I am requesting a refund on my Total AV antivirus subscription which I have recently taken out (23/9/2023). I had use of your software during the previous 12 months but unaware to me my subscription was auto renewed at the charge of £106 (taken via Paypay) After contacting both yourself and Paypal regarding the payment I was subsequently offered a refund of £74.02 making my subscription charge £31.98.
I have tried to use the product on several occasions with limited success, the software will start a scan, showing an increasing number of files/folders scanned and showing no threats, then after a few minutes the number of files/folders scanned reverts to zero and the scan seems to continue with no further updates until I am forced to shut it down,
I have tried to remove and re-install the software on several occasions and to scan with the same results, during this time my PC was running slower and slower and continually freezing for several minutes.
My final option was to remove your software and install a free trial version of Malwarebytes which found several problems and returned my PC to normal use. I then removed the trial programme and re-installed Total AV, but when I attempted to run a scan I had the same results as on previous occasions and have now removed your product and will not be using it again.
I am requesting a refund of my payment of £31.98 for the 12 months subscription as I no longer require your service, and if this is done to my satisfaction ai will not take the matter any further although it has caused me great problems in the past 2 weeks. (Customer ID [protected])
Please also cancel any auto renewal agreement.
Desired outcome: Refund of £31.98 and confirmation of request -to [protected]@outlook.com
