Troll and Toad Not satisfied with card quality but got a full refund

From Canada. Bought vintage Pok?mon cards in "near mint" condition, but only about 10% were actually near mint in my opinion. 90% had lots of scratches on the holofoil and should be classified anywhere from lightly to heavily played. I was not satisfied with the quality of the cards and called T&T customer service. They told me they would give me a full refund for the cards I wasn't satisfied with if I filled in the form on their website, and would even cover return shipping if I included a shipping receipt. They seemed pretty lax on returns, probably because a lot of people complained about this before, since most people don't read their condition guidelines, which has a rather low standard for near mint cards. So I sent back the cards... without tracking, because I figured I would be nice to save them money since they were going to cover return shipping. The courier told me it should arrive in a month, but I waited for 2 months. No refund. So I called T&T customer service again 3 times within a week but nobody picked up. I ended up sending an email to which they responded, telling me they haven't received my package. But 2 weeks after that I did get a full refund as promised, so I guess the courier was just delayed. Moral of the story is to include tracking.

TLDR: My purchase experience was full of ups and downs but ended up being fine as I got a few cards I wanted at near mint condition at a decent price, but as a collector I would not bother with T&T again as there are too many things that can go wrong and the hassle was probably not worth it.

Troll and Toad Great site, I don't buy from them because I don't play

Great site, I don't buy from them because I don't play pokemon and yugioh, but whenever I pick up some at garage sales I sell them to them and they always pay top dollar!

Troll and Toad Tcg lives on

I was the fool who sold his original Pokemon at garage sales for literally pennies. Now that I have kids, trading cards games have become a big part of our family. I find myself looking to re purchase all the rare cards I used to have, and to purchase new boosters from troll and toad. Generally, they are pretty competitive price wise, but other sites sometimes beat them out. But hey, would you rather spend a dollar less and have practically no customer support? Or a dollar more and have a dedicated support team who cares? I prefer the latter. My favorite place for MTG and Pokemon.

Troll and Toad Troll and Toad Review: Disappointing Experience with International Shipping and Refund Policy

I had some high hopes for my experience with Troll and Toad, as I've heard some great things about them. Unfortunately, after placing a substantial order and waiting for over 23 business days (which they stated upfront), I reached out to inquire about the status of my order. They assured me it was on its way, which was a relief. However, 30 days passed, and I still had not received anything. At this point, they let me know to wait until the 40-day mark, informing me that if my package did not arrive, they would issue a full refund.

Day 41 arrived, and I decided to request my refund as promised, but one of their representatives informed me in an email that they would not grant it, advising instead that I get in touch with my local delivery service. This left me incredibly confused and frustrated. To make matters worse, they had not provided me with a tracking number until I begged them multiple times. After about 20 days of going back and forth, they finally gave me one. However, it indicated that my package had been delivered in the United States, which was nonsensical since I resided in Europe. It seemed like they hadn't given me the right tracking number!

When I pressed them for an explanation, they claimed that they had indeed provided the correct tracking number and refused to issue me the refund they'd promised, even though it had already been over 40 days since I'd placed the order.

All in all, my experience with Troll and Toad was frustrating, to say the least. I was disappointed in how they handled the situation and how they went back on their word about the refund. I'd suggest caution when considering ordering from them if you're an international customer and require tracking information for your packages.

Troll and Toad Troll and Toad is a total scam

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy from this seller! This is a huge warning! They will not ship products to you in their labeled quality and their return service and customer support is automated, they just don't care about their consumers! Please I advise you to read my story below before considering to buy from this company at all!

I ordered 63 foil cards from the base Pokemon Black and White set because I'm trying to collect every card in foil or its cracked holo variant. Buying mint or near mint quality cards is very important to me, and I assume a lot of other collectors especially with foil and holo cards. Any damage easily shows on these special cards and it just makes your collection look bad overall. I was extremely excited when I came across Troll and Toad since they had not only great prices for the cards I wanted but they also had a ton of them from the set I wanted. ***DISCLAIMER THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT, this is what I thought before I received my absolute insult of an order.*** I ordered 63 cards all foil with the exception of the energy cards (all labeled on their website to be NEAR MINT condition). When I received my order I was shocked my what they sent me! Every single card I ordered was scratched, and not just a little bit, but nearly the entire surface area of each card was ruthlessly scratched and damaged like someone took steel wool to the surface of every card. For some cards the damage exceeded others with clouding and what looked to be water damage on the edges of some cards too. These were by no means anywhere near what they labeled to be "near mint" condition; if anything they send me "PLAYED" and or "DAMAGED" cards instead! On top of all the damaged cards they sent me they even gave me a wrong card, they game me the regular variant and not the foil card instead. I was absolutely livid, I spent $78 on these cards expecting what I ordered but I got anything but that.

Obviously I want my money back and I do not want these awful cards they sent me; but contacting their customer support was also a joke of a process. They took a whole four days to even respond to my support request. The time they responded wouldn't have bothered me so much if I didn't receive an two sentence automated response and a ADVERTISEMENT right below! What an absolute joke! Like hell I'm going to return my scam order and buy more of your crap! They told me to fill out a return form from that response, yup that's it they don't tell you what to do with that form or what to do with the order.

This entire company is a absolute joke and a scam, if you are interested in buying any trading card related product I HIGHLY encourage you to use any other site besides Troll and Toad! Sites like "Collectors Cache", "TCG Trader", "Toy Wiz" and more have better quality guaranteed products, I know because I have personally order from all three of them. Proceed with Troll and Toad AT YOUR OWN RISK, I would hate for someone to experience the same thing that I have with them! STAY AWAY!

Troll and Toad I sold my collectible cards to this company in exchange for store credit totaling $430.98

I sold my collectible cards to this company in exchange for store credit totaling $430.98. I received $384.66 without receiving any email about deductions. On Friday, July 24th, I placed a Buylist order to sell 51 collectible cards to this store. I have sold to them before without any issues. I sorted and packed the cards according to their guidelines to ensure safe delivery and shipped them out the same day. The cards were delivered on Monday, July 27th, and checked in the next day. The agreed-upon total from the Buylist was $430.98 in store credit, provided that the cards were received on time, properly sorted, and undamaged. According to the Selling guidelines, if there are any issues with the Buylist, such as improper sorting or undisclosed damage, I should receive a new offer. On August 3rd, I contacted them to inquire about the status of my order. They responded via email, stating that there were some delays due to the current pandemic, but the cards had been checked in and were awaiting processing. I waited again and contacted them through their customer service platform to follow up. They said they would investigate. However, as of August 10th, the order status still showed that it had not been processed. At around 9:00 pm, I checked again and noticed that I had some store credit, but it was not the amount listed in the Buylist invoice. I searched my email for any messages regarding my order and any updates, but I found nothing in either my spam folder or my inbox. I have sent an email to their customer service and a message through their online contact form. I will not receive any replies until tomorrow since they are now closed for the day.

On May 18th I submitted a sell order for purchase. On 6/2 my sell order was accepted and began showing as payment pending. It is now June 17th with payment still pending. After several emails and phone calls to customer service, I was told 10 business days from completed transaction to today saying "our accountant is behind" but still giving no clear date of expected resolution. The products I sold them are rare and not likely to be a common item amongst their inventory, however since my order was completed these items are listed for sale on their website and inventory matching what was submitted by me. This is borderline theft. I want payment for the goods I sold to them. Additionally, buyers should be warned of their shady business practices at minimum.

Sold items to this company cards from the buylist off there website they processed my order and received it but still have not received payment for my cards I sold them!
