Uber Freight Chaos

App just got up graded from confusing to horrible.. Customer service obviously has no experience in trucking.. I understand wanting to have your piece of the “trucking pie” but at least be rational.. You have app tracking for a reason,, use it in the rendering of your decisions regarding arrival/check in times and detention.. It’s not like employees at these facilities are the happiest people.. Use a time stamped app photo or something ‍♂️.. And besides that the app won’t allow me to look ahead on my own I can only view the suggested reloads Update 7.12.2019 No sooner than I wrote a review I received an email about the app updating the update occurred and the app is much better now.. My only problem that I see with it thus far is that you can’t look for a load on a day that you have a load booked no matter if you’re dropping off the day that you’re attempting to search unless it’s in reloads .. Please fix this?

Uber Freight Exploitation! Uber doesn’t care about you!

Just last night I booked a load eight hours prior to pick time and arrived on time at 11 pm and was told to wait until my turn when the load is ready. After 9 hours of waiting, I was told by other drivers that this is a common practice by shippers using Uber Freight and scheduling as many trucks as possible and have them wait, sometimes 12-24 hours (not exaggerating) with no shipment order in sight. After 9 hours waiting I reached out to Uber Freight and complained by this issue and was told they will compensate for waiting but only received $150.00 for entire day and night wasted and 9 hours of waiting. Now I’m going back home empty to be able to make it to my daughter’s birthday. Even taxi waiting time is $50.00 an hour and here you get slapped on your face on the name of compensation. Uber does not value your time. Making big corporations happy is Uber’s only concern. SAVE YOURSELVES and DONT USE UBER FREIGHT!
BTW! I have recorded all their conversations just the way they do yours. I WILL EXPOSE UBER with passion.

Uber Freight Layover & detention pay

Picked up a load in Old Saybrook CT October 8 for a company called Shore Med equip going to Fort Myers FL . First off the location where I picked up was not meant for a tractor trailer so expertise was a must . Spent 6 hr getting loaded pick time was for 8 a.m arrived at the pick up at 5 a.m checked in at 7:30 a.m uber refused to pay detention . 1360 miles to the delivery ; arrived at the delivery at 7:30 a.m delivery time was for 9 a.m at the last minute uber sends a barrage of emails with different appointment times some stating 12 p.m , 1600 , the last email was for the next following day of October 12 . Driving through the a.m 12 to 6 to make appointment to the load being rescheduled for the next following day was a hassle to uber not wanting to compensate layover nor detention pay for the pickup . My conclusion for uber freight is after a while uber freight starts to count your money the people working behind the scenes try to get you to do loads for cheaper then usual one person in particular Garcellen Jones was sending me emails every morning with super cheap rates .

Uber Freight Lied about load weight and terrible customer support

I booked a load through the Uber Freight app and on the app it said the weight was only 10,000 pounds. When my trailer for this load was loaded, the weight was 44,500 pounds. I called them and they said that they would take care of it. When I finished the load, they are now looking for a scale ticket from me even though they didn’t tell me before scale it. I was not over my truck’s weight capacity and could scale 44,500 on my truck no problem. The load was from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Cleveland, Ohio. I went with Pennsylvania turnpike which charges based on weight. Had I been at 10,000 pounds I would have only been charged $100, but I was charged $250 because of the false weight. Their customer support is located outside of the United States in some foreign country. They have no idea how trucking in the United States works, their support is below zero. I am canceling my contract and will never use Uber again because I can’t get in contact with anyone in the United States that knows how trucking in America works so they can actually help me resolve the issue.

Uber Freight exagerado bajos precios

exagerado como bajaron los precios ultimamente 800 a 1000 millas por $450 sin ponerse a pensar que nosotros hacemos el viaje y volvemos vasios osea que hacemos de 1,600 a 2,000 millas por $400 o $500 y eso tan solo da para el diesel y talves el peaje, No estan valorando nuestro fuerzo que andamos arriezgando nuestra salud y la de nuestra familia, necesitamos trabajar pero tampoco vamos hacer el trabajo de gratis, tomen en cuenta que muchos owner operators estamos pagando el truck, el seguro de truck, trailer y carga y el diesel y las rreparaciones del truck, que les pasa mejor digan que les hagamos las cargas de gratis y ya ustedes cobrenlas y quedense con el pago por esa carga y nosotros les trabajamos de 14 a 16 horas sin contar las 5 a 8 horas de espera que en algunos warrehouse ai que esperar, No le hechen la culpa al corona virus porque trabajo ai y demasiado pero a ustedes lo unico que les importa es llenarse la bolsa ustedes y nosotros que somos los que hacemos el trabajo no ganamos nada y andamos arriezgando nuestras vidas, de que nos sirve seguir asi, mejor no hago nada pero no les voi a rregalar mi trabajo

Uber Freight Scam!

The only thing was good in this company just the app. After some updates, they made that worse, they made that you work cheaper. They made that after booking the load now they not allowing to monitor loads in the area. They also removed sound notification , because the want that you constantly monitor, and would get tired of that , and would grab load quickly and cheap . They also forcing you to use constantly gps tracking and see trucks in the area, trying to push for you cheap loads. They uses last minute canceling very often, they can send you in the area where they need sell cheap load, for pick up another load which you booked for a “good” rate. And they cancel that load and you in the trap. they trying to push to you that cheap load, which they cant sell all day,especially in the evening, espesialy Friday, when you cant get another load, and they see that you are in the pick up area. Customer service is terrible. Detention: they are not paying any detention if they holding truck more then one day. Max detention 300 for the first day. But if you will not get unloaded in one day time- you in trouble. There was case when was CANCELED delivery appointment at the last minute , when the load arrived to the delivery on time. Customer service was not rearranging appointment for 9 days. And was not arranging any load storage for that time and not paying any detention for that time. Slow slow slow . Stay away from this app.they even not allowing to write negative reviews, if you will give one star they will not show yours negative review... scam.

