Change of date fees
I booked a flight from jhb to bulawayo for 24 January 2022 whilst trying to book for 24 Dec 2021.the fault was mine and when I requested a refund from about 1600 the quote came in at 400 so to me it made no sense but to rather change dates and top up the difference if any, to my surprise the quote for the panalties and difference are almost equivalent to a round trip if I had to make fresh bookings. Desired outcome: A change of booking tothe 17th of March with a reasonable fee for change of booking regarding the time I have logged my request
Flight tickets
I booked a flight from Berlin to Mumbai through Travelstart. The flight that I was provided had a waiting time of 10 hrs at Kuwait airways. The flight was via Istanbul via Kuwait then Mumbai. I reached Berlin airport 4 hrs in advance. The Turkish airline refused to give me the boarding pass or check me in with a reason stating that the travel agency should change my kuwait airline flight to Indigo, but even after spending an hour on the call with customer support team no support was provided and Turkish airline kept on refusing to provide me with the boarding pass. I had to book an emergency ticket at the airport for the next available flight paying 400 euros. Now another problem is that my flight from Kuwait airways which is from Mumbai to Kuwait has been cancelled and again no support has been provided by the customer support team. The only thing I am told is to contact the travel agency by the airlines and in return the travel agency is asking me to contact the airlines. Not sure what should be done and I am very much pissed with Travelstart.
Responding to emails
Hi, I have been trying since last month to rebook my suspended ticket. I am getting the worst service from Travelstart. I will loose my credit if I don't book before 31 December 2021. It seems that they are employing stall tactics.
When I email them it takes a lot longer than 48 hours for a response and then they just send a question as a reply. I reply immediately and have to wait a very long time to get a one sentence response. I asked for their contact number and up to date I still have not received any reply.
What can I do? Is there any action I can take if I loose my credit?
Desired outcome: A booking before 31st of December or at least a contact number

Trying to rebook a suspended flight
I suspended my flight back in early Nov as there was doubt over when we would get our visas. I've been trying to rebook these flights for over a week and no one responds via he WhatsApp line or the online contact form.
No other recourse is fine. To try and get hold of them. Incredibly disappointed. Have booked flights with travel start in the past. I'm incredibly reluctant to ever do so again.
Desired outcome: An agent needs to get back to me so that I can book my flights, using the credit I have with them.

Avoid Travelstart at all cost. Let the buyer beware. I booked a business class ticket for 30 November 2021 which was cancelled due to COVID. I am still waiting for them to acknowledge that I exist four weeks later.

I have requested on the 14th of December immediately after my son got is PCR test and being covid +. He had to fly on the 15th
As you can not speak to an agent on the phone, I tried to make contact with them via wapp and email, to no avail only received an email from the on Friday 17th December. That they will revert back.
Got an email today to say that the ticket is a no show. If my email and wapp were attended to on time as well as the website contact us, then it would not have been a no show.

Lack of service and communication from travel start
08/12/2021 - I had a flight booked with travel start british airways the reason for travel was to see my ill grandad, however due to unforeseen circumstances I needed to change my ticket with travel start, I tried to get hold of them prior to the flights departure to move my ticket to the next morning, I tried to call and watsapp the number provided and received no response from the company despite numerous attempts to contact them via phone watsapp and email.
I had to then make other arrangements and pay for another flight as still they have not contact me please advise on what I can do to get a refund as I had to book an pay for another flight.

I already provided the proof of cancellation of the ticket within an hour of booking but still you guys are not solving the problem.
I even told you that I am ok with the coupon as well, but still you are telling me that you have already provided this option to TAP PORTUGAL through email.
I called two times to TAP PORTUGAL,
On 6th Dec, 2021, with my conversation with Miss Gabriel, my ticket ref at TAP PORTUGAL is WA3C5T,
i told her the situation, and she told me that they can provide travelstart(not me) a coupon or refund but they cannot directly process to it for me since i bought from Travestart.
They further told me that instead of email, travel start can just place a call and they would directly work for it.
The airline is telling this so i am requesting you to please proceed to it and provide me with a coupon for LESOHL.
ps i am calling you almost regularly for 10-15 times but you guys do not answer my calls. My last talk was with Tushar and he told me to be on hold for 2 minutes but kept me on hold for 10 minutes and the call was disconnected.
i also wrote several times to call me back you never did.
I am always trying to call you guys and nowadays my phone is not being answered by your travel agents at all.
Please don't force me to take legal actions; because you know that I canceled the ticket within an hour of booking.

