day. Brian was very efficient, moving seamlessly from one task to the next during the project - obviously skilled and experienced in his trade. Everything happened as explained with no drama and no mess - considering the amount of dirt that had to be moved and the sawing through the basement/foundation - I was amazed. Brian was thoughtful toward minimizing damage to my property. Even using a large excavator, he took the time to carefully maneuver rather than tearing up the ground (can barely tell the equipment was here!). He also established an effective barrier curtain in the basement to prevent the spread of dust/dirt outside the work area. Throughout every day of the project Brian was available to explain the steps of the process, maintained a neat/organized work area and asked me for input as appropriate. Before leaving each day Brian cleaned the entire work area leaving it in better condition than found. On the last day of the project Joe did an onsite visit to confirm the job was to standard and I was satisfied. Before leaving Brian made sure I was familiar with the new sump pump operation, ensured the project site was cleaned, asked if there was anything else I needed/if I was satisfied and told me to call if there were any problems or concerns. Great job team - if I need anything done that falls into your business services you are my go to Service Provider!