Uber Freight Important

Ride hailing companies like you have fundamentally changed the landscape of our transportation system. But not all of these changes have been positive.

I urge you to become true leaders of change in the fight against climate change and pollution. As you know, transportation has become the leading source of carbon pollution in the United States. We cannot tackle this problem by increasing the number of rides in fossil fuel powered cars.

The negative impacts of ride-hailing services, including congestion, pollution, low quality jobs lacking living wages or worker protections, and transit decline, disproportionately impact low-income communities the most. New research has shown that congestion has increased in large cities where Lyft and Uber operate while these services have simultaneously reduced transit ridership in nine major US cities, including the three biggest. Not only does this increase in vehicles and decrease in transit use lead to more pollution, it also leads to more smog and soot, which exacerbates health problems such as asthma.

I urge you to achieve a goal of 100% clean rides, ensuring that all company- and driver-owned or leased vehicles are electric by 2030, in addition to working with mass transit in meaningful ways instead of competing with it; incentivizing shared rides over single-passenger rides; assuring all autonomous vehicles are electric; and committing to treating your workers better and paying them a living wage.

I am asking you to take bold and fast climate action to be a true leader in our much-needed transition to clean transportation choices.

Uber Freight I’ve been at the receiver for almost 24 hrs now

I’ve been at the receiver for almost 24 hrs now and Uber Freight DONT call me to give me an update on what’s going on and if I’m going to get unloaded today. I don’t even know if they are working on getting me unloaded to be honest. I called them about 10 times from 1/17 at 15:00 to 1/18. I was supposed to deliver a load on 1/17 at 15:45 and according to the receiver my appointment time was for 12:45. How can that be possible if Uber Freight is saying in the Rate Confirmation that the delivery time is at 15:45? So, I had to laid over until today 1/18. I just want to advice anyone to be very careful when it comes to using this App. It can help you find loads but it can also make you waste your time and money. I had to cancel another load that I was supposed to pick up afterwards. By cancelling that load I just lost money because of Uber Freight mistakes.
My experience with Uber Freight has been somewhat bad. I usually don’t write reviews but I felt like you (drivers) should know what reality is when it comes to working with Uber Freight. Drivers, you don’t deserve nothing less than the best. We do what ever it takes to pick up and deliver on time. No one really knows what we have to go thru from DOTs pulling you over, weigh stations, dealing with the ppl on the road, weather conditions, shippers and receivers and more to just name few things. And now dealing with Uber Freight mistakes because they weren’t paying attention to their job.
Today is my last day using Uber freight. It doesn’t work like you think and they don’t pay as good as you deserve.
I’m writing this because I don’t wish you to go thru what I’m going thru right now.
My wife is pregnant and my son is not doing so good. I needed to be home today and my entire plan of helping my wife with everything just go destroy by Uber Freight.

Uber Freight Wrongfully Account deactivation / Customer Service

My Uber Frieght Account has been wrongfully suspended and they have not provided an answer on why. My Account has 0 negative remarks I have never cancelled a load and was also on time to each load. I still have not heard from anyone and they have not yet gave me a real person to speak to. They only have foreigners that do not speak the same language barrier and I call at-least 2 to 3 times a day and I still do not get an answer. They do not have anyone to Handle real problems when it comes to this app. They also tell me that they cannot tell me what’s going on and they cannot help me. This is ridiculous. This affects my trucking business entirely, and if I cannot get a hold of anyone, I will have to go out of business because of this customer service issue.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate if I could seek justice or get someone to help me with this claim from Uber Frieght.

Uber Freight Detention and compensation

So last night had a load ti pick up in Abilene Tx. Arrived to find out they were backed up at least 6hrs. So I waited my turn, finally get a call to load at 6:15 am. Frantically trying to call Uber Freight to verify, I would be unloaded and receiver today! I waited till 9:00 ish to receive a email! I had asked to be contacted by phone! They informed the load wouldn’t be unloaded till the next day. If I had been informed this information, I would’ve canceled the load. I had to cancel my next load because of Uber. They don’t believe in communication with the driver!

Desired outcome: I would like to be better compensated for my time. I spent 71/2 waiting for load, my time is worth more than that. I also lost today load and was compensated with a funky $200! Shame on Uber

Uber Freight Terrible app that will make you lose money!

I wouldn’t even give one star. It is so difficult to work because the load you booked will randomly disappear from your “my load” section. Impossible to talk to anyone from support because they resourced their work to over seas and most don’t speak English or heavily accented that I cannot understand a thing they are saying. I had my driver sent to a location they provided me with for the app to stop functioning and the load disappeared from our “my load”. Overall, I am losing money and time for using Uber Freights. Save your time and use DAT or 123 load board.

Uber Freight Horrible Carrier Customer Service

I agree 100% with reviews of bad customer experience. Uber is set up now as a uneducated call center. No professional dispatch people. They follow a script, if you fall of that script they are stumped become rude and offer no way of speaking with someone more educated in trucking. I think it’s insulting to deal with a broker like this. They started out so well. Now either success has taken its tole on this company or they can’t keep up with their growth. Judging from the huge financial hole Uber is in I don’t think it success. Listen up Uber Freight, as said from others here, No Carriers means No Uber Freight. Stop treating carriers poorly. This is our industry and we demand to be treated with professionalism and respect. That former Chicago mail building will be awful quiet if you continue this current path.