I have been waiting for my 2 x refunds since 13 November. When using the whatsapp line I have waited anything from 3 hrs to 5 days (and counting) for a response. The last time I spoke to Gwen and she assured me we would receive the refunds AND that someone would call me back to update me. I am still waiting. I hope this finds you well. I booked my travel tickets through Travelstart on 24 October 2021. I have all my requirements and documents and when the travel day arrives 19.11.2021 the Qatar counter says that transit through Sri Lanka is not allowed. Now panicking, I try to contact travel start who only assists 2 hours later. I have explained everything and advised that Qatar denied my boarding because there is no transit in Sri Lanka, which also says that travelstart maybe did not know this. I was told by Qatar that only travelstart can help me. So eventually when Robina messaged me I gave her all details and not assisting with the actual fact that this is NO FAULT of mine she gives
me ridiculous prices that I need to pay to change. I mentioned a few times I shouldn't be the one to pay because this was no fault of mine. I missed my flight and cannot book another one with such ridiculous prices. Why wasn't an official notification provided to say unfortunately transit through Sri Lanka is not allowed. Now I am sitting here absolutely [censored]ing disappointed that it had to happen on the day of my travel date. Why was I not made aware by the agency to say can we change your flight, why must it only be once the flight check in is happening. Why must we the clients go through all this robbery which basically what it is. Travelstart is tricking people only for this to happen and then we must pay a huge amount for changing. I can share screenshots of checking online that Sri Lanka allows transits for flights that are less than 10hrs. I requested my refund, which I was told would take 12 to 24 damn weeks. All my leave, all my plans have been [censored]ed because of this [censored]. Forgive my language, but you need to know my anger, which was caused by the Travelstart. It is your duty to ensure smooth traveling, but all I got was disappointment and [censored]ing no holiday.
Please advise on how you'll resolve the [censored] service received. I would never recommend this service. I thought I could trust a new booking option but not again.

Ticket not issued due to technical error without refund
I've booked a roundtrip flight with Travelstart on 10/10 and received a confirmation of the booking. Order number LDDJPF
When I got to the airport for my return flight on 10/12 the staff at the check-in counter told me that no ticket is booked in my name, so I was forced to buy a new flight at the counter. One day later (after the flight) on 10/13 I received an email from Travelstart that my tickets could not be issued due to technical issues (email is attached) but no word whether I will get reimbursed for it.
Since then, I've reached out to them two times about a refund but got no reply.

I am complaining about change schedule
We made a booking initially for the 2nd of October from JNB to COK. We were told that one of the flight schedules was changed so we were given a chance to change our flights to the 3rd which was subsequently full and we're told to book on the 4 th which we accepted. Today morning I received an email saying that there are some schedule changes with the flight. And we couldn't see our JNB - Cok ticket from the 4 th of October . So we checked with Emirates. Emirates confirmed that flights are not changed. Emirates rebooked our flights and it's visible again on their website. But they are saying if Travelstart does not confirm this with emirates, we could lose the ticket. We tried to contact travel start but not getting any response. Please help me with this.

They showed a price in SAR - which you would think is ZAR, or South African Rand - but it's a Saudi Arabia currency.
So they quoted about 5, 000 SAR - I am in South Africa, on what I thought is their South African website - so you would expect it to be Rand.
When I went to pay, R20, 000 was taken from my account!
I am hoping they refund me, but I am not sure they will.

Then I had to cancel the tickets since the airline changed the departure time.
When I enquired the airline about the refund they informed me that they will return the amount within 48 hours to Travelstart.
Then I continuously contacted Travelstart for almost four months.

Over deduction on my credit card

I have made a booking on 06 July 2021 Booking Confirmation ZA08840293 and the amount was deducted twice from my Credit Card, R521.00. another booking on 19 July 2021 Booking Confirmation ZA08865901 and R168.11 was again double deducted.

Incorrect name on boarding pass
I have recently made use of travelstart to book return flight fron jhb to PE online. To my dismay I discovered that my name (Karen) and surname (Felix) was captured as Felix Felix on boarding pass, but I have used my visa card to pay. I gave tried to get hold off travelstart to rectify issue, but they only use WhatsApp which was a nightmare as they waiting time for response was frustratingly long. When I went to board I was told I have to pay R150 before I can board to fix name change. Upon return 2nd airline charter charged me a ridiculous price of R1150 for name change before I could board. When I got hold of travelstart eventually the said I must contact air charter. This was uphailing that they can use my visa card to excess my acc but my boarding pass was wrong
