Master card
It was worst day of my life when I open my account in United Bank Limited (UBL). I am basically a student and I cannot afford my University fesses. I decided to start online earning from websites like Freelancer, Up work, Fiver etc. I went in nearest UBL branch to open my account and get Master Card or Visa Card. I explain to that person who was opening my account that I am open this account for online earning and I need Visa Card or Master Card. First he asked me to deposit 10, 000 rupees to open your account. So after moments he ordered my card but it was not Visa or Master card it was simple debit card when cannot be used for online work. I was thinking that he ordered the Master Card for me and I will receive it after few days. But after few days I received simple debit card. After that I visited the UBL branch again and complain about the mistake they have done but they don not talk to me seriously and ask me to replace your card through helpline and you will receive the correct card in few days. After that I came to home and call on helpline and asked to replace my card. The person on helpline told me that you will receive your Master Card in 1 week on your address. I was very happy now. After two days I received SMS that your card is dispatched and you will receive it in next 8 working days. After 10 working days I was still waiting for card. I called on helpline again them the person on call told me that you have to wait for 3 days only. After 5 days I was still waiting for my card. Now today I called on helpline again and as usual they asked me to wait for 3 days. Now, I know that all the paragraph I am writing is just waste of time and no one will read my complain. My friends who opened their account in other banks have started their work and I am just waiting for a card. Now I am in depression. What about my fesses that I have to pay. What about my parents and siblings who ask me for money. I am very sad and feeling stressful. Don, t know what to do. Go into another bank or just die.

Non cooperative attitude of bank officer
I have had a really bad experience when I visited UBL Sakhi Hassan Darbar Branch in North Nazimabad. I went with my daughter to open her bank account. The lady whom I dealt with didn't cooperate and kept mentioning that system is not working. After waiting for an hour, I brought this matter to Branch Manager attention but it didn't help.
Bank officer kept inssisiting my daugter to visit in morning. I explained that she cannot visit in the morning as she is working in a school and can't finish her day before 3:00 p.m.
Please take some necessary action so as your bank don't lose your customers.

میں توقیر احمد جو کہ اُردو بازار برانچ میں ایک چھوٹا سا کاروبار کرتا ہوں۔ جو کہ آج صبح میں ایک چیک جمع کروانے کی خاطر اُردو بازار برانچ میں گیا جہاں موجود مس عمارہ (کیشیر) جو کہ کیش پر کام کر رہی تھیں سے دریافت کیا کہ کلیرنس کا چیک جمع کرنے کے لیے کون ڈیوٹی پر ہے تو موصوفہ نے جواب دیا کہ کوئی نہیں جبکہ جس کی ڈیوٹی کاونٹر پر تھی وہ کیبن کے اندر موجود تھی۔ لہٰذا مجھے کیش کاونٹر پر بلوا کر کہا کہ مجھے چیک دیں اور فرمانے لگیں کہ ایک پرچی اور فل کریں کیونکہ ہمارا سسٹم کام نہیں کر رہا جب کہ اسی اثنا میں جس بچی کی ڈیوٹی تھی وہ شاید نیچے بیٹھی کوئی کام کر رہی تھی فورا اُٹھی اور اس نے میرا چیک جمع کر کے رسید مجھے دے دی۔
اسی دوران موصوفہ عمارہ جو کہ کیش کاونٹر پر ڈیوٹی دے رہی تھیں دو عورتوں جو کہ بل جمع کروانےآئی تھیں اُن کو صاف منع کر دیا کہ یہاں بل جمع نہیں ہوتا کیا آپ کا بنک بل جمع کرنے کا مجاز نہیں؟ یا محترمہ کا کام کرنے کا موڈ نہ تھا۔
موصوفہ کے کام کرنے کے اس طریقہ سے میری بڑی دل آزاری ہوئی ہے لہٰذا درخواست ہذا کے ذریعے التماس ہے کہ اپنے سٹاف کا رویہ بہتر بنایا جائے اور مذکورہ موصوفہ کی باز پرس کی جائے۔

