My name is Angela Smarrito and I've recently cancelled both my Ulta card and Loft card because of how terrible the woman working in collections was to me. I was late on my Ulta payment, I missed a month. I started getting lots of text and calls just saying to contact them back asap. I did not realize I had missed a payment.
When I called back I was driving in traffic and the woman who answered explained to me that I was over a month late on my payment. I apologized and told her I would make a payment as soon as I got home. She said she could stop the harassing calls if I paid her right then over the phone. I told her I was driving in traffic so she told me she would wait for me to pull over so I could pay her. I was surprised that she even suggested I pull over in traffic and I explained to her again, I was driving in traffic and it wasn't safe for me to make payment. She then said, well if your in traffic you not moving so you can get your purse to make payment! At that point I was angry and I said it sounded like me making payment was more important than my safety. She replied, well you are late on your payment. I hung up at that point so she did not get any commission from being a terrible person. When I got home I called, made a payment and canceled my Ulta card AND Loft card. These are terrible tactics to teach the collections people. I am a good person, I have money to pay my cards and you can see from my history I used them often. I was a perfect card customer for Comenity. You lost a really good customer because of that call. I know you record the calls so if it makes any difference at all, you should listen to the call. Then you should fie that lady.
