I have tupperware modular mates food storage containers which I use for dry food storage for items like flour, sugar, cereal, etc. Lately, they are leaching a plastic smell and taste into the food. I contacted tupperware since their products are supposed to have a lifetime warranty. However, it turns out that they are only warranted against chipping, cracking, breaking or peeling. Apparently leaching horrible chemical tastes into the food is considered normal and acceptable.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I purchased many of the modular mates in 2009 and have tried and tried to get the plastic smell out of them. I have tried to email my representative and she is unresponsive. What can I do?
i am using Tupperware products for past 10 years. off late tupperware is not showing any concern towards customer service. after investing huge amount, consultants are not showing any interest in replacement blaming the company for the mess. i am feeling cheated and strongly condemn such negligence. who ever is responsible action should be taken against them. if the consultant is cheating please cancel the license for cheating innocent customers.
Even in tupperware bottles starts stinking after few hours
I have had the same problems with my modular mates. After many phone calls and finally threatening FDA and CPSC, tupperware replaced my products. They did not return my money, which is what I wanted. Also, it is very disappointing that I had to threaten government interferance to get their attention. I have lots of new tupperware if anyone wants some
Tupperware management has to sign a release, non disclosure agreement (gag order). Nixon once said: "follow the money, or: "Who Was The Accountant?"