Hello, this is Waqas Alam assigned as a Data Analyst in Jang newspaper. It's been 2 months that I haven't received my salary due to a bank system issue. My salary was credited from my organization on 8 May, 2021 and I have received my cheque book and ATM on 6 May. Bank claims that my account has no error whatsoever however, the accounts section says the bank has not activated my account which is factually true, when I log in from app it shows that my account has restrictions. UBL II chundriger brank is NOT helpful at all. They don't pick up the calls and whenever I visit the bank they say everything is fine. They are not mentioning my account error and because of that I can't be paid by my organization.
I request you to please look into my matter as soon as possible or atleast ask the branch to find out the error and do not crack jokes during office hours.

I have opened company account 2months back but still I haven't gotten net banking. I continuously visited bank branch but they didn't help me out, according to them this is not from bank side. I contacted again and again 021111825666, 021111825888, 080055825 but no one help me out. I have sent email to customer services but they also didn't do anything. I'm fully upset from ubl, as no one know what to do and how can one help their customers. No one show interest in resolving my problem, for almost 2 months I have continuously visited branch, contacted helpline sent a lot of emails but till now I didn't received a satisfying reply. Branch employees said that contact helpline and helpline members said go to branch... Kindly consider my complaint against branch and helpline and customer care services and sort out my problem of net banking.

Remittance collector misbehavior

Today I visited to a bank to receive my remittance but unfortunately the bank was short of money according to cashier, so I couldn't get money but he dealt me v well and guided me I may also receive from UBL. Then I went to UBL (UBL _AK, Chowki, Teh.Samahni, Dist.Bhimber )there one of remittance collector told me the bank is short of money I couldn't. I asked may I collect it tomorrow he said he don't have any idea if he have high demand for money then bank will asked head office to send money tomorrow and there is no high demand then bank will not asked for money. I said it mean I couldn't get it tomorrow. He said if u r so smart than why you don't asked to sender to transfer directly into your account we have ATM. Cash out your money from machine outside the bank there are various other channels too to receive money. First learn the channels and teach the sender .Why you waste yours and our time. His behaviour was very very insulting.
I need to know why the banks are working here?
But if the Banks work here, Is there work is to facilitate customer or insult customer?
This is not first time I am a free lancer, every month I receive remittance but whenever I visited to bank (UBL _AK, Chowki, Teh.Samahni, Dist.Bhimber) they made different excuses by purpose, some time their server down, some time link down, some time short of money some time out of services, etc. Then I need to visit other branch after 1.5hr drive.
And ATM of this bank (UBL _AK, Chowki, Teh.Samahni, Dist.Bhimber) is mostly remain closed but when it active mostly we need to wait very long time for transaction because of its poor service.
I requested incompetent employee must be terminated. Bank staff should be cooperative. If a branch can't facilitate customers it should be permanently sealed.

It is very sorry to inform you that I am finding your services very disappointed. I am writing here on behalf of Zero Healthcare, We have our company account in your DHA phase 4 Ameen Branch (0208) but we often refer our employees to College Road branch (1345) because it's near to us. As our employees visit there with cash amount even 3 to 4 million but there He faces many issues regarding stay in a line for about an hour and then after that your resource person (Muhammad Noman Saleem) ask to wait until rest persons to be cleared because we are not from that branch Alas!
I don't think this is the professional way to treat and, especially to a Multinational Company. Kindly resolve this issue on priority basis as Zero Healthcare is a Multinational brand using UBL as our company account but always it is unsatisfactorily and disappointed experience till now. Resolve our issues on priority basis otherwise, we have other options for availing this service.

I am emailing you on behalf of Pakistan Holstein Private Limited. We have a corporate account with your Sheikh Maltoon branch Mardan KPK having branch code 1409. We are having monthly turnover of approximately 60-70 million which is transacted through UBL. In the last 6 months we had transactions above 300 million with UBL.
We have chosen to avail banking services from UBL in order to receive value added services from your side, but we have been suffering from the past 3 months. The response / behavior from the branch is very pathetic and neglecting. We have applied for account opening of our employees but despite of the fact that 3 months have been passed and still 80 percent of the employee's accounts can't be accessed.
Even I CFO, COO, and GM operations of the company have personally visited bank for our account opening and all the formalities / documents have been provided to bank, along with biometrics. we were informed that our accounts will be opened in couple of days but its more than a month now, and still we dont have any confirmation regarding our bank accounts. Every time we call branch, they informed us that it will get opened on the very next day, but all are lame excuses. They have told us that the issue is on IT part, but how is it possible that the IT problem is only restricted to sheikh maltoon branch, whereas in the whole pakistan ubl operations are running smoothly.
if this is the case with executives of the Company, how can we expect any positive sort of attitude from bank towards our other employees.
Please let us know clearly, if you can not proceed / execute our requests, we will switch to some other bank. its already been very delayed. The services from your branch is very poor and dis-satisfactory. Very pathetic staff service. Even we had a compalint sent through email and call to regional Manager as well, but of no use.

Dear team, I am a credit card user with last 4 digits as 1161. I used to receive credit card statement on email as PDF every month because I always need it before 1st. (Postal statement comes late). Now UBL has stopped sending that automatically and I have to request it every month. Worst on that, I am requesting statement on call for last 3 days daily but its not being sent to me. Remitter (Adnan Aziz) from Saudi Arabia (Abha) sent remittance of amount PKR 25, 012 on 10-03-2020 through Westren Union by using STCPAY. MTCN Number for Remittance is [protected]. I have visited the UBL G-8 Markaz branch (0234) to collect my remittance and teller tried the MTCN number and ask to visit the branch again in 1 or 2 hours as according to him there was an error at their system. when I visited again he said that there is same error again and he asked me to visit another bank to collect my remittance. After that I visited another bank (askeri bank), their teller told me that your MTCN number was already hit by another bank and remittance is hold at their end so you can only get your money from them. After this I visited the same branch of UBL multiple times but got no positive response. Every time they asked me to just sit and wait in the branch for hours and just told me that they are emailing to head office and will get the reply soon. After visiting several time for 2, 3 days with the interval of 1 or 2 weeks I talked to their branch manager about this and he took my contact info and and told that he will inform me when got reply from head-office. I have waited for 2 weeks but didn't get any email or call then I called to branch manager myself, He told me that according to head-office your MTCN number has changed and your transaction is shifted to another MTCN number he also asked me that Did you get new MTCN number from our head-office? when I denied, he ask me to call at UBL helpline to get new MTCN number. When I called at helpline number they told me that there is no issue at their end and contact to your remitter and ask him to get status from company from where he sent you the money. remitter also get status from company and they sent me the e slip, and according to that my remittance status is paid.. I have receipt and e slip from STCPay and will provide to you upon request as I couldn't attach it here, Its been a long time (almost 4 months) since I don't even know where the actual issue is and where is my money, During this period all this behavior of not taking the matter seriously from bank is very pathetic, no one even guide me properly and and take this long and still my issue not get resolved. I am requesting you to please look into this issue and resolve otherwise I will complaint to state bank and eventually on citizen portal as it been so long and everyone is just bouncing this problem here and there. This complaint is in terms to inform you that your cashier Miss Asma (lady with veil) sitting at Sahiwal high street main branch (0391) behaved very bad. As my son went to deposit money which was round of 2 lacs after waiting for 1 hour when his turn came he went to her as she sits at counter no 2 she took currency of 1000 and 5000 but when it came to have 100 ones she threw back whole amount and said go back assemble them all then come to me you can also check your CCTV video. This is not at all professional behaviour as I have 5 accounts of my family members at your bank is this the behaviour you do with your old and loyal customers? Such a pathetic lady she was.
Kindly take an action against her as this will not be tolerate again.
